The goal of current research to identify the implications of intellectual and psychological drawings of women in prison in Sulaimaniya province through her paint and collected through cooperation with the creativity of the development organization of women in Sulaimaniya, consisted search of five chapters, the first chapter contains the goals of the research and its problem and its significance in addition to its limits and determine the terminology, while the second chapter included the theoretical framework and the literature on the subject of the search, and in the third quarter where he explained the researchers research methodology and procedures, either in the fourth quarter may offer researchers graphics prisoners and then read through the identification analysis procedures, and in the fifth chapter the authors discuss the results Find and that was the most important,(77%)of the women prisoners was style self, while walked through (23%) of whom style and realistic (50%) of whom suffer fear, anxiety and stress, as she was (43%) of them tend to be concentrated in an attempt to compensate marginalized them, was (36%) of whom find it difficult to communicate with others, while 7% of them feel betrayed. The study aims to identify the educational research obstacles as perceived by the faculty members at the universities of south in the west bank. As for study population, it included all (60) faculty-member in the colleges of education (bait lahem, alahliyah, al-khalil, and al-Quds almaftoha). To collect study data, the researcher used a questionnaire that consisted of (43) item; it has categorized into seven-domains: academic working conditions, academic management, resources and information, faculty members, publication, planning, and funding educational research. The findings revealed that Educational research obstacles were high with an average of (4, 39), no significant differences among sample averages and stander deviations on the level of scientific rank and place of work, and among seven-domains, there were some obstacles showed high averages than the others. The researcher recommended that it is necessary to consider the quality of educational research and enhance the spirit of group work among faculty member to meet the needs of society of finding solutions for problems.

The aim of this study was to study the item difficulty and item discrimination of the SCAT (advance form) with CTT, and IRT, and to study the correlation among them. To do this, the researchers used the data of their previous study, which conducted in (2011). It consisted of (3943) subject. Then, they used two-statistical programs (TAP, Bilog-MG-3) to obtain the item difficulty and item discrimination coefficient in CTT and IRT. The results revealed a good item difficulty and item discrimination coefficient. Additionally, it showed a significant correlation between CTT and IRT in item difficulty and item discrimination. The researchers recommended of using any of these two theories to obtain the item difficulty and item discrimination for the tests and to do extended studies for the SCAT.

The study aims to identify the level of modesty and self-assertiveness among Tikrit university’s students in regard with students’ gender and major (scientific, human studies), and to identify the correlation between modesty trait and self-assertiveness of students. To this end, the researcher has designed a scale to measure modesty that consisted of four-domains (decency, avoiding of unattractive, pang of conscience, and apprehension). Moreover, the researcher adopted a scale of self-assertiveness that designed by (shawki, 1998). The sample included (600) student on first-stage at the university of Tikrit. The results revealed that students have a high level of modesty and self-assertiveness; there is a correlation between modesty trait and self-assertiveness; female has a high level of modesty than male do. Modesty showed a high level at scientific studies than that of human studies, and finally, gender showed no significant difference in self-assertiveness, but self-assertiveness showed significant difference in regard of scientific studies.

The research aims to identify the meaning of drug addiction, which being one of the behavioral-deviation signs. It largely seems similar to alcohol-addiction. World health organization has defined drug addiction as a sporadic or chronic-state of intoxication emerges of recurrent-consumption of drugs that impact harmfully on individual and society. The second aim is to study the psychological and health implications on drugs’ users and thirdly to design a psychological-program for those who take drugs.

The study aims to examine the emotional innovation, constructive thinking, foresight, and meditation among university students. Besides, attempts to explore the relationship between emotional innovation and constructive thinking, the relationship between emotional innovation and foresight, and meditation, the relationship between constructive thinking and foresight, and meditation, finally, the relationship among emotional innovation, constructive thinking, foresight, and meditation of university students regarding the variables of gender and major. A total of (400) students were selected as a sample for the study. The results revealed that university students have a high level of emotional innovation that induce them to take positive role in social activities that meet their needs as well as they have significant levels of constructive thinking, foresight, and meditation. The results also showed there is no a significant relationship among emotional innovation, constructive thinking, foresight, and meditation

Personality regard as one of the human soul pillars that has been built throughout the life of people, starting from the fertilizing process to different stages of people ages. Over time, numerous scientific studies have shown that fetus has the ability to hear and feel and he is being stereotyped since the first stages of formation. Accordingly, the process of forming human personality set up since that date. Besides, the socialization means that take different resources to enhance human personality such as holy Quran, school, social media, and social environment. The emergence of social media made the world as a small village which gives the chance for all people, over the world, to obtain the knowledge easily and limitless. Thus, the problem lies in the fact that the whole world is between the hands of teachers (schoolteacher, university teacher) and students. As we were previously looking for information in the books and often ask the teacher directly for information, currently, even children who didn’t get in school began to get information through mobile or computers.

This research aims at investigating pupils’ ability in using discourse markers which are identified in the English textbooks of secondary schools. Four texts are chosen from third intermediate class. The four texts are short stories of different topics.
This research hypothesizes that there are no statistical significant differences among Iraqi intermediate pupils’ ability in using textual and interpersonal discourse markers.
After surveying ,collecting and analyzing data statistically, the research revealed that the higher frequent use of discourse markers is textual markers is better , i.e. pronouns .

Family violence and its impact on the educational achievement of primary school children
The research included four chapters starting with the chapter dealing with the problem of child abuse which was one of the most important educational and social problems faced by children from their parents or family members. The most common forms of abuse are physical and psychological violence. The problem of school delays is also one of the most important educational and psychological issues that concern educators, which occur because of violence and neglect of the family. The study pointed out that domestic violence is one of the issues that has started to alarm both the global and local communities, because childhood is one of the most important stages of the human development system, which is healthy in terms of physical, mental, psychological and social development. And the importance of the effects of domestic violence on the imbalance in educational achievement and the occurrence of the problem of school delays for primary school children.
The aim of the research is to identify: the nature of family violence, its prevailing patterns and its causes in society, and the extent of the relationship between domestic violence and school delays in children in primary school. As well as to make some suggestions and recommendations that can contribute to reducing the phenomenon of domestic violence and get rid of the problem of school delays.
The research is determined by the children of the primary stage, because this stage of the process of establishing in the two processes (educational and learning). Violence, family, family violence, child, violence against children, school delays, and late studies are also defined.
The second chapter dealt with the theoretical framework dealing with forms of violence against children, psychological disorders and personality disorder, the motives of domestic violence, and studies on domestic violence and its impact on school delays.
The third chapter deals with the theories of violence, the basic hypotheses of social learning theory, the theories of growth and its stages, the factors affecting scholastic achievement, and the needs of Maslow and its relationship to helping the child achieve scholastic achievement.
Chapter IV examined its findings by linking the results of previous studies with theories of violence and growth. It found that domestic violence does not depend on physical harm. Psychological violence is sometimes more disruptive, leading to delays in children Primary stage. It also addressed some of the recommendations.

The research team seeks to study the phenomena of random housing in Iraqi society in general and Baghdad city in particular by standing on the causes behind this phenomena and its relation with security situation in Baghdad. The researchers adopted a theoretical and practical framework. The main objective is to diagnose the risks caused by the escalation of slums in Baghdad city.

The study aims to identify the role of family in inculcating the moral values of voluntary work among adults, as it constitutes the basic social institution that is responsible for raising and control children. It has regarded as the first phase of constituting societies, where family plays a significant role in changing the behavior of individuals positively or negatively through provided patterns. The moral values act as organizer of human relationship in which misusing of these values would affect the interaction between people. This study focuses on how to employ the moral values in voluntary work as a civilized behavior helps in developing and strengthening societies. The researcher adopted the analytical-descriptive approach as more appropriate approach for carrying out this study that concluded with number of recommendations and suggestions would be helpful in conducting more relevant-future studies.

Achievement in Mathematics
The research seeks to identify the correlation relationship between strategic intelligence and fifth preparatory students’ achievement in mathematics. To achieve this objective, stratified random sampling were used based on participants’ gender and the branch of study. The sample consisted of (200) male and female fifth preparatory students for both (literary and scientific branch) who were displaced to Arbil city in Iraq for the academic year 2016-2017. As for research tool, the researcher administered strategic intelligence test to the study sample in the second semester which was designed by Ibrahim (2017), it includes (30) items divided into five domains (predictability, organized thinking, future view, motivation, and partnership). The findings showed there is a statistical correlation between strategic intelligence and students’ achievement in mathematics at the level of (0.05) among students.

The research seeks to identify situational regret and its relation to the vitality of conscience among university students, identify the significant differences in regard with students’ gender, and identify if there is a correlation between situational regret and the vitality of conscience. To do this, two scales were adopted; one to measure situational regret consisted of (31) items, which was designed by (Al-badrani, 2006), besides, costa and macrys’ (1992) scale that translated in Arabic language by (Al-qaisy, 2013). It composed of (35) items. Total of (120) male and female students were collected from three-different colleges (science, arts, and education) at the Al-mustansiriyah University for the Academic Year (2016-2017). The findings revealed no significant differences between male and female student in regard of situational regret, male students showed a significant differences comparing to females in regard of the vitality of conscience. Likewise, the findings revealed a statistically significant correlation between situational regret and the vitality of conscience among sample, and finally, a good level of situational regret and conscience vitality was found among the study sample.

The purposes of study are to measure the perceived competence and the locus of control among sixth-grade students, to identify the statistical differences between the perceived competence and the locus of control among sixth-grade students regarding the variable of gender, achievement, and economical status, and lastly, explore the correlation relationship between perceived competence and locus of control among sixth-grade students, To do this, the researchers have constructed two scales: one to measure the perceived competence based on bandura's theory (social-cognitive theory) which consisted of (26) items and the other to measure the locus of control based on Rotter's theory (social-learning theory) which included (25) items. The sample comprised (500) sixth-grade students. The findings revealed that study sample has a high level of perceived competence, no significant differences between perceived competence and the locus of control regarding of gender, achievement, and economical status, and there is no correlation between perceived competence and the locus of control.

The purpose of current study is to analyze the computer textbooks content for intermediate stage in Iraq according to the theory of multiple intelligence. By answering the following question “what is the percentage of availability of multiple intelligence in the content of the computer textbooks on intermediate stage (grade I, II) for the academic year (2017-2018)? The researcher followed the descriptive analytical research approach (content analysis), and adopted an explicit idea for registration. The research tool was prepared according the Gardner’s classification of multiple intelligence. It has proven validity and reliability. The study found the percentage of multiple intelligence in the content of computer textbooks for the intermediate stages (grade I, II) separately (40%), (59%) respectively, collectively (66.67%).

The study aims to analyze computer textbooks content for preparatory stage according to the logical thinking. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical research approach (content analysis), and adopted an explicit idea during the analysis process. One of the content analysis tools which was designed based on mental processes employed during logical thinking has utilized to figure out the study results. The findings revealed that logical thinking skills formed (52%) in fourth preparatory textbook and (47%) in fifth preparatory textbook.

The study seeks the relationship between the mathematical-procedural Knowledge and the logical-mathematical intelligence among students at the third stage in mathematics department. To this end, three questions were arisen: what is the level of mathematical-procedural Knowledge among the third stage students in mathematics department regarding their gender? Do male or female students have more logical-mathematical intelligence and are there significant differences base on their gender? What kind of correlation is between the level of mathematical-procedural Knowledge and the logical-mathematical intelligence of male and female students in the third stage in the mathematics department? A sample of (75) male and female students at the third stage in mathematics department were selected from college of education for pure sciences \ University of Baghdad. The researcher has developed two scales: one to measure the mathematical-procedural Knowledge consisted of (8) items, and the other to measure logical-mathematical intelligence composed of (10) items. The findings revealed a correlation relationship between the mathematical-procedural Knowledge and the logical-mathematical intelligence foe sample as a whole. It also found students have logical-mathematical intelligence comparing to the mathematical-procedural Knowledge that showed a low level.

The concept of equality in Islamic thought emanates from the unity of human entity that does not breach the concept of equality in itself and it should take differentiation among people as means for development and growth not as excuse for injustice and discrimination. Islamic thought has left all the prevailing norms of differentiation such as (weakness and strength, economic and social position, gender, color, and social class). Islamic thought has underscored the quality of people of different race, race, color, and language which was not familiar in those civilizations before the emergence of Islam such as (Egyptian, Persian, roman civilization). It was common to divide people into different social classes. The aim of Islam is to keep equality as the predominant criterion in dealing with people who have equal duties and rights and no one is better than others but in done activities.

The researcher attempts to examine Barman model in acquiring the historical concepts among fourth-grade students at literary classrooms. To this end, the researcher held the null hypothesis, there is no significant difference between the experimental groups who was taught based on Barman model and the control group that taught based on the traditional method in acquiring the historical concepts on the post-test. To testify the effectiveness of Barman model, the researcher administered a questionnaire included (60) items on bunch of female-students who were selected from al-khamaeal preparatory school in al-hurriyah district in Baghdad. The author utilized different statistical tools to analyze the collected data.

The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between critical thinking, epistemological beliefs, and learning strategies with the academic performance of high school first-grade male and female students in Yazd. For this purpose, from among all first-grade students, as many as 250 students (130 females and 120 males) were selected by using multistage cluster sampling. The data needed were then collected through using California Critical Thinking Skills Test, Schommer's Epistemological Beliefs Questionnaire, Biggs’ Revised Two Factor Study Process Questionnaire. The findings indicated that there is a positive significant relationship between critical thinking and academic performance and achievement. Moreover, four factors of epistemological beliefs include knowledge structure, knowledge stability, learning ability, and learning speed; these four factors have a positive significant relationship with the students’ academic performance. The other variable of the present study is learning strategies including deep and surface strategies. The findings of the present study indicated that there is a positive significant relationship between deep learning strategy and academic achievement. However, no significant relationship was observed between surface learning strategy and academic performance. Furthermore, the findings obtained from the multiple regression analysis indicated that except for the surface learning strategy, all other predictor variables (i.e. critical thinking, structure, stability, ability, speed, and deep learning strategy) explained and predicted the academic performance. To sum up, it can be claimed that critical thinking, epistemological beliefs, and deep learning strategy affect the students’ academic progress and achievement.
