The school of Hadith in the Levant witnessed a great revival in the field during the seventh century AH, its foundations laid by eminent imams, distinguished scholars, and accomplished hadith masters, foremost among them the Imam and memorizer Yusuf ibn Khalil al-Dimashqi. He had a profound impact on enriching this school and played a significant role in establishing its foundations and strengthening its pillars through his blessed efforts in serving the pure Prophetic Sunnah, through its preservation and classification, its explanation and critique, and its transmission and dissemination.

I thank the UAE University for its generous initiative in holding such important conferences, which raise the level of culture among others and show the way for those who are lost, especially as we live with a sworn enemy who seeks to encircle the nation. He has targeted, with his various forces and diverse methods, everything we cherish from our past, every thought we are proud of, every goal we strive for, and every scientific wealth that is the focus of our existence. He has managed to find those who exploit young girls in their innocence or recklessness, embellishing the abomination for that girl, thus capturing many families across generations. Death is less than many in the destruction that results from a crime of honor committed against an unsuspecting family, a safe home, or free and secure individuals. Homes that were once standing are destroyed, families that were once safe crumble, and girls are born, girls who are neither for death nor for life. Or that girl is killed, but the shame remains on the father, and despite the brother\\'s disavowal, the disgrace remains, passed down through generations. Successive generations in this family or that tribe, all for the sake of fleeting moments in which a wicked person unleashes his lust on a once-concealed honor that is now violated, and a once-protected dignity that is now trampled, and a once-noble character that is now debased. Not to mention the harm this crime causes in terms of offending public decency, violating the sanctity of society, and transgressing against sacred boundaries. This has prompted me to address in this research some preventative measures against this crime, citing Quranic texts, asking God to expand my understanding and loosen the constraints of my pen, for He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.

To proceed: I was impressed by the patience of the Prophet, the mercy sent to him, in the face of the harm inflicted upon him by his enemies. It stirred my soul and prompted my pen to trace the images of his harm at the hands of his enemies, as recorded in the Holy Qur'an. In them, the strength of the Prophet of God in confronting his enemies, no matter how great the harm, was evident, and the weakness of his enemies and their defeat before the might of truth was apparent. The importance of the topic stems from our need in this difficult circumstance to present the role model to be emulated and the example to be set, because it is the best means of performance, especially as we are subjected to aggression from our enemies. I will adopt the objective approach in presenting the topic, and this approach dictates that my research plan be divided into five sections and a conclusion, in addition to this introduction.

Letters are of great importance in understanding the meanings of sentences and phrases, depending on their position and the connotations they carry. Given their significance in grammatical analysis, grammarians have dedicated entire chapters to them, and legal theorists have devoted specific sections to them in their works.

A close examination of the reality of Muslims, especially those of knowledge and intellect, compels them to hold themselves accountable, evaluate their actions and endeavors, and assess the extent of their success in conveying their Lord's message and fulfilling the trusts placed upon them for their nation and all of humanity. They must consider the fruits they have reaped, the obstacles they have faced, the nation they have built, the ranks they have united, the seeds of good they have sown, and the injustices they have alleviated from the shoulders of the oppressed on earth, those deprived of the most basic human rights.

All of this is at the core of their mission, a responsibility they bear. They shouldered it when they chose to be callers to God and bearers of the heavenly message. They will stand before God and be questioned about all of this. All these innocent souls will be brought forth, rising up against them, demanding their rights and blaming them for their shortcomings, for failing to change the wrong they witnessed.
