يُعد جامع الفضل من الجوامع القديمة في مدينة بغداد يقع بمحلة الفضل بالجانب الشرقي وهي من المحلات القديمة ونسبة تسميتها يرجع إلى الجامع ذاته ولكن لم يُعرف تاريخ بنائه على وجه التحديد ، ومن الروايات التاريخية بأنهُ جزء من جامع الرصافة الذي يُعد من أكبر مساجد بغداد في العصر العباسي بعد تدميره بالكامل ولم يبقى منهُ إلاّ جزء عُرف بـ "جامع الفضل" ولم يكن للعبادة فقط بل توجد فيه مدرسة لتلقي مختلف العلوم فيها .

Abstract

The importance of the journey comes through its direct role in the life of a person who finds himself, from birth, forced to travel in an effort to earn his living and in search of survival and the discovery of the unknown. Thus, Andalusian and Moroccan travelers recorded multiple cases in society through their movement from one country to another, and among these cases are social diseases. While doctors were able to allocate and install some treatments for physical illnesses, social illnesses remained a negative condition among members of diverse societies without any significant treatment, so they resorted to magic and sorcery.

تأتي أهمية الرحلة من خلال دورها المباشر في حياة الأنسان الذي وجد نفسه منذ ولادته مجبوراً على الترحل سعياً وراء كسب قوته وباحثاً عن البقاء واكتشاف المجهول وبذلك فقد سجل الرحالة الأندلسيين والمغاربة حالات متعددة في المجتمع من خلال تنقلهم من بلد إلى أخر ومن ضمن هذه الحالات الأمراض الاجتماعية والبدنية وقد تمكن الأطباء من تخصيص وتثبيت بعض العلاجات للإمراض البدنية بقت الأمراض الاجتماعية تشكل حالة سلبية بين أفراد المجتمعات المتنوعة دون أي علاج يذكر فالتجأوا إلى السحر والشعوذة.

Abstract

Ulugh Beg is considered one of the most important sultans of the Timurid state, who constituted a ban on the intellectual level in the history of the Islamic East. His works and achievements in the field of astronomy had a clear impact on the advancement of this science, and they in turn became the basis for the study of astronomy in the modern era. The importance of his achievements lies in building The Samarkand Astronomical School and the Astronomical Observatory, which he wanted to be a scientific edifice and a historical witness to the progress of astronomy in his time, knowing that he was the most attached to this science by the Timurid sultans. This research is an attempt to shed light on the progress of astronomy under the Timurid state and to identify the achievements of Ulugh Beg in this field.

يعد اولوغ بيك واحد من أهم سلاطين الدولة التيمورية الذي شكل حضورا على المستوى الفكري في تاريخ المشرق الإسلامي ، وقد كان لأعماله وإنجازاته في مجال الفلك اثرها الواضح في تقدم هذا العلم ، وهي بدورها أصبحت الأساس لدراسة علوم الفلك في العصر الحديث ، تكمن أهمية إنجازاته في بناء مدرسة سمرقند الفلكية والمرصد الفلكي الذي أراده ان يكون صرحا علما وشاهدا تاريخيا على تقدم علوم الفلك في عصره علما بأنه كان أكثر سلاطين الدولة التيمورية تعلقا بهذا العلم .
هذا البحث محاولة لتسليط الضوء على تقدم علم الفلك في ظل الدولة التيمورية والوقوف على إنجازات اولوغ بيك في هذا المجال .

Ali bin Radwan is one of the most famous doctors and scholars of the scientific renaissance, which was witnessed throughout the Arab Islamic countries in the fourth century AH. He was born in the city of Giza and grew up there. He learned medicine and astronomy without a teacher, and his reliance was on medical books. He excelled in the medical profession, so the Fatimid Caliph Al-Hakim appointed him by order. God was the chief physician in his court, and Ibn Ridwan Al-Eid wrote many important works and books in various fields, the most important of which are medical science, then philosophy and astronomy, and their number reached about one hundred books.
