The aim of this study was the isolation and characterization of Klebsiella pneumonia from 160 urine samples of patients hospitalized in children hospital in AL-Ramadi Proveng during October 2006 to May 2008. Also determination of the susceptibility of K. pneumoniae against a number of antibiotics to explain resistance mechanism for these antibiotics by using interpretative reading to avoid using it in treatment. Forty two isolates were detected as K. pneumoniae with resistance to a number of antibiotics . These isolates were tested to determine their sensitivities to a wide number of antibiotics which included β-lactum group and aminoglicosides using disk diffusion method and the strain E. coli ATCC 25922, using as standard strain. The interpretative reading of the sensitivity data to β-lactamas inferred the following: Classical type of K. pneumoniae 7\\42 (16,6%), penicillinase-high level producing 6\\42(14.2), 29\\42(68.9%)ESBLs enzyme producing isolates. Then 7\\42(16.6) producing ESBLs- Ceftazidimase enzyme and 22\\42 (52.3%) ) producing ESBLs- Broad enzyme. As for aminoglicosides the interpretative reading inferred the following : Classical type of K. pneumoniae 4\\42 (9.5%) and 8\\42 (19%) producing enzymes AAC(3´)-I,11\\42(26%) producing enzymes AAC(3´)-I I,6\\42(14%) APH(3) enzymes and 5\\42 (11,9%) AAC(6´)-II enzyme further, the enzymes ANT(3) were 8\\42 (19%). The results of the present study indicated that K. pneumoniae strains had unusual resistance protocols and this high percentage of strains that produce β-lactamas enzymes in K. pneumoniae referred to wide unusual uses of antibiotics and poor control on infection in hospital.

This study included the extraction of volatile oils from the leaves of some local Eucalyptus trees (i.e.(1)E.camldulensis ,(2) E.camldulensis , E.microtheca , E.globules , E.sideroxylem , E.krusianin. by the water distillation method. As well as exploring some of their physical properties. The results of this study reveald that the local eucalyptus trees gave a good rate of volatile oil equals to some global kinds and to the rate in India pharmacopeia. Also the results revealed that there had been concurrence between the percentages of volatile oils and refractive index and specific gravity of the plants on which the study was made to study and those included in the US and UK. pharma copeias. This proves those plant , are of medical importance.

The present study was carried out to assay the bioaccumulation of ammonia ,nitrite ,nitrate in fresh water and the concentration of heavy metals (Lead, Cupper, Cadmium, Manganes and Zinc) in water and tissues of Tilapia niloticus selected from El-marryotia canal (one of the river Nile ramification in Al-Giza city) in Egypt, samples were collected during the period of July to October 2011 to determine water safety for human consumption and the hazardous effect of these metals on the histopathology of selected tissues and organs of fish. Two samples were collected from two locations of canal, pH of water samples were measured and the concentration of ammonia, nitrate and nitrite were determined in these samples. Twenty Tilapia were also collected from different locations of the canal, One gram of liver, abdominal and dorsal muscles tissue from each fish were taken for determination of lead, Cupper, Cadmium, manganese and Zinc in the selected tissues. Specimens of gills, muscles, liver, kidney and intestine from each fish were fixed in 10% buffered neutral formalin, and processed for pathological study. The results revealed that water samples polluted with ammonia, nitrite and nitrate respectively.,significant differences were recorded in concentration of Mn and Zn in both water samples. The mean concentration of Pb was 0.216±0.0108, 0.204±0.009 and Mn 0.901±0.041, 0.73±0.003 in both water samples which was above the World Health Organization safety standard, the results indicated that water were polluted with both two heavy metals. More concentration of Pb1.362±0.0657 was noted in liver of fish , concentration of Pb (1.2±0.062), Cd (0.01.2±0.062) was the highest in abdominal muscles and lowest in the remaining tissues of fish , the mean concentration of Cu (0.6.2±0.032) was higher in abdominal muscle , Mn (0.54±0.02) and Zn (1,19.2±0.054) was more concentrated in dorsal muscles and all the heavy metals studied gave results with the permissible limits in fish tissue recorded by the standards of WHO. The main histopathological changes observed were edema and sloughing of lamellar epithelia in gills of fish. In liver, it was noticed vacuolation of most hepatocytes with nuclear pyknosis . The findings in kidneys exhibited the presence of periglomerular edema and vacuolar degeneration of most of renal tubules .The fish muscle showed degeneration and edema with focal areas of necrosis of some muscle fibres.

External Morphological study of Sympetrum decoloratum Selys of family : Libellulidae from suborder Anisoptera of the order Odonata which were collected from Baghdad Governorate 2011. Such study was included : Detailed description of most body parts (Head, Thorax ,Abdomen and their appendages), with special regard to male genitalia.

The present study is undertaken to evaluate the effects of hypothyroidism induced by carbimazol in male rat reproductive system. Rats were treated with carbimazol (80 and 160 mg/kg body weight) daily for two, four, six, and eight weeks, while control rats were given distilled water orally. The results of these experiments are: 1-Treatment with carbimazol produced increase in body weight of treated animals. This increase was not statistically significant even at high concentrations. 2-Decrease in testicular weight was observed during all administration points. This decrease was aggravated proportional to duration and dose (p≤0.001). 3-Results of most intervals showed significant decrease in epididymal-head weight, while no significant decrease was observed in epididymal-tail weight. 4-Carbimazol increased seminal vesicle weight, particularly after six (P≤0.05) and eight weeks for both doses. 5-Prostates were responsive to reduce thyroid hormones by increasing its weight in a dosedependent manner.

Five fish species were collected from Tigris river at Al-Adhamiyah region, Baghdad during the period from September to December 2011. These fishes were examined for ectoparasites. They were infected with 13 species of parasites which included one species of ciliated protozoans and 12 species of monogeneans. Among such parasites, Ligophorus imitans Euzet et Suriano, 1977 is reported for the first time in Iraq. In addition, eight new host records in Iraq were reported in the present study.

This study documented the role of blowfly Chrysomya albiceps and Chrysomya megacephala as carriers of 15 species of intestinal parasites eggs, cysts and Oocysts as a primary effort of Iraq, by external and internal techniques: 10 species of different parasites were reported in this study that transmitted mechanically by Calliphoridae fly ,eight of them are nematode eggs (Ancylostoma duodenal, Ascaridia sp., Ascaris lumbricoides, Parascaris equirum, Strongyloides stericoralis , Strongylus sp., Trichostrongylus sp. and Toxocara canis)and cysts of two species of protozoa ( Entamoba sp.and Iodomaba butschlii). Internal technique by stained the fluid gut of flies with Zael Nelson stain, was applied for 257 fly, three species of nematode eggs (Ascaris lumriciodes, Strongyloides stericoralis and Trichuris sp.); one species of cestode eggs (Taenia sp.) and three species of protozoa Oocysts (Cryptosporidium parvum, C. muris, and Cyclospora cayetanensis), were showed internally. This variety of parasites referred to wide distribution of these flies in Baghdad that risk for public health

One hundred and twenty eight currency notes samples 250, 500, and 1000 Iraqi Dinars (ID) values were collected from students, markets, banks, and hospitals in Erbil city , Iraq. The results showed that all collected samples were contaminated with one or more bacteria and fungi species representing 100% contamination and none from the new (control) notes. Seventeen bacterial species and twelve fungal species were isolated, which include Staphylococcus aureus (83.3%), Streptococcus pyogenes (83.3%), Pseudomonas species (83.3%), Aspergillus niger (83.3%), Klebsiella species (75%), Staphylococcus epidermidis (66.6%), and Escherichia coli (66.6%) being the most prevalent. The lower values of currency notes (250 ID and 500 ID ) were highly contaminated

This experiment was conducted in field of Agricultured Department Baquba/Diyala province in spring season 2011 to study the water stress by using foliar application concentrations of each Proline acid and Abscisic acid on proline content , ABA content , chlorophyll content, protein conten and water content in leaves of Maize( cultivar, Buhooth 106). The layout of the experiments was Split- split plot design as RCBD with three replicates. The three concentrations of spraying Proline acid levels ( 0 , 150 , 200 mg Proline .l-1 ) Three Abscisic acid levels ( 0 , 15 , 20 mgABA.l-1. ) and three periods of irrigation after(25, 50, 75%) of available water . Folair fertilizer were applied at three time during of plant growth. Results drawn from these experiments are summarized as follows: The therd level of Proline acid sprayed 200 mg Proline .l-1 ) decreased the negative effects of moisture tension on proline content , chlorophyll content, protein conten and water content in leaves as compared with the both of control and the second level (150 mg Proline.l-1. ) . The therd level of Proline acid sprayed ( 20 mgABA.l-1.) decreased the negative effects of moisture tension on proline content, ABA content and water content in leaves as compared with the control . Also the most of characters were significantly influenced by interaction between moisture levels x Proline acid and Abscisic acid concentrations.

The current study included collection for many fresh specimens, the observation of specimens in some Iraqi herbaria have been studied, although morphological characters of roots, stems, flowers, inflorescences and fruits were included in this work, however indumentums and pollen grains were studied

In this study, light elements for 13C , 16O for (α,n) and (n,α) reactions as well as α-particle energy from 2.7 MeV to 3.08 MeV are used as far as the data of reaction cross sections are available. The more recent cross sections data of (α,n) and (n,α) reactions are reproduced in fine steps 0.02 MeV for 16O (n,α) 13C in the specified energy range, as well as cross section (α,n) values were derived from the published data of (n,α) as a function of α-energy in the same fine energy steps by using the principle inverse reactions. This calculation involves only the ground state of 13C , 16O in the reactions 13C (α,n) 16O and 16O (n,α) 13C.

In this paper, Mann-Kendall test was used to investigate the existence of possible deterministic and stochastic climatic trends in (Baghdad,Basrah,Mosul,Al-Qaim) stations. The statistical test was applied to annual monthly mean of temperatures for the period (19932009). The values of S-statistic were (62, 44, 52, 64) by comparing these values with the table of null probability values for S we get a probability of (0.002, 0.026, 0.010, 0.002) this result is less than α for the 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) indicating a significant result at this level of confidence. Concluded that an increasing trend in concentration is present at the 95% confidence level and the variance of the S-statistic is calculated and it is compared to the table of null probability values for Z and our conclusion reject the null, there is an increasing of trend.

In this paper we study the effect of adding Zinc Oxide powder (ZnO) at different ratios (10%,20%,30%,40%,50%) as particles and organic dyes rhodamine B(RhB), rohdamine 6G(Rh6G) and eosin(EO) are added at different doping ratios to polystyrene (PS), to form photosensitized(PS/ZnO/dye) composites, for samples were prepared as films by spin method. Photoconductive properties are investigated. For I-V characteristic measurements, the photocurrent (Iph) and dark current (Id) are generally increased in non linear behavior with increasing light intensity and applied voltage for all composites. The photocurrent goes decrease through its maximum value at high white light intensities or high voltage for 2.4*10-5mol/l RhB/A composites where A=0.06g PS+0.18g ZnO, while the dark current remains nearly constant.

Quantum gates which are represented by unitary matrices have potentials to implement the reversible logic circuits. M and M+ gates are two well-known quantum gates which are used to synthesize the reversible logic circuits. In this work, we have used behavioral description of these gates, instead of unitary matrix description, to synthesize reversible logic circuits. By this method, M and M+ gates are shown in the truth table form.

Zinc oxide (ZnO) transparent thin films with different oxygen flow rates (0.5, 1.0, and 1.5)Litter/min. were prepared by thermal evaporation technique on glass substrate at a temperature of 200℃ with rate (10±2)nm sec-1, The crystallinity and structure of these films were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). It exhibits a polycrystalline hexagonal wurtzite structure and the preferred orientation along (002) plane. The Optical properties of ZnO were determined through the optical transmission method using ulta violet–Visible spectrophotometer with in wave length (300-1100)nm. The optical transmittance of the ZnO films increases from 75% to 85% with increase flow rate of O2, and the optical band gap of ZnO films was found to be increased from (3.0) eV to (3.2) eV with increase flow rate of oxygen.The refractive index of ZnO flims increased from (1.1) to (1.27) with increase flow rate of O2 .

Computer theoretical study has been carried out on the design of five electrode immersion electrostatic lens used in electron gun application. The finite element method (FEM) is used in the solution of the Poisson's equation fro determine axial potential distribution, the electron trajectory under Zero magnification condition . The optical properties : focal length ,spherical and chromatic aberrations are calculated,From studying the properties of the designed electron gun. we have good futures for these electron gun where are abeam current 4*10-4A can be supplied by using cathode tip of radius 100 nm.

Hetero junctions are fabricated by depositing antimony (Sb) and Al films on n-type single crystal(c-Si) wafers by the method of vacuum evaporation with thickness (0.25µm), with rate of deposition equals to 2.77 Å/sec, all samples are annealed in a vacuum for one hour at 473K. The tests have shown that all the films have polycrystalline structure for all Sb films. The barrier heights in (Sb/c-Si) junction was found to be equal 0.825eV, but(Al/c-Si) junction ohmic contact. Current-voltage measurements confirm this behaviour.

In this research the Cobalt Oxide (Co3O4) films are prepared by the method of chemical spray pyrolysis deposition at different thicknesses such that (250, 350, 450, and 550) ± 20 nm. The optical measurement shows that the Co3O4 films have a direct energy gap, and they in general increase with the increase of the thickness. The optical constants are investigated and calculated such as absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient and the dielectric constants for the wavelengths in the range (300-900) nm. The electrical conductivity (σ) and the activation energies (Ea1, Ea2) have been investigated on (Co3O4) thin films as a function of thickness. The films contain two types of transport mechanisms, and the electrical conductivity (σ) increases whereas the activation energy (Ea) would decrease as the films thickness increases.

Theoretical study computerized has been carried out in field electron optics , to design electrostatic unipotential lens , the inverse problem is important method in the design of electrostatic lenses by suggesting an axial electrostatic potential distribution using polynomial function. The paraxial –ray equation is solved to obtain the trajectory particles that satisfy the suggested potential function. In this research , design electrostatic unipotential lens three-electrode accelerating and decelerating L=5 mm operated under finite and infinite magnification conditions. The electrode shape of the electrostatic lens was then determined from the solution of the Laplace's equation's. the results showed low values of spherical and chromatic aberrations which are considered as good criteria for good design. `

This research studies the effect of grain size for the final stage in sintering Al2O3 .The experimental results for α- Al2O3 powder are modeled using ( L2-Regression ) technique in order to study the effect grain size distribution on densification rate using four kinds for the initial particle size which were ( 1.44 , 2.54 , 0.7-2.54 ,1.15-3.53 ) µm , and for sintering time (0-241) min. The mathematical simulation for grain size changing shows that the densification rates boots up as the grain size goes lower, this was due to the increase of contact area between the grains.

This research studies Reinforcing and applied load of Wear Rate for Epoxy composites contains from epoxy resin (Ep) as a matrix material and reinforced by Gawain red wood flour , Russian white wood flour , glass powder and rock wool fibers , with volume fraction (20%) for all samples in lab conditions. by using the load (10,20 ,30 ,40) Newton of iron disc for testing time(10) minute, and the results have shown that the reinforcing of epoxy resin led to decrease wear rate for all samples except the hybrid composites reinforced earth glass powder , that the wear rate values decrease from (22×10-9g/cm) to (4×10-9g/cm) of composite material(Ep+R.W.F) and thus(Ep+W.W.F) at last(Ep+R.W+R.W.F+W.W.F) , but the applied load increase led to increose wear rate for all samples .

5-(mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2yl)α,α-(diphenyl)methanol have been synthesized by ring closer of potassium xanthate[which have been prepared by reaction of benzilic acid hydrazide with carbon disulphide in potassium hydroxide] using conc.sulphuric acid at (0-5)°C scheme(I). Their characterization was carried out from T.L.C, M.P, FT.IR and 1H-NMR.

N-Pyridin-2-ylmethyl-benzene-1,2-diamine (L) was prepared from the reaction of ortho amino phenyl thiol with 2 – amino methyl pyridine in mole ratio (1:1) . It was characterized by elemental analysis (C.H.N) , FT-IR , Uv – Vis , 1H , 13C-N.M.R . The complexes of the bivalent ions (Co , Ni , Cu ,Pd , Cd , Hg and Pb) and the trivalent (Cr) have been prepared and characterized too . The structural was established by elemental analysis (C.H.N) , FT-IR , Uv – Vis spectra , conductivity measurements , atomic absorption and magnetic susceptibility . The complexes showed characteristic behavior of octahedral geometry around the metal ions and the (N,N,N) ligand coordinated in tridentat mode except with Pd complexes showed sequare planer . α ,Kf,εmax for the complexes were estimated too. β for Co – complex was calculated . The study of biological activity of the ligand (L) and its complexes showed various activity toward staphylococcus aureus and E.coli.

This work involves synthesis of novel Schiff bases derivatives contining isoxazoline or pyrazoline units starting with chalcons . 4-Aminoacetophenone was reacted with 3-nitrobenzaldehyde in basic medium giving chalcone [I] by claisen-schemidt reaction. The chalcone [I] was reacted with hydroxylamine hydrochloride giving isoxazoline [II] in basic medium. The chalcone [I] could also react with hydrazitne hydrate to give pyrazoline [III] . The novel Schiff bases with structural formula [IV] and [V] were prepared by the reaction of amino compounds ; isoxazoline [II] and pyrazolines [III] with p-substituted aldehydes or p-subsituted ketones, respectively in dry benzene using drops of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst with reflux. All the synthesized compounds have been characterized by melting points , FTIR and 1HMNR (of some of theme) spectroscopy. The biological activity of all compounds was examined against antibacterial ; gram(+) and gram(-).

The adsorption of Ru and Ce were carried out using manganese dioxide as adsorbent. The Optimization of the adsorption conditions were studied as a function of shaking time, nitric acid, metal ions, concentrations and temperature effects. A rapid initial adsorption on MnO2 is followed by a steady and slow increase of metal uptake. The equilibration time is reached after four hours shaking for Ru and Ce and the adsorption is much better from one molar acidic solution and 90°C.

A new ligand [N-(acetyl amino) thioxomethyl] valine was prepared from the reaction of acetyl iso thiocyanate with valine. The ligand was characterized by FT-IR, UV- vis and 1HNMR spectrum, The complexes with some metal ions (M +2 =Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd,Hg) have been prepared and characterized. The structural diagnosis were established by IR,UV-Vis spectrum, flame atomic absorption spectroscopy conductivity and magnetic susceptibility ,the complexes showed tetrahedral geometry around the metal l.

The trace elements in the medical herbs play an important role in the treatment of diseases. Well selected herbs samples of Iraqi herbs and collected from local markets. In this study, the concentrations of nine elements Na,K, Zn, Fe ,Co ,Cu ,Ni , Pb and Cd were determined in fourteen kinds herbs common belonging to Matricaria Chamomile Cinnamon,Pimpinella Anisum L., Zea Maize , Anethum Graveolens L., Jeft, Teucrium Polium L., Cagsia Italica,Echium Talicum L.,Ocimum Basilcum L., Galeopsis Sejetum,Nigella Sative L., Cyperus Rotundus L.,Lupinus Jaimehintoniana.The herbs samples were analysed by flameless except Na,K, in flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer in different medical herbs.The results indicated that the Na and K elements recorded the high concentrations, while the Co element recorded the low concentration in all herbs samples.

Some new mono isoimides of asymmetrical pyromillitdiimide derived from pyromellitic dianhydride were synthesized and studied by their melting points , FTIR , and 1HNMR spectroscopy and C.H.N analysis (for some of them) and it was proved that the mechanism of the formation of these isoimides followed , the mechanism suggested by Cotter et al . by using N, N─- dicyclohexylcarbodiimide as dehydrating agent , in spite of the groups attached to the phenyl moiety as mentioned in literatures .

This study describes the determination of some phenols in four different zones of Tigris river in Iraq including, AL-Krieat, AL-Kadhimiya, AL-Jadiriyah, and AL-Adhamiyah. The phenolic compounds analyzed were (2,3-dimethylphenol, 4-chlorophenol, 3-nitrophenol and 2,4-dinitrophenol) using reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RPHPLC) with a UV detector on ODS-C18 column(150×4.6 mm I.D) and a mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(30:70)%(v/v) at pH 5.0, and a column temperature at 30C° with 20 µL injection. UV detection helps to identify different phenols at wave length at 280 nm with a flow rate at 0.5 ml/min. The separation time was (< 6) min.The results indicated that the AL-Adhamiyah zone contains the highest concentration of 3-nitrophenol (0.094 µg/mL), while the AL-Jadiriyah zone recorded the lowest concentration of 3-nitrophenol (0.056 µg/mL).On the other hand the other phenolic compounds studied did not record any concentration in four zones of Tigris river. The values of correlation coefficient and accuracy were calculated for 3-nitrophenol, the graph was linear with very good correlation coefficient (R2>0.9999).

The purpose of this work is to study the classification and construction of (k,3)-arcs in the projective plane PG(2,7). We found that there are two (5,3)-arcs, four (6,3)-arcs, six (7,3)arcs, six (8,3)-arcs, seven (9,3)-arcs, six (10,3)-arcs and six (11,3)-arcs. All of these arcs are incomplete. The number of distinct (12,3)-arcs are six, two of them are complete. There are four distinct (13,3)-arcs, two of them are complete and one (14,3)-arc which is incomplete. There exists one complete (15,3)-arc.

In this work, we construct and classify the projectively distinct (k,3)-arcs in PG(2,9), where k ≥ 5, and prove that the complete (k,3)-arcs do not exist, where 5 ≤ k ≤ 13. We found that the maximum complete (k,3)-arc in PG(2,q) is the (16,3)-arc and the minimum complete (k,3)-arc in PG(2,q) is the (14,3)-arc. Moreover, we found the complete (k,3)-arcs between them.

The aim of this paper, is to discuss several high performance training algorithms fall into two main categories. The first category uses heuristic techniques, which were developed from an analysis of the performance of the standard gradient descent algorithm. The second category of fast algorithms uses standard numerical optimization techniques such as: quasi-Newton . Other aim is to solve the drawbacks related with these training algorithms and propose an efficient training algorithm for FFNN

The aim of this paper is to present a method for solving high order ordinary differential equations with two point\'s boundary condition, we propose semi-analytic technique using two-point oscillatory interpolation to construct polynomial solution. The original problem is concerned using two-point oscillatory interpolation with the fit equal numbers of derivatives at the end points of an interval [0 , 1] . Also, many examples are presented to demonstrate the applicability, accuracy and efficiency of the method by comparing with conventional methods.

The fuzzy sets theory has been applied in many fields, such as operations research, control theory and management sciences, etc. In particular, an application of this theory in decision making problem is linear programming problems with fuzzy technological coefficients numbers, as well as studying the parametric linear programming problems in the case of changes in the objective function. In this paper presenting a new procedure which connects and makes link between fuzzy linear programming problem with fuzzy technological coefficients numbers and parametric linear programming problem with change in coefficients of the objective function, then develop a numerical example illustrates the steps of solution to this kind of problems.

In this paper we introduce many different Methods of ridge regression to solve multicollinearity problem in linear regression model. These Methods include two types of ordinary ridge regression (ORR1), (ORR2) according to the choice of ridge parameter as well as generalized ridge regression (GRR). These methods were applied on a dataset suffers from a high degree of multicollinearity, then according to the criterion of mean square error (MSE) and coefficient of determination (R2) it was found that (GRR) method performs better than the other two methods.

In this paper, we use the repeated corrected Simpson's 3/8 quadrature method for obtaining the numerical solutions of Fredholm linear integral equations of the second kind. This method is more accurately than the repeated corrected Trapezoidal method and the repeated Simpson's 3/8 method. To illustrate the accuracy of this method, we give a numerical example

In this paper, two biometric recognition technologies are analyzed and compared, which are the iris and sound recognition techniques. The iris recognition technique recognizes persons by analyzing the main patterns in the iris structure, while the sound recognition technique identifies individuals depending on their unique voice characteristics or as called voice print. The comparison results show that the resultant average accuracies of the iris technique and voice technique are 99.83% and 98%, respectively. Thus, the iris recognition technique provides higher accuracy and security than the voice recognition technique

The research tackled to solve Sudoku grid problem 9 ×9 , one of artificial intelligence problems. This problem has many of solutions in search space to generate Sudoku grid by using magic square of odd order as 3. This research concludes solution by proposed heuristic algorithm from magic square of odd order as 3 and no given numbers (from 1 to 9) in each cell of nine Sudoku grid cells in starting of problem solution, this is not similar the solution in old classic methods to generate all sub grids in Sudoku grid. The experimental results in this paper show the easily implementation to solve the problem to manage without manual method, additional to position of numbers (1, 2,..9) in center of each sub grid in Sudoku grid (the second element from second row and second column), and without duplicate each of sub grid in arranging of numbers. A program is written in MATLAB 6.5 language to simulate the proposed algorithm.

Accuracy in multiple objects segmentation using geometric deformable models sometimes is not achieved for reasons relating to a number of parameters. In this research, we will study the effect of changing the parameters values on the work of the geometric deformable model and define their efficient values, as well as finding out the relations that link these parameters with each other, by depending on different case studies including multiple objects different in spacing, colors, and illumination. For specific ranges of parameters values the segmentation results are found good, where the success of the work of geometric deformable models has been limited within certain limits to the values of these parameters.
