Abstract
In this study fulfilled, prediction of fatigue life for alloy steel (CK45) at the several cases:
As received after shot peening after immersed in 36% Mgcl2, 30 day shot peening for specimens after corrosion.
All tests carried out under constant amplitude load, rotating bending at stress ratio (R = -1) and room temperature.
The following conclusions are obtained:
The fatigue strength increased 11% with shot penning process The fatigue strength decreased 18% after corrosion in corrosive medium The fatigue strength increased 14% with shot penning process after immersed in corrosive medium.
