The Arapkha Journal of Historical, Archaeological, and Anthropological Studies is a peer-reviewed, quarterly academic journal dedicated to publishing rigorous research and studies in the fields of history, archaeology, and anthropology. Published by the College of Basic Education at Kirkuk University, it contributes to supporting scientific and research advancements and enriching human knowledge, particularly studies related to the history and civilizations of Iraq and the ancient Near East. Journal Scope

The journal\'s scope is dedicated to publishing original scientific research and studies in the fields of history, archaeology, and anthropology. This scope includes: ancient, Islamic, modern, and contemporary history; the history of the ancient Near East and world civilizations; archaeological studies, field excavations, and heritage preservation; cultural and social anthropology and studies of identity and society; the study of historical documents and manuscripts; tangible and intangible cultural heritage; and interdisciplinary studies related to history, archaeology, and anthropology.

Open Access Policy

The journal Arabkha adopts an open access policy, believing in the importance of making scientific knowledge available to researchers and interested parties without restrictions. This contributes to enhancing scientific exchange and disseminating academic output widely. The journal makes all published research available free of charge and immediately through its website, without imposing any fees for reading, downloading, or viewing, while researchers retain their intellectual property rights in accordance with the approved publishing guidelines.

The research and studies published in the journal are subject to a copyright policy that protects the intellectual property rights of both the authors and the journal, in accordance with academic standards and the ethics of scientific publishing. The policy stipulates the following: Researchers retain the intellectual and literary rights to their published scientific works. Authors grant the journal the right to publish the research electronically and in print after its acceptance for publication. Submitted research must be original and not previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
