Abstract

This study aimed to compare the survival time of patients with lung cancer and patients with stomach cancer. A random sample of 30 observations was drawn from the records of patients who were admitted to a private nursing home during the period from 6/1/1999 to 12/31/1999. It was found that the data of each group of patients followed an exponential distribution using the Nelson test.
