The most commonly used plant namely Malva neglecta (family Malvaceae) was brought under study after observing their medicinal values. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the antibacterial activity of Malva neglecta Wallr against (Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Klebsiella pneumonia, pseudomonas aerginosa and Bacillus cerus) and to determine the antifungal activity of these plants against the fungi (Aspergillus niger, Fusarium solani). The study showed that the Malva neglecta have potent activity against tested bacterial species and fungal species. The plant showed best activity against most of the bacterial and fungal strains, therefore these plant can be used to treat different microbial disease and infections.

The aim of this case-control comparative study is to analyze the risk of anemia during pregnancy on the health of both mother and fetus. Seven hundred-fifty pregnant women admitted in labor were included who were divided into three hundred fifty (350) as anemic group and four hundred (400) as non-anemic group. Among the anemic group 57.1% had iron deficiency type and 54% of anemic group had mild anemia. Low social class and lack of attendance to A.N.C. clinics were the major predisposing factors in anemic group as 48.6% were of low social class and 37.7% were not attended antenatal care clinics. This study revealed that anemic group was more risky to have pre-eclampsia 15.7%, post-partum hemorrhage 16.8% and ante-partum hemorrhage 11.7%. Anemic women had higher cesarean section rate 40.9% mainly due to fetal distress 26.7% and ante-partum hemorrhage 23.8%. Intra-uterine death 4.8%, preterm delivery 15.4% and intra-uterine growth retardation 2% were the frequent fetal complications among anemic group with highly significant difference. Newborn of anemic women tend to have lower birth weight, low Apgar score with more admission to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit 29.1%. In conclusion anemia was still the common medical health problem among pregnant women in Basra society which carry high risk to both maternal and fetal health.

This study had been conducted to detecte the existence of citrus nematode Tylenchulus semipenetrans in Wasit province, and to evaluate the effect of three biocontrol agents (T.harzianum, T.hamatum, Paecilomyces lilacinus) on larvae and eggs of this nematode in laboratory. The results of the existence of nematode in the areas of study shown significant variation between the studied areas and the highest population of larvae and females were recorded in Al-ssaouira district, where the number of larvae was 8.5 larva/250 g soil and 54.6 Female / 1 g of roots and the lower population was recorded in the AL-Muwafaqiya district which were 2.47 larva/250 g soil and 33.6 female/1g roots. The results also revealed that all bioagentsare effective in parasitizing the eggs and the more effective one is T.hamatum where the percent of parasitism was 85.49%. Field Experiment revealed the capacity of all tested fungi in reducing the population of nematode larvae in treated soil compared with non treated soil and the highest percent of reduction recorded in the case of Trichoderma harzianum which was 76.9% compared with the control 28.2%.

The aim of this work is to explain the behavior of quarks state confinement, and asymptotic freedom depending on the quantum chromodynamic theory QCD . The photons emission are very important tool to probing the quark gluon interaction at nuclear collisions for high energy. The effective coupling constant have been estimated using a first leading approximation for renormalization equation .The effective coupling constant αesc(Peff) estimated as a function of effective transfer momentum and temperature. The critical properties have been studied depending on the QCD theory to analysis the asymptotic freedom and confinement behavior at high temperatures. This properties is tested with results of the QCD theory.

In the present research, two trials were conducted to investigate the potential protective effects of multi-strain probiotic bacteria in broiler chickens experimentally infected with Eimeria brunetti or Eimeria mivati. In the present study, we examined oocysts shedding; antibody immune responses and histopathology differences of broilers fed the commercial probiotic Poultry Star Me (PSM). Day-old Ross 308 broiler chicks were fed either a regular broiler diet or one of two probiotic diets supplemented with 0.1% PSM or 0.2% PSM. Chicks were orally challenged with 5000 or 10000 sporulated oocysts of Eimeria brunetti or with 5000 Eimeria mivati oocysts on day 10 or 12 of age, respectively. In Eimeria brunette and Eimeria mivati-infected birds, the PSM 0.1% group showed reduction in oocyst shedding in birds infected with 5000 Eimeria oocysts as compared with the other two groups. In Eimeria mivati-infected birds, Eimeria-0.05) in the PSM fed groups, especially in the PSM 0.1% birds, compared with the regular diet group. These results demonstrate that this PSM probiotic effectively enhances the immune resistance of birds and protects against the negative growth effects associated with coccidiosis (Eimeria infestation), particularly when supplemented at 0.1% PSM of the diet. Histopathology changes revealed normal architecture and greater vilus height was obtained in ileum with the use of PSM in relation to the control group. Multi-strain probiotic bacteria interfere with the pathogen binding sites and produce antimicrobial peptides and induce host immune responses especially mucosal surfaces immunity, thus enhancing resistance against enteric intestinal pathogens like Eimeria spp.

The chemical constituents of the secondary metabolic products of plants have important role in the discovery of therapeutically effective compounds. Hibiscus sabdariffa L. is widely utilized in herbal medicine for treatment and prevention of several diseases, the objective of this study is the Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of the phenolic extracts of the plants. High Performance Liquid Chromatography Techniques (HPLC) were used in the study, the result showed that the phenolic extracts of the plant composed of crud phenols ( 16%), crud alkaloid (8%), and crud terpens (5%). The HPLC identification of the extract indicates the presence of ( 7 ) compounds for phenolic extracts ; Vitamin C (443.39 μg/ml), Gossypetrin (289.52 μg/ml), Sabdaretin(222.61 μg/ml), Gossypetin (712.24 μg/ml ), Chlorogenic acid (657.22 μg/ml), Coumaric A (432.22 μg/ml ), and Hebiscetin (336.46 μg/ml). The highest phenolic compounds concentration was Gossypetin (712.24 μg/ml), while the lowest was Sabdaretin (222.61 μg/ml). The conclusion is that, the phenolic extract of the plant has many phytochemical and pharmacological components.

The dimethoate is considered as one of most important organophosphorus pesticides that vastly used in agriculture in many countries especially in Iraq which caused different diseases in plants, animals and man. In present study we investigated the histopathological and hematological changes in rabbits resulting from chronic dimethoate intoxication. The treated groups (G2, G3 and G4) received dimethoate orally (10, 25 and 50 mg/kg of B.W.) respectively for two months while the control group (G1) was given water for the same period. The hematological results showed significant decrease in red blood cells counts and hemoglobin values (P< 0.05) in treated groups especially G3 and G4 compared to G1 control group. While the total W.B.Cs counts showed variables values without significant differences between treated groups and control group. The histopathological lesions in organs are dose concerning and include mild hepatocellular degeneration and hepatic necrosis ,hemorrhage with extensive periportal fibrosis, chronic inflammatory cells infiltrations mainly lymphocytes and macrophages in addition to liver fibrosis and cirrhosis and biliary hyperplasia with cholangitis occurred only with toxic doses of dimethoate especially G4, also there degenerative changes and necrosis in kidney and heart, hemosiderosis and hemorrhage with lymphoid depletion in spleen , In brain, there is extensive demyelination and perineruonal edema and perivascular leukocytes cuffing and extensive focal gliosis and the lungs showed congestion with thickened alveolar walls because of slight infiltrations of inflammatory cells mainly lymphocytes and macrophages also there is severe pulmonary hemorrhage and edema with severe emphysematous area and atelectasis in pulmonary tissue. It was concluded that dimethoate induces different histopathological lesions in different organs in rabbits especially in liver which causes hepatocellular degeneration, biliary hyperplasia and cholangitis with hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis and causes significant decrease in red blood cells counts and hemoglobin values in treated groups compared to the control.

A survey to detect of E. coli O157:H7 recovered from food by multiplex PCR was carried out in Wasit province (Iraq) during the period from September 2015 up to February 2016. (120) samples (40 beef, 40 raw milk and 40 chicken meat) were collected from local markets. The incidence of E.coli 0157:H7 were nineteen (15.8%) : nine (22.5%) beef , seven (17.5%)raw milk and three (7.5%)chicken meat. The present study was carried out to detect the presence of stx2, and eae genes in the recovered strains by multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction ,The amplified fragments by PCR revealed that 11 out of 19 (57..9%) E. coli O157:H7 isolates from (7) beef and (4) chicken meat had stx2 , while 8 out of 19 (42.1%) E. coli O157:H7 isolates from (2)beef, (3) chicken meat , and (3) raw milk had eaeA gene. There was statistically significant difference (P< 0.0 5) in prevalence of E.coli O157:H7 between the three types of samples. The median counts of E.coli O157:H7 was 1.6x106 CFU/g in beef ,5.9x105CFU/ml in raw milk and 2.4x103CFU/g in chicken meat. There was statistically significant difference (P< 0.0 5) in E.coli O157:H7 counts between the three types of sample. The median counts of aerobic plate count (APC) in beef , raw milk and chicken meat are 3.4x106 CFU/g, 3.1x106 CFU/ml 2.1x106 CFU/g, respectively. The results of Statistical analysis showed no significant differences(P>0.05) in (APC)count between the three types of food. The results of this study showed that meat and milk are a significant source for foodborn disease that concerns the public health in waist province.

A cellular mobile radio technology has become an important part of our everyday life as it provides a convenient communication services during user’s mobility. These facilities result in increasing the user numbers of this technology at an extra ordinary rates. Widespread usage of cellular mobile communication systems has generated public concern about the possible environmental, and health effects of human exposure to electromagnetic energy emitted by base stations and cellular phones as an amount of this energy is absorbed by the human body which works as an efficient receiving antenna.
This paper discusses the probable health effects of cellular mobile system emissions, and presents two proposed methods to calculate the time of the safe usage of the mobile phones that operate under the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM).

TiO2 films were fabricated by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) on glass substrates. XRD and AFM were used to study structural and surface morphology. XRD chart revelled steady increments of the intensity of the main peak of TiO2 of the films with the increase of laser power. The piratical sizes of the film were 43.10nm. The Atomic Force Microscope images show that surface roughness of the films was improved with the increase of laser energy. These results propose the possibility to enhance the structural properties of the TiO2 films and also it is possible to obtain high quality TiO2 film by variation of power laser.

The derivative of five member heterocyclic ligand containing imidazole rings 4-bromo-2-(4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl) phenol [Br-HPI] and their complex with Fe(III) are reported. This ligand was characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The solid complex was characterized by IR spectra, molar conductivity and magnetic moment. The results suggest that the metal is bonded to the ligand through the phenolic oxygen and the pyridine nitrogen forming chelates with (1:2) (metal: ligand) stoichiometry, and the octahedral geometry for the complex. The complex has photolysis by novel method that using UV. cell to synthesis α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles. The nanoparticles have been indicate by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), with average particles size in the range 11 to 25 nm. The α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles have been applied a photo anode to fabrication dye solar cell (ITO\α-Fe2O3 Nps\rodamine 6G dye\Ag nanofilme\ITO) with energy efficiency conversion about 2.5 %.

In this advanced technological age, most health care center need the management programs as an alternative to the books , notebooks and writing patient evidence by the employee in the management of health care center as in the past . the use of a program to manage the health care center helps to get rid of the problems that come when writing in the books to end the exposure of these books for damage and loss .Vaccinations are important for children. All mothers are required to give their children vaccinations on time to avoid serious diseases .Manually tracking to the Vaccinations schedules for all babies can be nearly impossible, causing missed opportunities to schedule babies in need of vaccinations. This paper eliminates this problem by automating vaccinations tracking through the database to alert parents about Vaccinations schedules , thus leading to a healthy society free of these infectious diseases and the epidemics that cause them

Study targeted to clarification the microscopic features of the esophagus structure in (white breasted kingfisher) bird Halcyon smyrnensis, which is primarily piscivorous, through studying of various histological modifications such as relative development of mucosal folds, mucous-secreting glands and musculature have been shown to be correlated with the specific feeding habits of studying bird. Histological study was conducted on ten adult healthy birds during the period from March to May of 2016 in the Animal House of the College of Science / University of Wasit. The results showed that the esophagus kingfisher birds characterized as a thin flexible muscular tube. The most important characteristic of the installation of the esophagus in a bird Kingfisher histologically that the wall of the esophagus found to be composed of only three layers or tunics: mucous, muscular and adventitious arranged from the inside to outside, referring to the absence of tunica submucosa. Microscopic observation of first mucosal layer of esophageal wall showed that it was consists of lamina propria, epithelia and groups of longitudinal folds without discrimination for presence of muscularis mucosae. Mucosal layer of esophagus wall lined by epithelium of non- keratinized stratified squamous epithelium tissue. Lamina propria noticed to compose of numerous mucous esophageal glands. The histological study of esophageal wall also indicated to the absence of submucosa layer because the difficulty to distinguish from the lamina propria. The second tunica tunica a muscularis externa composed of smooth muscle fibers arranged into two secondary layers, inner circular layer and an outer longitudinal layer. In addition to the mentioned tunics it's found a third layer surrounding the muscularis externa consisted of nerve fibers, and fatty cells known adventitia.
