Perhaps this phenomenon may constitute an obstacle to non-native speakers of the language or even the native speakers themselves. The Arabic language is full of these expressions, Which needs us to dedicate its own studies to it so that we can collect it in a dictionary that includes and collects it with explanation and interpretation of its semantics, grammatical structures and linguistic origins, and as we know words are templates of meanings and their containers, but the idiomatic expression does not stop its meaning at the apparent meaning of the word, rather it transcends it to a meaning resulting from the joining of words to each other. The expression is based on a group of words linked by semantic and synthetic factors from which a new semantic unit arises. It makes the language an integrated body, not separate members; It enriches the writer’s style by using words that give the intended meaning without the need for elaboration. Rather, it may give the sentence a greater impact than its impact when used in its lexical connotation. It also reduces syntactic errors in the syntax of the sentence, as this expression is a verbal template in which no change occurs, and it also contributes to understanding the structures of the sentence. The language and its characteristics, and gives a cultural background through these expressions and how to express situations with those words, and here lies the importance of this study.
