Abstract

Oil service contracts governing oil investment under Iraq's oil licensing rounds are technically complex contracts, and this has also been reflected in their legal regulation. They require time and effort from negotiators during the contract conclusion phase to reach the final agreement, as the process of concluding oil service contracts and preparing and paving the way for concluding the oil service contract represents a significant milestone.

Abstract

The organization of the executive authority, in terms of its composition and stability, enables it to perform its functions. The French Constitution of 1958 emphasized the independence of the position of the President of the Republic vis-à-vis Parliament, political parties, and their diversity. It also guaranteed the independence of the formation of the cabinet, as the head of state enjoys broad authority to select the prime minister, even if he or she is not from Parliament. The cabinet does not require a vote of confidence to begin its work.
