Abstract
Modern linguistic studies have concluded that communication and understanding between speakers are not achieved through single words, or isolated from the situations in which speech occurs; the linguistic term is too weak to be an independent unit; because receiving the language in this way is not possible, but the position of the word among a group of words connected to it semantically will be more useful in understanding the meaning of the word; the most important problem in language is how to reach the meaning accurately and understandably when performing the communication process; and the speaker usually searches for an appropriate way that presents the language to him clearly and correctly, to reach the meaning.

Abstract
انتهت الدراسات اللسانية الحديثة إلى نتائج موضوعية حاسمة فيما يتعلّق بالتخاطب والتواصل والتفاهم بين أبناء البيئة اللغوية المعيّنة، وأنّ ذلك لا يكون بكلمات مفردة، أو منعزلة عن المواقف التي يجري فيها الكلام؛ فالمفردة اللغوية أضعف من أن تكون وحدة مستقلة؛ لأنّ تلقي اللغة بهذه الطريقة غير ممكنٌ، لكنّ موقع الكلمة بين مجموعة كلمات متصلة بها دلاليًا سيكون أجدى في فهم معنى الكلمة؛ فالمشكل الأهم في اللغة هو كيفية الوصول إلى المعنى بشكل دقيق ومفهوم عند أداء عملية التخاطب؛ والمتكلّم عادة ما يبحث عن طريقة مناسبة تقدم له اللغة بشكل واضح وسليم، للوصول إلى المعنى.
