About
The Mustansiriyah Journal of Materials Engineering and Sustainability (MJMES) is an open-access international journal published by the College of Engineering, Mustansiriyah University, and it is dedicated to research, innovation, and development in materials engineering. The journal follows the regulations and standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq and covers a wide range of topics. This includes but is not limited to developing advanced and smart materials, novel composite and polymeric materials, ceramic materials and their applications, metallic and non-metallic materials processing and characterization, construction and building materials, biomaterials, and sustainable materials engineering.
A double-blind peer-reviewing system is being used to assure the publication\'s quality. In the meantime, the journal commits itself to the regulations of the Committee On Publication Ethics (COPE).

Journal Scope
MJMES is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal prioritizes novel and original fundamental research. The journal aims to introduce up-to-date developments in materials engineering by publishing cutting-edge research. Contributions involving carefully implemented experimental work and developing models to bridge the gap between theory and applications are particularly welcome. Additionally, works incorporating artificial intelligence (AI), molecular modeling and simulation (MMS), and computational works in materials engineering are also encouraged. As an ultimate goal, MJMES is a scientific platform for researchers to share their novel and robust research results globally.
