Methods of Verifying Information in Open-source Investigations: An Analytical Study.

Abstract

This research sheds light on the methods of verifying the information provided in open-source investigations published on the (Eekad) page on Facebook within the period from June 1, 2022, to June 30, 2022, by analysing them using the content analysis tool. The research is descriptive, and the researcher followed the survey method steps to achieve the objectives. The researcher arrived at a set of results and conclusions, the most important of which is that the methods for verifying the elements appearing in images and videos is the most commonly used method, in (Eekad) page, to verify the credibility of event-related information. This is done by monitoring individuals, symbols, texts, signs, and visible logos and relying on them in the verification process. Additionally, the use of satellite images was emphasized as a method that aided the sender in interactive information verification, linking it to ongoing events by employing specific software and applications.

Abstract

يُسلط البحث الضوء على آليات التحقق من المعلومات الواردة في تحقيقات المصدر المفتوح المنشورة في صفحة (إيكاد) على موقع (فيسبوك) ضمن المدة من 1/6/2022م إلى 30/6/2022م، عن طريق تحليلها باستخدام أداة تحليل المحتوى. يعد البحث من البحوث الوصفية، اتبع الباحث فيه خطوات منهج المسح لتحقيق الأهداف. توصل الباحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج والاستنتاجات أهمها أنَّ آلية التحقق من العناصر الظاهرة في الصور ومقاطع الفيديو هي الآلية الأكثر استعمالًا من قبل القائم بالاتصال في صفحة (إيكاد) للتحقق من مصداقية المعلومات المرتبطة بالأحداث، عن طريق رصد الأشخاص والرموز والنصوص والعلامات والشعارات الظاهرة فيها، والاستناد عليها في عملية التحقق، فضلًا عن استخدام صور الأقمار الصناعية، وهي آلية ساعدت القائم بالاتصال في التحقق من المعلومة بشكل تفاعلي، وربطها بالأحداث الجارية، عن طريق توظيف برامج وتطبيقات معينة.

Abstract

Social network sites of all kinds have become playing an important and influential role in developing and enhancing political awareness among the public in all its forms and patterns, including what is related to the elections and their effects on the state and society.
The research relied on the survey method as it is one of the most appropriate methods used in media studies. The research community was represented by users of social network sites, and the researcher chose a sample of (109) from this community using the cross-sampling method. The questionnaire tool was used to collect data and information on the subject of the research. The study reached a number of results : The research results indicated that social network sites are the most widely used and appropriate means of populist discourse, the weakness of traditional media content has enhanced the growth of populist discourse.

Abstract

أضحت مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بمختلف أنواعها تؤدي دوراً مهماً ومؤثراً في تنمية الوعي السياسي لدى الجمهور بكافة صوره، ما جعلها بيئة خصبة للتسويق السياسي ومنه الانتخابي من خلال ما بات يُعرف بالخطاب الشعبوي، اعتمد البحث على المنهج المسحي بوصفه من أنسب المناهج المستخدمة في الدراسات الإعلامية، أما مجتمع البحث فقد تمثل بمستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي واختار الباحث عينة قوامها (436 ) بطريقة العينة العارضة، وقد صمم الباحث استمارة ضمت عدة محاور واستعان بأداة الاستبانة إلكترونية لجمع البيانات والمعلومات، وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج أبرزها: ان مواقع التواصـل الاجتماعي أكثر الوسـائل استخداماً وملائمة من الوسائل التقليدية للخطاب الشعبوي، فأكدت النتائج اخفاق النخب السياسية بأدائها السياسي، وأوضحت اهم الدوافع التي دعت الجمهور للاهتمام بالخطاب الشعبوي السياسي الدوافع الحزبية، كما تبين ان ضعف محتوى وسائل الإعلام التقليدية يسهم في تنامي الخطاب الشعبوي لصالح شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي.

Abstract

Research focuses on studying video clips published on the Al-Imam Al-Adham University page during the month of Ramadan 2024, to assess its commitment to the conditions and regulations set by specialists in da'wah and media, to achieve effective media messaging and impact on the audience. Samples consisted of 15 clips, it has been employed a descriptive-analytical approach in conducting the study. The researcher utilized several criteria for analysis: the duration of the clips, topics, reliance on Quranic and Sunnah texts, duration of introductions and conclusions, appropriateness relative to overall clip duration, identification of the presenter's gender, women involvement in presentation, and audience interaction with the published media content measured by total views. Conclusion the responsible for communication on the page provided good content in terms of topics and technical techniques used, but they did not establish clear guidelines for their guests.

يُعنى هذا البحث بدراسة المقاطع الفيديوية التي نُشرت في صفحة كلية الإمام الأعظم الجامعة خلال شهر رمضان للعام 2024م، لمعرفة مدى التزامها بالشروط والضوابط التي وضعها المختصون في الدعوة والإعلام؛ لنجاح الرسالة الإعلامية وتحقيق التأثير في الجمهور، وقد كانت عينة البحث (15) مقطعاً، واعتمد الباحث في تنفيذ بحثه على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، عبر عدداً من محددات التحليل: (مدة المقاطع، وموضوعاتها، وحجم اعتمادها على نصوص القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية الشريفة، ومدة المقدمة والخاتمة في كل مقطع، ومدى ملاءمتها لمجمل وقت المقطع، والوقوف على جنس القائم بالاتصال، وهل أشركت المرأة في التقديم، وحجم تفاعل الجمهور مع المواد الإعلامية المنشورة من مجموع عدد المشاهدات..)، وتوصل الباحث إلى أن القائمين على الاتصال في الصفحة قد قدموا محتوى جيداً ولا سيما في الموضوعات والتقنيات الفنية المستخدمة، ولكنهم لم يضعوا محددات واضحة يلزمون بها ضيوفهم قبل تصوير المقاطع. وأوصى الباحث الوسائل الإعلامية الدعوية بضرورة معالجة السلبيات التي حددت.

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the role of social media in determining the attitudes of Iraqi youth after the Corona pandemic. To achieve the research objectives, the two researchers followed the descriptive survey method through the sample, and relied on the questionnaire to collect data. After verifying the validity and reliability of the questionnaire and applying it to the research sample (162 young men and women), the researchers reached several results which are: the respondents agree that these sites contribute to carrying out social, economic and other activities. The researchers agreed that social networking sites help to express opinions freely. The study reached several recommendations, including the need to spread awareness among young people about how to deal with social networking sites, involving these sites in the school curricula for teaching them and demonstrating their impact on young people.

يسعى البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على دور وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي في تحديد توجهات الشباب العراقي بعد جائحة كورونا. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث اتبعت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي المسح من خلال العينة وتم الاعتماد على الاستبانة لجمع البيانات وبعد التحقق من صدق وثبات الاستبانة وتطبيقها على عينة البحث والتي بلغت (162)شاب وشابة توصلت الباحثتان إلى نتائج عدة من أهمها، ان المبحوثين الذين لديهم حساب على مواقع التواصل الإلكترونية أكثر من الذين لا يمتلكون حساب إلكتروني، ان المبحوثين يتفقون على إن هذه المواقع تسهم في القيام بأنشطة إجتماعية وإقتصادية وغيرها، وإتفق الباحثون على إن مواقع التواصل تساعد على التعبير عن الآراء بحرية، وإنها تسهم في عرض آراء متعددة حيال قضايا المجتمع، وتوصلت الدراسة لعدة توصيات منها ضرورة نشر الوعي بين الشباب عن كيفية التعامل مع مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بما يسهم في خدمة قضاياهم، وإدراج هذه المواقع في المناهج الدراسية لغرض تدريسها وبيان تأثيرها على الشباب.

Abstract

The research dealt with uncovering the propaganda contents contained in press articles on the website of the Al-Hurra channel. The research problem stems from a main question: What are the American propaganda contents directed in Arabic through the website of the American Al-Hurra channel regarding the Russian-Ukrainian crisis? The research is descriptive research, and the researcher used the analytical survey method, and the content analysis form was used as the main tool, and the researcher adopted the comprehensive inventory method for the time period specified for the research from (2/1/2022 AD to 7/31/2022 AD), and the number of articles that were analyzed within Duration (153) articles. The researcher reached a number of results, the most notable of which are: The Al-Hurra channel’s website used seven advertising content in its messages directed to Arab countries during the research period.

تناول البحث الكشف عن المضامين الدعائية التي وردت في المقالات الصحفية عبر موقع قناة (الحرة)، وتنطلق مشكلة البحث من تساؤل رئيس مفاده: (ما المضامين الدعائية الأمريكية الموجهة باللغة العربية عبر الموقع الإلكتروني لقناة (الحرة) الأمريكية إزاء الأزمة الروسية – الأوكرانية؟)، ويُعد هذا البحث من البحوث الوصفية، واستخدم الباحث المنهج المسحي التحليلي، وتم استخدام استمارة تحليل المضمون كأداة رئيسية، واعتمد الباحث أسلوب الحصر الشامل للكشف عن المضامين الدعائية الأمريكية ضمن المدة الزمنية المحددة للبحث من (1/2/2022م الى 31/7/2022م)، وبلغ عدد المقالات التي جرى تحليلها ضمن المدة (153) مقالة. وتوصل الباحث إلى عدد من النتائج أبرزها: استخدم الموقع الإلكتروني لقناة (الحرة) سبعة مضامين دعائية في رسائله الموجهة للدول العربية خلال مدة البحث، وهذا المضامين هي: (المضامين السياسية، المضامين الاقتصادية، المضامين العسكرية، المضامين الأمنية، مضامين الضحايا المدنيين، مضامين الاهتمامات الإنسانية، المضامين القانونية)، ونجد ان المضامين السياسية تصدرت هذه المضامين استخداماً من قبل الموقع الإلكتروني.

Abstract

The research is concerned with monitoring the nature of the press treatment of the Al-Faw port project and the railway connection on the Al-Sumaria News website. And the repercussions of the websites’ media policies on the nature of the contents of the Al-Faw port project and the railway connection published on the website, especially in light of the exchange of accusations between the forces enthusiastic about building the port and the forces that do not care about the subject. The research belongs to descriptive studies and relies on the descriptive analytical survey method. The researcher used the method Content analysis and its tool known as the analysis form. The research reached several results. The topics of the Grand Al-Faw Port project and the railway connection received attention from the journalistic treatment of economic topics on the Al-Sumaria News website, and the implications of the site’s media policy on the nature of the journalistic treatment appeared.

يختص البحث برصد طبيعة المعالجة الصحفية لمشروع ميناء الفاو والربط السككي في موقع السومرية نيوز؛ وانعكاسات السياسات الإعلامية لكل مؤسسة من المواقع المعنية على طبيعة مضامين مشروع ميناء الفاو والربط السككي المنشورة في الموقع الإلكتروني، لاسيما في ظل تبادل الاتهامات بين القوى المتحمسة لبناء ميناء الفاو الكبير وتحقيق مشروع الربط السككي، وبين القوى التي لا تبالي للموضوع، فالبحث يرصد مستويات الاهتمام بالانعكاسات الاقتصادية للمشروعين وتداعيات ذلك على الأمن والاستقرار، والبحث ينتمي للدراسات الوصفية, ويعتمد على منهج المسح الوصفي التحليلي، وقد استخدمت الباحثة أسلوب تحليل المضمون وأداته المعروفة باستمارة التحليل، وقد توصل البحث لعدة نتائج فقد حظيت موضوعات مشروع ميناء الفاو الكبير والربط السككي باهتمام المعالجة الصحفية للموضوعات الاقتصادية في موقع السومرية نيوز، وظهرت انعكاسات السياسة الإعلامية للموقع على طبيعة المعالجة الصحفية، لاسيما ما يتعلق بتبادل الاتهامات بين الأطراف المعنية ببناء مشروع ميناء الفاو الكبير وكذلك تحقيق مشروع الربط السككي.

The role of satellite channels in promoting the culture of violence among children: An analytical study of a sample of children’s programs

Abstract

This research came to shed light on how violence presented through television programs affects children's behavior and draws attention to it by identifying the factors affecting the intellectual perception process. The research aims to determine the role of television channels and their relationship to raising children and their adoption of violent behavior. The research problem was identified through three questions that were answered by studying the content analysis of six television programs for three satellite channels. The main and sub-categories of types of violence were identified. The researcher reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which were: that television programs contribute to forming trends and shaping attitudes towards social and intellectual situations in children, and that increasing the child's exposure to violent programs and using them as solutions to problems generates a culture of violence in him and thus adopting violent behavior.

جاء هذا البحث ليسلط الضوء على الكيفية التي يؤثر بها العنف المقدم عبر البرامج التلفزيونية على سلوك الأطفال وجذب الانتباه اليه من خلال تحديد العوامل المؤثرة على عملية الادراك الفكرية. ويهدف البحث الى تحديد دور القنوات التلفزيونية وعلاقتها بتنشئة الطفل وتبنيه للسلوك العنيف. وحددت مشكلة البحث من خلال ثلاث تساؤلات تم الاجابة عليها عن طريق دراسة تحليل مضمون ستة برامج تلفزيونية لثلاثة قنوات فضائية. وتم تحديد الفئات الرئيسة والفرعية لأنواع العنف. وتوصلت الباحثة الى مجموعة من الاستنتاجات كان من اهمها: ان البرامج التلفزيونية تساهم في تكوين الاتجاهات وتشكيل المواقف إزاء الحالات الاجتماعية والفكرية لدى الأطفال وان الاكثار من تعرض الطفل لبرامج العنف واستخدامه كحلول للمشاكل تولد لديه ثقافة العنف وبالتالي تبني السلوك العنيف. كما ان التفاعلية الاجتماعية مع الرفاق في ظل هيمنة ثقافة التلفزيون وتبادل المشاعر حول ابطال مسلسلات الرسوم المتحركة من الاسباب المؤدية للعنف بسبب ميل الطفل لتقليد السلوك.

Abstract

The research dealt with the levels of interest of the Kalima Haq talk show in human rights topics in an analytical study, and the research problem stems from a main question: What are the levels of interest of the Kalima Haq talk show in human rights topics?, and questions emerge from it, related to knowing the most human rights topics addressed, the goal of addressing them, the treatment methods used, and the research from descriptive research, and the researcher used the analytical survey method, the content analysis tool, and the comprehensive inventory method to reveal the program's interest in human rights topics within the period from (20/4/2022AD)to(20/4/2023AD),The number of episodes analyzed is(44).The researcher reached the most prominent results: that the program focused on personal and civil rights, as it ranked first in the levels of interest.

The political media content in general is characterized as mass and addresses various sectors of society and attracts the attention of young people for the events it presents at the moment of their occurrence with the possibility of interaction with this content. يعيش العالم اليوم نتائج تكنولوجيا الإعلام والانترنيت والتي غيرت من مسار العملية الاتصالية التقليدية واصبح لتطبيقات الإعلام الجديد دور مهم في نشر المحتويات المختلفة ولاسما الأحداث السياسية المتلاحقة اذ استفادت معظم الصحف والفضائيات التلفزيونية من شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في بث محتواها الإعلامي لتصل إلى اكبر عدد من الجمهور، وقد قدمت هذه المواقع نمطاً حديثاً من اشكال الاتصال وهو الاتصال الثنائي الاتجاه أو ما يسمى بالاتصال التفاعلي والذي من اهم سماته إتاحة المشاركة والتفاعل النشط سواء بين المستخدم والوسيلة أو بين المستخدمين انفسهم وتلبية حاجات الافراد المتلقين حسب اهتماماتهم وتفضيلاتهم. والمحتوى الإعلامي السياسي بشكل عام يتميز بانه جماهيري ويخاطب مختلف قطاعات المجتمع ويحظى باهتمام الشباب لما يقدمه من أحداث لحظة وقوعها مع إمكانية التفاعل مع هذا المحتوى. وهنا تكمن إشكالية البحث: في معرفة مستويات تفاعل الشباب الجامعي مع الأحداث السياسية العراقية عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي.

Abstract

The research dealt with monitoring functional enrichment and its reflection in the design of audio spaces, because design is a wealth whose requirements must be understood, in order to reach functional values through design elements. The current research included three sections, so the research problem was to answer: (What is the role of functional enrichment and its reflection? In the efficiency of sound performance in the design of audio spaces?), so the goal was to reveal the role of functional enrichment and its reflection in the efficiency of sound performance in the design of theater spaces in light of technical development. The research reached results represented by the reflection of digital and electronic development in achieving the functional performance of sound in the center’s music performance hall. The curved and twisted wooden and metal tubes in the space created a connection between the vertical and horizontal boundaries, achieving a feeling of diversity, excitement, pleasure and visual comfort.

تناول البحث رصد الإثراء الوظيفي وانعكاسه فيِ تصميِم الفضاءات السمعية, ذلك أن التصميم ثروة لابد من فهم متطلباته, للوصول إلى قيم وظيفية من خلال العناصر التصميمية, فقد تضمن البحث الحالي ثلاثة مباحث, فكانت مشكلة البحث تتمثل في الاجابة عن:(ما دور الأثراءِ الوظيفي وانعكاسه في كفاءة الاداء الصوتي بتصميم الفضاءات السمعية؟), لذا كان الهدف الكَشف عن دور الأثراء الوظيفي وانعكاسه في كفاءة الاداء الصوتي بتصميم فضاءات المسارح في ظل التطور التقني, فجاء المبحث الأول لشرح منهجية البحث, أما المبحث الثاني فتضمن الأدبيات النظرية الخاصة بالإثراء الوظيفي لتصميِم الفضاءات السمعية, ومن خلال ذلك توصل البحث إلى مؤشرات ساعدت في التوصل إلى طريقة منهجية جرى تطبيقها فقادت إلى نتائج البحث المتمثلة انعكاس التطور الرقمي والإلكتروني في تحقيق الأداء الوظيفي للصوت في قاعة العرض الموسيقي للمركز. ومنحت الانابيب الخشبية والمعدنية المنحنية والملتوية في الفضاء الترابط بين المحددات العمودية والافقية مما حقق شعوراً بالتنوع والإثارة و المتعة والراحة البصرية.

Abstract

This research seeks to identify the repercussions achieved by the Iraqi public’s use of electronic marketing through social networking sites on the stages of making their purchasing decisions. This research is descriptive study. The researcher relied on the survey method and used a questionnaire form to collect data. The researcher used a snowball sample of (400 ) A single from the audience of the city of Baghdad, distributed electronically. The results showed that marketing through social networking sites affects the stages of consumer purchasing decision-making. It generates a desire to buy some products and raises new needs among the public. It also provides information about the product and its characteristics during the product search stage, as well as providing sufficient information to identify available alternatives. As the results showed, these sites provide the opportunity to communicate with the company, and offer loyalty programs.

يسعى هذا البحث التعرف على الانعكاسات المتحققة من استخدام الجمهور العراقي لتسويق الإلكتروني عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على مراحل اتخاذ قراراتهم الشرائية, يعد هذا البحث من البحوث الوصفية, واعتمد الباحث على المنهج المسحي, واستخدم استمارة الاستبيان لجمع البيانات, واستعان الباحث بعينة كرة الثلج من(400) مفردة من جمهور مدينة بغداد وزعت الكترونيا, وبينت النتائج أن التسويق عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تؤثر على مراحل اتخاذ القرار الشرائي للمستهلك, حيث تولد رغب بشراء بعض المنتجات وتثير حاجات جديدة لدى الجمهور. كما انها توفر معلومات عن المنتج في مرحلة البحث, فضلا عن توفير المعلومات الكافية لتحديد البدائل المتاحة, وأظهرت النتائج ان التسويق الالكتروني يلعب دورا بارزا في تحديد العلامة التجارية, كما بينت النتائج, أن مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تتيح فرصة التواصل مع الشركة للحصول على الارشادات حول كيفية استخدام المنتج، وتقدم برامج الولاء ومكافآت للعملاء بعد الشراء.

Abstract

The research deals with Iraqi women's use of social networking sites and their impact on family education by studying a sample of female users of these sites in Karbala Governorate, and identifying the extent of their use of social networking sites, then monitoring the negative and positive educational impacts on women and their effectiveness in the aspect of family education. The research is classified as a descriptive study that relies on the field survey method and by relying on the questionnaire to study the impacts of their use of social networking sites, as the researcher conducted her study on a sample of women in Karbala Governorate represented by (452) female Iraqi researchers, and after completing the study, it became clear that the percentage of users of social networking sites with undergraduate and preparatory university degrees is the largest segment of Iraqi women, and it also became clear that there are positive impacts related to general family awareness..

يتناول البحث استخدامات المرأة العراقية لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وانعكاساتها على التربية الأسرية من خلال دراسة عينة من مستخدمي تلك المواقع من النسوة في محافظة كربلاء، والتعرف على مدى استخدامهن لمواقع التواصل، ثم رصد الانعكاسات التربوية السلبية والايجابية على المرأة وعلى فاعليتها في جانب التربية الأسرية.
والبحث يصنف من الدراسات الوصفية التي تعتمد منهج المسح الميداني وبالاعتماد على الاستبانة لدراسة انعكاسات استخدامهن لمواقع التواصل، إذ أجرت الباحثة دراستها على عينة من النساء في محافظة كربلاء تمثلت بـ (452) مبحوثا من النسوة العراقيات، وبعد انجاز الدراسة تبين أن نسبة المستخدمين لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي من حملة الشهادات الجامعية الاولية والاعدادية هنّ الشريحة الاكبر من النساء العراقيات، وتبين ايضا ان هناك تأثيرات ايجابية تتعلق بالوعي الأسري العام.

تسعى الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الأداء الإعلامي إزاء الوظائف الإخبارية والرقابية والتعليمية والثقافية والإعلامية والترفيهية وكيف يبدو هذا الأداء وفق مقارنته بأدبيات الأخلاقيات الإعلامية ونظرياتها مقارنة بالشواهد والتطبيقات العملية في الممارسة الصحفية.‏واعتمدت الدراسة في منهجها على استخدام المنهج الوصفي الذي يعتمد على الرصد والمتابعة الدقيقة للحدث أو الظاهرة ووظفت نظرية المسؤولية الاجتماعية في الإعلام في هذه الدراسة والتي تدعو إلى إيجاد توازن بين الحرية والمسؤولية وتضع مجموعة من الوظائف التي يشترط أن تلتزم بها المؤسسات الإعلامية أمام المجتمع.‏وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج جاء في أهمها أن التقدم التقني والتكنولوجي و الرقمي في وسائل الإعلام العربية لم يتوازن مع التقدم في مستوى المسؤولية العالمية و الأخلاقية و مساهمة وسائل الإعلام العربية في تكريس واقع التشرذم والتفكك وتسويق المفاهيم السلبية واستغلال هذه الوسائل الأحداث السياسية بما يخدم السلطة السياسية في تضليل الرأي العام بعد تداخل المال والسياسة إضافة إلى سيادة القيم التجارية و البحث عن الربح المادي في اغلبية وسائل الإعلام العربية والابتعاد عن القيم المهنية الحقيقية.
