The current research aims at identifying the variance of social and psychological coordination between special needs pupils with their peers, the research also aims to know the variance of psychological and social coordination according to sex variable and the degree of psychological and social coordination according to the sex variable among the normal students. The sample contained (120) pupils (60) of which were special needs and (60) normal ones. The research made a questionnaire of (68) items divided to be (34) items in school affairs and (34) items in social and family aspects. The external validity and stability were extracted. The researcher used Pearson Coefficient of Conjunction, T-Test, unilateral variance analysis and Shifee test as statistical means. The results showed that normal students were more coordinated than the special needs as well as statistically significant differences

The present study aims at investigating the learning difficulties and non-harmonious behavior of slow learning students. The sample. Consisted of 231 students of special education. Two implements were buil for the purpose, learning difficulties implement and non-harmonious implement. The most important results of the statistical are:

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of using (instructional ‘learning) design (Assure Model) on the achievement of fifth primary pupils in science lesson .
The sample were randomly chosen among the fifth primary class pupils at (Al Kaffaat primary school) in Nineveh Governorate. Two classes were chosen at random one was taught by ordinary method whereas the other by using (Assure model).
The subjects (respiratory system, digestive system) was designed According to the (Assure model) besides preparing declaring guide for pupils to assist them in the lesson . Also an achievement test prepared by the researchers in three levels (remembering, understanding , application) , so all these facilities of the research was prepared by the researchers and improvement of its {validity , reliability }was achieved .

The study aims at introducing the patterns of aggressive behavior of slow learners .The researcher designed a number of questions to achieve the aim of the research to reflect the aggressive behavior of the pupils in general . We also try to know the effects of study stage as compared with stage one and four .

The current research aims at revealing the skills of effective teaching of Arabic language teacher in special education classes and its relation with some variables (sex and academic standard). The sample consisted of (76) teachers , (16) male and (60) female teachers for special education in primary schools involved in special education program in the State Directorate of Education in Nineveh for the academic year 2005-2006.To achieve the aims of the research, the researcher made questionnaire of (54) items divided into five aspects of effective teaching. Validity and reliability of the tool were verified. When analyzing the data using potential means and chi square. The results showed teachers of Arabic language in special Education using skills of preparing schedule connected well. The results all so showed lack of using teaching aids specialized for each group. The results showed no statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample in using effective teaching skills according to sex variable. The results also showed statistically signified differences in the responsible of the sample in academic standard variable with a bias toward college-educated teachers. On the basis of the research results the researcher Recommended providing the suitable visual aids for slow learners. The researcher has also suggested conducting a further study to investigate the skills of effective teaching for special education teachers in other subjects.

The present study has been carried out on sample of the first, second and third grade primary school pupils in the center of Ninavah Government. The study aims at knowing the effect of pupils grade, sex and the ability to recall. The researcher have prepared a test for measuring recall consisting of 20 items divided in to five groups, each containing four items. The pupils have been required to recall these items after presenting them orally in a random way. The oral presentation of each item has been accompanied by a 10 * 20 cm card showing the name of the item itself. Then each pupil has been given an opportunity to conduct a recall through out three attempts aiming at realizing whether or not it is possible to raise the pupils ability to remember through adopting the strategy of organization through which he / she mentally rearranges the item so as to recall it easily.

The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of anxiety disorders among children 7-12 years old by purposive sampling of all lecturers (mothers and fathers) who had this group of child’s age at second part of Mosul University. The study enrolled that out of 149 children are assessed, 49 had anxiety disorders making a point prevalence of (32.9%) with a female to male ratio of (1.2:1). In age group 7-8 years the highest prevalent disorders are separation anxiety disorders and specific phobia. While at the age group 9-10 years PTSD shows a highest fraction. At the age group 11-12 years the most common disorders is generalized anxiety disorder. The present study revealed that anxiety disorders are significantly influenced by multiple factors from those were; age of the child; parents who had any psychological and organic diseases; stressful life events; negative temperament; any disease in a child him\herself; education of a father and family history of psychiatric illnesses. Whereas education of mother, family types, socioeconomic status, crowding index, unemployed fathers, and working mothers played no significant role in modifying the occurrence of anxiety disorders. The investigator recommends that over anxious child needs special attitude from teachers to avoid the consequences of school refusal and its sequel.

A descriptive study was carried out on kindergarten children in Mosul city for assessment of post traumatic stress disorders. The sample of the study consisted of 372 child, chosen from (14) kindergarten in Mosul city for the period from 2nd January to 15th April 2004.
The data were collected by using teacher’s checklist which consisted of (24) items distributed to three areas (physiological, psychological and cognitive), and another (24) items for mother’s checklist distributed to the same above areas.
The validity of the study tool was done by presenting it to a panel of experts, while the reliability was done through test and retest, Pearson’s Coefficient Correlation was used, for mothers r=0.872 and for teachers, r=0.811.
