The article presents a model of literary criticism of Ayala in Picaresco's novel which is a kind of literary narrative that tells the lives of miserable vagrant and the name of the novel is (Lazarillo de Tormes. The reason for choosing the work of the study is to show a new and different aspect of Ayala's critical creativity and to mention the basic rules of the author in his critique of literary works which have a relation with the structural and formal frame of work . In this study we try to shed light on the most important points that highlighted in the criticism of Lazarillo de Tormes. The writer and literary critic Francisco Ayala is known for his comprehensive critique attitude which applied on his work and other authors, and according to researchers who showed interest in the study of his literary works, such as Professor Antonio Chicharro and Andres Amoros, that the author was following a very important criterion in his work as a critic which is the importance of apprehension and understanding the literary world and inhere he refers to the understanding of the reality
or the history of literary work which makes it more understandable to readers.

the research theme is dedicated to the study of semantic changes the meaning of words when used in modern speech. In modern Russian language the word evolve quickly, and changes according to its meaning and its surrounding events. The study commences with presenting a sufficient background about euphemism, its meaning, kinds and categories, purposes and so on. Then it deals with the concept of political euphemism as well as its usages in different contexts and situations. To achieve the main objective, a group of speeches that made by different senior world leaders concerning Iraq are selected to represent the sample of the study. These speeches are analyzed according to different methods since they are varied in their nature, language, culture. However, the emphasis is focused on the descriptive method and a content analysis. This analyze emerges from a qualitative perspective since it concentrates on the meaning that exist in specific situations.

Alfred Tennyson (1809- 1892) wrote a compact, action- packed, historical, patriotic, and a pioneering tragedy inspired by the Norman Conquest of England entitled Harold in 1876. It is based on the facts regarding the events leading to the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Tennyson has been, so far, the only man- of- letters to have dramatized this chapter of British history in a tragedy, even though he has never been the only writer to have paid attention to this turning- point in the destiny of his homeland. This tragedy focuses on the personal conflict between Harold Godwinson (1022- 1066) and William Duke of Normandy (1028- 1087), also known as William the Conqueror, or King William I. This drama, thus, is a journey to the past to explore the forces at work, and the men who made history, the struggle to achieve an improvement after the long- lasting social and cultural stagnation of England in Anglo- Saxon days which had lasted from 449- 1066. Tennyson chose the historical moment which all the earlier playwrights had avoided. Alongside this, he chose the accurate kind of discourse that would be more suitable for both the historical theme and the historical period.
The paper considers and clarifies the notable presence of language and its use as an indication of the historical course of the work. This is carried out through the analysis of a number of selections from the text. The focus will be on the historical style of the dramatic discourse. Tennyson is faithful as much as possible not only to the events but to the historical kind of speech used by characters to make a convincing and trustworthy play linguistically and historically. The paper considers and clarifies the notable presence of language in its use in historical context of this tragedy.

The problem of desertification is one of the most important contemporary environmental problems. The continued depletion of vegetation cover intensifies the degradation and productivity of agricultural land due to neglect, salinization, misuse and management, and thus the emergence of desertification and drought.

The main objective of the study was to measure and analyze some indicators in the urban centers of Iraq, which affect the existence of disparities that lead to urban differences between these cities. Summary of the research
The current research aimed to identify the effect of the opposite approach in developing the psychological security of students in the preparatory stage. For testing the hypotheses, the researcher used experimental design with the control group. The study population consisted of (460) students. The sample consisted of (20) students of the preparatory stage and distributed equally in two groups (experimental and experimental).
