فلسفة الرجاء فلسفة أصيلة في تاريخ الفكر الإنساني، فالرجاء بــ (ما هو غير متحقق بعد)، يعد بمثابة خيط ناظم للعديد من الفلسفات القديمة والحديثة والمعاصرة. والحقيقة أن وجدان الذات الإنسانية ينزع نزوعاً طبيعياً نحو الرجاء بعالم أفضل تتحقق فيه العدالة وتبلغ فيه الإنسانية قيمتها القصوى. وعلى هذا الأساس لا يمكن التغاضي عن قيمة الرجاء كــ مبدأ أصيل لكل فلسفة تحاول إستيعاب التجربة الإنسانية بشموليتها.
