Abstract
The subject of panegyric poetry in prising the prophet Muhammad in Arabic Literature is related or linked to certain expressional contents and longing is one of them. Since most of the compositions and versifications which lie within the context of this religious subject have related this matter very keenly taking into consideration the results which lead the longings consequently to getting very close and attracted to the personality of the praised person within the subject in use, in reference to the praised person’s characteristics as mentioned in the holy Quran and Hadeth.
The significance of this study lies in its attempt to get an answer to the following question:
What has longing offered to the panegyric poetry in praise of the prophet in Al-Wasael Al-Mutaqabela Divan on the intellectual level?
No doubt, getting an answer to such a question requires knowledge about the concept of longing (desire) in the collection mentioned above, which should submit to a descriptive and analytic study that should examine its concept contextually, and contribute in shedding light on its mechanisms in the scope of the poetic purpose by supporting it with meaning, as this experience is considered a pioneer in the Andalusian potry in this filed. Some see that the progress in the Muhammadian Panegyric poetry has become one the known poetic genres since the last decades of the beginnings of the Mamulki Age, this is on one hand, on the other hand some others see that the firmness and the spread of this genre of poetry in Andalusian before the Al-Sarsary and Al-Busairy is due to the owner of this Divan ‘Adu Zaid Al-Fazazi Al-Andalusi (627 Hijri). If the later is proven right academically -taking into consideration the closeness in period between the two texts – it is important to uncover the Andalusian style in the filed of Mohammadian panegyric recording a critical case. Hence the problem of this study emerges. It is hoped that this study would be of high significance for the readers and researchers. There is a self-relation to the praised (Mohammad ‘peace be on him’) which is a reason behind the immortality of the genre, it caries alone with it certain sentimental concepts like: compliment love of the place inhabitants, meditation and self-reproach, congratulation of the riders and travellers to the prophet (peace be on him), sending greetings in stations where present longing values and those which compensate for the past missing, after having some semantic levels in the texts where the place and the trace transfer geographically to a source where the soul can find its missing mate. And this raises from the value of the dignifies after he has become like an exhibition of heroism and nobility depending on the inherent religious view in this spiritual field and the signs of intellectual back up among the poetic texts in this side which helps in constantly reminding the reader of the character of the prophet. This shows loyalty to the prophet which requires the intensity of the concept of human abstraction in the images of kissing and adoring the traces of the person who has been chosen by the Lord to be His prophet and messenger.
Remoteness or closeness has never been less important than what has been mentioned previously. The study focused on reducing the gap between the two concepts and getting a unified goal, especially in case of the signs of distance (remoteness) (such as: weeping, wound, loss) which emphasized the concepts of closeness (such as blaming the self, compliment, etc.) after having some motivation of this inevitable surmount such as:
1. Starting the journey of soul (the alternative element) with the body standing still. This journey is decorated with signs of request, with what man is supposed to be in terms of honour in determination to the target to the extent of death and satisfaction; these are the characteristics of morality in this journey which is not doomed to stop to success.
2. Investigating the Quranic reality in its time and spatial contexts, to remind of the achieved closeness filled with hope, in the light of the available intellectual closeness which works on reducing the gap between it and the real distance.
Thus, it is obvious that Longing in Al-Wasael Al- Mutaqabela Divan appeared in employing its energy within the fame of Mohammadian panegyric.

لاشك في أن ميدان النبويات يعد أحد الميادين الحافلة بالمعاني السامية ، كما تصوره لنا المشاعر التي تعلقت بشغف بمقصودها من وراء النظم الشعري في هذا الحقل ، وذلك بعد أن تترك ثمة دوال قائمة على الساحة الفنية تقودنا الى إبداء بعض التساؤلات المشروعة حيالها .
وتحاول هذه الدراسة بخطوات بحثية الحصول على إجابة عن السؤال الآتي : (ماذا قدم الشوق للمديح النبوي في ديوان الوسائل المتقبلة لأبي زيد الفازازي ) ؟
ويقتضي توافر عنصر الإشكالية في هذا الجانب المعرفي ، الوقوف على ماهية الشوق في المجموع الشعري المذكور ، وذلك بأن يخضع لمنهاج دراسة وصفية- تحليلية ، ترصد مفهومه نصياً وتسهم في تسليط الضوء على آلياته في نطاق تكوين الغرض الشعري ، من أجل ذلك قام البحث على أساس فقرتين اثنتين هما : المكان والرحلة اليه والأثر النبوي الشريف ، فضلاً عن البعد والقرب . إذ افادتا في الخاتمة ان الشوق في ديوان الوسائل المتقبلة بدا بمظهر سخّر طاقاته ضمن إطار غرض المديح النبوي في المجموع الشعري .
