DJMS (Dijlah Journal of Medical Sciences) ISSN: P-3078-3178, E-ISSN: Pending is a peer-reviewed, scientific journal published by Dijlah University (DU). The aim of this journal is to publish high-quality articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the field of Medical Sciences and Techniques. 

 

Author Guidelines

The Dijlah Journal of Medical Sciences (DJMS) published original papers, scientific articles, and reviews in general medicine and dentistry.

1. The journal is aimed to increase the understanding and appreciation of scientific and medical research.

2. The articles should be written in English with an abstract in Arabic.

3. Papers are considered for publication on the understanding that they have not been and will not be published elsewhere.

4. All papers are assessed by at least two or three external referees.

5. The article should be sent to the editorial board through the journal websites.

6. On a separate paper, the manuscript should bear the Title of the paper, the Author(s) name(s), and the name of the Institution, E-mail, Mobile Number, and Website.

7. The paper should normally be presented in the form of Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion sections.

8. Summary should be submitted in Arabic at the end of the paper.

9. References section should be including a list of all the literatures sited in the paper at the end of the article and should be on (APA style ) .

10. Tables and figures should be on separate sheets and their legends should be typed accordingly.

11. All texts should be double spaced (2.0).                                        

12. Times New Roman 12-point Font size is preferred.

13. The research paper should be focused enough to be in between 10 to 20 pages.

The Editors reserve the right to reject article(s) without sending them out for review. Submitted papers must be within the scope of the journal. All submitted articles go through a double-anonymized peer-review process. Articles for the regular issue can be submitted electronically throughout the year.
