In this research, auxiliary variables were used to study the properties of the proposed estimator using random ordered sampling (RSS). The properties of the proposed estimator were proven to have high relative efficiency compared to the ratio regression estimator and the general average relative to the extent of the correlation coefficient between the auxiliary variable and the main variable.
