The research problem was diagnosed with the weakness of hard and soft skills among the teachers of the University of Basra and its impact on performance, and its objectives were determined to upgrade and enhance these skills. The researchers subjected a sample of teachers with 110 titles, certificates and different colleges from the research community to study and the research came out with a number of conclusions, including the existence of an impact between these skills and the performance of teachers and reached a number of recommendations, including the need to develop a comprehensive program for all university teachers to develop these skills to keep pace with technical developments in this field to adapt to the requirements of the times. And adopting them as standards for the quality of teachers' performance and within the standards of university performance and with an impressive weight.

In general, the research aims to identify forensic accounting and its role in developing accounting work mechanisms to support and enhance the work of regulatory bodies in Iraq, through knowing the concept and origin of forensic accounting and its importance, as well as its goals and mechanisms of techniques, components and skills.
In order to collect data for the study, a questionnaire consisting of 33 items was given to 70 employees of the Financial Supervision Bureau and the Integrity Commission in the Basra Governorate. This allowed the description and analysis approach to be used. A range of statistical measures, such as percentages, weighted arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the One Sample T-test for testing hypotheses, were used to analyze the data and draw conclusions using the SPSS software.
The most important finding of the two researchers is the urgent need for forensic accounting methods and procedures in order to provide experts, develop accounting work procedures in regulatory bodies and companies, and examine and investigate financial problems. Therefore, it is recommended that the Accounting and Regulatory Standards Council should pay attention to issuing special standards for forensic accounting and developing a job description for forensic accountants through a guide that specifies the principles of the field and the responsibilities of forensic accountants in the Integrity Commission, the Financial Supervision Bureau, and other organizations that rely on forensic accountants in their operations.

The present study aims to find out the effect of supply chain capabilities on the competitive performance of Iraqi ports. The hypotheses were developed based on the variables of the study and a hypothesis scheme was designed according to the variables of the study, on the basis of which the main and sub-hypotheses were developed. The current study was applied and tested in the maritime sector of um Qasr Port - Basra. The questionnaire form and the descriptive analytical method were used as a method of data collection for a sample of (205) individuals working in the port. The results indicated that there is an impact of supply chain capabilities (integration, coordination and supply chain response) on the competitive performance of ports. Based on the findings of the current study, a number of recommendations were made on the need to participate and adopt organizations, especially maritime organizations, including supply chain capabilities and exploit them optimally, because the port represents the most important and intermediate links for global supply chains, as supply chain capabilities play an important role in logistics operations through the exchange of information between organizations, supply chain parties and special coordination, integration and response processes for the supply chain.

The research aims to define the existence of the relationship between information systems and infrastructure of maritime services through the study of the variables of the study, as a questionnaire form was developed to ensure the existence of a relationship between the variables of the study (information systems) independent variable, (infrastructure of maritime services) dependent variable, the study population reached (1019) maritime employees, , and the selection was made using the method of the intentional sample of the main maritime sections, and the analysis was Retrieved data of 281 questionnaires using two programs. SPSS.V24 and AMOS.V.24. The study concluded that there is a positive impact relationship of significant and statistical information systems in the infrastructure of maritime services, as the main hypothesis model explains 17% of the change in the infrastructure of maritime services. Therefore, the researchers recommend paying attention to the use of technology, modern devices and equipment, as well as the administration's interest in maritime infrastructure and working to develop it and develop future plans for it, as well as attention to databases related to the work of each department.

The current study aims to reveal the impact of information technology in its dimensions (software, databases) in improving the overall performance of seaports (port services provided to ships, services provided while waiting) to raise the overall performance of seaports. This study was applied to both companies (the General Company for Iraqi Ports, the General Company for Maritime Transport) and their number reached 327 and they were selected using the (simple random sampling) method. The data was approved by using a set of statistical methods available in the programs (Spss-V.26 & Amos-V.26). The results showed that there is a positive impact of information technology and its dimensions in improving the overall performance of seaports. Scientific outcomes: The results of this study can be used to develop the methods and capabilities of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, which will be positively reflected in information technology. Therefore, the General Company for Iraqi Ports must pay increasing attention to this field and achieve its goals and raise the general level.

The aim of the current research is to know the level of impact of maritime safety in the development of marine pieces belonging to the General Company for the ports of Iraq for the purpose of raising the performance of work, as the researcher prepared and distributed a checklist to diagnose the research problem. For the purpose of achieving the objectives required for the current research, the researcher has designed the hypothetical scheme, through which the nature of the relationship between the main dimensions can be clarified, namely (maritime safety) as an independent dimension, and (management of marine pieces) as an approved dimension, as the community included (1734) individuals and the sample (315) individuals, and the questionnaire form was distributed to the study sample, which are individuals working in marine vessels belonging to the General Company for Ports of Iraq, and the number of marine pieces reached (58) A piece of marine with different design, tasks and duties, as the researcher used statistical programs to analyze data (SPSS. V.23, EXCEL V.10). The results of the statistical analysis reached the acceptance of the hypothesis, which aims to clarify the relationship of correlation and impact between the independent dimension (maritime safety) and the approved dimension (management of marine assets), in addition to highlighting the dilemmas that threaten the safety of marine vessels belonging to the General Company for Ports of Iraq.

The objective of this research is to assess the context, leadership and planning requirements needed to implement the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The qualitative design is approved by relying on the case study methodology in order to evaluate and discuss the ISO45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety System and Standards. The sample of the study is the top management departments concerned with occupational safety and quality in the Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies. In order to reach the most accurate details and information available in order to identify the gap between the actual reality and the requirements of the application, a checklist was built based on the international standard items (ISO 45001: 2018), as the sample included 12 individuals from top management departments and departments concerned with occupational quality and safety. The research concluded that the application of the occupational health and safety management system in accordance with the international standard ISO 45001-2018 in the Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies is a fundamental and very important commitment. The research also concluded that there are deficiencies in the standards of context, leadership and planning. The research also recommended the need for the support and commitment of senior management towards the application of standardization standards.

At the present time and as a result of the rapid development and fierce competition between business organizations including ports, these organizations must reach the highest levels of specialization in their field of business in order to increase their competitiveness. As the management of logistical activities plays an essential role in the work of ports by controlling all activities related to service provision in each part or work system inside and outside the port. The research aims to improve the activity of entry of external transport trucks to the port, through the use of queuing theory models to measure the performance indicators of the entry gate of external transport trucks to container terminals. For the purpose of reducing waiting time for trucks transportation, balancing waiting costs and service costs, in addition to working to reduce the total cost. The results of the research concluded that the use of queuing theory models contributed to improving the management of the activity of transport trucks entering the port and recommendations will be presented at the end of the research.

Career path development is a modern concept in the field of human resources management that aims to create harmony between employees and the jobs they occupy on the other in order to achieve organizational goals by increasing productivity and efficiency, ultimately leading to job satisfaction. As a result, the purpose of this study was to assess the influence of career path growth on employee work satisfaction by formulating hypotheses that included the dimensions of the two variables (career path development and employee satisfaction). The descriptive analytical approach was also used, in addition to the questionnaire and interview, to prove the validity of hypotheses or not, by distributing 150 forms to administrative staff and workers in four hospitals in the Nabatieh Governorate, from whom 143 forms were retrieved, as well as conducting several interviews. This study was divided into four chapters with the directors of human resources in the study community, and each chapter contains several chapters that are arranged in a way that allows the reader to form a clear concept about the process of developing the career path, and to know its characteristics, pillars, and dimensions, so that it can be linked to hospital policy and to show their relationship with satisfaction career. The findings also proved the validity of the hypotheses, which show, through statistical analysis, that there is a strong correlation between the dimensions of career development, represented by career path clarity, training programs, career path planning, rewards and promotions, the job environment, administrative policies, and achieving job satisfaction.

the study worked to determine the extent to which the application of the balanced scorecard in its four axes (financial، customers، internal operations، learning and institutional growth) can be applied to improve electronic management of projects، the sample size in the two companies under study was determined using the stratified random sampling method .This study concentrated on the use of the balanced scorecard to improve electronic management in general contracting firms in the Basra Governorate of the Republic of Iraq.
The study found a number of results using the T-test for the pre and post questionnaire indicating the existence of a significant and statistically significant relationship between the balanced scorecard and the electronic management of projects، according to the point of view of the members of the study community sample، as a result، the study revealed a set of recommendations، including the requirement for senior management in companies to adopt the balanced scorecard and to use electronic management rather than paper management in their dealings.
