The research aimed to identify the mechanisms for protecting children from violence gender-based , by shedding light on the concept of violence gender-based , explaining its effects and the most important theories that explain it. To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive approach was used for its suitability to the research topic. The study reached a set of results, including: Violence gender-based is a behavior or set of behaviors directed against individuals or a person in particular because of their gender, whether male or female, especially children and females due to a number of facts, social values, and life incidents that are common and specific to the nature of each society. Violence gender-based includes actions that include acts that cause harm, threats, or any form of deprivation of freedom, and these acts can be practiced in secret or in public. The phenomenon of violence gender-based (GBV) in Iraq has historical implications linked to the pressures of life, values, and traditions based on the masculinity of society in all its aspects of life, and its manifestations have extended and worsened over time. Violence gender-based in all its forms leaves serious and long-term consequences on children physically, psychologically and socially. Theories explaining violence gender-based vary, but most of them emphasize that children (males and females) acquire violence from the surrounding environment. There are many international legal agreements and treaties that have been approved by the majority of the world's governments to promote social and legal work on gender equality and ending all forms of violence against children. Accordingly, the study came out with a set of proposals directed to the family, educational institutions, government agencies and civil society as a whole.

This research endeavours to delve into the profundities of ancient Greek philosophy by analysing the concept of the soul as articulated by Plato and Plotinus. It aims to understand how the perspectives of these philosophers constitute a rich philosophical foundation that influences human understanding of the self.
Employing a comparative analytical philosophical methodology, this study seeks to meticulously understand the nuanced views of both Plato and Plotinus, with an emphasis on analysing and comparing their primary ideas and concepts concerning the soul.
An analysis and comparison of the key ideas and concepts regarding the soul by Plato and Plotinus have been conducted. Plato divided the soul into three parts and emphasized its immortality, whereas Plotinus showed an interest in emotions and desires and the soul's immortality, presenting a different division of the soul's power.
The study highlights the relationship between the soul and ethical life, as well as the general understanding of human beings, through an exploration of Plato's and Plotinus' visions. It demonstrates how understanding the soul is vital in interpreting human nature and how the viewpoints of these philosophers’ impact human self-understanding.

It aims to identify the image of women in arts and media in Iraqi newspaper websites and to know the social image of women in the study sample websites and to identify the types of images used. This research belongs to descriptive studies and the researcher used the survey method. The analysis tool was represented by content analysis and the study community was represented by the Iraqi newspaper websites of Al-Sabah and Al-Zaman newspapers. The research reached several results.
1-The results of the study showed that the main category, the image of women in arts and media, came in first place with a percentage of (3.29) of the total study websites. This indicates the interest of Al-Sabah and Al-Zaman websites in women\'s issues and topics in this field.
2-The category of the image of women in the field of fashion and clothing came in second place with a percentage of (26.38) of the total study websites.
3-The category (local) came in first place among the categories of the \"geographical scope\" category in the study sample websites with a percentage of (54.74).

En este artículo, busco demostrar que la tecnología desempeña un papel protagónico en la práctica de la traducción. Así como, la exposición de que a medida que avanzamos en el uso de las herramientas digitales, los desafíos que puede enfrentar el ejercicio de la traducción, promueven oportunidades que afectan la calidad y la accesibilidad de esta labor. Por tanto, es crucial entender cómo estas herramientas impactan la labor del traductor y la forma en que se percibe la traducción en la actualidad.
De esta manera, lo primero es relatar una breve historia acerca de la historia y la evolución de la tecnología en la traducción, Luego, abordaré los desafíos que surgen con esta transformación tecnológica. A continuación, exploraré las oportunidades que la tecnología nos ofrece, ilustrando una serie de aplicaciones y plataformas de apoyo a través del uso de las TIC (tecnologías de la información y la comunicación) y las nuevas tecnologías de la IA (Inteligencia Artificial). Finalmente, centraré un ejercicio reflexivo sobre el futuro de la traducción, concretando las habilidades que los traductores deben desarrollar para aprovechar al máximo las herramientas digitales disponibles.

This review sketches the importance of morphological awareness (understanding and manipulation of morphemes) in reading at various points in the language acquisition continuum . Certain essential literacy skills, such as word recognition, vocabulary expansion, and comprehension depend on morphological awareness. Morphological awareness in alphabetic and non-alphabetic languages and how it contributes to reading proficiency in each is explored in the paper. Structural similarities that can cause morphological skills to be transferred from one language to another is quite useful for bilingual readers, particularly if they cross-linguistic, for reading in both languages. This review also discusses how morphological awareness relates to other linguistic skill such as phonological and syntactic awareness in favor of comprehensive literacy instruction. Recommendations for morphology focused instruction that accounts for the morphological characteristics of each language is recommended on the basis of educational implications such as help in reading comprehension, vocabulary development and academic achievement.

The article aims to identify the importance of modern technologies in university libraries by comparing them with other advanced universities that utilize modern technologies to improve their services and provide them to beneficiaries. The article addresses two main axes: first, facilitating access to information, improving library management, enhancing e-learning and scientific research, and interacting with users; second, the challenges facing the use of modern technologies in libraries. This analysis led to several proposals, including the introduction of digital library management systems such as Koha or Aleph to manage library operations such as indexing, lending, and inventory. This contributes to speeding up procedures and reducing human errors, thus enhancing work efficiency in libraries. Furthermore, the article suggests converting university libraries into digital libraries by digitizing books and references, and developing digital platforms that allow access to scientific materials online, among other proposals and solutions.
