This study was conducted to demonstrate the effective compound extracted from Nerium oleander and ultrasound of mixed frequencies (10-50) (45-20)(50-60) KHz on the growth of larvae cyprid the barnacle B.a.amphitrite in Nasiriyah thermal power station outlet water. The samples were collected at a rate of twice a month and three replicates and each time in the morning, and the larvae were used by 12 of the larva replicates in the totals for control and transaction experience of biological and physical control. The results of the aqueous extract and alcoholic extract high loss ratio for the larvae of cyprid reaching70% and 55.4% respectively in the last day and a concentration of 5 mg / ml. The proportion of the loss of larvae as well as cyprid amounted to 100% when using ultrasound at mixed frequencies, The ultrasound is better than plant extract in inhibiting the destruction of larvae of cyprid.

Chronic renal failure (CRF) is one of the major public health problems in Iraq. This work aimed to investigate whether adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity has any correlation with calcium concentration in patients with CRF for the first time, then using this correlation as a diagnostic tool for CRF disease. Creatinine (Cr), urea, total protein concentrations, in addition to ADA activity and calcium concentration, were measured for 33 males individuals divided to two groups, the first group included eighteen patients with CRF before hemodialysis at department of artificial kidney of Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital in Thi-Qar (Iraq) while control group included fifteen healthy matched individuals. The results showed that a significant increase in Cr, urea concentrations in addition to ADA activity, while there was a significant decrease in a total protein and calcium concentrations for patients group comprised with control group (p < 0.05). Indeed, there was a weak negative correlation between ADA activity and calcium concentration according to this study.

Transition metal complexes of new legend 2-ethyl-5-{[(3-phenyl-5- sulfanyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)imino]methyl}benzene-1,4-diol such as Cr3+,Fe3+, Co3+, Ni2+,Cu2+ were synthesis ,characterization by magnetic susceptibility measurements, conductance , elemental analyses, 1HNMR , IR , and mass spectra. The electrolytic behavior were confirmed from their conductance data. spectral study of transition metal complexes suggest octahedral geometry for Cr3+,Fe3+and Co3+ ion , square planer geometry for Ni2+and Cu2+ ion. The complexes and ligand were tested against two types of bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli).all prepared complexes showed good biological activity.

Exposure of glucocorticoids leads to numerous changes in various biological and histological.. Our results were observed , no morphological damage was observed in liver of the rats in the control group In the animals that treated with low dose of HC there were moderate changes in the hepatocytes, while in the animals that treated with high dose of HC vacuolation of hepatocytes (V) with congestion of central and sinusoids. The changes in the kidney section, the control group was within the normal histological limits. there were minimum dilatation and congestion of glomeruli was found in low dose , But that were treated with high dose of hydrocortisone sodium succinate, Increased Numbers of Nuclei, glomerular degeneration of some glomeruli and revealed dilatation of renal cortical tubules. Also in the section of spleen in the control group as white pulp was within normal limits ,but there were minimum atrophy of white pulp lymphoid tissue in the low dose animals ,and there was severe atrophy of white pulp lymphoid tissue of animals that were treated with high dose group compared with control group.

A total of 200 serum samples were collected from Bent Al-Huda hospital in Al -Nasiriyah city, Thi- Qar province, Iraq. These samples were collected from aborted women in different ages and cases to detect of Rubella virus by Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay (ELISA) and Immuno chromatography (ICT) techniques.

It was founded from the recent study 162 (81%) of serum samples were positive by IgG ELISA, and 105 (52.5%) were positive by IgG with ICT technique. All serum samples. were registered negative results to IgM anti- rubella virus by two techniques.

The results of ELISA technique were appeared the higher rate (97.95%) for anti-Rubella virus antibodies was observed in second age group ((21-30)years) and a no significant differences were observed in the seropositivity concerning to age groups(P value:>0.05). In ICT, the higher rate (85.71%) of anti-Rubella virus antibodies was observed in the second group of ages, with the presence of significant among the age groups(P value:< 0.05). According to the cases, the higher rate (96%) of anti-rubella virus antibodies was in bleeding in early pregnancy case which observed with ELISA technique, and no founded significant differences among cases groups P value:> 0.05), while 90.9% of seropositivity fetal death cases was resulted with ICT technique, and were founded highly significant differences among the rates of seropositivity against rubella virus(P value:< 0.01). The sensitivity and specificity were registered 95% and 61% respectively with ELISA test, while the lower sensitivity and sensitivity values were with ICT test, they were 85% and 57% respectively, and the statistical analysis was appeared the existence of significant differences (P value:< 0.05) between the two tests.

The current study identified prevalence of Toxoplasmsis immunoglobulin's in Anassirriyah city among a group of women of childbearing age and some of farm animals as well as cats during the period between November 2007 to August 2008 by using latex test. Goat showed high prevalence,32% followed by sheep29% , cattle 18 and women14. %68. 2 from 5 serum samples of cats showed positive result for serological examination of disease. The result confirmed that the age , level of education , presence of garden or planted area , living in rural area and presence of cats were the important factors which associated with the prevalence of Toxoplasmsis

In this research, study theory of system includes the use of important source of renewable energy sources (solar source) and linking this system with an electrical load typical (home) using artificial intelligence. The world is witnessing significant rise in fossil fuel prices since the end of the last century until now, this rise in price increases with the decrease in inventory day after day. Therefore, turned the attention of researchers in the field of power generation to expand in non-conventional energy sources (new and renewable energy sources). New and renewable energy is inexhaustible energy in use because they rely on renewable natural resources. So in this study find detailed explanation about the system of photovoltaic cells system with solar cell types. The mathematical model is an important part of the detailed study for PV systems. As well as study models for photovoltaic systems via the MATLAB/Simulink, is a programming environment contains many models for renewable systems intended to perform simulation and analysis. Solar cells system needs to apply the (MPPT) algorithm due to the instability of external circumstances such as solar radiation and temperature. Therefore, a neural network technology applied to train solar cell data is intended to perform the optimization process and get the greatest value for electric power. At the end of this research, study conducted the operation of PV system for processing load appropriate electricity around the clock. Where the system simulation with the analysis of the results within 24 hours. Simulation results showed that the response of the Neural MPPT algorithm was faster than the classical P&O algorithm. Moreover, the average tracking efficiency of the neural network algorithm was higher than the classical P&O algorithm.

Background: Pomegranate (Punica granatum ) is an ancient, mystical, unique fruit with potential antimicrobial activity.
Objective: This study was performed to explore the antimicrobial activity of ethanolic and aqueous extracts of pomegranate peel against extended spectrum beta-lactamase producing bacteria (Klebsiella pneumonia , Escherichia coli and Aeromonas hydrophila).
Material and Methods: 100 swabs were collected from the skin of burned patients. The bacterial strains were identificated according to their cultural , morphological , microscopically and biochemical characteristics, then subjected to ESBL-producing screening by double-disc synergy test. The ethanolic and aqueous extracts of pomegranate peel were prepared by using a Soxhalet apparatus and their antimicrobial activities were studied and compared with a commercial antibiotics against tested bacteria by using agar well diffusion method.
Results: Out of total 100 swabs, only three isolates produced ESBLenzyme, namely (Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli and Aeromonas hydrophila). Both extracts showed an effective antibacterial activity against all these bacteria. The ethanolic extract was found to be more effective than aqueous one against all the tested microorganisms.
Conclusion: The pomegranate peel extracts have a strong antimicrobial activity against extended spectrum beta-lactamase producing bacteria. Therefore it is an important source of new antimicrobial compounds to treat infections caused by multidrug-resistant bacterial.
