The Problem of Narrator and Techniques of Narrative Construction: A Study of Selected Arab novels.

Abstract

This paper approaches the subject of narrator through examining a number of Arabic novels that belong to modernist and post-modernist period. It also approaches the methods of construction and formal techniques based on net of artistic elements. Since these novels attempt to innovate the novel's expressive , artistic and aesthetic style, they deal with the means of expression and elements of formation according to a new vision that contributes to build narrative space, in which the fictional setting dominates a large part of narrative movement in the novel. The spatial performance is reflected in characters, events, times, and all elements of the composition without exception.

دراسة البحث موضوع الراوي من خلال قراءة مجموعة من الروايات العربية التي تنتمي إلى فضاء الحداثة وما بعد الحداثة، فضلاً عن دراسة أساليب البناء الفني وتقانات التشكيل القائمة على شبكة من العناصر الفنية، وبما أن هذه الروايات تحاول أن تجدد في الأسلوب التعبيري والتشكيلي الفني والجمالي للرواية، فإنّها تتعامل مع وسائل التعبير وعناصر التشكيل على وفق رؤية جديدة تسهم في بناء الفضاء السردي، الذي يهيمن فيه المكان الروائي على جزء كبير من حركية السرد في الرواية، وينعكس الأداء المكاني على الشخصيات والأحداث والأزمنة وكل عناصر التشكيل بلا استثناء.

Abstract

The research sheds light on one of hadith narrators, namely (Imam Afif bin Salem Al-Bajali Al-Mawsili), a neglected narrator whose hadiths were not studied, despite his big status and potentials, so researcher decided to do an extensive study, about his translation, his name , surname, his upbringing, his acquisition of knowledge, knowledge of his sheikhs from whom he received narration, and his students who learned from him. Obviously he learned from and also taught best of the best.

جاء البحث لتسليط الضوء على أحد رواة الحديث وهو (الإمام عفيف بن سالم البجلي الموصلي), الذي لم يكتب عنه ولم تدرس أحاديثه, مع مكانته وعلو قدره, فكان لزاماً علينا عمل دراسة مستفيضة, فجاء عن ترجمته, التي اشتملت على اسمه, ولقبه, ونشأته, وتلقيه العلم, ومعرفة شيوخه الذين تلقى عنهم الرواية, وتلامذته الذين أخذوا عنه, حيث تبين أنه أخذ عن الثقات وتلقى منه الثقات أيضاً.

Abstract

This research focuses on theory of dialogic implication as an important pillar of pragmatics that studies linguistic activity and its relationship to language users. The study tackles a number of questions, perhaps the most prominent of which is how speaker can mean more than what he says, or mean other than what he says, and tries to find an approach in creative texts full of irony and sarcasm in the above mentioned collection of stories (Fawq Bilad al-Sawad) by Iraqi writer Azhar Zarzis. The study was divided into two sections preceded by an introduction. and followed by a conclusion, the first part dealt with emergence of deliberative , origins of dialogical implication, its principles and its roots in Arab heritage, while the second concerned with practical side of dialogic implication in collection of stories (Fawq Bilad al-Sawad).

هذا البحث يقف عند نظرية الاستلزام الحواري بوصفها ركنا مهماً من أركان التداولية التي تدرس النشاط اللغوي وعلاقته بمستعمليه. ويجيب على جملة من الأسئلة لعل أبرزها كيف يمكن للمتكلم أن يقصد أكثر مما يقول، أو يقصد خلاف ما يقول، ويحاول إيجاد مقاربة في نصوص إبداعية مليئة بالسخرية والتهكم في المجموعة القصصية (فوق بلاد السواد) للكاتب العراقي أزهر جرجيس، وانقسمت الدراسة إلى مبحثين تسبقهما مقدمة وتتلوهما خاتمة، تناول ال الأول نشأة التداولية وأصول الاستلزام الحواري ومبادئه وجذوره في التراث العربي، في حين اقتصر المبحث الثاني على الجانب التطبيقي للاستلزام الحواري في المجموعة القصصية (فوق بلاد السواد).

Algerian writer (Dr. Ezzedine Glaouji: Professor of Novel and Theater Theory at University of Bordj Bou Arreridj_Algeria) is star of this research because his plays, especially (Pierced Masks), contain cohesive artistic techniques, a type of literary genres closest to human life , reality, and most closely intertwined with. Problems and concerns of society in their various forms, through portraying them in many theatrical scenes. Therefore, the research came to study play’s characters by providing a general overview of the character’s meaning, analyzing its texts , explaining its artistic and objective dimensions, in order to reveal the connotations that were expressed in a forward, introduction, and two sections First part tackled main character , second : subordinate one . By studying character in the above mentioned play researchers made a number of conclusions .

تم اختيار الأديب الجزائري (الدكتور عزالدين جلاوجي: أستاذ نظرية الرواية والمسرح بجامعة برج بو عريريج_الجزائر) ميدانا للبحث لما تحمله مسرحياته ولا سيما (الأقنعة المثقوبة) من تقنيات فنية متماسكة، إذ تميزت بكونها من أكثر الأجناس الأدبية قربا إلى حياة الإنسان وواقعه، وأشد تداخلا مع مشاكل وهموم المجتمع بتنوعاتها المختلفة، عبر تصويرها بمشاهد مسرحية عديدة، لذا جاء البحث ليجري دراسته على شخصيات المسرحية من خلال تقديم مسحة عامة عن معنى الشخصية مع تحليل نصوصها وبيان أبعادها الفنية والموضوعية، لأجل الكشف عن الدلالات التي تمضخت عنها بمقدمة ومدخل ومبحثين، إذ تضمن المبحث الأول : الشخصية الرئيسة في حين تضمن المبحث الثاني الشخصية الثاننوية وتم التوصل من خلال دراسة الشخصية في مسردية الأقنعة المثقوبة الى مجموعة من النتائج

Abstract

Political comedy is concerned with arousing laughter in recipients, as it works to raise negative societal issues within a sarcastic framework aimed at blaming , reproaching, to release anger and discontent of masses through all kinds of humor about what angers them. Thus , person reaches point to reduce discontent factor and minimize it in a way that arouses laughter of masses. . Political comedy is also considered the best tool for soft power to confront attacks and verbal wars, as it destroys the prestige of attacker, so any message he delivers will not be taken seriously because it has been minimized in a comedic way, and limits possibility of recruiting targeted groups, influence morale of attackers, and distract their thinking, so instead of focusing on Systematic attack , focus will be on defence.

تهدف الكوميديا السياسية الى اثارة الضحك لدى المتلقي اذ تعمل على ابراز قضايا المجتمع السلبية بإطار ساخر هدفه اللوم والعتاب وبالتالي هي تدعو الى تفريغ غضب الجماهير وسخطهم من العامل الذي يغضبهم من خلال الفكاهة بانواعها ، وبالتالي يصل الانسان الى انه يحجم عامل السخط ويصغره بطريقة تثير ضحك الجماهير. كذلك تعتبر الكوميديا السياسية أفضل أداة للقوة الناعمة لمواجهة الهجوم والحروب الكلامية فتصل الى تحطيم هيبة الهجومي وبالتالي أي رسالة يريد توصيلها لن تؤخذ بجدية لأنه قد تم تصغيرها بطريقة كوميديا ،اذ تحد من احتمالية تجنيد الفئات المستهدفة، التأثير في الروح المعنوية للهجوميين وتشتيت تفكيرهم فبدل التركيز على الهجوم الممنهج سيكون التركيز على الدفاع.

فكانت دراسة الصيغ والتراكيب القرآنية الدالة على القوة والضعف البشريين وما تحويهما من مشاعر وأحاسيس المحور الذي بنينا عليه بحثنا بعد أن لمسنا وجود مثل هذه الصفتين في سورة مريم مجالاً مناسباً لهما، سواءٌ أكان في تجسيد القصص القرآني أم في مشاهد يوم القيامة إذ تطلبت السياقات القرآنية أن يكون لهاتين الصفتين محل من صيغها وتراكيبها فكان مدعاة لنا للدراسة فيها، فقسمنا البحث على مبحثين اثنين اقتضى كل مبحث منهما أن يكون منقسماً على محورين أيضاً سبقناهما بتمهيد تضمن الصيغة والتركيب في اللغة والاصطلاح، ثم أتبعنا التمهيد بالمبحث الأول فجاء بعنوان: الصيغ الدالة على القوة والضعف البشريين ضمّناه محورين، المحور الأول الذي اختصَّ بالقوة والثاني بالضعف، أما المبحث الثاني فجاء بعنوان: التراكيب الدالة على الضعف البشري، فاختص المحور الأول بالقوة، والثاني بالضعف، ختمنا البحث بثبت للمصادر والمراجع التي أفدنا منها، الله ولي التوفيق.

Abstract

Surah Al-Ankabut addresses the topic of trials, indicating that they are a constant law of universe through which Allah tests patience and faith of His creation to distinguish truthful from the false. Allah tests people based on their faith and with what weighs heavily on their souls, like illness and hunger, as well as with blessings. Prophets, like all others, faced trials and tribulations throughout time with their people, as explained in this Surah. The Surah illustrates stance of prophets towards trials and obstacles they encountered in their mission. The word "fitnah" appears in Quran with multiple meanings, including: trial, test, polytheism, punishment, hypocrisy, misguidance, killing, captivity, and others. Each meaning has evidence from Quran and Sunnah. Trials can be in both adversity and prosperity. Quran provides various methods to help believers confront trials and emphasizes that salvation from trials, before they occur, is through supplication and seeking Allah's help. After a trial occurs, Muslim should arm themselves with knowledge, follow Quran and Sunnah, and avoid participating in trial.

تناولت سورة العنكبوت موضوع الفتن، وبينت أنها من سنن الكون الثابتة التي يختبر الله سبحانه وتعالى بها صبر وايمان الخلق لتبين الصادق من الكاذب، والله سبحانه وتعالى يبتلي الناس على قدر ايمانهم ويختبرهم بما يكون ثقيلاً على نفوسهم كالمرض والجوع وكذلك يختبرهم بالنعم، وقد تعرض الأنبياء كغيرهم من الخلق وعلى مر الزمان الى الفتن والابتلاءات مع أقوامهم، وهذا مابينته السورة وبينت موقف الأنبياء أزاء الفتن والعقبات التي صادفتهم في دعوتهم، وقد وردت كلمة الفتنة في القرآن الكريم لمعانٍ كثيرة منها: الاختبار والابتلاء والشرك والعذاب والنفاق والضلالة والقتل والأسر وغير ذلك من المعاني ولكل معنى منها أدلة موجودة في القرآن والسنة، والفتنة كما تكون في الشر كذلك تكون في الخير، وذكر لنا القرآن الكريم أساليباً عديدة تساعد المؤمنين على مواجهة الفتن، وبين أن النجاة من الفتن قبل وقوعها يكون بالدعاء والتضرع الى الله تعالى، وبعد وقوع الفتنة فإن الواجب على المسلم أن يتسلح بالعلم وأن يتبع كتاب الله وسنة رسوله ﷺ وأن لا يشارك في الفتنة.

برزت الرؤية في رواية الطوفان الثاني لفاتح عبد السلام ولاسيما الرؤية التاريخية في اظهار موضوعات خاصة بالعراق من حيث الهجرة والنزوح والهوية والانتماء وسط الاحتلال الامريكي للعراق وتداعياته مع تاريخ الحروب السابقة .
قام البحث على مدخل وثلاثة مباحث تضمن المدخل تحديد مفهوم الرؤية التاريخية ، وخص المبحث الأول لدراسة ( الرؤية التاريخية للحرب العالمية الثانية ) في حين تضمن المبحث الثاني دراسة ( الرؤية التاريخية للحرب العراقية الإيرانية والحصار الاقتصادي على العراق) ، وجاء المبحث الثالث لدراسة ( الرؤية التاريخية للاحتلال الأمريكي للعراق ).
اعتمد البحث دراسة تحليلية للرؤية التاريخية في رواية الطوفان الثاني لفاتح عبد السلام وبيان قيمها الموضوعية والفنية .

Ibn Allan's Approach to Explaining His Poem "Hasan al-Ibarah fi al-Isti'arah"

Abstract

Study of Arabic language sciences holds great significance, particularly that of rhetoric. Researcher tackled the book "Latif al-Ramz wa al-Ishara ila Khaba'ya Zawaya Hasan al-Ibara" by Imam Ibn Allan al-Siddiqi, a commentary on his poem "Hasan al-Ibara fi Nazm al-Isti'ara." The researcher analyzed author's methodology in this book by studying his life and the approach he followed in explaining his poem. The study focused on the book's structure, author's presentation of opinions, his preferences, contemporary scholars' views, and how he engaged with their works, highlighting points of agreement, supporting his arguments with evidence given by him and his teachers in this field. At the end of the study, researcher recorded the most important conclusions reached. I ask Allah for success and guidance.

لدراسة علوم اللغة العربية الأهمية البالغة ولاسيما علم البلاغة، فقد تناول الباحث كتاب (لطيف الرمز والإشارة إلى خبايا زوايا حسن العبارة) للإمام ابن علان الصديقي، وهو شرح لمنظومته (حسن العبارة في نظم الاستعارة) ودرس منهج مؤلفه في كتابه عبر دراسة حياة المؤلف ومن ثم المنهجية التي اتبعها في شرحه لمنظومته، وكيف كان تقسيمه للكتاب وطرحه لآرائه وترجيحه وتوجيه آراء العلماء وكيف تعامل مع كتبهم مبيناً أوجه الاتفاق معهم معللاً بأدلته وأدلة شيوخه في هذا الفن، وفي آخر الدراسة دون الباحث أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها، والله اسأل التوفيق والسداد.

Abstract

In this study, level of ability to solve verbal problems for fifth graders inside and outside Mosul in Nineveh Governorate will be identified regarding subject of ordinary fractions. Verbal problems that were prepared by two researchers were used with ten questions, each of which has three choices, only one is correct . Researchers took opinion of arbitrators for verification. to determine validity of questions, Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) will be used to obtain research results, Researchers concluded the following: 77% of fifth-grade elementary students were able to solve verbal math problems, fifth grade elementary female students possess ability to solve verbal math problems more than males. Furthermore, fifth grade elementary students in city of Mosul were able to solve verbal math problems more than those outside Mosul city.

هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على مستوى تمكن حل المسائل اللفظية للصف الخامس داخل الموصل وخارجها في محافظة نينوى لموضوع الكسور الاعتيادية ، وبلغت عينة البحث (100) طالب وطالبة، وتم استخدام مسائل اللفظية التي تم اعدادها من قبل الباحثة بعشرة اسئلة ولكل سؤال ثلاث اختيارات واحد منهم إجابة صحيحة ، وقد اخذت الباحثة رأي المحكمين للتحقق من صدق الأسئلة ، وتم استخدام برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الإنسانية SPSS للحصول على نتائج البحث، وكانت النتائج الدراسة ان نسبة 77% من طلبة الصف الخامس الابتدائي تمكن من حل المسائل اللفظية ، وكذلك وتمكن الطلبة الاناث من حل المسائل اللفظية اكثر من الطلبة الذكور. وكما ان الدراسة بينت تمكن طلبة داخل مدينة الموصل اكثر من طلبة خارج الموصل في حل المسائل اللفظية للصف الخامس الابتدائي.

However, the perspective that focuses on judging degree of their understanding based on comparisons with their peers or classmates became limited, as it does not reflect extent to which these students possess trait measured or their mastery of learning. Therefore, researcher implemented current study within a relatively modern approach of educational measurement compared to traditional approach.

تصمم الاختبارات التحصيلية لتعطي صورة واضحة عن مستويات الطلبة، إلا أن النظرة التي تعنى بالحكم على درجة تعمهم في ضوء مقارنتهم بأقرانهم، أو زملائهم في الصف الدراسي، باتت قاصرة، لكونها لاتنم عن مدى إمتلاك هؤلاء الطلبة للسمة موضع القياس، أو مدى إتقانهم للتعلم، لذلك أتجه الباحث للقيام بالبحث الحالي، وفق إتجاه حديث نسبياً في القياس التربوي مقارنة بالأتجاه التقليدي.

Abstract

Present study aims to investigate empirically effect of short reports strategy on development of social competence among fifth primary class pupils.
In order to achieve this aims , researcher put two null hypotheses adopted an experimental design with two groups . Sample consisted of (64) male pupils in fifth primary class in Mosul city. First group was experimental (EG) with (30 pupils) . This group used hot chair strategy, while second group represents the control (CG) of (34 pupils). This group followed traditional method. Researcher equalized both groups in several variables namely :( age measured in months, intelligence test (IQ), parents academic level, pupils scores in social sciences for previous year, average score in previous year, participants scores in social competence ) Researcher used pre-post tests of self efficiency . After treating data statistically using(T-test) for two independent groups, results showed statistically significant difference between means of pupils using short reports strategy compared with that of other group.

يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف على ( اثر استراتيجية التقارير القصيرة الاجتماعية في تنمية كفاءتهم الذاتية لدى تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي ).
ولتحقيق هدف البحث وضعت الباحثة فرضيتين صفريتين, واستخدمت الباحثة التصميم التجريبي ذا المجموعتين الاولى تجريبية والاخرى ضابطة, وبلغ حجم عينة البحث من (64) تلميذا من تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي بواقع (30) تلميذ للمجموعة التجريبية و(34) للمجموعة الضابطة, حيث كافأ الباحثة بين المجموعتين في المتغيرات (العمر الزمني, الذكاء, تحصيل الوالدين, درجة الاجتماعيات للعام السابق, المعدل العام للعام السابق, اختبار كفائتهم الذاتية), طبقت الباحثة الاختبار القبلي والبعدي لكفائتهم الذاتية وبعد معالجة البيانات احصائيا باستخدام الاختبار التائي (t-test) لعينتين مستقلتين تبينت النتائج وجود فرق ذو دلالة احصائية بين متوسط درجات التطبيق البعدي لكفائتهم الذاتية لدى تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية التي درست باستخدام استراتيجية التقارير القصيرة وتلاميذ المجموعة الضابطة التي درست باستخدام الطريقة الاعتيادية.

Abstract

The Academic Emotions among Basic Education Students at Sultanate of Oman and Their Relationship to Some Variables

Abstract

Current research seeks to identify level of academic emotions among students in basic education in Oman. Researchers employed descriptive approach by choosing study sample randomly, consisted of 160 students. To collect data, researcher used Academic Emotions Scale developed by Al-Dardir et al (2020), consisted of 27 items. findings indicated that positive academic emotions level among basic education students was high (M=3.94), while negative academic emotions level was moderate (M=2.93). In addition, findings showed there are significant differences due to sex variable in favor of females regarding positive academic emotions, while males scored higher in negative academic emotions. Furthermore, findings indicated that there are no significant differences related to grade level variable in terms of positive academic emotions. However, there were significant differences related to grade regarding negative academic emotions, favoring 11th-grade students. Additionally, differences were found between 10th- and 12th-grade students, with 10th-grade students showing higher levels of negative academic emotions. Finally, findings indicated no significant differences related to academic specialization in terms of positive academic emotions. However, significant differences were found in negative academic emotions, favoring students in Art specialization.

سعت الدراسة إلى معرفة مستوى الانفعالات الاكاديمية لدى طلبة التعليم الأساسي في سلطنة عُمان وتحديد أثر بعض المتغيرات على تلك الانفعالات، وقد تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي من خلال تطبيق مقياس الانفعالات الأكاديمية من إعداد الدردير وآخرون (2020) والذي تكون من (27) فقرة على (160) فردًا تم اختيارهم عشوائيًا، وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الانفعالات الاكاديمية الإيجابية لدى طلبة التعليم الأساسي جاء مرتفعًا (3.94)، ومستوى الانفعالات الاكاديمية السلبية لدى طلبة التعليم الأساسي جاء متوسطًا (2.93). كما كشفت النتائج أن مستوى الانفعالات الأكاديمية الإيجابية عالية لدى الإناث مقارنة مع الانفعالات الأكاديمية لدى الطلبة الذكور، بينما جاءت النتائج مختلفة في مستوى الانفعالات الأكاديمية السلبية والتي جاءت لصالح الذكور مقارنة مع الإناث. ولم يكن لمتغير الصف الدراسي أي تأثير في مستوى الانفعالات الأكاديمية الإيجابية، بينما كان له أثر ذو دلالة احصائية في مستوى الانفعالات الأكاديمية السلبية لصالح طلبة الصف 11، وكذلك توجد فروق بين طلبة الصف 10 وطلبة الصف 12 في مستوى الانفعالات الأكاديمية السلبية لصالح طلبة الصف 10. وفيما يتعلق بمتغير التخصص، لم يكن هناك أثر يعزى لمتغير التخصص الدراسي في مستوى الانفعالات الأكاديمية الإيجابية، بينما كان لمتغير التخصص تأثير دال احصائيًا في مستوى الانفعالات الأكاديمية السلبية لصالح طلبة التخصص الأدبي.

Imam Burhan al-Din al-Ja'bari, an eighth century AH scholar, wrote his manuscript (Births of the Imams of the Musnads) to mention great scholars of Hadith and its sciences. Imam al-Ja'bari paid attention to present worthy information , despite its lack of verification. Researcher realized importance of this manuscript, examined it carefully, verified , and scrutinized it, to be his legacy for researchers. The manuscript dealt with studying biographies of Imams of Hadith, the six great scholars, of different times and centuries, and wrote in their lineages a summary of their biography. He spoke in each biography about their names, their sheikhs, their students, and their scientific lives. In this research, we presented a study in a few lines about the author, the manuscript information found in this manuscript was verified and commented on by reviewing related scientific sources of subject .

Abstract

The research deals with the conditions of Circassian immigrants who were forced to leave their country in the northwestern Caucasus and head towards lands of the Ottoman Empire during the period (1859-1878 AD) after Russian forces occupied their lands , forced them to immigrate to Ottoman lands and agreed with the Ottoman side to receive them. The research explains the great suffering and tragedies that they experienced. Circassians, whether during the migration phase or after their arrival in Ottoman lands, hundreds of thousands of them died as a result of hunger , spread of diseases and epidemics among them. The research also mentions numbers of immigrants, the Ottoman Empire’s motives for receiving them, and its policy of resettling them in a way that suits its interests.

يتناول البحث اوضاع المهاجرين الشركس الذين اضطروا لترك بلادهم في شمالي غرب القوقاز والتوجه نحو اراضي الدولة العثمانية خلال المدة (1859-1878م) بعد ان احتلت القوات الروسية اراضيهم ودفعتهم للهجرة الى الاراضي العثمانية واتفقت مع الجانب العثماني على استقبالهم، ويوضح البحث المعاناة والمآسي الكبيرة التي تعرض لها الشركس سواء خلال مرحلة الهجرة او بعد وصولهم الى الاراضي العثمانية اذ مات مئات الالاف منهم نتيجة للجوع وانتشار الامراض والاوبئة في صفوفهم، كما بين البحث اعداد المهاجرين ودوافع الدولة العثمانية لاستقبالهم وسياستها في اعادة توطينهم بما يلائم مصالحها.

The study included the results obtained from examining (160) samples of blood serum for two groups: control group, which included (80) samples, and group of patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), which included (80) samples. groups were divided according to age into two age groups that included (less than 45) and (More than 45 years) , according to body mass index into obese (BMI greater than 25) and non-obese (BMI between 18 and 25) and according to gender into females and males. In addition to classifying patients into two groups: a group of treated patients and a group of newly diagnosed and untreated NAFLD patients, the study included estimating activity of the enzyme arginine deaminase type 4 (ADI4) and levels of some biochemical variables, which included total cholesterol T.C., triglycerides TG, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol HDL-C, low-density LDL-C, very low-density VLDL-C, and glycated hemoglobin HbA1c.

تضمن البحث دراسة طيفية ثرمودينماكية لخمسة من صبغات الآزو المحضرة من تفاعل خمسة جالكونات مختلفة مع الكاشف (بارا – فينيلين ثنائي الأمين المؤزوت ) عند الدالة الحامضية الطبيعية لكل منها .وتم إيجاد الظروف المثلى لكل صبغة ،تم درست النسبة المولية المثلى وكانت 2:1) ) للكاشف المؤزوت :جالكون للصبغات المحضرة الكافة عند الدرجات الحرارية ( 372,382,392,313,323) كلفن .

Abstract

study aimed to investigate the concentration of IgE antibodies in people infected with pinworm Enterobius vermicularis (32 people) and (4) healthy people aging 3-45 years, both sexes, using ELISA technique. Results showed a significant increase in concentration of IgE levels in patients compared to control group. Of healthy people, there are significant differences at probability level of 0.01. The study examined the relationship between percentages of increase in these levels depending on age and found that there are significant differences between children and adults using the F-Test at probability level of 0.05. The levels of IgE also showed a significant difference. Statistical significance depends on gender between males and females at probability level of 0.05.

هدفت الدراسة إلى التحري عن تركيز الاجسام المضادة IgE لدى المصابين بالدودة الدبوسية Enterobius vermicularis (32شخص) والأشخاص الاصحاء (4) ممن تتراوح أعمارهم بين 3-45 سنة من كلا الجنسين باستخدام تقنية الـ ELISA وتم التحري عن العلاقة بين مستويات هذه الاجسام المضادة اعتمادا على العمر ايضا. واظهرت النتائج ارتفاعا ملحوظا في تركيز مستويات IgE لدى المرضى مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة من الأشخاص الاصحاء وإن هناك فروقا ذات دلالة معنوية عند مستوى احتمالية 0.01 ، وتبين أن هناك فروقا ذات دلالة معنوية بين الأطفال والبالغين باستخدام اختبار F-Test عند مستوى احتمالية 0.05 كذلك أظهرت مستويات الـIgE اختلافا ذو دلالة إحصائية اعتمادا على الجنس بين الذكور والاناث عند مستوى احتمالية 0.05 .

Abstract

Information available about Iraqi lichens is very limited. The current study is the first to investigate lichens in Nineveh and Northen Jazira districts located within upper plains and foothills region in Iraq. Lichens from many types substrates were gathered from four sites, three of which were located in Nineveh district and one in Northen Jazira district. Lichens were identified then classified based on their external appearance and internal anatomy as well as chemical spot tests. Results showed identification of 19 lichen species, 12 of them were crustose (its ratio equals 63.1%) and 5 squamulose (26.3%), while there were two foliose species (10.5%), no fruticose species were found. It was found that all recorded species were new for the two districts, and that two species were new records in Iraq: Acarospora placodiiformis and Buellia zoharyi. Distribution of recorded species showed variation between two districts and four study sites, the most dominant species were Lecanora muralis and Fulgensia subbracteata. Most of recorded genera were poor in species number. The largest genera was Caloplaca represented by three species, followed by the genera Acarospora, Collema and Squamarina.

ان المعلومات المتوفرة عن الأشنات في العراق محدودة للغاية، وتعد الدراسة الحالية هي الأولى التي تبحث في الأشنات المتواجدة في مقاطعتي نينوى والجزيرة العليا الواقعتين ضمن منطقة السهول العليا وسفوح التلال في العراق. تم جمع الأشنات من موادها الاساس المتنوعة في أربعة مواقع، ثلاثة منها كانت في مقاطعة نينوى وواحدة تعود الى مقاطعة الجزيرة العليا. تم تشخيص الأشنات وتصنيفها على أساس مظهرها الخارجي وتشريحها الداخلي فضلا عن الاختبارات الكيميائية الخاصة بالاشنات. أظهرت النتائج تحديد 19 نوعًا من الأشنات، 12 منها كانت من النوع القشري (بلغت نسبتها 63.1٪) و 5 انواع كانت تنتمي الى الانواع الحرشفية (بلغت نسبتها 26.3٪)، بينما كان هناك نوعان من الأشنات الورقية (بلغت نسبتها 10.5٪)، ولم يتم العثور على أي نوع من الانواع الشجيرية. وجد أن جميع الأنواع المسجلة كانت جديدة للمقاطعتين قيد الدراسة الحالية، وكان هنالك نوعين من الاشنات تم تسجيلهما لأول مرة في العراق هما الاشن Acarospora placodiiformis و الاشن Buellia zoharyi. اظهر توزيع انواع الاشنات المسجلة في الدراسة الحالية تفاوتا بين المقاطعتين المدروستين وكذلك اظهرت تباينا واضحا بين مواقع الدراسة الأربعة، وكانت انواع اشنات الأكثر انتشارًا هي النوع Lecanora muralis و Fulgensia subbracteata، وكانت معظم الأجناس المسجلة قليلة في عدد الأنواع، وكان أكبر الأجناس هو الجنس Caloplaca ممثلاً بثلاثة أنواع، يليه الاجناس Acarospora وCollema وSquamarina.

Abstract

Our research initially includes preparing five aromatic chalcones, diagnosing them physically using melting points and color changes, diagnosing them using an infrared (IR) device, as well as diagnosing them chemically using appropriate chemical tests. In addition to preparing reagent (ortho-phenylene diamine). Then study their interaction with each other and formation of azo dyes and follow them spectroscopically using an electronic spectrophotometer (UV+visible) at natural (PH) for each dye. And at six temperatures (273, 283, 293, 303, 313, 323k). Then the optimal conditions for formation of each azo dye were determined at each temperature along with molar ratios of its components, so they were all (reagent 1: 2 chalcone) using mole ratio method. Then degree of agglomeration was calculated with values of stability constants of resulting dye at each temperature, and it was within (negative) range. In addition, it was inversely proportional to increase in temperature because reaction of its formation exothermic. From studying absorption spectrophotometrically at six temperatures, we were able to calculate enthalpy of reaction (∆H). Its negative value indicates that reaction is exothermic, and this is confirmed by decrease in stability constants of prepared dyes when reaction is heated. The Gibbs free energy was also calculated at all temperatures, and it was negative, indicating spontaneity of reaction. While entropy values (∆ S) were negative, indicating regularity of product compared to reactants, with presence of some anomalies.

يتضمن بحثنا في البداية تحضير خمسه جالكونات اروماتية مع تشخيصها فيزيائيا باستخدام درجات الانصهار وتغير الالوان وتشخيصها باستخدام جهاز الاشعة تحت الحمراء (IR) فضلاً عن تشخيصها كيميائياً باستخدام الكشوفات الكيميائية المناسبة لها. فضلاً عن تحضير الكاشف (آرثو-فنلين ثنائي الأمين المؤزوت). ثم دراسة تفاعلها مع بعضها وتكوين صبغات الآزو ومتابعتها طيفياً باستخدام جهاز الاطياف الالكترونية (uv+visible) عند الدالة الحامضية الطبيعية PH)) لكل صبغة. وعند ست درجات حرارية (273, 283, 293, 303, 313, 323). ثم تعين الظروف المثلى لتكوين كل صبغة آزو عند كل درجة حرارية مع النسب المولية لمكوناتها، فكانت جميعها (كاشف 1:جالكون2) باستخدام طريقة النسبة المولية. ثم حسبت درجة التكتل مع قيم ثوابت استقرار الصبغة الناتجة عند كل درجه حرارة وكانت ضمن المدى(السالب) فضلاً على أنها كانت تتناسب عكسيا مع ازدياد درجات الحرارة لأن تفاعل تكوينها باعث للحرارة. من دراسة الامتصاص طيفيا عند ستة درجات حرارية تمكنا من حساب انثالبي التفاعل H)∆)، فكانت قيمته سالبة دلالة على ان التفاعل باعث للحرارة، ومما يؤكد ذلك انخفاض ثوابت استقرار الصبغات المحضرة عند تسخين التفاعل. كما تم حساب طاقة گبس الحرة Gibbs عند الدرجات الحرارية كافة فكانت سالبة دلالة على تلقائية التفاعل. في حين كانت قيم الأنتروبي S)∆) سالبة دلالة على انتظام الناتج بالمقارنة مع المتفاعلات مع وجود بعض الشواذ.

Abstract

In this study, an ionic liquid composed of 1,4-butyl methyl chloride [bm-Im]Cl and its salts in varying molar proportions [bm-Im]FeCl4 and [bm-Im]2MCl4 (M2+= Co, Ni, Cu) are prepared using metal chloride as Lewis acid. FT-IR, elemental analysis (CHN), 1H-NMR, and other spectroscopic and physical methods were used to diagnose the prepared compounds. To employ these compounds in the extractive desulfurization process (EDS), their thermal stability was investigated. The effectiveness of these compounds in eliminating sulfur compounds from petroleum model was investigated by dissolving 1000 parts per million (ppm) of Dibenzothiophene (DBT) in a standard hexane solvent. Despite using medium amounts of extracted agent compared to oil model, the results showed that compounds used had an acceptable efficiency; these compounds have a promising future in extractive sulfur removal processes.

في هذا العمل، تم التوصل إلى سائل أيوني يتكون من -1,4 كلوريد ميثيل بيوتيل [bm-Im]Cl وأملاحه بنسب مولية متفاوتة [bm-Im] FeCl4 و[bm-Im] 2MCI4 (M2+= Co, Ni, Cu ) يتم تحضيرها باستخدام كلوريد المعدن كأحماض لويس.
تم استخدام FT-IR ، التحليل العنصري (CHN)، 1H-NMR، وغيرها من الطرق الطيفية والفيزيائية لتشخيص المركبات المحضرة لاستخدام هذه المركبات في عملية إزالة استخلاص الكبريت (EDS) ، تم دراسة ثباتها الحراري. تم التحقق من فعالية هذه المركبات في إزالة مركبات الكبريت من النموذج البترولي عن طريق إذابة 1000 جزء في المليون من ثنائي بنزوثيوفين (DBT) في مذيب الهكسان القياسي. وعلى الرغم من استخدام كميات متوسطة من العامل المستخلص مقارنة بالنموذج الزيتي، فقد أظهرت النتائج أن المركبات المستخدمة ذات كفاءة مقبولة ، ولهذه المركبات مستقبل واعد في عمليات إزالة استخلاص الكبريت.

Abstract

This study was carried out to evaluate 5 genotypes of sweet corn (Zea mays Lssp Saccharate) (2024-2023) where seeds were planted during autumn agricultural season (Fito Arzuman, Aristo, Syngenta, Monarch) at a site in University of Mosul / College of Education for Girls), with three replicates and three dates, the first (15/7/2023), the second (22/7/2023) and the third (29/7/2023), according to randomized complete block design (RCBD). Factors studied were traits of number of days to 50% tasseling, number of days to 50% silking flowering, plant height, ear length, number of ears, leaf area surrounding the main ear , number of rows per ear , number of grains in row, 100 grains weight, individual plant yield, percentage of carbohydrates, In order to obtain genotypes at optimal dates that are superior in the characteristics of yield and its components.

نفذت هذه الدراسة لتقييم 5 تراكيب وراثية من الذرة السكرية (Zea mays L.ssp Saccharate)(Fito,Arzuman,Aristo,Syngenta,Monarch ) إذ زرعت البذور خلال الموسم الزراعي الخريفي لعام (2023-2024) في موقع جامعة الموصل /كلية التربية للبنات بثلاث مكررات ولثلاث مواعيد الموعد الاول (15/7/2023)والموعد الثاني (22/7/2023) والموعد الثالث(29/7/2023)، وفق نظام القطاعات العشوائية الكاملة R.C.B.D ،ودرست صفات عدد الايام للتزهير الذكري 50% ،عدد الايام للتزهير الانثوي50 % ،ارتفاع النبات ، طول العرنوص ، عدد العرانيص بالنبات ،مساحة الورقة العرنوص الرئيسي،عدد الصفوف بالعرنوص،عدد الحبوب بالصف،وزن 100حبة،حاصل النبات الفردي ،نسبة الكاربوهيدرات وذلك لايجاد تراكيب وراثية وبموعد زراعة يتفوق في صفات الحاصل ومكوناته.اظهرت نتائج التراكيب الوراثية ومواعيد الزراعة كانت معنوية عند 1و5%لمعظم صفات الحاصل ومكوناته،أن اداء التراكيب الوراثية والمواعيد والتداخل بينها كانت معنوية في اغلب صفات الحاصل ومكونات هوالذي نتج عنه تداخل العامل الوراثي مع العامل البيئي.وتفوق التركيب الوراثي(Arzuman) يليه (Fito)و يليه(Syngenta) في الموعد الثاني لصفات الحاصل ومكوناته.

Abstract

This study involves synthesis of new complexes from metal ions Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), and Zn (II) with 4-(4-(dimethyl amino) benzylidene) hydrazono) methyl)-2-methoxyphenol ligand (LN) in a molar ratio [1:2] metal: ligand. The complexes were characterized based on Elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, XRD, molar conductance, magnetic moment measurement, and powder X-ray diffraction. Infrared data suggest that ligand (LN) behaves as a monodentate ligand and coordinates through (N) as a donor, forming a sequence towards the metal ions. The LN gives an octahedral shape, and ligand was characterized using IR, 1H, and 13CNMR. Finally, some of these prepared complexes were screened for their antibacterial activities against two classes of pathogenic bacteria: Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The results show that metal complexes have a greater essential action compared to free ligand.

في هذه الدراسة حضرت معقدات جديدة من الايونات الكوبلت (II) ، والنيكل(II)، والنحاس (II)، والخارصين(II)، مع الليكاند 4-(4-ثنائي ميثيل امينو(بينزاليدين)هيدرازونو)مثيل)2-ميثوكسي فينول، بنسبة مولارية (2:1) (فلز: ليكاند)، وشخصت المعقدات المحضرة بواسطة تقنيات كيميائية وفيزيائية طيفية مختلفة، منها اطياف الاشعة تحت حمراء FT-IR ، والاطياف الالكترونية ، والعزم المغناطيسي ، والتوصيلية المولارية , التحليل الدقيق للعناصر ، وحيود الاشعة السينية للمسحوق، اثبتت الدراسات اعلاه ومن ضمنها الدراسة الطيفية (IR)،ان الليكاند سلك سلوك ليكاند احادي السن ، والتناسق مع الايون الفلزي من خلال ذره النتروجين العائدة لمجموعة الازوميثين ، واعطى معقدات ثمانية السطوح ،وشخص الليكاند بواسطة (IR)، و طيف الرنين النووي المغناطيسي للبروتون والكاربون -13، واخيرا درست الفعالية البيولوجية ، لليكاند ومعقداته على صنفين من البكتيريا الممرضة الموجبة والسالبة لصبغة كرام ، اذ اظهرت بعض المعقدات فعالية ضد النشاط البكتيرياعلى من الليكاند الحر.

كتبت رواية "مهد القطة" (1963) للروائي كرت فونكت كنقد للقرن العشرين في الثناء على العلم وعبادة التقنية وانتشار ألاسلحة المدمرة و هيمنة السياسة . بالإضافة إلى ذلك فهي ضد الاعتقاد أن افكار الفلسفة الدينية الوضعية المجردة يمكن أن تهيمن على تفكير البشر ويمكن أن تفهم وتحل مشكلات و الغاز العالم.
لقد لاحظ الناس حول العالم سيادة الظلم والفساد والحماقات في مجتمعاتهم. وشعروا بالحاجة إلى تخطيط نظام المدينة الفاضلة (يوتوبيا) للعيش معا في مجتمع نموذجي كامل. فيما إذا كانوا يستطيعون الحصول على هكذا مجتمع أم لا هي المسألة ألاساسية الموجودة في العديد من روايات فونكت. سيقدم البحث جواب لهذا التساؤل من خلال فوضى عالم الواقع المرير (الدستوبيا) في سان لورينزو والتي غالبا ما تجلب مشاكل إضافية ولا تعد بأي حل.
