This study examines the stance of Abd al-Karim Qasim on the Iraqi Personal Status Law No. 188 of 1959, one of the most progressive and influential legal reforms in modern Iraqi history. The research explores the political and social context preceding the law’s enactment, the drafting process, and Qasim’s decisive role in supporting and implementing the legislation.
The study finds that Qasim viewed the law as a cornerstone in his broader project to build a modern, civil state based on equality and social justice. Despite strong opposition from religious authorities and traditional institutions, Qasim insisted on the law’s legitimacy and its alignment with the spirit of Islamic jurisprudence.
The research concludes that the Personal Status Law symbolized a turning point in Iraq’s legal history, significantly advancing women›s rights and redefining the relationship between religion and the state. Artificial intelligence has become a major part of our contemporary reality, especially in the field of scientific research, as it is considered a major revolution in managing and analyzing data, and deducing results accurately and quickly, and this technology has become applied in Islamic sciences in general and hadith sciences in particular, especially in explaining the hadith. This article came to highlight the extent of the possibility of employing artificial intelligence in explaining the noble hadith and analyzing it through a review of one of the most important artificial intelligence tools for the science of hadith. (Hadith platform application) to know its effectiveness in this aspect and to identify the most prominent negatives and positives that it can offer in the field of explaining hadith, in addition to the suggestions and recommendations that can be made through this brief article. One of the most prominent features of the application is that it is one of the first applications that applied artificial intelligence tools and matured them in the field of hadith and its explanation. It is characterized by accuracy and speed in research, which saves time and effort. As for the most prominent disadvantages of applying the platform, it is the lack of resources, in addition to the fact that relying on it completely discourages the researcher and hinders him from developing the research skill and reading electronic and paper books, especially in the field of the noble hadith and its explanation.

Mr. Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr has formed a prominent intellectual trend through his intellectual writings, which have become one of the most important Islamic sources in the modern era, as they include various social, economic, and political dimensions based on Quranic foundations. The intellectual dimensions in Surat Ibrahim mean the broad intellectual scope in various fields, whether social, political, or economic. This article came to review those intellectual dimensions in light of the intellectual output of Mr. Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr, and the review resulted in several results and recommendations. The most prominent of which is Al-Sayyid’s interrogation of a large number of verses in Surat Ibrahim in various intellectual fields, as the Surah contains verses that carry within them intellectual dimensions, economic laws, and social laws, as well as political issues such as the verses of succession and responsibility, identifying the types of deviation, and treating it through justice.

The Taifa period in Al-Andalus witnessed profound transformations not only on the political and social levels, but also on the psychological level. The disintegration of central authority and the ensuing unrest deeply affected the emotional world of poets. As a result, their poetry began to reflect anxiety, a sense of defeat, and a longing for stability. In this context, Ibn Zaydun emerged as one of the most prominent poets who embodied these psychological changes in his poetry, especially in the genre of ghazal (love poetry).
During this period, Ibn Zaydun’s poetry stood out as a dual psychological discourse, portraying his suffering between the harshness of imprisonment and the instability of political conditions on the one hand, and the agony of love and longing on the other. At times, his ghazal was directed towards appealing to the ruler, using emotional language and themes of submission and hope for pardon. At other times, it was aimed at his beloved (Wallada bint al-Mustakfi), expressing his loss and personal tragedy through a language that blended reproach, yearning, and regret.
This study reveals how ghazal during the Taifa period, particularly in Ibn Zaydun’s poetry, evolved from merely describing the beloved to becoming a means of expressing deeper psychological crises. These were closely tied to the historical and political context the poet experienced, turning ghazal into a space for self-reflection, a voice for a wounded soul, and a subtle message to both ruler and beloved alike.
