The research aims to identify theimpact of digital media on the development of social skills in children (early childhood stage). It used the descriptive analytical approach and the questionnaire tool on a sample of (55) respondents from caregivers in early childhood centers in Damascus. The research concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are: Digital media has an acceptable effect on the development of cooperation skills in children in terms of the child's participation in various motor activities and his use of his friends' tools when needed. Digital media has a limited impact on developing children's emotional participation and order skills. Digital media also has an acceptable effect on the development of order skills for children in terms of the child's adherence to his role when asked.

This study aims to explore how the Arabic-language Captain Ella’s Profile employs various ideas, methods, and symbolic cues, and to analyze the nature of the Israeli political discourse that has attracted Arab and Palestinian audiences to engage with the page. The research adopts a descriptive approach, and discourse analysis as a qualitative method, the research analyzes written, spoken, and visual content to uncover underlying meanings and the political, religious, and social agendas embedded within the posts. The analysis focuses on content published between July 1 and September 30, 2023. The findings reveal that the page strategically uses religious references tied to time and place to reinforce the Israeli narrative and frequently links the Arabic language with Islam to construct targeted meanings. Furthermore, the page adopts an indirect communication style, portraying the Israeli army as humane and life-loving.

The research addressed the importance of job satisfaction and the role of public relations in achieving it within the endowment offices. It relied on a field survey methodology through a purposive sample of 116 individuals working in various media outlets at the headquarters of the Sunni Endowment Office. The study reached several key findings, most notably that the level of job satisfaction among public relations practitioners is not merely a feeling of comfort with the job, but rather reflects employees' connection to their institutions and their sense of achievement. They also feel proud when performing tasks with high quality and dedication. Public relations performance is considered a major factor in improving the work environment and increasing productivity. It plays a vital role in developing programs aimed at enhancing communication channels between employees and management, as well as offering workshops.

The study examines the effectiveness levels of smartphone applications in shaping the mental image of telecommunications companies. It serves as a user survey, aiming to determine how much users depend on mobile and smart device applications. The findings yielded various results, with the most notable being the benefits respondents experienced from using smartphone applications at different levels. Social media services emerged as the most frequently-used application, accounting for 24.3%. In second place, respondents reported viewing movies, television shows, and video clips—either individually or while working—at a frequency of 21.6%. Additionally, users expressed a positive view regarding telecommunications companies' efforts to enhance their mental image and serve the public. Users rated the first rank for these efforts as "very good" at 28% and rated the second rank as "good" at 26.6%..

A questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection. The study yielded several findings, the most important of which is that experts and specialists in specific fields are considered reliable sources that respondents depend on when verifying information. This is attributed to their specialization and knowledge, as experts possess deep understanding and extensive experience in their areas of expertise, enabling them to provide accurate and trustworthy information. The study also found that university students’ motivations for using digital platforms to verify information play a significant role in combating misinformation and fake news.

The research studied the interest levels of the Iraqi public in electronic news websites covering violations of children's rights, as such violations have become public and can no longer be ignored. The main research question was: What are the levels of interest of the Iraqi public in content related to violations of children's rights in electronic newspapers? The study is descriptive, using the field survey method and a questionnaire to examine public opinion on the topic. The research population included the public in Baghdad, with a sample from both Al-Karkh and Al-Rusafa. A total of 400 questionnaires were analyzed. Results showed that 34.66% of respondents follow the Tariq Al-Shaab newspaper website, while follow-up to other websites varied slightly. The data also showed that 61% of the sample follow electronic newspapers several times a week, ranging between three to five days.

This research examines the media coverage of the proceedings of the Arab Summit held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, in 2025, as presented in the Iraqi newspapers under study (Al-Sabah and Al-Mashriq). The researcher employed the descriptive analytical survey method, with the research population consisting of newspaper issues that addressed the topic of the Arab Summit's media coverage in the Iraqi print press. The content analysis form was used as the primary research tool.
The study found that political topics ranked highest in coverage, followed by security and economic issues, respectively. However, security topics appeared with relatively similar frequency in both newspapers. It was also revealed that one of the most relied-upon sources in both newspapers’ coverage of the Arab Summit was official sources.

The study aims to explore the extent to which university students rely on media literacy to enhance awareness of inappropriate digital content, focusing on understanding such content and identifying media skills that enable students to distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate materials. The research population includes students from the College of Media at the Iraqi University, Al-Sadr University College, and Al-Turath University College. The researcher adopted a descriptive method, using a questionnaire to collect relevant data from a purposive sample of 320 students selected according to scientific criteria. The results revealed that digital media literacy plays an active role in raising students’ awareness of the risks of inappropriate media content. Moreover, the findings indicated that students have developed the ability to recognize fake and misleading news thanks to media literacy skills, which also helped them become more cautious about unwise social media use.

Electronic advertising is a modern tool that influences internet users by directly or indirectly reshaping social values. It seeks to alter family ties, shift fashion trends among men and women, increase interest in Western food, and promote Western culture at the expense of Arab culture. This leads to a central question: What role do electronic ads play in affecting the cultural identity of Iraqi society? The researcher set several goals to obtain scientific results, mainly to explore the impact of electronic ads on cultural identity by studying inherited traditions and original social customs. The study also aims to identify how these ads help spread new cultures and affect behaviors and consumption patterns in society. This is a descriptive study that applied the survey method, using questionnaires distributed to a sample of individuals who frequently watch and interact with electronic advertisements..

This research addresses the weak acting performance of some stereotypical actors in cinema and television and their inability to interact effectively with elements of visual discourse, especially the camera lens. The study aims to identify causes of this weakness and analyze the relationship between the actor’s performance and the director’s vision, and its impact on achieving artistic excellence. The research used a descriptive-analytical method, employing content analysis on a purposive sample from dramatic works. The research community included several actors from television and cinema, with the sample intentionally selected for analysis. The findings showed weak interaction of stereotypical actors with visual language, lack of effective directorial guidance in performance development, and significant variation in interaction skills among actors. These results highlight the need to improve actor training tools and enhance collaboration between actors and directors to raise artistic quality.

The study explored how sociological manifestations appear in the artworks of Art Education students, aiming to uncover social dimensions in their visual expressions. Using a descriptive-analytical method, the researcher analyzed 4 selected paintings from a group of 20. Findings revealed that students’ works reflect personal and societal influences shaped by identity, environment, and awareness. This research investigates the patterns of Iraqi youth exposure to digital media, highlighting the psychological dimensions often overlooked in relation to the formation of social values. With the widespread use of mobile phones, daily interaction with digital platforms has become a significant part of youth culture. The study aims to examine both the habits and motivations behind this media consumption. Utilizing a descriptive approach and a survey methodology, data were collected from a sample of 450 respondents in Baghdad. Results indicate that the primary motivation for using digital media was “exploring the wider world” (91.2%), followed by “learning new useful things” (89.77%), and “entertainment” (89%). The findings underscore the need to consider psychological and value-based impacts in studies of digital media use among youth.
