About the Journal
Description
Al-Rafidain Dental Journal (RDENTJ) is an English language, double-blind peer reviewing system to ensure the quality of the publication, scholarly publication in the area of dentistry, and open access journal, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication. All articles published in the RDENTJ are open-access and immediately available to read, download, and share. All manuscripts should be submitted through our online manuscript management system. The author should first register in our system and then submit their manuscript. Publishing under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY) license permits users to read, print, and download, or redistribute, translate, and download the article for text and data mining purposes, or reuse portions or extracts from the article in other works. This journal has been published biannually by the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul, Iraq, since 2001. We will use iThenticate to check plagiarism before sending it to reviewers, which should be no more than 20%. We will notify the corresponding authors about their manuscripts through our online system within one to two months.
The referred scientific Journal deals with fields of dental sciences, and as an open-access journal, publishing an article in this journal requires an Article Processing Charge (APC) that will be billed to the submitting author following acceptance. There are no other fees (for example, submission, page, or color charges). The Article Processing Charge for the journal is 100.000 IQD for authors. No governmental or non-governmental organization financially supports the journal.
Al-Rafidain Dental Journal publishes original research papers in all dental fields, including periodontics, orthodontics, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, preventive and pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, oral medicine and pathology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental biomaterials, as well as clinically relevant oral biology and pharmacotherapy. The entire journal\'s archive is available online (since 2001), and all articles are freely available online.

Al-Rafidain Dental Journal is the official publication of the Iraqi Dental Society and is published by Mosul University, College of Dentistry.
Aims:
The journal invites original work, and clinical and dental research in various fields of dentistry and related medical practice. Aiming to promote scientific dental sciences, and presented them to researchers and academic students of dentistry. Papers written in English are sent for consideration to Editor–in–chief, the College of Dentistry, University of Mosul.
Scope:
Al-Rafidain Dental Journal publishes original research articles and brief communications, systematic reviews, study protocols, research hypotheses, reports of cases, comments, and perspectives in fields of :
