The Iraqi Journal of Laser is a refereed research journal published twice annually by the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad. It provides a media for publication of original unpublished research papers, notes and review articles describing laser fundamentals, techniques, instrumentation, and the use of laser in natural and engineering sciences, medicine, agriculture and other fields. Manuscripts are submitted with a letter to the editor-in-chief including a request for publishing the manuscript, manuscript title with author’s names written in Arabic with a commitment that the manuscript has not been submitted to any other journal.

Journal Scope

Iraqi Journal of Laser (IJL) journal is a peer-reviewed, Open-Access journal that aims to publish original research articles, positive results, negative results, and findings obtained from rigorously proposed and carried out investigations and studies that are technically sound and scientifically high impact. Iraqi Journal of Laser published twice annually by the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad.

Iraqi Journal of Laser is a multidisciplinary journal that welcomes contributions from the broad laser and optics technology and their applications in physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, dentistry, and medicine.

The Iraqi Journal of Laser is an open-access journal. Furthermore, all open-access articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which allows for free use, distribution, and reproduction in any form as long as the original work is properly cited.
