1. Designing a program using computers for the measurement of psychological of basketball players.
2. Revealing the differences between theoretical means of scales and sample response on psychological stress scales (physical preparation, psychological energy, personality type، administrative stress, social stress) of basketball players.
The sample of the study was consisted of (12) players who play in Mousl university basketball team, and the data was collected through the psychological stress inventory was adapted from (Al Goreary 2006 )
The Researchers concludes :
1. Efficiency of the program designed in the measurement of the psychological stress of basketball players.
2. basketball players suffer from stress physical of preparation and psychological energy stress.
The researchers recommends the following:
1. Using the program designed to estimate the degree of various psychological stress of basketball players.
2. the application of psychological tests , periodically to estimate the degree of psychological stress on basketball players.

The individual acute (borderline) disturbance is one of the disturbances that the attention of scholars and researchers in psychology & psychological medicine regarding to prediction and measurement . This attention was behind the appearance of many theories and conceptions about the building of this kind of character on the one hand and appearance of various measurement tools for this kind one the other . The current research is interested in adapting a new personalizing tool or means for the reality of the local environment through providing a measurement tool that helps workers in the clinical field to understand and diagnose this morbid case . The importance of this research can be shown in the dependence on another theory that has a vital role in understanding the dynamic nature of this character which is called " Kerenberg " theory . The researcher attempted – modestly - to present a brief summary of the dimensions of this theory , along with a presentation of the measurement tools that appeared recently in this field . The researcher also reviewed a number of previous studies and variables that have been studied along with this character . The research used a number of statistical means as liaison correlation coefficient "Person " and t-test to know the differences amongst these samples (sex– specialization) in this kind of character . The researcher also presented a number of suggestions and recommendation that could provide the value of the research and used measurement tool in future studies whether it is local or comparative .

The research tackles the social characteristics of the believers in magic as a cure in the Mosuli society, i.e. the characteristics that influence the individnal`s treatment of wizards and his belief in the curing role of magic. The research sample consists of ten cases. The researcher adopts the case study approach and the anthropological one in his study of the cases. The instruments of collecting data and recording the cases of the research include the tellers of the case besides the interview and observation. The research concludes that the belief in the curing role of magic is not cofined to the illiterate or the low leveled people; It extends to the high- leveled people- This belief extends also to the religious people; i.e. to the people who follow the religious learning like prayer and fasting.

This research studies the Quranic recitations and explains their effect on semantic expansion . The subject has been introduced by two parts. The first defines Quranic recitation and shows the prerequisites of the proper recitation generally agreed upon by scholars . The seven reciters have been chronologically ordered taking into account the first reciters who singled out a separate book . Regarding the second part, semantics, the term of semantic expansion, and the method followed in the application of the term have been introduced.

This paper deals with the realization of the explanatiu of Al-Anfaal verse depending on Al-Siyooti explanation iu his book entitled The Breasts of the Virgins and the erratic Ideas which is a comment on the explanation of Al Baythawi cntitled The Lights of Descent and the Secrets of Interpretation .

Since divorce was mentioned in the Holly Quraan Holy Koran divorce twice , either to keep in custody or leave each other in peace ((Al-Baqara 299)) ,and in the Sunngh, authorities agree on its felicity but differ in the spirit of the judgment. Most of them agree on its permissible and may not be permitted in other cases while the rest ban such case with only few exceptions . Nevertheless, authorities agree that such case is restricted by religious laws to determine either acceptable subjective , or obligatory as well as hated or a sinful , according to the circumstances and accompanying situations but due to its hazard and its effect on the family and community , religious laws put some constraints to lessen its spread , to protect the wife from being lost , the children of being stranded, and the society of being broken , resulting in lessening divorce cases

This study is about the hero in the poetry of Ali bin Khalaf Al-Huweizi. It is the story of a worrior, a biography of a prince, an image of a character narrated and witnessed by the poet himself in different periods of time, where the poem envisages what is hidden in the description of the hero as well as defining his image, characteristics and deeds in the world of reality. This is due to the fact that the poet is a linguistic witness of what is observed or felt, what circled around the inner self and essence, creating formula and looking for certain values in the light of the motives and aims he has. Eventually, the hero may represent an image which is strongly related to the inner self as well as the object of the poem, rather than randomly accumulated to form a structure with no explicit features.

The liberation of Al-Qudus by Salah Al- Deen Al- Ayooby in 583A.H/1187A.D. was considered a very important event in the Islamic History.
The city was a holy place since it was conquered by Muslims , and treatment was settled with Patrach of Al-Qudus and the caliph Ummar , son of Al-Khttab.
The Muslims treated all the people of Al-Qudus justly and kindly. The city suffered from Crusaders in the year 491A.H./1097A.D,when they occupied it , and killed all its people.
The Crusaders stayed in Al-Qudus about one hundred years, until it was liberated by Salah Al-Deen , who treated the Crusaders in a different way and allowed them to leave the city without weapons.

The research tackled the biography of Kuttada Bin Da'ama Al- Sadoosy including his method of historical narration, his own believe and doctrine. Some of the traditional scholars accused him of being follower of Al Qadaria Doctrine, the fact that forced him to give up some of his thoughts related to that doctrine. The research proved that he hadnir hadn't been a follower of Al Qadaria, but had been a follower of Ahl –Alsunna Wal Jama'a, and our evidence for this is that the six famous his narration and trusted him. They were unanimously agreed upon his owners of the books depended credibility of narrating Al Hadith. Kuttada was distinguished of being persistant of following up detaik. As for his attitude about AL-Isnad, he didn’t depend on it at the beginning, as the traditional narrators. He used to say: I was told that Umar Bin Al-Khattab was that prophet Mohammed had said ----etc. Then, he adopted Al-Isand in his narration by saying: "I asked Mutraf and I asked Sa'ed Bin Al-Mussayab, and Anass Bin Malik had told us ---- etc. Thus, documentation of Al- Hadith was installed.

The Crisis of Iranian nuclear program arised on the international arena since 2002 after Mujahidi-khalq organization had explored the existence of Secret nuclear reactor in Iran . The Iranian government did not explore this to the International Agency for Atomic Energy . Since then , the crisis began to be complicated gradually and U.S.A threatened to handle this file to the Security Council in order to impose international sanctions on Iran . In the light of this crisis and in order not to face Iran militarily , E.U. had adopted through (Britain , Germany and France) holding negotiations with Iran to stop its program . These negotiations has started at the end of 2003 and has continued for more than four years . European states presented for Iran trade , economic and technical motives but all these efforts went in vain . This has pushed International Security Council to impose international Sanctions on Iran on March , 3 , 2008 . These sanctions has ended the negotiations between Iran and E.U. and has limited the issue with the international Agency .

This research aims at defining the effect of the motor exploring style on developing the motor – sensory abilities of slow-learners. The sample is the pupils of Osama bin Zaid primary school for boys . They are (11) in number .
In order to equalize the sample in the main variables, the researcher equated the (weight, height, and mental age).
To measure the motor-sensory cognitive abilities of the sample, the researcher used the modified Haywood test, consisting of sex items: Stability of volume total and partial visual cognition, realize body parts, distinguishing the right and left parts of the body, moving balance, locating the place. The following statistical means are used analyze the results (mathematical means, standard deviation, variance coefficient,
T-test for related sample.

- Constructing and applying an academic adjustment scale of the students at the college of Physical education University of Mosul.
- Expounding the level of academic adjustment among students at the College of Physical Education at the University of Mosul .
The descriptive survey method was utilized because it was appropriate for the nature of the study . The population of the study were the students of the College of Physical Education at the University of Mosul for the academic year (2007-2008) . The number of students were (693) both male and female . The study sample consisted of (470) male and female student from the College of Physical Education selected on purpose from the population of the study . The sample was divided into two groups in which (306) male and female students (65%) represented the constructing group and (164) male and female students (35%) represented the application group . The researcher used the academic adjustment scale constructed in the study for students at the College of Physical Education at the University of Mosul . The construction procedure included : (first investigation test of the scale , initial forming of the items of each field , determining the apparent truth of the scale , second investigation test of the scale , validity of construction (statistical analysis of items) using the two extreme groups method , internal consistency and reliability by Test - Re Test Method) .

The research aims at being acquainted with
• The degree of group cohesion between graduate students of physical education college and other colleges of engineering , dentistry, and education at the university of Mosul
• The degree of difference of group cohesion level between graduate-collegiate students of physical education and other colleges of engineering, dentistry and education at the university of Mosul
The descriptive method with causal comparative style was used since it is convenient to the nature of the research. The sample included 260 male and female graduate students of the academic year of (2007-2008) of physical education college and other colleges of engineering , dentistry and education at the university of Mosul. The scale of athletic team cohesion by Allawi was used as instrument to collect data. The mean, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient, one sample “t” test, ANOVA, LSD, proposed mean of the scale and percentage

The study aimed at:
- Constructing a social responsibility scale of male students practicing sport activities in Mosul University.
- Exploring the level of social responsibility of male students practicing sport activities in Mosul University.
The descriptive method was utilized using a survey method, as it was appropriate to the nature of the study. The population of the study consisted of (760) students practicing sport activities from all colleges in the university of Mosul except the college of Education for Girls because it does not have male students. The study sample was divided into two groups ; (494) male students (65%) represented the constructing group and ( 226) male students (35%) represented the application group . The researcher used the social responsibility scale as a tool to collect the data. The construction procedure included

The study aims at identifying the individual characteristics which distinguish players in different positions. To achieve this aim , it has been assumed that there are no significant differences in the individual characteristics in these players according to their different positions. The corpus consists of 96 players participating in the northern region qualifications (2006 – 2007), 12 players for each club. Frybourg list which includes 56 items that measures eight dimensions of individual characteristics in team games has been used . The data have been statistically analysed by using the mean differences analysis and L.S.D. It has been concluded that:

Teaching is a form of interpersonal influence aimed at changing the behaviour potential of another person (Amidon and Hunter, 1966: 1). In this sense, the teacher is considered the basic element in the teaching system.
Hence, through pre-service teachers\' preparation programs, student-teachers receive the essential information about teaching skills which enables them to commence their performance (Al-Yassen, 2007: 11-13). Building on this, we as educators need to provide our student-teachers with opportunities for practicing the teaching process. Teachers of English as a foreign language must, in addition to language, have many skills which make the communication easy to stimulate their learners and provide them with extra keys for learning. In this way, teaching practice refers to the practicing of various teaching skills associated with the role of the teacher (Cohen and Manion, 1978: 1).
