Abstract
The present study deals with factors of organizational conflict ( independent variable , represented
by difference in values , aims and interests , dependency among department and organizational change )
, the strategies of managing it ( medium variable , including , avoidance , withdrawal , competition and
cooperation ) and their effect in achieving the strategic performance ( dependent variable ) due to a
number of indexes represented by finance , customer , inner operation , learning and growth perspective
. The probtem of the study is about the role of factors of conflict and the strategies of managing it in
achieving the strategic performance .
Health sector is chosen , including governmental and non- governmental hospital in Karbala
governorate , for it is one of the most important serving sectors which affects people's health and
psychology . The question is how can organizations transform the negative phases of tfr conflict into
positive ones ? And how can it be a motive to stimulate competition and innovation among individuals
which might increase the efficiency of strategic performance in organizations ?
