The current research aims to identify the relation between achievement for third year students of Biology branch College of Basic education in the subject of environment and pollution and their environmental consciousness. The researcher put the following hypothesis” there is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the achievement of the students of biology branch and their environmental consciousness”. The researcher depended on the grades of final exam environment and pollution taught at the first semester of the year 2006/2007 and applied environmental consciousness made by (Ali, 2005) to environmental consciousness for students with the use of pearson conjunction factor as a statistical method, The researcher found that the Correlation factor reaching (0.753) and with the calculation of (t) the value was (4.854) bigger than the scheduled value reading (2.10) thus rejecting null hypothesis of the absence of statistically significant relation between the students achievement in environment and pollution material and their environmental consciousness .

The study aims at answering the following questions:
1. What is the political education?
2. What are its aims and means?
3. Does the political education affect the students? if any, what are these areas of effect?
4. What are measures of the political education?
The significance of the present study lies in that the political education is, on the one hand, a prerequisite to cope with the ongoing change. On the other hand, it helps us to achieve the national security. Security, in its turn, will modernize the pedagogical and educational process that leads to new methods of the political and social education for the students.

The research aimed to know the impact 0f social skills training style on development social and psychological adjustment, for slow learners pupils . The sample consisted (12) pupils on slow learners pupils, those pupils registered the lowest grades in the social and psychological adjustment scale .Their scores on that a measurement were considered as apre-test .Then were divided into two groups. The experimental group was practiced the social skills training style through eight meetings of counseling. The control group did not practice any style. Using Wilcoxon test for dependent groups and Mann_ Whitney independent groups, the results show statistical differences between the experimental group and the control one at (0, 05) level and for the benefit of the experimental group. In the light of those results, a number of recommendations and suggestions were given.

The research aims at comparing repetition and illustration styles in the behavioral adaptation of special education pupils and their achievement in general science subject for the academic year(2003-2004)

Al - Wahda secret news paper was issued in Iraq after the 14 th July movement , 1958 . It was the voice of the Arab nationalists in Iraq and the first paper in the time of the republic followed by other secret national papers of political parties and organizations practised the secret work during the time of Abdul – Kareem Qasim (1958 – 1963). The study basically deals with AL – Wahda secret paper , its contents , articles , and secret places of publication in Iraq and attitudes towards national issues (14 th of July , 1958 , increase of communist party influence , Mosul movement , 8 th March , 1959 , the National Front , oil and national unity, in addition to its attitudes towards the national issues like the unity between Syria and Egypt , 1958 , the separation movement Sept., 1961 , non- alliance movement and the Palestinian issue ..

The problem of the research is the ignorance of coaches and athletes to use the convenient rest from unairobic effort, either a rest recovery or relative rest recovery , and the intensity of the exercise recovery.
The study aimed at discovering the values of the pulse rate as a field pointer during recovery period for 8 min., by using two kinds of recovery rest and exercise recovery with two experimental intensities 20% and 30%, and comparing these values with each other.
To achieve these aims , the researcher chose a sample of 7 students from the second stage/ Physical Education Dep.

The research aimed to define the following variation in the degree of psychological Burnout phenomena among Basket Ball Referees according to the variable of Referee degree (international and first). The research sample consisted (12) Referees chosen according to the deliberate method (6) from international degree. degree retirees and (6) from first degree referees all actually registered in list of the Branch federation of Iraqi Basket Ball.

The study showed to testing susceptibility of some cotton varieties Taka 1 , Lashata , Nazly 87 , Delta pine 50 , Stonvile 474 , Stonvile 887 at kuba region in Ninevah Governorate during the year 2005 to infection with some insects and mites was outlined the cotton varieties was infected in different degrees with white fly Bemisia tabaci Gen. Aphis gossypii Glov., Empoasca spp . , Thrips tabaci Lind and Tetranychus urticae koch .
The general mean numbers of these pests on varieties Taka 1 , Lashata , Nazly 87 , Delta pine 50 , Stonvile 474 , Stonvile 887 reached 3.26 , 3.0 , 2.25 , 2.82 , 3.34 , 3.68 individual / 20 leaves respectively. The number of white fly was the highest significantly 6.67 individual / 20 leaves among other pests ، while the mean number of aphid was the lowest mean 1.37 individual / 20 leaves .

This study investigates the effect of food contamination on the prevalence of amoebiasis in Ninevah province in the year 2004 – 2005. 5093 stool samples were tested directly from both human sexes (whose ages range between 1–45 years) for Entamoeba histolytica. Results showed highest infections in June and October 2004 with an infection rate of 11%, and the least in April and December an infection rate of 6% while in 2005 the highest infection was in August with a rate of 13% .The least infection rate was at March with 2% .

Several studies have reported that readers activate goal inferences as they read action statement in different texts. As such, the purpose of this study is to examine two hypotheses: (1) Readers of EFL perform well in activating goal inferences. (2) The activation of goal inferences, automatically during reading, depends on readers’ level of experience reading EFL. To test these hypotheses, a strategy called (Question-and-answer relationship) has been used where subjects are required to read narrative passages and answer questions about each action statement. The data indicate that subjects are good in activating the two types of goal inferences, viz. superordinate and subordinate; and that readers’ experience in reading EFL has a great advantage in activating these inferences spontaneously during reading rather than after reading completion.

The aim of this research is to investigate the reasons of using everyday Egyptian dialect instead of Standard Arabic in translating cartoon series and the vocabulary built by children watching these series. No matter what they meant, the resulting vocabulary and its lone words, are used by children, regardless of their positive or negative meanings(i.e. connotations), in addition to their social implications.
The outcome of such a trend is the forgetfulness, or at least, weakening the grammar, rules, and conditions of using Standard Arabic, the heavy use of everyday dialect whenever facing a difficult linguistic situation, weaken the creative aspects of children in composition in particular and expressing themselves and what they want in general
