A study was conducted to find the relationship between physiological
“choke A disorder” and fruit humidity, dry matter and calcium in Iraqi
banana fruit in the different ripening stages. The result showed significant
differences in the level of humidity and dry matter between the left tip
and the base tip of the imperfect fruit that the left tip of the imperfect fruit
content a higher ratio of humidity comparing it with the base tip as well
as there was significant increase in the ratio of the dry matter and the
calcium in the base tip in the imperfect fruit comparing it with its left
tip.From this study we can conclude that the high humidity content and
the little quantity calcium in the left tip in the fruits has an important role
in the appearance symptoms of choke a disorder in Iraqi banana fruit

In this paper, we introduce the generating function, Mehler’s formula, Roger’s formula, the linearization formula and the inverse relation of the linearization formula of the polynomials G_n (x;q), which is defined by L.Carlitz [3]. Also we introduce an extension of the generating function and extension of the Roger’s formula, the extended generating function of G_n (x;q) involves a 2ϕ1 sum and the extended Rogers formula involves a 3ϕ2 sum. All identities will be derived depending on the roles of the exponential operator E(θ) after representing the polynomials G_n (x;q) by this operator.

Anew ligand [4(-dimethylamino)benzaldehyde(5-phenyl-1.3.4-oxadiazole-2-yl)hydrazone] (L) and its Cr(III),Fe(III) Co(II), Ni(II)and Cu(II) complexes were synthesized. The authenticity of the ligand and its transition metal complexes were established by elemental analyses, conductance and magnetic susceptibility measurements, as well as spectroscopic (IR, 1HNMR, mass). . It may be concluded that the ligand coordinate through Nitrogen atoms as shown in figure (3). for all the complexes. The ligand acts as a didentate ligand coordinating through the oxadiazole nitrogen[N11] and the nitrogen atom of shiff bace [N13]. This view is further supported by the appearance of a band corresponding to the metal–nitrogen stretching vibration at 503–597 cm–1 in the complexes. The magnetic studies suggest an tetrahedral and octahedral geometry of the complexes .the Ni and Cu atoms leading to the formation tetrahedral geometry .Octahedral geometry was proposed for the(Cr(III),Fe(III)andCo(III)prepared complexes

A survey study was carried out in this research to enumerate the the number of patients at Nasseria chest diseases centre of tuberculosis from year 2007 to year 2009 and the total number was 3342 person ,the number 535 person have TB infection that percentage 16.01%and 2807 person no infection that percentage 83.99%. The aim of research to Sensitivity of Ziehl-Nelsen stain suptum of Identificatin Mycobacterium tuberculosis from ill persons that come to Nasseria center for exmining chest and respiratory system from year( 2007 – 2009).the percentage of that cases from the tatal numbers and discovery the kind infections tuberculosis or no tuberculosis and take percentage from year 2007-2009.

The purpose of this paper is to define two of types mappings in G-metric spaces and find the fixed points of these mappings. The first type is called several contractive mappings, where we define the contraction condition on the closure of an orbit, where the orbit is bounded and orbitally complete. Also, we will discuss the uniqueness of a fixed point only in this orbit. Finally, we prove the existence of a fixed point for surjective expansive mapping

Radon, thoron and their progenies are the most important contributions to human exposure from natural sources. Radon is a natural radioactivity gas without dour, color or taste, it comes from uranium decay. Uranium is a natural radioactivity material found in varying amounts in all rock, soil, concrete and bricks. This study assesses the indoor radon, thorn and their progeny in some dwelling in Zubair northwest of Basrah city by using Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors (SSNTD) type CN- 85. The value of concentration of radon ranges from 12.169 (Bq/m³) to 99.470 Bq/m³ and with an average 50.216 Bq/m³, where the value of thoron concentration ranges from 4.569 Bq/m³ to 35.729 Bq/m³ with an average 16.134 Bq / m³.The range of radon progeny and thorn progeny from 1.31 mWL to 10.75 mWL and from 1.66 mWL to 12.99 mWL respectively . The inhalation dose for radon and thorn (Rn + Tn) varies from 0.255 mSv/y to 2.067 mSv/y .The annual exposure to radon and thorn (Rn + Tn) in terms of WLM ranges from 0.106 to 0.854. The annual effective dose for radon and thorn (Rn + Tn) was ranges from 0.411 mSv/y to 3.88 mSv/y with an average value of 1.597 mSv/y.

Functional properties of wheat germ protein concentrate and defatted wheat germ flour were assessed under various conditions and the results revealed the following:The solubility of wheat germ protein concentrate and defatted wheat germ flour gave higher solubility at pH( 8 )reached to( 60.2 and 30.4) respectively comparing with natural pH and pH(4).Water absorption was increased at natural pH of wheat germ protein concentrate and defatted wheat germ compared with (4 and 8) it reached to( 2.4 , 2) respectively.wheat germ protein concentrate and defatted wheat germ flour showed same ability to fat binding comparing with egg albumin. Wheat germ protein concentrate and defatted wheat germ flour showed the ability to form foam in concentration (1%,2%) and different pH the major capability to form foam find for both of two products in concentration( 2%) and pH8.the two products showed higher emulsifying properties in the weight of sample 2gm and pH8. Viscosity of the products measured at 1% and (2%) concentration and under various temperatures(30,40,50 ºC) the results showed that viscosity was increased with increase of concentration and decrease with the raise of temperature, the best results find for two products at( 2%) ) concentration and 30ºC.

The mixed ligand complexes of Cr(III),Fe(III)and La(III)with 1-nitroso-2-naphthol (C10H7NO2), symbolized(NNPhH)] and amino acid[L-leucine(C6H13NO2) , symbolized (Leu H), were synthesized and characterized by: Melting points, Solubility, Molar conductivity. determination the percentage of the metal in the complexes by flame(AAS), magnetic susceptibility measurements, chloride ion content. Spectroscopic Method [FT-IR and UV-Vis], and Program [Chem office–CS. Chem.– 3D pro 2004] was used.The results showed that the deprotonated tow ligands acts as a bidentate ligand , (leu -) was coordinated to the metal ions through the oxygen of the carboxylic group and the nitrogen of the amine and the 1-nitroso-2-naphthol ligand was coordinated to the metal ions through the oxygen. Octahedral geometry for Cr(III),Fe(III),and La(III) are proposed.

In this study we examined 21 samples of hedgehogs Hemiechinus auritus we found all of hedgehogs(100%) are infected with one or more of helminthes. The study appeared that hedgehogs Hemiechinus auritus are infected with six types of helminthes these are: Mathevotaenia erinacei, Monilliforms monilliforms Pterygodermatites, plagiostoma, Capillaria erinacei, physaloptera. Sp . and Crenosoma striatum with rate infections are : % respectively; 76. 4 %; 4.76%; 4.76 %; 33.33; %19.04%; 57.14 Higher infestation were with M. erinacei57.14) %) and lower with C. erinacei , Crenosoma striatum and Physaloptera sp. (4.76% for all ).The species Crenosoma striatum and Capillaria. erinacei were recorded for the first time in long eared hedgehog as intermediate and final host in Iraq .

Four new complexes of polydentate amide ligands with Uranyl(VI) have been prepared by the reaction of the hot ethanolic solution of N,N‾-bis-(3-carboxy-1-oxoprop-2-enyl)-1,2-ethylenediamine (L1), N,N‾-bis-(3-carboxy-1-oxoprop-2-enyl) hydra zine (L2), N,N‾-bis-(3-carboxy-1-oxoprop-2-enyl)-1,2-phenylenediamine (L3) and N,N‾-bis-(3-carboxy-1-oxopropanyl)hydrazine (L4) with aqueous solution of Uranyl acetate. The four new complexes were studied by elemental analysis, ultra violet – visible spectra and infra red spectroscopy. Vibrational spectra indicate coordination of amide and carboxalate oxygen’s of the ligands along with one water molecule giving a UO2(VI) complexes with heptacoordination . Electronic spectra support the coordination of ligands with uranyl ions to form the UO2(VI) complexes.

The present study is included and evaluation activity cisplatin infection of Fasciola gigantica in vivo , also studying pathogenic effects on the liver and kidney , Gave this mice dosage 25 metacercaria. This dosage causes for mice after 1 months from infection formed tracks in liver , This study appeared that cisplatin activity in killing parasite in liver and caused decrease histological change in liver and kidney compared with control group

The aim of this study is to produce sheets of microwave absorbing materials using Graphite in different concentrations (5wt.% - 40wt.%) and dispersed in a Soft Polyurethane Foam matrix. The study also aims to measure the electromagnetic properties (transmission, return loss and relative absorbed power) of these sheets in the x-band frequency range (8.5–12.4) GHz using closed waveguide technique .It is found that the lower value of Return Loss is (-30dB) in less than (5wt.%) graphite loading, and the relative absorbed power are close to (5%) of the incident radiation in all frequencies. The higher value of the return loss is (-18dB) in (30wt.%) Graphite loading, and the relative absorbed power value is close to (25%) of the incident radiation in 10GHz. These composites are very useful in producing the EMI Shielding, absorbing sheets and microwave anechoic chambers.

This study was carried out to determine the effect of salt ( Nacl ) on Potato Invitro class Diamant and on the bacteria isolated fromit.The results elucidate a that the addition of Nacl in 25.0% concentration has No asgnificant effect in plantlets Length, Roots Length,number of leaves and fresh, dry weight,in contrast with control.While the treatment with 1% Nacl has give the lowest average in potato plantlets length Invitro which reached 2.01 cm .Root length 2.91 cm ,leaves number 2 leaf/fresh 6.62 mg weight 153.52 mg, dry weight 6.62 mg .While there is no growth to potato plantlets Invitro at 1.5 % Nacl Four bacterial Isolates diagnosed from the contaminated potato culture :Bacillus spp.40% ,Xanthomonas 29%, Staphylococcus 20%, Pseudo monas 11% from culturing of axillary buds of potato. While the lastest genus doesnot isolated when culturing of the apical meristem of potato .And was evident from the results that the treatment media with Nacl had high effect to decrease the bacterial contamination in contrast with control.

One hundred fifty isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated from foods and food worker s, distributed as: 42 isolates from milk, 22 from salads, 17 from meat, 14 from local cheese, 12 from chicken , 30 from nasal swabs and 13 from body swabs of food workers. The ability of S. aureus isolates for enterotoxin production was detected by SET-RPLA Kit Oxoid, and showed that 80.6% of the isolates were positive for enterotoxin production. Susceptibility of the isolates to eleven antibiotics was detected. The isolates showed high resistance against methicillin, ampicillin and amoxicillin. The resistance ranged between 60 to 66.6%for cephalothin, ciprofloxacin, trimethoprim, cefotaxime, erythromycin and chloramphenicol. Resistance to vancomycin was 16%. Polymerase chain reaction technique was used for detection the presence of toxic shock syndrome toxin genes(TSST-genes) in the DNA of 100 isolates of S. aureus which were methicillin resistance and enterotoxin producers. They appeared that only six isolates were carried TSST-genes, four isolates from food workers and two from milk samples.

The Non- Local approximation for the effect of coverag on the charge transfer process in the hyper – thermal energies regime, is one of the most important subject in surface physics . And to study this effect due to the recoil of the adatom through out the scattering of atom from surface covered with alkali atoms , Anderson Hamiltonian is used which incorporates the interaction of the scattering atom with the adatom and the interaction of the adatom with the surface atoms. Since the atom is scattered from the adatom and the charge transfer happens through out resonance and quasi-resonance charge transfer. The Hamiltonian incorporates also the electron-phonon coupling interaction .The system of equations for scattered atom-adatom/ surface is treated using the wide band approximation . The system of equations are solved numerically using six-order Runge-Kutta method with the accuracy is checked at each time . The treatment is applied to real system , that is Li-K/W, since the ionization probability of the scattered atom and the position of the atomic energy level with respect to Fermi level are studied as function of surface work function variations.

The study was carry out from Jul. to Dec. 2010 in aimed to detect the presence of emetic toxin gene in isolates of Bacillus cereus isolated from different types of foods from local market at Al-Nasiriya city. Specific PCR primer was used for amplification of the genes. The results showed that 25(41.6%) of 60 B. cereus isolates were carred for emetic gene. The higher percentage was 50% found among the isolates from cooked rice and fishes.

Spectrum of the unperturbed second derivative operator is investigated. Spectral asymptotics for operator is calculated. It is proven that the gaps between the spectral bands disappear when .

The aim of the present study was to determine the percentages of blood voluntaries in Iraq and detect the infection of Hepatitis B and C among them during 2008 and 2009.A total of 871973 blood voluntaries were enrolled in the present study, whom consulted the main blood transfusion units in Iraq and subjected to the detection of Hepatitis A and B tests by ELISA technique.The results showed a blood voluntary percentages of (1.389%) and (1.423%) for 2008 and 2009 years, respectively. In 2008, Basrah province showed a highly blood voluntary percentage with 53563 voluntary (2.128%), while Salah-Al-Deen province had the lowest percentage with 7590 voluntary (0.655%). In 2009 Baghdad province recorded the highest blood voluntary percentage with 152477 voluntary (2.208%), while Arbeel province showed the lowest ones with 21342 voluntary (0.139%).The results of serological assays for blood voluntaries for 2008 and 2009 years showed that 6787 of them were positive for Hepatitis B with a percentage of (0.778%) from the total blood voluntaries in all Iraq provinces, while the total positive tests for Hepatitis C were 3254 with a percentage of (0.373%), with a total percentages of 68.45% and 31.55% for the two years respectively (p < 0.01).In 2008, Duhook and Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf provinces showed the highest percentages of HBV and HCV with a percentages of (3.538%) and (2.201%), respectively. Al-Dewaniah and Salah-Al-Deen provinces recorded the lowest percentages for both types of viruses with a percentages of (0.264%) and (0.025%), respectively. In 2009, Al-Anbar and Karkuk provinces showed the highest percentages of HBV and HCV with a percentages of (3.194%) and (1.765%), respectively. While Thi-Qar and Salah-Al-Deen provinces had the lowest percentages for both diseases with a percentages of (0.220%) and (0.034%), respectively.The present study may conclude that there were an acceptable percentages of blood voluntary in Iraq, and Hepatitis B was more prevalence than Hepatitis C among blood voluntaries, which indicates the importance of such serological assays for blood voluntaries on one hand and the control processes for these two dangerous diseases on the other hand.

Isolated (26) isolation out of (82) milk samples from cows in the different regions of the province of Muthanna (Rumaythah, Suer, Mahdi, vegetables, Warka) using tubes sterile ((Scrow tube and make a variety of tests and to isolate and diagnose the bacteria B. pseudomallei were planted samples the center of the Ashdown Selective Broth, which gave the highest percentage of isolation of the bacterium B.pseudomallei (61%) and then planted on the center of Ashdown Selective Agar, where the percentage of isolation (32%) was Development and activate the colonies germ isolated from circles selectivity to save the isolates through cultivation on the center of Nutrient Agar, who gave the percentage of isolation (100%) for the purpose of developing and activating the bacteria and confirm a diagnosis of MRSA was stained cells stained Methylin blue has given proportion (87.5%), where the concentrated dye on both sides of the bacterial cell (polar cell Bipolar) as well as when it was painted stained Gram given proportion (93.7%) give pink color while were biochemical diagnostic testing for all bacterial isolates were elected on the center (ASA) test, for example the production of an enzyme Alcatalase as well as the test enzyme Al-oxidase gave the proportion of isolation (100& 84.3%) respectively on the development of germ Altoaliuand the center of the selectivity, such as central Macconky Agar and Manitol Salt Agar has given the percentage of isolation (95.1 &7%), respectively, also showed the isolates ability to liquefy gelatin by (71%) and fermented for diabetes glucose and lactose by (78 & 68%) respectively and oxidizing them by (76 & 78 %), respectively. of the bacterium the ability to solve blood type (β) and by (49%), while the remainder of the isolates (42%) are cases of blood-type (α) and (9%) were the status of the blood of type (δ) and tested the ability of bacteria to move and gave (87 % ).The results showed high sensitivity of the isolates B.pseudomallei the direction of anti-microbes of a Alkolinat represented in anti the Ciprofloxacin where the percentage of sensitivity (100%) and also for anti-Chloromphenicol was (67%) As for the anti-group macrolides represented in anti Erthromycin the isolates showed resistance to as high as resistance ratio (100%), but for a group of anti-represented in anti tetracycline Tetracycline showed the isolates were sensitive (35%).

The study included assessment of radioactive contamination of the sites marshlands of southern Iraq, Hammar marsh (the gentlemen Moagd and Abu Shama) and khibt marsh (Kerma Bani Sa'id) and Abu Zirik marsh (Fuhood district). 12 samples were selected for water and 9 samples of soil and 4 samples of weeds (plants) where the measurements were made laboratory to measure the concentrations of radiation in models of soil and vegetation and water. It is hown that the results and laboratory measurements of the models has been shown to contain radioactive isotopes such natural potassium -40 for waterand soil samples within the permissible limits and concentrations of a few of the cesium -137 industrial (up to lower the limits of sensitive device, as well as bismuth (Bi-214) limits (6.3 -12.1) Bq / kg, also sensitive radium - 226 in the soil of the study, which amounted to value (08/25 to 08/13) Bq / kg is within the normal models for soil, as well as the study showed the absence samples weeds of any radioactivity. In other words, all the study sites were devoid of any contamination or radioactivity.

This study included the determination of the effect of the insecticide ‘Diazinon’on Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from the rizosphere of Viccia faba in the fields of AL-Qadisiya district at the range of 0.2 , 0.4 , 0.6 ppm concentration where the 0.6 ppm concentration represented to the initial concentration in the fieldsoil . The result showed that the numbers of P.aeruginosa reached 5.8 × 107 in Treatment control , but the number decreased to 3.3 × 107 with diazinon in 0.2 ppm and the numbers increased to 3.7 ×108 , 1.1 × 108 in 0.4 , 0.6 ppm . The results showed that P.aeruginosa are able to convert this insecticide to otherCompounds in the laboratory .

This research has got five sections .The first one contained "Introduction" and the importance of the research, the researcher dealt with the significance of tests and the measurement which is centered on the major problem which is the measurement of high arch foot and its influence on the physical traits so long as high arch foot has a major significance in a variety of sports activities. The aims of research1-identifying the influence of high arch foot on physical varieties. 2-Measuring the high medical longitudinal fissure in samples. Suppositions of the research1-There are statistical differences in proportions of high arch foot effects on physical2-Tere are meaningful differences in the medial longitudinal fissure among samples. Third section ,it included the society and research samples and the extent of samples harmony. the fourth section, the researcher dealt with presentation and discussions the outcomes of high arch foot particularly its effects on physical traits . The fifth section, it zeroed in conclusions and recommendation, the researcher concluded that the effects of high arch foot on physical traits are various , there different effects of medial Longitudinal Fissure among samples as well. Regarding the recommendations of the researcher .1- the necessity of identifying high arch foot among amateur athletes. 2- the importance of carrying out similar study among female samples. 3- Taking into consideration the process of phasing out the sizes and training sessions for athletes and to avoid conducting drills on solid grounds.
