ABSTRACT: This paper is devoted to calculate the linking number (and the fundamental group) of prime knots. The
result shows that the linking number of the knot of type ????????ℎ prime with crossing number ???? has linking number also
equal to ????. Seiferet van-Kampen theorem is implemented to calculate the linking number of some types of links.
