The Diyala Journal for Veterinary Sciences (DJVS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal free for readers, committed to publishing high-quality research in both basic and clinical veterinary sciences with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions, published quarterly, and registered under:

All articles are made freely available to the public immediately upon publication under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CCBY), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Welcome to the official copyright policy of the Diyala Journal for Veterinary Sciences (DJVS). This policy outlines the ownership, rights, and responsibilities related to articles published in DJVS, ensuring transparency for authors, readers, and third parties.

1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain full copyright of their work upon publication in DJVS. By submitting and publishing an article, the author(s) grant DJVS a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the work in print and electronic formats.

2. Author Rights

Authors are entitled to:

  • Retain the copyright of their published articles.

  • Share the published version for personal, academic, and non-commercial purposes.

3. Journal Rights

Upon acceptance, DJVS obtains the right to:

DJVS maintains strict anti-plagiarism standards. All submitted manuscripts are screened for originality using plagiarism detection software before peer review.

  • Manuscripts with plagiarism or excessive similarity (over 20%) will be rejected.

  • Confirmed cases of plagiarism or copyright infringement after publication may lead to article retraction and formal notification of the author’s institution.

6. Use of Published Material

Readers and third parties may:

  • Use DJVS articles for educational, scholarly, and non-commercial purposes.
