This research was conducted in a private orchard Located at AL-Kassim regien /Babylon province during the growing seasons of 2006 and 2007 to study the effect of NPK fertilizer levels (0, 500, and 1000 g / tree) and foliar spray of iron as (FeSO4.7H2O) at concentration of (0, 50, 100 and 150 mg / L) on leaf area and quantitative and qualitative properties of yield of local orange using RCBD design with three replicates. Results showed that the addition of NPK and foliar application of iron and thier interaction showed a significant increases in leaf are and improved the quantitative and qualitative properties of yield .Best results were obtained at the interaction of 1000g NPK / tree X 100mg Fe / litre which gave the highest averages of fruit number, fruit weight, yield by 92 fruit , 172.8g and 15.912 kg / tree respectively while were 66.67 fruit , 130.05g and 9.702 kg / tree respectively in control treatment in the second season . Also there was an increase in the TSS of fruit juice with slight reduction in total acidity which improved fruits quality.

This experiment was conducted on a private fruit nursery at Babylon Governorate the period from the first of September 2006 until September 2007 to study effect of spraying with M-Complete fertilizer with two concentrations (250, 500 mg/liter) and GA3 with (250 mg/liter) as well as study the interaction between them for improve some vegetative growth characters in olive seedlings (Olea europaea L.) cv. Sorani .
The rooting cuttings of cv Sorani were imported from Syria , the seedlings planted in plastic bags , the size were 2 kg full its with the media ( sand soil + peat moos) , ( 2:1 ) percentage by planted one seedling to each bag , the experiments included about 6 treatments , every one had three replicated..
Results showed that seedlings treated with GA3 + M-Complete fertilizer or with out its produced a significant increase on the most of study characters , the treatment ( GA3 (250 mg/L) + M-Complete fertilizer (500 mg/L) ) gave the higher means in the ( plant height & diameter ) , (length of new branches) and ( number of leaves ) but with out a significant differences with treatments (GA3 250 mg/L) and ( GA3 (250 mg/L) + M-Complete fertilizer (250 mg/L) ).

This study was conducted in private nursery in Hillia town on 15- Feb-2008., for study the cuttings position and IBA treatment under the plastic tunnels conditions the study designed as a factorial experiment with two factors , the first factor is cuttings position with three type of it ( terminal , intermediate and Base cuttings ) the second factor is the IBA treatments with four concentrations ( 0 ,1000, 2000, 3000 mg/l) each treatment replicated with three replicate.
The results shows that the Base cuttings gave the best data with significant differences compare with other cuttings type, and the IBA treatment realized the highest results compare with cuttings untreated with IBA, the 3000 mg /L gave the best results compare with others concentrations and the interactions between the cuttings position and IBA treatments was significant at the all of study parameters

This study was conducted to increase the efficiency of solarization against Pythium aphanidermatum and Rhizoctonia solani through integration of polyethylene multching and chemical soil amendments (Sulfur , Urea ,Borax) .
Result showed reduction in infection percentage of cucumber and cress seedling integration of polyethylene multching and chemicals addition compared with multching treatment without addition to about 18.52 % , 26.98 % with Borax treatment.Following by Sulfur treatment 23.15 , 30.16% on cucumber and cress respectively.
Borax , Sulfur and Urea treatments had significant effect on traps seedling through the time , Sulfur treatment was the best after one month from the experiment in the beginning compare with the other addition treatment in reduction the infection percentage to 27.78 , 34.92% on Cucumber and cress on respectively . After 45 days Borax treatment was the best 18.52 , 26.98% on respectively.
The integration effect polyethylene multching and chemicals was appear in reduction of damping-off percentage on Cucumber plants which plant after multching removal ( 45 days covering ) was 16.66 , 20.83 % in Borax and Sulfur treatments on respectively comparing with 39.58% Solarization treatment without addition .

Tow field experiments were carried out in 2006 and 2007 on tomato (Lycopersion Esculentum Mill) at vegetable field, Horticulture Department,Agriculture College,University of Baghdad. The seeds planted in 2006 for the production three way hybrid seeds to study some genetics parameters using (Linextester)used to produce three way hybrids. The field performance of 55 tomato hybrids produced according to line x tester genetic design evaluated together with their parents in a randomized block design with three replicates at the same field in 2007 . The objective was to evaluate hybrids vigour , gene action and combining ability of different traits . The resuts showed that the best heterosis as combared with best parents in TSS (29.87%),Total acidity (26.27%)and vit c (25%). The results were showed the broad scene heritability for three traits was very highly . Narrow scene heritability for all traits was very low. The average degree of
dominance was higher than one for vit C and total acidity indicating that the non additive gene action plays a greater role in the inheritance of their traits

The heterosis for fruit wight was 36.76% for hybred(H5x V5).

This experiment was conducted on private orchard at Al-Abbasyia Najaf for season 2007 on local variety of sour orange at six month old. The seedling were spraying with GA3 , NAA , Fe and Zn at conc.( 150 , 1000 , 300 and 300 ) mg\ L respectively at 1\ 4 and 1\ 9 \2007. In 15\ 11\2007 the result indicated that spraying of seedling sour orange with treatment singular and together caused a significant increasing in the rate of length , diameter , leaf area , total carbohydrate percent in branch and content of leaves form Fe , Zn , and chlorophyll.
The treatment of (GA3 + NAA + Fe + Zn) have the highest rate of those characteristics it was( 95.84 cm , 1.53 cm , 2477.51 cm2 , 18.67% , 72.91mg\kg , 60.37mg\kg and 283.95mg\100g ) respectively.
There was not significant in the number of branches and leaves of the plants.

This study was conducted at the field of almussiab technical institute during spring season 2006/2007 on tomato(Var. Special Pack ) plant to study the effect of foliar spray ( 3 times through plant growth ) of ( Zn and Fe ) on plant growth , the results show :
Significant different between Zn levels on plant growth characteristics,40 mg zn/L increase plant hiegh , No. of flower , flower area , No. of fruits , weight of fruits per plant , earlier and total yield , while Fe level ( 50 and 100 mg Fe/l ) does not show any difference on plant growth characteristics .

This study was carried out in a private fields at AL-Musaib/ Babylon, during season 2005 /2006 to study the effects of three levels of Poultry residue 0, 5 and 10 T./Ha. And four levels of Calcium Super Phosphate 46% P2o5 (0, 60, 120 and 180) Kg/Ha. On the growth and Potato yield.
Results showed that the highest values of growth properties ( plant height , dry weight per plant and number of tuber per plant) and highest yield due to the interaction between 10 T./Ha. of Poultry residue and 120 Kg P2o5 /Ha. is merit on anther fertilization treatment, and gives a ( 76.18 cm , 79.77 gm and 14.34 tubers per plant ) and 23.46 Kg/Ha.

This work included to study uterine horns (right and left) for (130) non-pregnant females of Camelus dromedarius in the age of three years old. These samples obtained in early morning from AL-Najaf Slaughter house for one year (12 months). The study involved: measurement of uterine horns dimensions (length and diameter) and depth of endometrium cells and distribution of Uterine glands for each horn. The results divided into four determined seasons and (12) months.
The morphological and histological study for the uterine horns showed increase left uterine horn dimensions (length and diameter) than the right horn and increase of endometrium cells depth in the seasons: winter, spring and autumn,also in the months of these seasons by the monthly changes and also showed distribution large number of uterine gland in left horn in compare with the right horn in autumn & winter and decreasing of epithelial cells growing in right horn through spring & summer.

Blood samples were collected from 15 cows and follicular fluid from ovaries to same cows after removed. Using commercial measure (clinical, photometric and chemistry)to measure out the ions ( sodium, calcium, potassium and chlorid ), ( glucose, cholesterol, and protein) also hormones were measured such as insulin. Results demonstrated that concentration of protein, cholesterol, potassium and calcium in follicular fluid is higher than the in blood concentration while decrease of sodium, chloride, insulin and glucose in follicular fluid from level in blood significant (P< 0.01). These results suggest that the oocyte and granulosa cells of cows grow and mature in biochemical environment and significant correlation between the composition of follicular fluid and serum to indicate that metabolic changes in serum will be reflecting on the follicular fluid and therefore, may affect on the quality of oocyte and the granulosa cells.
