The Euphrates Journal of Agricultural Science (EJAS) is a scientific journal published by the College of Agriculture, Al-Qasim Green University, Iraq. The journal accepts and disseminates authentic scientific research with outstanding levels of agricultural sciences and other sciences associated with them. The journal publishes research in English, with Abstracts. Date of the first issuance of 2009 Publications in the year 4 issues annually in March, June, September, and December. Journal Scope

Euphrates Journal for Agricultural Science is a peer-review journal devoted to publish original research articles in all fields of Agricultural sciences and veterinary sciences. Scope of the journal includes, Agricultural Engineering, Horticultural sciences, Plant protection, Animal science, Agricultural economics, Food science and technology, Soil and water sciences, Irrigation science and technology and environmental science.
Euphrates Journal for Agricultural Science publishes 4 issues in English per year and it is the official publication of Al-Qasim Green University- Faculty of Agriculture. The aim of the journal is to promote research and development in multidiscipline areas of applied agriculture sciences and other allied fields.

Open Access Policy

EJAS journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Authors retain copyright in their article and have a choice of Creative Commons licenses

Copyright Notice

All manuscripts under review or published with EJAS are subject to screening using Plagiarism Prevention Software called Turnitin. Plagiarism is a serious violation of publication ethics. Other violations include duplicate publication, data fabrication and falsification, and improper credit of author contribution. Thus, Plagiarism or Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behaviour are unacceptable and submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable. It is necessary to mention that EJAS Journal may ignore a duplicated manuscript of up to 20%. The development of CrossCheck is a service that helps editors to verify the originality of papers using software called Turnitin.

All new submissions to many EJAS are automatically screened using CrossCheck. Editorial Board Member may also choose to run a similarity report at any other point during the review process or post-publication. The default similarity report view gives the percentage of the text of the manuscript which has overlap with one or more published articles.
