Abstract

The study showed that the effect of experimental Trichomonasis caused histological change to some of organs under investigation (prostate and testes and penis) in albino rats.In our study, albino rats were divided into three groups [Group I (Single infected within Albritton –Intrapereationial by use the concentration 106), group II (Single infected under the skin – Subcutaneous by use 106 as concentration for the infected solution ),and group III (double infected for Intrapereationial and Subcutaneous by use 106 as concentration for the infected solution)].The result showed that the prostate and penis more effect by the infection than testes، In which the histological changes were appears as congestion، necrosis، vaculation، infiltration of inflammatory cells and deposition of fibrin in some locations in addition to an increase in these changes bleeding with tearing of the tissue of a member of the penis while shown testes less impact of these changes was to happen necrosis with vaculation and fibrin deposition in some locations tissue.

تم اجراء دراسة تجريبية لتاثير الاصابة بداء المشعرات المهبلية على احداث تغيرات نسيجية لبعض اعضاء الفأر الابيض السويسري المنتخبة (البروستات والخصى والقضيب)، حيث قسمت الفئران بواقع ثلاث مجاميع [المجموعة الأولى (إصابة مفردة داخل البريتون (Intrapereationial) بتركيز106), المجموعة الثانية (اصابة مفردة تحت الجلد (Subcutaneous) بتركيز106), المجموعة الثالثة (أحدثت إصابة مزدوجة 106 داخل البريتون و106 تحت الجلد), أبدت أعضاء البروستات والقضيب تأثرا كبيرا تمثل بتغيرات نسيجية بشكل أحتقان وتنخر وتفجي وارتشاح الخلايا الالتهابية مع ترسب الليفين في بعض المواقع أضافة لزيادة في هذه التغيرات بنزف مع تمزق لنسيج عضو القضيب، في حين ابدت الخصى تأثيرا أقل من هذه التغيرات تمثلت بحدوث تنخر مع تفجي وحدوث ترسب الليفين في بعض المواقع النسجية.

Abstract

This research aimed to study the effect of the methanolic , water & oil extracts of sage (Salvia officinalis) examined against species of pathogenic bacteria isolated from mouth( Streptococcus mutans ,Strep. gas, Strep. feacalis,Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli , Klebsiella sp. & Pseudomonas sp.) using agar –well diffusion method and compared the results of herbal extracts with the chemical mouth washer Chlorhexidine .the results showed that the gram positive bacteria was more sensitive than gram negative bacteria and the pure oil of sage had the the high inhibitory effect on bacteria more than inhibitory effectiveness of mouth washer and methanolic extracts , while the water sage extracts did not effective against any species of bacteria.

هدف البحث دراسة تأثير المستخلصات الكحولية والمائية والزيتية للميرمية sage في نمو بعض الأنواع البكتيرية المرضية المعزولة من الفم منها موجبة لصبغة كرام وهي: Streptococcus mutans Staphylococcus aureus &Strep. feacalis , Strep. gas وأخرى سالبة لصبغة كرام وهي Escherichia Klebsiella sp. & Pseudomonas sp., coli باستخدام طريقة الانتشار بالحفر, وتم مقارنة نتائج تثبيط فعالية المستخلصات النباتية مع احد الغسولات الفموية الكيمياوية . وأظهرت النتائج أن البكتريا الموجبة لصبغة كرام أكثر تحسسا للمستخلصات من البكتريا السالبة الصبغة وكان المستخلص الزيتي النقي للميرمية ذات فعالية تثبيطية أعلى من فعالية تثبيط الغسول الفموي Chlorhexidine والمستخلص الكحولي , في حين لم تظهر أنواع البكتريا المدروسة أي تحسسا للمستخلص الم.

Abstract

The research carried out as a laboratory experiment in the laboratories of Biology Department / College of Science / University of Anbar during the winter season 2010 – 2011 by using pots contained 9Kg of sand washed with distilled water for several times to ensure it is free of all nutrient elements and the heavy metal. The aim of this experiment is to study the impact of environmental pollution by two elements (cadmium، lead) and it's interaction with four sources of nitrogen nutrients on some morphological and productivity features of wheat ( Triticum aestivum Var. Ipa 99) and to study the impact of these nitrogenous sources on accumulation of those heavy metals in different plant parts (Roots، Shoots، Grains) The experiment was designed as Completely Randomized Block Design، factorial experiment with three replications، included a study of three factors :The first factor, Type of the heavy metal (cadmium، lead) The second factor, Concentration of heavy metals, The third factor، Type of the nitrogenous source [ Nitrate Ca(NO3)2، Ammonium (NH4)2SO4، Ammonium nitrate NH4NO3، Urea CO(NH2)2]. The plants The plants had been irrigated with Hougland complete nutrient solution for the four nitrogenous sources without adding the heavy metals and 14 days later different concentration of cadmium and lead were added to the nutrient solutions above. During plant growth were calculated leaf area، before the harvest، plant height measures had been taken، after harvest calculated the dry weight for the roots and weight of 100 grain of plant yield. Statically analysis was performed to find out the differences at probability level( P≤ 0.05) between the different nitrogenous sources and type، concentration of the heavy metals. The result showed : ammonium source have the higher value of leaf area، plant height، nitrate source have the higher value of dry weight of 100 grain، ammonium nitrate source have the higher value of dry weight of root. the heavy metals negatively effected on all studied features، cadmium more effected on plant height، root dry weight، 100 grain weight، while lead more effected on leaf area

نفذ البحث في مختبرات قسم علوم الحياة / كلية العلوم / جامعة الأنبار خلال الموسم الشتوي2011– 2010 بإستخدام أصص إحتوت على 9 كغم رمل مغسول بالماء المقطر عدة مرات لضمان خلوه من جميع العناصر المغذية والثقيلة, حيث كان الهدف هو دراسة تأثير التلوث البيئي بعنصري الكادميوم والرصاص على بعض الصفات المظهرية والإنتاجية لنبات القمح Triticum aestivum Var. Ipa 99 من خلال أربعة مصادر نيتروجينية مغذية, صممت التجربة وفق تصميم القطاعات الكاملة المعشاة وبثلاثة مكررات كتجربة عاملية تضمنت دراسة ثلاثة عوامل : العامل الأول : نوع العنصر الثقيل (كادميوم, رصاص) العامل الثاني : تركيز العنصر الثقيل (100، 50، 0)ملغم. لتر1- العامل الثالث : نوع المصدر النيتروجيني المستخدم في المحلول المغذي النترات Ca(NO3)2, الأمونيوم (NH4)2SO4، نترات الأمونيوم NH4NO3، اليوريا CO(NH2)2. رويت النباتات بمحاليل مغذية كاملة للمصادر النيتروجينية الأربعة وبدون إضافة العناصر الثقيلة لمدة 14 يوم بعدها عوملت النباتات بالعناصر الثقيلة بالتراكيز المذكورة اعلاه. أثناء نمو النبات تم حساب المساحة الورقية, قبل الحصاد أخذ قياس ارتفاع النبات وبعد حصاد النبات تم حساب الأوزان الجافة للمجاميع الجذرية الجافة وتم حساب وزن 100 حبة لحاصل المعاملات, اجري التحليل الإحصائي لإيجاد الفروق المعنوية عند مستوى احتماليةP≤ 0.05) ) بين مصادر النيتروجين المختلفة ونوع وتركيز العنصر الثقيل، حيث أظهرت نتائج البحث تفوق مصدر كبريتات الأمونيوم معنويا بالمساحة الورقية و إرتفاع النبات، في حين تفوق مصدر نترات الكالسيوم معنويا عن باقي المصادر النيتروجينية بوزن 100 حبة من حاصل المعاملات، كما كان لمصدر نترات الأمونيوم القيمة العليا وبفروق معنوية عن المصادر النيتروجينية الأُخرى بالأوزان الجافة للمجاميع الجذرية. كما بينت النتائج أن للعناصر الثقيلة المضافة تأثير سلبي واضح على جميع الصفات المدروسة حيث كان للكادميوم التأثير السلبي الأكبر على صفات إرتفاع النبات, الأوزان الجافة للمجاميع الجذرية و وزن 100 حبة لحاصل المعاملات، بالمقابل كان للرصاص التأثير السلبي الأكبر من الكادميوم في المساحة الورقية. أظهرت نتائج التداخل الثلاثي بأن معاملتي نترات الأمونيوم واليوريا قد قللت من التأثير الضار للعناصر الثقيلة على الصفات المدروسة.

Abstract

The present study was preformed in period between October 2011 to July 2012, isolated were isolated from Euphrates river in Ramadi city. samples were cultured on several culture media microscopical, cultural, biochemical,serotypical (by use of serotype Diagnosis kit of bacteria) and genotypical (eae , stx , bfp) diagnosis of bacteria were done. The results showed that 278 from Euphrates samples were E.Coli (68.137 %) also the results indicated that (28) isolates belong to EPEC and the dominant serotype were type1 multisampling equivalent. with ratio of (39.28%) followed by the multi-samples equivalent type4 (25%) and the multisampling equivalent type2 and type2 with a ratio of (17.85%) for each one.In addition the mono sample equivalent serotype ratio was O55 (21.42%) followed by 0142 with a ratio of (14.28%). Then , the sample typing 088 and 0126 come with a ratio of (10.7 %). All serotype patterns were tested to check the content of virulence determinant and the results showed that 19 isolates contained the gene eae ratio(67.85%) ,when as there is no any isolates contained bfp , stx genes EPEC bacteria also disinfected to typical EPEC and Atypical EPEC , where the typical EPEC were found in 28 isolates and Atypical EPEC identified in 19 isolates with the ratio (67.85%).

أجريت هذه الدراسة للمدة الممتدة من أوائل شهر تشرين الأول 2011 ولغاية تموز 2012 إذ تم جمع (408) عينة من مياه نهر الفرات في مدينة الرمادي. زرعت العينات مباشرة على الأوساط الزرعية وتم تشخيص هذه البكتريا مجهريا ومزرعيا وكيموحيويا إضافة إلى تعين النمط المصلي باستخدام عدة التشخيص المصلية، فضلا عن الكشف عن بعض جيناتها مثل eae, stx, bfp المسؤولة عن خواصها الامراضية في جميع الأنماط المصلية. وقد أمكن الكشف عن وجود Escherichia coli في (278) عينة من مياه نهر الفرات المدروسة أي بنسبة (68.137 %) واثبت نتائج التشخيص ان (28) عزلة عائدة إلى بكتريا EPEC وتبين ان النمط المصلي السائد باستعمال الأمصال متعددة التكافؤ هو Type 1 وبنسبة (39.28%) يتبعه الأمصال المتعددة التكافؤ Type4 بنسبة (25%) ثم الأمصال المتعددة التكافؤ Type2 ,Type3 بنسبة (17.85%) لكليهما. بينما وجد ان الأمصال الأحادية التكافؤ السائدة هي O55 بنسبة (21.42%) يتبعه O142 بنسبة (14.28%) ثم يليهما النمطان المصليان O126, O86 بنسبة (10.71%). اختبرت جميع الأنماط المصلية (28) للتأكد من احتوائها على الجينات المسؤولة عن الامراضية إذ وجد ان (19) عزلة تحتوي جين (eae) بنسبة (67.85%) بينما لم يتم الحصول على أي عزلة تحمل الجين (bfp, stx). كذلك صنفت بكتريا EPEC إلى نموذجية Typical EPEC وغير نموذجية Atypical EPEC إذ ان بكتريا E.coli النموذجية لم يتم تشخيصها في أي من العزلات (28) التي تم الحصول عليها في حين بكتريا E.coli غير النموذجية فقد شخصت في (19) عزلة أي بنسبة (67.85%).

Abstract

Fish Cyprinus carpio were exposed to magnetized water for 8 days. Magnetic intensities of 750,1500 and 3000 gauss were used to magnetize water. The activities of enzymes alkaline phosphatase , acid phosphatase, ALT and AST were estimated in the liver of fish . Activities of all enzymes increased in the liver of exposed animals to magnetized water .

تم تعريض اسماك Cyprinus carpio إلى ماء معالج مغناطيسيا" بشدد مغناطيسية مختلفة 750 و 1500 و 3000 كاوس لفترة 8 أيام . استخدمت الكبد لمتابعة التغيرات التي تطرأ على كمية البروتينات الكلية وفعالية كل من اﻹنزيمات Alkaline phosphatase و Acid phosphatase و Alanine Transaminaseو Aspartate transaminase بأستخدام الطريقة الطيفية، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أرتفاع كمية البروتين الكلية وفعالية الانزيمات في الكبد عند تعريض الاسماك الى الماء الممغنط.

STUDIES THE EFFECT OF ROOT EXUDATES OF SESAME، MAIZE AND ROOT DEBRIS ON THE GROWTH OF Pythium spp.

Abstract

The pathogenicity of three isolates of the genus Pythium that isolated from infected Okra (P.afertile)،hay and cress plants for many economical plants such as maize، sesame، cucumber and tomato were studied in artificially infested soils. The pathogenicity was determined according to it's ability to cause pre – and post emergence damping – off of seedlings. The pathogenicity tests showed that the P. afertile isolate recorded the maximum reduction in percentage of pre – emergence damping – off، where it's percent was 39.99%، followed by cress isolate as 32.08 % and hay isolate as 27.08%، whereas the cress isolate gave a significant reduction in percentage of post – emergence damping – off which was 27.35 %، followed by P. afertile and hay isolates which were 21.44 % and 16.35 % respectively.Results indicated that the maize root exudates had more inhibition activity against both Pythium isolates ( P. afertile and cress isolates ) in comparison with sesame root exudates، which project the growth rate about 56.915 millimeters and 60.025 % millimeters for both treatments of maize and sesame root exudates respectively. The maximal inhibitory effect of root exudates was against the P. afertile isolate in comparison to the cress isolate، where the size of the fungal colonies were 35.116 millimeters and 83.7 millimeters for the P. afertile and cress isolates respectively. The study showed that maize root powder extract had positive effect against the growth of the P. afertile isolate، Where the size of the fungal colony reached to 51.75 millimeter in comparison to the control which was 42.58 millimeters. This positive effect was missing against cress isolate، furthermore the prepared medium from the mixing of Root Maize Extract Agar ( R.M.E.A. ) and Potato Sucrose Agar (P.S.A.) media did remarkable support for the growth of the P. afertile isolate، which was 58.0 millimeters colony diameter in comparison to R.M.E.A and P.S.A. which were 41.0 millimeters and 40.0 millimeters respectively، whereas such differences disappeared to the cress isolate. The study showed the high efficacy of coating sesame seeds with the powders of root maize in reducing infection rates with pre – and post emergence damping – off caused by Pythium sp. in comparison with the effect of the fungicide Beltanol، as 15.18 % and 22.4 % for the treatments of coating sesame seeds with the powders of root maize or the fungicide respectively، which planted in the soils that infested with the P. afertile isolate، and 31.10 % and 23.04% for the same treatments but planted in the soils that infested with cress isolate.

درست قابلية ثلاث عزلات لفطر Pythium spp. عزلت من نباتات باميا مصابة والتي شخصت حسب المراجع التصنيفية بأنها P. afertile ومن التبن(Pythium 1) ومن نبات الرشاد المصاب (Pythium2) على إحداث الأصابة بمرض تسقيط البادرات قبل البزوغ وبعده (Pre – and post emergence seedlings damping off) لعدد من النباتات الاقتصادية كالذرة والسمسم وخيار القثة والطماطة. أظهرت عزلات الفطر Pythium spp. تبايناً واضحاً في قدرتها على إحداث الإصابة بتسقيط البادرات إذ كانت عزلة P. afertile أشدها قدرة على إحداث الإصابة بالتسقيط قبل البزوغ بمعدل عام بلغ 39.99 % تليها عزلة Pythium2 بمعدل عام بلغ 32.08% وقد جاءت عزلة Pythium1 آخراً بمعدل إصابة بلغ 27.08%. في حين تفوقت عزلة Pythium2 على باقي العزلات في إحداث الإصابة بالتسقيط بعد البزوغ بمعدل عام بلغ 27.35% تلتها عزلة P.afertile ثم عزلة Pythium1 بمعدلات إصابة بلغت 21.44% و16.35% على الترتيب.أظهرت الدراسة التأثير التثبيطي الكبير الذي حققته معاملة عزلتي الفطر Pythium بالرواشح الجذرية لنبات الذرة وبمراحل نموه المختلفة مقارنة بالسيطرة بمعدل نمو بلغ 56.915 مليمتر، في حين اختفى التأثير التثبيطي عند المعاملة برواشح جذور نبات السمسم وبالمقارنة مع معاملة السيطرة إذ بلغ معدل النمو 60.025 مليمتر، وبلغ التأثير التثبيطي لتلك الرواشح أقصى معدلاته ضد عزلة الفطر P.afertile مقارنةً بعزلة Pythium2 وبمعدلي نمو بلغا 35.11 مليمتر و83.70 مليمتر على الترتيب. وعلى خلاف ذلك فقد أظهرت الدراسة التأثير الإيجابي لمعاملة عزلة P.afertile بمستخلص مسحوق جذور نبات الذرة بالمقارنة بمعاملة السيطرة بمعدل نمو بلغ 51.75 مليمتر و42.58 مليمتر لكل من معاملتي مستخلص مسحوق الجذور والسيطرة على الترتيب، في حين اختفى التأثير الإيجابي مع عزلة Pythium2، وكذا الحال مع الوسط المحضر من خلط وسطي Root Maize Extract Agar (R.M.E.A) وPotao Sucrose Agar P.S.A.)) فقد حقق دعماً لنمو عزلة P.afertile بقطر نمو 58.0 مليمتر مقارنةً بوسطيR.M.E.A. وP.S.A. إذ بلغت أقطار النمو41.0 مليمتر و40.0مليمتر على الترتيب، في حين اختفت مثل هذه الفروق لعزلة Pythium2 وللمعاملات كافة. وأوضحت الدراسة مدى الكفاءة العالية لمعاملة تعفير بذور نبات السمسم بمسحوق جذور نبات الذرة مقارنة بتأثير المبيد الفطري Beltanol في خفض معدلات نسب الإصابة بالتسقيط البيثيومي قبل البزوغ وبعده و البالغة 15.18% و22.40% لكل من معاملتي تغليف بذور نبات السمسم بمسحوق جذور نبات الذرة أو المبيد الفطري وزراعتهما في تربة ملوثة بعزلة الفطر P. afertileعلى الترتيب و31.10% و23.04% للمعاملتين ذاتهما عند زراعتهما في تربة ملوثة بعزلة Pythium2.

STUDY OF INTESTINAL PARASITES AND ITS EFFECTS ON SOME BLOOD COMPONENTS LEVELS IN RAMADI CITY

Abstract

This study was conducted concerning the intestinal protozoa and their effect on the peripheral blood content in ( 194) stool and blood sample ( 113) sample from persons infected with intestinal parasites and ( 81) sample from non infected persons Routine microscopic examination for stool samples was done using normal saline to detect the range of distribution of intestinal protozoan s and the relation of the infection with patients age and sex.The results of the present investigation revealed the occurrence of four intestinal protozoan's in the following percentage of incidence for patients Entamoeba histolytica (51.3 % ). Giardia lambelia ( 29,2%). Enterobius vermiclaris ( 11.9%) and Hymenolepis nana (7.96%) and all the infections were single the percentage of males infection was higher than that of females infection (58.62%) , 55.5%) with Entamoeba histolytica. Hymenolepis nana respectively. while the percentage of female infection was higher than that of male ( 61.53%, 51.5% ) with Enterobius vermicularis. Giardia lambelia respectively.The prevalence rate of infection among the first 10 years age was higher than other groups of age. The percentage of infection (51.72%) ,(80.55), (69.25%) and (77.77%) for the parasites Entamoeba histolytica giardia lambelia Enterobius vermicularis and Hymenolepis nana respectively Statistical analysis by F test and LSD for blood testing ( Hb , RBC count WBC count and total count esmophiles the result appear decrease in the percentage of HB and WBC in the infected groups and significant effect of sex on the rate of HB in infected groups with Entamoeba histolytica and Hymenolepis nana ( P<0.05)The result appear decrease in the rates of RBC count and significant effects were noted in the rate of Esinophiles count in infected groups with Hymenolepis nana and Enterobius vermicularis.

تناولت هذه الدراسة الاصابة بالطفيليات المعوية وتأثيرها على مكونات الدم المحيطي في الانسان جمعت (194) عينة براز ودم منها (113) عينة من اشخاص مصابين بالطفيليات المعوية و(81) عينة من اشخاص غير مصابين (اصحاء). فحصت عينة البراز بالفحص المجهري الروتيني باستخدام محلول الملح الصناعي لتحديد مدى انتشار الطفيليات المعوية وعلاقة الاصابة بالعمر والجنس. اظهرت النتائج وجود اربعة طفيليات معوية وبالنسب المئوية المؤشرة وهي اميبا الزحار (51,3) Entamoeba histolytica، الجيارديا لامبليا (29,2%) Giardia lambelia، الدودة الدبوسية (11,9%) Enterobius vermicularis والدودة الشريطية القزمية (7,96%) Hymenolepis nana وان جميع هذه الاصابات كانت مفردة، كانت نسبة اصابة الذكور اعلى من نسبة اصابة الاناث (8,62%، 55,5%) باميبا الزحار والدودة الشريطية القزمية على التوالي، بينما نسبة اصابة الاناث كانت اعلى من نسبة اصابة الذكور (61,53%، 51,5%) بالدودة الدبوسية والجيارديا لامبليا على التوالي، كانت اعلى نسبة للاصابة في السنوات العشرة الاولى من العمر مقارنة بالفئات العمرية الاخرى. النسب المئوية للاصابة (51,72%)، (80,56%)، (69,25%) و(77,77) للطفيليات اميبا الزحار، الجيارديا لامبليا، الدودة الدبوسية والدودة الشريطية القزمة على التوالي. حللت النتائج احصائيا ً باستخدام اختباري F واقل فرق معنوي (LSD) لاختبارات الدم (نسبة الهيموغلوبين، اعداد كريات الدم الحمراء، اعداد كريات الدم البيضاء والعدد الكلي للخلايا الحمضية). اظهرت النتائج انخفاض في النسبة المئوية للهميوغلوبين واعداد كريات الدم البيضاء في المجاميع المصابة ولوحظ وجود تأثير معنوي للجنسين على معدل نسبة الهيموغلوبين في مجاميع الاصابة باميبا الزحار والدودة الشريطية القزمة (P<0,05 ( كذلك فقد اظهرت النتائج انخفاض في معدلات اعداد كريات الدم الحمر ولوحظ وجود فرق معنوي في معدل اعداد الخلايا الحمضة في مجاميع الاصابة بالدودة الشريطية القزمة والدودة الدبوسية.

Abstract

The study included 300 blood samples collected during the period between Jan.، 2007 to May 15، \ 2008 in order to study blood anemia resulted from certain factors in Heet، Ramadi and Fuloja. Hb measure is used to indicate anemia .Results indicated significant difference in having anemia especially in men in various ages. High anemia was observed ages between 20 and 30 years. As compared to the lower ages less than 20 and above than 30. For women، the highest anemia was recorded at ages 18 up to 40 years as compared to young old ages. High percentage of anemia was recorded in women rather than men and had increased in pregnant women than non-pregnant and in married than in single women. High anemia was found for blood type O as compared to other, and significant differences as compared to AB، A and B whereas no significant differences between A and B and still less in AB.

لقد تضمنت الدراسة ( 300 ) ثلثمئة عينة دم جمعت خلال فترة من 1/1/ 2007 و لغاية 15/5/2008 لغرض دراسة فقر الدم وتأثير بعض العوامل فيه في مدينة هيت والرمادي و الفلوجة وقد اعتمد قياس تركيز Hb كمؤشر لحالة فقر الدم. وقد أظهرت النتائج هناك فروقاً معنوية في الإصابة بفقر الدم لدى جنس الرجال وفي مختلف الأعمار إذ ازدادت النسبة في الفئة العمرية ما بين 20-30 سنة مقارنة بالأعمار الأقل من 20 والأكثر من 30، وقد بين توزيع التكرارات للمصابين بفقر الدم لدى جنس الإناث أعلى مستواه في الفئات العمرية ما بين 18-40 مقارنة بالأعمار الصغيرة والكبيرة. كما أوضحت الدراسة ازدياد نسبة فقر الدم في النساء مقارنة بالرجال وأظهرت كذلك ازدياد النسبة في النساء الحبالى بالمقارنة بالنساء غير الحبالى وازديادها في المتزوجات مقارنة بغير المتزوجات. كما وجد أعلى نسبة إصابة بفقر الدم في فصيلة الدم (O) مقارنة بالفصائل الأخرى كما وجد هناك فروق معنوية مقارنة بالفصيلة AB وA وB وعدم وجود فروق معنوية بين, B, A وقلة الإصابة بفقر الدم في فصيلة AB.

Abstract

The study included the neutralization of bacterial plasmids E.coli and the role plasmids bacteria in response to some antibiotics. Growth of bacteria was carried out in different temperatures (40-60)0c and for different time periods (5-30) minutes to reach the 93% rate of killing and deportation in Agaros Gel Electrophoresis was detected over the losses of bacteria E.coli for plasmids compard with the original isolation.Tthe sensitivity of the bacteria was tested by discks method to antibiotics for the isolates curing compard with the original isolation. the rasults showed variation in the response of isolates to antibiotics curring comparde with the original isolates as an antibiotic Erythromycin which become sensitive isolates by the largest rate of 31.00 mm of isolation 65 the curring while 0.00 mm for original isolate, and these curring isolates have retained their resistance to sodium chloride NaCl.

تضمنت الدراسة تحييد بلازميدات بكتريا E.coli ودور البلازميدات في استجابة البكتريا لبعض المضادات الحيوية. نميت بدرجات حرارية مختلفة (60-40) م0 ولمدد زمنية مختلفة (30-25-20-15-10-5) دقيقة للوصول الى نسبة قتل %93 بطريقة الترحيل الكهربائي الافقي Agaros Gel electrophoresis تم الكشف عن فقدان بكتريا E.coli لبلازميداتها بالمقارنة مع العزلة الاصلية. اختبرت حساسية البكتريا وبطريقة الاقراص للمضادات الحيوية للعزلات المحيدة بالمقارنة مع العزلة الاصلية. اظهرت النتائج تباين في استجابة العزلات المحيدة للمضادات الحيوية بالمقارنة بالعزلة الاصلية كمضاد Erythromycin أذ اصبحت العزلات حساسة وبمعدل 31.00 ملم للعزلة 65 المحيدة بينما بلغ 0.00 ملم للعزلة الاصلية. كما اظهرت النتائج ليس للبلازميدات دور في مقاومة بكتريا E.coli لملح كلوريد الصوديوم NaCl.

Abstract

A Factorial experiment has been carried out in the Random Complete Branch Design (RCBD) with three replication. Plasticpots with a capacity of (8 kg ) of soil have been prepared and filled with dry soil that was sifted using 2 mm sifter. Fertilizers have been added to Corn (Zea mays L.) according to recommendation. Corn seed was sowing on the 15th jolly 2011. Irrigation processes were done depending on gravimetric method to maintain soil moisture with the limits of moisture tension extent that represent depletion rates of water ; 25%, 50% and 75% until 15\10\2011. Some physiological characters (chlorophyll content a, chlorophyll content b, total chlorophyll content, carbohydrates content, protein content and proline content) were calculated during flowering stage. Below are the most important results.The increase in moisture depletion has significantly affected most of the studied physiological characteristics. The moisture depletion of 25% got excellence over that of 50% and 75%, the values were (3.124 mg.g-1, 2.593 mg. g-1, 5.693 mg. g-1, 7.438 g.100 g-1 and 8.016 g.100 g-1)، respectively, except the prolin content whose highest value of moisture consumption was 75% reaching to 3.492µg. g-1. Also, the addition of magnesium has a significant effect; the addition of 2.25 g. Plasticpot of magnesium got excellence over (0, 0.75, 1.50) g. Plasticpot, the values were (3.59 mg.g-1، 2.85 mg.g-1, 6.36 mg.g-1, 6.7 g.100g-1, 8.21 g.100g-1), respectively, except prolin content whose highest value was when not adding magnesium 2.93 µg.g-1. Soil texture has significant effects; clay loam got excellence over the sandy loam. The values were (3.0 mg.g-1, 2.45 mg.g-1, 5.45 mg.g-1, 6.916 g.100g-1and 7.950 g.100g-1), respectively, except the prolin content whose highest value in the sandy loam was 3.185 µg.g-1.

نفذت تجربة عامليه بتصميم القطاعات العشوائية الكاملة (RCBD) بثلاث مكررات، جهزت أصص بسعة (8) كغم تربة، وعبئت بالترب التي هيئت بعد تجفيفها ونخلها بمنخل 2ملم، تم إضافة الأسمدة حسب التوصيات السمادية للذرة الصفراء, تمت زراعة بذور الذرة الصفراء في 15/ 7/2011. أجريت عمليات الري باعتماد الطريقة الوزنية للمحافظة على رطوبة التربة لحدود مديات الشـــــــــدود الرطوبية التي تمثـــــــل نسب الاستنفاد %25, 50% و75% من الماء الجاهز ولغاية15 /10/ 2011، تم قياس بعض الصفات الفسيولوجية (محتوى كلوروفيلa, محتوى كلوروفيل b, محتوى الكلوروفيل الكلي, محتوى الكاربوهيدرات, محتوى البروتين, محتوى البرولين) خلال مرحلة التزهير وكانت أهم النتائج ما يلي : أثرت زيادة نسب الاستنفاد الرطوبي معنوياً في اغلب الصفات الفسلجية المدروسة إذ تفوقت نسبة الاستنفاد الرطوبي 25% على نسبتي الاستنفاد 50% و 75% إذ بلغت ( 3.124 ملغم.غم-1وزن رطب, 2.593 ملغم. غم-1وزن رطب, 5.693 ملغم. غم-1وزن رطب, 7.438 غم.100 غم-1وزن رطب, 8.016 غم.100 غم-1وزن رطب)على التوالي, ما عدا محتوى البرولين إذ كان أعلى قيمة له عند نسبة الاستنفاد الرطوبي 75% إذ بلغت 3.492 مايكروغرام. غم-1وزن رطب. أثرت زيادة مستوى إضافة المغنيسيوم معنوياً وقد تفوق مستوى إضافة مغنيسيوم 2.25 غم.أصيص على المستويات (1.50, 0.75, 0) غم.أصيص إذ بلغت ( 3.59 ملغم.غم-1وزن رطب, 2.85 ملغم.غم-1 وزن رطب, 6.36 ملغم. غم-1وزن رطب, 6.7 غم.100 غم-1وزن رطب, 8.21 غم.100 غم-1وزن رطب)على التوالي, ما عدا محتوى البرولين إذ كان أعلى قيمة له في مستوى عدم إضافة المغنيسيوم إذ بلغت 2.93 مايكروغرام. غم-1وزن رطب. تفوقت التربة الطينية المزيجة على التربة الرملية المزيجة معنوياً في تأثيرها في الصفات المدروسة إذ أعطت ( 3.0ملغم. غم-1وزن رطب, 2.45ملغم. غم-1وزن رطب, 5.45ملغم. غم-1وزن رطب, 6.916غم.100 غم-1وزن رطب, 7.950غم.100 غم-1وزن رطب) على التوالي, ما عدا محتوى البرولين إذ كان أعلى قيمة له في التربة الرملية إذ بلغت 3.185 مايكروغرام. غم-1وزن رطب.

Abstract

An experiment was carried out in plastic pots of 4 Kg soil capacity in Al-Anbar university – College of Science – Department of Biology during Winter season of 2010 - 2011, to study the effect of different concentration of sodium chloride (0, 75, 150 )mM and zinc (0, 9, 18 ) ppm as sulfate (or chloride) on some morphological and physiological characteristic of wheat plant var Ipa 99. Factorial experiment implemented according to completely randomized Design with three replicates. The experiment results showed that the treatment of grains with different concentration of sodium chloride caused a decrease of all studied morphological characteristics (plant height, leaf area, no. of leaves/ plant, fresh and dry weight of shoot and root system of plant). The results of effect of sodium chloride on physiological characteristic showed a significant increase in carbohydrate content of the leaves with increasing of salt concentration, while the treatment of 75 mM gave non significant increase of chlorophyll content and significant decrease of chlorophyll content with 150 mM of sodium chloride compared with control. The treatment of the grains with 9 ppm of zinc caused significant increase of plant height and significant decrease with 18 ppm of zinc treatment compared with the control, also leaf area decrease significantly when zinc concentration increased, while 18 ppm gave highest average of plant leaves numbers 7.840 leaf/ plant compared with control that gave 7.587 leaf/plant. 9 ppm zinc concentration gave non significant increase of fresh and dry weight of shoot and root system with average of 9.365, 2.979, 15.77 and 2.13 gm/ plant respectively compared with control treatment. 18 ppm zinc concentration caused non significant decrease of fresh and dry weight average. 9 ppm zinc concentration gave non significant decrease of total chlorophyll content with the average of 2.499 mg/gm compared with control which gave 2.819 mg/gm, while 18 ppm caused significant increase in chlorophyll content. There is non significant decrease of carbohydrate content with increasing of zinc concentration. The effect of interference between sodium chloride and zinc showed significant increase of physiological and morphological characteristics in treatment of 75 mM NaCl and 9 ppm zinc except leaf area which decreased significantly. The conclusion of this study reveal that the soaking of wheat grains in zinc solution reduce the negative effect of sodium chloride on some morphological and physiological characteristis

اجريت تجربة في اصص سعة 4 كغم تربة في قسم علوم الحياة –كلية العلوم-جامعة الانبار خلال الموسم الزراعي 2010- 2011 لدراسة تأثير تراكيز مختلفة من ملح كلوريد الصوديوم (0 ، 75 ، 150 ) ملي مولر والزنك (0 ، 9 ، 18) جزء بالمليون في بعض الصفات المظهرية والفسيولوجية لنبات القمح صنف اباء 99. نفذت تجربة عاملية وفق التصميم العشوائي الكامل(C.R.D )وبثلاثة مكررات. اظهرت نتائج التجربة بأن معاملة الحبوب بملح كلوريد الصوديوم وبتراكيز مختلفة ادى الى انخفاض جميع الصفات المظهرية (ارتفاع النبات، المساحة الورقية، عدد الاوراق/النبات، الوزن الطري والجاف للمجموع الخضري والجذري للنبات الواحد). اما عن تأثير ملح كلوريد الصوديوم في الصفات الفسيولوجية فقد اظهرت النتائج حدوث زيادة معنوية في محتوى الكاربوهيدرات في الاوراق كلما زاد تركيز الملح، في حين اعطت معاملة 75 ملي مولر من الملح زيادة غير معنوية في محتوى الكلوروفيل مقارنة بالسيطرة ، بينما انخفض معنوياً محتوى الاوراق من الكلوروفيل في معاملة 150 ملي مولر من ملح كلوريد الصوديوم. اما عن تأثير الزنك في صفات النبات فقد ادت معاملة الحبوب بتركيز 9 جزء بالمليون الى زيادة معنوية في ارتفاع النبات مقارنة بالسيطرة في حين انخفض ارتفاع النبات معنويا عند معاملة 18 جزء بالمليون . كما حصل انخفاض معنوي في المساحة الورقية كلما زاد تركيز الزنك، بينما اعطى التركيز 18 جزء بالمليون اعلى معدل لعدد الاوراق في النبات بلغ 7.840 ورقة/النبات مقارنة بالسيطرة التي اعطت 7.587 ورقة/نبات. اعطى التركيز 9جزء بالمليون زيادة غير معنوية في الوزن الطري والجاف للمجموع الخضري والجذري اذ أعطى معدل 9.365 و 2.979 و 15.77 و2.13 غم /نبات على التوالي مقارنة مع معاملة السيطرة، لكنه تسبب في حصول انخفاض غير معنوي في معدل الاوزان الطرية والجافة عند معاملة 18 جزء بالمليون من الزنك. تسبب التركيز 9جزء بالمليون من الزنك في حصول انخفاض غير معنوي في محتوى الكلوروفيل الكلي اذ اعطى 2.499 ملغم/غم مقارنة بالسيطرة التي اعطت 2.819 ملغم/غم بينما ادى استعمال التركيز 18 جزء بالمليون الى حصول زيادة معنوية في محتوى الكلوروفيل. حصل انخفاض غير معنوي في محتوى الكاربوهيدرات مع زيادة تركيز الزنك. وحدثت زيادة معنوية في الصفات الفسيولوجية المتمثلة بمحتوى الكلوروفيل والكاربوهيدرات في معاملة التداخل بين 75 ملي مولر كلوريد الصوديوم + 9 جزء بالمليون من الزنك. ويستنتج من هذه الدراسة بان نقع الحبوب بالزنك ادى الى تقليل التأثير السلبي لملح كلوريد الصوديوم على الصفات المظهرية والفسيولوجية للنباتات قيد الدراسة.

Abstract

Two factorial experiments were conducted the first in the laboratory and the second in the green house according to complete randomized block design with three replicates, to study the effect of five levels of irrigation water varying in the electrical conductivity there are 1.4, 2.7, 4.1, 5.2 and 6.8 dS.m-1(W1, W2, W3, W4 and W5) respectively, on the germination and growth of three species of medicinal plants are coriander Coriandrum sativum L., cumin Nigella sativa L. and anise Pimpinella anisum L.(C, N and P) respectively, K+/Na+ ratio in plant tissue and salinity sensitivity rate index(Is) after three months from sowing plus to following soil salinity development as result to studied irrigation water used. The results showed highly significant differences were observed in germination degree, also the increasing in salinity of irrigation water was reduced the germination speed for all studied plant species, with superiority the anise and coriander in resistance to irrigation water salinity increasing in comparison with cumin which showed less salt tolerance. The results of greenhouse experiment showed same effected for irrigation water salinity on germination, also plants growth in the soil but with less degree on the studied species in comparison with laboratory experiment. W5 treatment showed the irrigation water salinity threshold for coriander associated with lower value for K+/Na+ ratio if we used this type of water to plants irrigation, with significant increasing in soil salinity.

نفذت تجربتان عاملية الاولى مختبرية والثانية في الظلة الخشبية وفق تصميم القطاعات العشوائية الكاملة وبواقع ثلاث مكررات لكل معاملة، لدراسة تأثير خمس مستويات من ملوحة مياه الري وهي 1.4 و 2.7 و4.1 و 5.2 و 6.8 ديسيسيمنز.م-1 (W1 و W2وW3 وW4 وW5) على التوالي، في أنبات ونمو ثلاث أنواع من النباتات الطبية وهي الكزبرة Coriandrum sativum L. وحبة البركة Nigella sativa L. وحبة الحلوة Pimpinella anisum L. (C وN وP) على التوالي، ونسبة آيوني K+/Na+ في انسجة الجزء الخضري للنبات ودليل مدى التحسس لتأثير الملوحة بعد ثلاث اشهر من الزراعة، إضافة الى متابعة تطور ملوحة التربة نتيجة استعمال المياه المدروسة. أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق عالية المعنوية في مرحلة الانبات، وبصورة عامة لوحظ أن زيادة ملوحة مياه الري قد قلل نسب الإنبات وسرعة أنبات البذور ولجميع الأنواع النباتية قيد الدراسة، مع تفوق الحبة الحلوة الكزبرة من حيث المقاومة لزيادة ملوحة مياه الري في حين أظهرت حبة البركة أقل مقاومة عند هذه المرحلة من نمو النبات. اما نتائج تجربة الظلة الخشبية فأنها أظهرت نفس السلوك العام في أنخفاض نسب الإنبات بزيادة ملوحة مياه الري ولكن بدرجة أقل ، وان المعاملة W5 تعتبر عتبة الملوحة لمياه الري لنبات الكزبرة، رافقها ادنى قيمة للـ K+/Na+ عند استخدام هذا النوع من المياه في ري النباتات، مع وجود زيادة عالية المعنوية في ملوحة التربة عند استخدامها للري.

The Study aimed to determine the impact of aqueous extract of plant bulbs of garlic seeds Allium sativum and scelery Apium gravealens measuring the biological effect on the adult house fly Musca domestica L. Different concentrations (1000, 2000, 3000ppm) of iequeous extract of both plants with time periods(6, 12, 24) hours in order to assess the likely impact of both at plants through insect exposure to aqueous extracts of nutrition Feeding method.The results showed that the rate of mortality of adult in aqueous extract of bulbs plant garlic is higher than in the extract of the seeds celery, reaching the highest percentage in plant extract of garlic 67.5 %, while the highest rate was in the plant celery 38.75% at 3000 ppm.The study showed that the adult mortality percentege at (24) hors period is higher compared with the period of (6، 12) hours for both plants and all concentration

استهدفت الدراسة معرفة تأثير المستخلص المائي لأبصال نبات الثوم Allium sativum وبذور نبات الكرفس Apium gravealens في قياس الفعـالية البايــولوجية لبالـــــغات الذبابة المنزليةMusca domestica وبالتراكيز 1000،2000، 3000 ppm) ( من المستخلص المائي لكـلا النباتين وللفتـــــــــــــرات الزمنيـــــة ( 24, 12, 6 ) ساعة لغرض تقييم التأثير المحتمل لبذور كلا النباتين من خلال تعرض الحشرة للمستخلص المائي للنباتين بطريقة التغذيةFeeding method .أوضــحت النـــتائج أن نــسبة الــهلاك البــالغات فــي الـمستخلص المائي لأبصال نبات الثوم أعلى مما هي عليه في مستخلص بذور نبات الكرفس، أذ بــــلغت أعلى نسبة لهلاك البالغات في مستخلص نبات الثوم 67.5% بينما بلغت أعلى نسبة في نبات الكرفس 38.75 % وبالتركيز (3000) ppm، كما بينــــــــــــت الدراسة أن نسبة هلاك الحشرة في الفترة الزمنية (24) ساعة هي اعلــــــــــى مما هي عليه في الفــــترتين( 12، 6 ) ساعة لكلا النباتين وفي جميع التراكيز.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to prepare and identification of the hydroxamic acid derivatives of diethyl succinate which are considered as selective ligands of the Iron (III). The synthesis of hydroxamic acid derivatives was performed as described in the preparation of the complex of ferric ion( Fe3+) with hydroxamic acid compound and other compounds through the interaction of hydroxamic acid compound with ferric chloride FeCl3 in the presence of basic medium. Identification of the prepared compounds through determination of molecular weights and melting points as will as I.R and U.V spectroscopic absorption..Also, determination stoichiometric ratio between the derivatives of hydroxamic acids compounds and ferric ion( Fe3+ ) by using the mole – ratio method showed that the ratio between metal and ligand is (1:3) (metal : ligand).

يتضمن البحث تحضير وتشخيص لمركبات حامض الهيدروكساميك المشتقة من استر ثنائي ايثايل سكسنيت (Diethyl Succinate) التي تعد ليكاندات انتقائية ثنائية السن لعنصر الحديد. حيث تم تحضير ودراسة مركبات حامض الهايدركساميك كما في تحضير معقد ثلاثي (4- اوكسو -4- ايثوكسي بيوتان هايدروكساميت حديديك (III)) وذلك بتفاعل مركبات حوامض الهيدروكساميك مع كلوريد الحديديك وفي وسط قاعدي. وتم تعيين الاوزان الجزيئية ودرجة الانصهار للمركبات المحضرة وتشخيصها بالطرق الطيفية اضافة الى تعيين نسبة الاتحاد العنصري بين مشتقات حامض الهايدروكساميك وايون الحديد الثلاثي Fe3+باستخدام طريقة النسبة المولية. حيث وجد ان نسبة الاتحاد العنصري بين الفلز والليكاند هي1:3)) (فلز : ليكاند).

Abstract

This research included the study of the level of serotonin concentration and the activity of Acetylcholine esterase and their relationship with diabetes type I compared with healthy people (control group). Some other biological variations has been studied accompanying such as the concentration of glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL,LDL,VLDL in women with type I diabetes compared to healthy..Blood samples have been taken from to women with type I diabetes (IDDM) who are diagnosed by doctors, specialists, ages ranged between 17-37 years. Included in the study (60) model of the blood serum of women with type I diabetes as well as the control group, which included (40) model of the blood serum of healthy women.The study showed a significant increase in the activity of Acetylcholine esterase and the not significant increase in the level of serotonin in women with diabetes type I, as well as a significant increase in the level of concentration of glucose, HbA1C, cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL,VLDL with diabetes compared with control.It also examined the correlation between the level of serotonin and Acetylcholine esterase and Biological Variations of patients with diabetes type I and the control group it was found a positive coloration between the activity of Acetylcholine esterase and the value of the BMI and the level of glucose, HbA1C, the level of triglycerides,and VLDL. While there was a negative coloration between the level of serotonin, BMI, blood pressure, HDL, and there was a positive coloration between the level of serotonin and the concentration of cholesterol, triglycerides and VLDL.

تضمن هذا البحث دراسة مستوى تركيز السيروتونين وفعالية أنزيم الاستيل كولين استريز وعلاقتهما بداء السكري من النوع الأول المعتمدين على الانسولين (IDDM) مقارنة مع الأصحاء (مجموعة السيطرة).ودرست كذلك بعض المتغيرات الكيموحيوية المرافقة مثل تركيز الكلوكوز، الكلوليستيرول، الكلسيرايدات الثلاثية، والبروتين الدهني العالي الكثافة، البروتين الدهني الواطئ الكثافة، البروتين الدهني الواطئ الكثافة جدا, لدى المصابات بداء السكري من النوع الاول مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة.تم الحصول على نماذج مصل الدم من النساء المصابات بداء السكري النوع الاول (IDDM) اللواتي شخصن من قبل اطباء مختصون تراوحت اعمارهن 37-17 سنة. وشملت الدراسة (60) نموذجا من مصل دم النساء المصابات بداء السكري النوع الاول فضلا عن مجموعة السيطرة التي شملت (40) نموذج من مصل دم النساء الاصحاء. أظهرت الدراسة وجود ارتفاع معنوي في فعالية أنزيم الاستيل كولين استريز(p=0.0001) وارتفاع غير معنوي في مستوى السيروتونين (p= 0.101) في مصل دم النساء المصابات بداء السكري النوع الاول، كما تبين وجود ارتفاع معنوي في مستوى تركيز الكلوكوز، الهموغلوبين السكري، الكوليستيرول، الكليسيرايدات الثلاثية، البروتين الدهني الواطئ الكثافة، البروتين الدهني واطئ الكثافة جدا في المصابات بداء السكري بالمقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة. كذلك درست العلاقة بين هرمون السيروتونين وأنزيم الاستيل كولين استريز وعدد من المتغيرات السريرية لدى مرضى السكري النوع الاول ومجموعة السيطرة حيث تبين وجود علاقة طردية بين فعالية الاستيل لكولين استريز ودليل كتلة الجسمم (BMI), ومستوى الكلوكوز، الهموغلوبين السكري، مستوى الدهون الثلاثية، البروتين الدهني واطئ الكثافة جدا. في حين تبين وجود علاقة عكسية بين مستوى السيروتونين ودليل كتلة الجسم ((BMI وضغط الدم والبروتين الدهني عالي الكثافة، بينما كانت هناك علاقة طردية واضحة بين مستوى السيروتونين وتركيز الكوليسترول والدهون الثلاثية والبروتين الدهني واطئ الكثافة جدا.

Abstract

This work includes synthesis of new ester compounds for D– dulcitol on the primary hydroxyl group (C1 or C6) in the dulcitol molecule by the reaction of dulcitol with pure fatty acid esters as (Methyl stearate, Methyl laurate، Methyl hexanoate, Methyl palmitate) to obtain 1 (6)– Mono ester -D- dulcitol (A–D) respectively, and with crude oil (tri glyceride) as (Castor oil, Sun flower oil، Cotton oil، Olive oil, Flax seed oil, Corn oil) to obtain mixture ester compounds 1 (6) –Mono ester –D- dulcitol (E–J) respectively. These compounds prepared by transesterification method in basic medium also detected the reaction flow of or by (TLC) technique and these compounds were characterized by (FT– IR)، (1H-NMR) and elemental analysis (C.H.N.S). Also this work includes studying some physical properties of the prepard ester compounds like foam test, surface tension to know their used capability as Detergents and emulsions. This study shows that the prepared compounds having good detergent and emulsion properties

تضمن البحث تحضير مشتقات أستريه جديده لـ-D - دلسيتول على احدى مجموعتي الهيدروكسيل الطرفية (C1 او C6) بمفاعلة الدلسيتول مع استرات الحوامض الدهنيه النقية (ستيارات المثيل، لورات المثيل، هكسانوات المثيل، بالمتات المثيل) لنحصل على مركبات 1(6) احادي أستر- D - دلسيتول (A-D)على التوالي, ومع الكلسريدات الثلاثيه الخام (زيت الخروع, زيت زهره الشمس، زيت القطن، زيت الزيتون، زيت بذرة الكتان، زيت الذره) لنحصل على مزيج من مركبات الاسترات 1(6) احادي استر - D - دلسيتول (E - J) على التوالي. وقد تم تحضير هذه المركبات بطريقة الاستره المتبادلة في الوسط القاعدي، تم متابعة سير التفاعلات بتقنية كروموتوكرافيا الطبقه الرقيقه (TLC) وشخصت المركبات المحضره طيفيا" بتقنية (FT – IR) و (1H-NMR) وتحليل عناصرها بتقنيه (C.H.N.S). كما تضمن البحث دراسة بعض الخواص الفيزيائيه للمركبات الاستريه المحضره مثل قياس الرغوه والشد السطحي لمعرفة أمكانية استخدام هذه المركبات كمنظفات أومستحلبات حيث أظهرت الدراسه امتلاك هذه الاسترات خواص تنظيفيه واستحلابيه جيده.

Abstract

The study offers a description for the water treatment at Taza water assembly .The study aimed to evaluate the water treatment through comparing the characteristics with WHO and the Iraqi drinking water standards and detection the changes wich occur in raw treated water characteristics throuough the seasons and compartion between them .The study show that Taza water assembly has good efficiency for turbidity removal but not with dissolved salt removals because there are no units for removal these materials.The increase in sulphate value was due to treatment with Aluminum sulphate as coagulant for turbidity. The results showed that some characteristics for raw water were within standard levels.

تقدم هذه الدراسة وصفا تعريفيا لمراحل معالجة مياه الاستخدامات المدنية في مجمع ماء تازه وتهدف أساسا إلى تقييم معالجة المياه من خلال المقارنة بين الخصائص الفيزيائية والكيميائية قبل وبعد المعالجة ومقارنة هذه الخصائص مع المواصفات القياسية العراقية ومنظمة الصحة العالمية وكذلك معرفة التغييرات الحاصلة في خصائص الماء الخام والمعالج خلال فصول السنة المختلفة والمقارنة بينها .أظهرت الدراسة كفاءة عالية في إزالة العكارة في الوقت الذي لم تتحقق فيه إزالة تذكر للايونات المسببة للعسرة والأملاح الذائبة الكلية لعدم وجود الوحدات الخاصة بإزالتها ، كما اوضحت الدراسة زيادة ملحوضة في قيم الكبريتات بسبب استخدام كبريتات الالمنيوم كمادة مكتلة لازالة العكارة الى جانب ذلك بينت النتائج ان بعض الخصائص النوعية للمياه الخام واقعة اصلاً ضمن المواصفات المطلوبة مما يدل على صلاحية المياه للاستخدامات المدنية.

Abstract

This study dealt with the photo degradation of polystyrene films after exposing them to light using Schiff's bases of nickel-complex, the films were made after mixing with the polymer solution at different weight percentages in the range (0.025%-0.4%) with thickness (60 ± 5) micron using chloroform. The specimens were irradiated for different times using the same light intensity (1.5x10-8 ein.dm3s-1) at wavelength (356nm) at 40˚C. The photo degradation of the prepared films with and without additives were followed by FT.I.R technique for evaluating both ICO and IOH . U.V-vis was used to calculate the rate of degradation. The results indicated that the synthesized complex has induced the degradation which increases as the concentration of the additives increase which coincides the results of Kd increase which followed in presence and without of 0.05% of the added Nickel- complex by measuring of the number-average molecular weight and the degree of decomposition, the chain mean scission and the quantum yield. it was found that in the presence of the metal complex the decrement in the molecular weight M.W) increased and chain scission as well in parallel with other results.

تناول البحث دراسة حث التجزئة الضوئية لرقائق متعدد الستايرين بعد تعرضها الى الضوء باستخدام احدى قواعد شف لمعقد النيكل الثنائي, وتم تصنيع رقائق بوليمرية منها بعد مزجها مع محلول البوليمر وبنسب وزنيه في المدى بين (0.025% - 0.4%) وبسمك (60±5) مايكرون في مذيب الكلوروفورم. استخدم في تشعيع النماذج ضوء بطول موجي (356nm) وشدة (1.5x10-8 ein.dm3s-1) وبدرجة حرارة °40م وبأزمنة مختلفة. تمت متابعة التجزئة الضوئية للرقائق المحضرة, بوجود وعدم وجود المعقد المضاف باستخدام مطيافية الاشعة تحت الحمراء (F.T.I.R) من خلال متابعة نمو مجموعة الكاربونيل (ICO) والهيدروكسيل (IOH) وكذلك مطيافية الاشعة فوق البنفسجية- المرئية (U.V) بأحتساب ثابت سرعة التجزئه الضوئية للمضافات البوليمرية. اظهرت النتائج انه بزيادة تراكيز المعقد المضاف تزداد التجزئة الضوئية للرقائق البوليمرية مقارنة مع الرقائق الخالية منها وصاحب ذلك زيادة في قيم معاملي امتصاص الكاربونيل والهيدروكسيل. هذه النتائج تتفق مع قيم ثابت السرعة للتجزئة الضوئية (اعلى قيمة (Kd, كما تم دراسة التجزئة الضوئية للرقائق البوليمرية بوجود وعدم وجود تركيز(0.05%) من المعقد المضاف بمتابعة التغير في المعدل العددي للوزن الجزيئي, درجة التجزئة, معدل قطع السلسلة وقيم ناتج الكم حيث وجد انه بوجود المعقد يزداد التناقص في الوزن الجزيئي ويزداد معدل قطع السلسلة والنتائج الأخرى.

Abstract

Cross-sectional study was carried out at 105 specimen of serum divided to (70) specimen for patients with type II diabetes mellitus (40) male and (30) female, and (35) specimen for healthy (18) male and (17) female individuals in order to study the effect of disease to the liver functions.The results showed that significantly elevated the activity of Enzymes, total protein and uric acid in sera of patients with type II diabetes mellitus as compared with healthy Individuals as control group.
The effect of hypertension was also studies to the levels of liver function parameters of patients with diabetes mellitus. The results showed increased in the levels of GOT, GPT and decreased in the levels of GGT in sera of patients with hypertension and D.M. as compared with the patient of D.M. only, while the levels of albumin, total protein and uric acid were slightly elevated in sera of patients with hypertension and D.M. as compared with patient with D.M. only.

دراسة عرضية Cross-sectional study تم اجرائها على 105 عينة لمصل دم قسمت الى (70) عينة من اشخاص مصابين بداء السكري من النوع الثاني (40) ذكر و (30) أنثى، و (35) عينة من اشخاص اصحاء (18) ذكر و (17) أنثى كعينة ضابطة للمقارنة، للتعرف على تأثير داء السكري من النوع الثاني على وظائف الكبد.أظهرت نتائج الدراسة ارتفاع مستوى الأنزيمات والبروتين الكلي وحامض اليوريك في مصل الدم معنوياً مقارنة مع الأصحاء غير المصابين كعينة ضابطة. درس تأثير الاصابة بفرط ضغط الدم على وظائف كبد المصابين بداء السكري، واظهرت النتائج ارتفاع مستوى نشاط الانزيمين GOT وGPT في حين اظهر انزيم GGT انخفاضا ملحوظا في نشاط الانزيم في امصال دم المرضى المصابين بالسكري وفرط ضغط الدم مقارنة بالمصابين بالسكري. اما مستويات البروتين الكلي، الالبومين وحامض اليوريك فقد اظهرت ارتفاعا ملحوظا في امصال دم المصابين بفرط ضغط الدم والسكري مقارنة بالعينة الضابطة.

Abstract

The study was performed at Al-Ramadi City. It was aimed to investigate the effect of some heavy metals which release from diesel generator exhausts on workers health by measuring the concentrations of heavy metals (Cadmium, Lead, and Zinc), and their effects on blood variables and lipids profile in serum. The study included two groups: the first control group consisted of 25 normal male (non workers), and the second generator exposed workers consisted of 40 male (generator workers). Blood samples were collected from each two groups where each sample was divided in two parts, the first part tested variables while estimated blood concentrations of heavy metals and lipids profile. Data were treated statistically using Genstat program, and the averages of the studied values were compared by least significant difference (LSD) at the P 0.05 level of probability.
The results showed that the impact of exposure workers diesel generators for vapors emitted from generator exhausts (generators factor) have significantly affected in some blood variables under study. The concentrations of heavy metals recorded are significantly increased compared with the controlled group at probability of P 0.05, which have significant effect on other variables under study.

أنجز هذا البحث في مدينة الرمادي إذ استهدف دراسة تأثیر بعض العناصر الثقيلة التي تنبعث مع أبخرة عوادم مولدات الديزل من خلال قياس تأثير العناصر الثقيلة (الكادميوم، الرصاص، والخارصين) في المتغيرات الدموية وصورة الدهون في مصل الدم للعاملين في المولدات بالمقارنة مع نماذج سيطرة. شملت الدراسة مجموعتين: الأولى مجموعة السیطرة وتكونت من 25 عينة من الذكور غیر المتعرضین لعوادم مولدات الديزل، والثانیة تكونت من 40 عينة للعاملين في المولدات. جمعت عینات الدم من المجموعتين وقد قسمت كل عينة على جزئين، الجزء الأول اختبرت فيها المتغيرات الدموية في حين قدرت تراكيز العناصر الثقيلة وصور الدهون في الجزء المتبقي من الدم. عولجت البيانات إحصائياً ببرنامج Genstat قورنت متوسطات القيم التي تم الحصول عليها من خلال اختبار أقل فرق معنوي (L.S.D) عند مستوى احتمالية P  0.05 .أظهرت النتائج تأثير تعرض عاملي مولدات الديزل للأبخرة المنبعثة من عوادمها (عامل المولدات) في محتوى الدم من العناصر الثقيلة والذي أثر تأثيراً معنوياً في بعض الصفات قيد الدراسة إذ ارتفع محتوى الدم من عنصري الكادميوم والخارصين في دم عاملي المولدات مسجلاً فارقاً معنوياً عند مستوى احتمالية P  0.05 بالمقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة، وقد ترك هذا الارتفاع أثراً معنوياً متباين القيم على العوامل قيد الدراسة.

Abstract

This work includes preparation binary and ternary polymeric blends by Hand lay-up molding from Epoxy resin, Unsaturated polyester and polyvinyl chloride ( PVC) with different weight ratios. The wear resistance (which includes change in applied load and hardness (shore)) were study before and after immersion in (HCL) solution with (0.3) normality. The experimental results show that the wear rate was increased with increasing applied load and immersion time. Also the results show that shore hardness was decreased after immersion in (HCL) solution

تضمن البحث تحضير خلائط بوليمرية ثنائية وثلاثية بطريقة القولبة اليدوية من راتنج الايبوكسي وراتنج البولي استر غير المشبع والبولي فنيل كلورايد (PVC) وبنسب وزنية مختلفة .في هذا البحث تم دراسة مقاومة البلى التي تتضمن التغّير في الحمل المسلط وكذلك الصلادة قبل وبعد الغمر في المحلول الحامضي وبتركيز ( 0.3 N).اوضحت النتائج بأن مقاومة البلى تزداد مع زيادة الحمل المسلط ومع زمن الغمر .كذلك اوضحت النتائج بأن صلادة شور تقل بعد الغمر في المحلول الحامضي.

Abstract

Thin film of Cu0.5In0.5S2 has been prepared by spray pyrolysis on different substrate of silicon and glass slides (25mm ×25mm) substrate at temperature (Ts) of 300 ±10oC . The thickness of thin films is 500 ±20nm. The morphology of the prepared film showed asmooth formationwith small grain sizes overall the entire surface.This indicates that the formation of crystalline compounds. The optical characteristics of thin film have been investigated by UV-VIS spectrophotometer in the wavelength range (300 -1000nm ) . The film has a direct allows electronic transition with the optical energy gap ( Eg ) of 2.9 eV . The broadening of the band gap energy occurs with the decrease in the crystallite size. The papered film revealed a good light trapping of wide wavelength spectrum. This means the film is promising in optoelectronic applications. The electrical properties were investigated using Hall measurements techniques; the result provides an evidence of p-type .

تم تحضير غشاء من Cu0.5In0.5S2 بطريقة التحلل الكيميائي الحراري على قواعد من الزجاج وبأبعاد 25 x 25 ملم , وبحرارة سطح 350 ± 10 درجة سليزية . تم قياس سمك النماذج وقد وجد ان السمك 500 ± 20 نانو متر. اظهرت دراسة السطح ان الأفلام المحضرة كانت صقيله وبأحجام متباينة وموزعة على معظم السطح . تم دراسة الخواص البصرية باستخدام الــ UV –VIS بمدى طول موجي من 300-1000 نانو متر . امتلك الغشاء المحضر انتقالات الكترونية مسموحة بفجوة طاقة 2.9 eV).). ان هذا التعريض في قيمة فجوة الطاقة هو دالة للنقصان في أ لحجم الحبيبي . اظهر الغشاء المحضر مراكز اقتناص جيد لمدى طول موجي عريض مما يعني ان هذا الغشاء هو ممكن استخدامه في تطبيقات الكهرو بصرية مثل الخلايا الشمسية . اظهرت نتائج القياسات الكهربائية ان الغشاء من النوع P-type.

Abstract

In this research work optical and structural properties for (CdS) thin films were studied .The (CdS) thin films were prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis with different substrate temperatures (250,300,350,400) C0 . Such a film was deposited on glass slides substrate of (350) nm thickness . The absorption coefficient was found to be greater than (104)cm-1 for all films and hence allowed for electrons transation . The value of the energy gap for (CdS) thin films prepared by the previous mentioned substrate temperatures became (2.3, 2.45, 2.55, 2.6) eV, respectively.The absorption coefficient ,transmittance ,refractive index and extinction coefficient) found to be dependent on the substrate temperatures . The structure of the (CdS) thin films have been diagnosed by the use of X-ray diffraction (XRD) . This technology was applied to the poly crystalline and Hexagonal structure . The results of the X-ray diffraction showed that grain-size increases with substrate temperature increasing.

تم في هذا البحث دراسة الخواص التركيبية والبصرية لأغشية المركب (CdS) الرقيقة المحضرة بطريقة الرش الكيميائي الحراري وبدرجات حرارة أساس مختلفة (250,300,350,400)C0 والمرسبة على قواعد زجاجية وبسمك (350) nm. وجد إن معامل الامتصاص البصري (α (أكبر من (104) cm-1 لجميع الأغشية ، وهذا يعني أن الانتقالات الالكترونية من النوع المباشر المسموح . إنﱠ قيم فجوة الطاقة البصرية للأغشية المحضرة أصبحت(2.3, 2.45, 2.55, 2.6)eV , وكذلك بينت الدراسات أن (معامل الامتصاص، النفاذية، معامل الانكسار ومعامل الخمود) تعتمد على درجة حرارة الأساس إذ تزداد بزيادتها، وقد تم تشخيص تركيب الأغشية بتقنية حيود الأشعة السينية (XRD) حيث كانت الأغشية متعددة التبلور وذات تركيب سداسي، كما أوضحت نتائج حيود الأشعة السينية إن الحجم الحبيبي يزداد بزيادة درجة حرارة الأساس.

Abstract

The single crystal of semiconductor no longer be perfect, but contains some defect in the structure and surface of twining, lineage structure, grain boundaries. Search included the adoption of technical betting that chemical and microscopic tests to determine defects on the surface of silicon wafer for the planes (111), (110) after the transactions mechanical and fluids through showing my favorites. Use this search chromium oxide solution in acid to show lineage structure on single silicon wafer with the planes (111), (110) showed microscopic examinations on the bodies of the geometric form of a matrix triangles in a row, a row matrix of rectangles in one direction and running. Shows the lineage structure by the movement of dislocations leading to the displacement of the crystal lattice toward Berger vector. Has been the adoption of CP-4 solution in a show on the twin single silicon chip with the levels (111), (110). Where tests showed microscopic differences in the reflectivity of light to the surface because of the difference in per vector for the same crystal plane, and classify the types of forms to surface twinning and contact twinning so as to form a two-way symmetrical in the same plane. While the CP-4 solution genitive copper ions show polycrystalline silicon crystals on the surface, where tests show the implications of different optical microscopy and multiple segments of the crystal.

ان البلورات الأحادية لأشباه الموصلات لاتكون مثالية بل تحوي فى بنيتها بعض العيوب السطحية والمتمثلة بالتوأمية، التركيب السلالي، الحدود الحبيبية. تضمن البحث اعتماد تقنية الاظهار الكيميائي الفحوصات المجهرية لتحديد العيوب السطحية على ا لشرائح السليكونية وللمستويات (111)، (0 11) بعد المعاملات الميكانيكية وأستخدام محاليل الاظهار المفضلة .استخدم خلال هذا البحث محلول أوكسيد الكروم الحامضي في أظهار التركيب السلالي على شرائح السليكون الأحادية للمستويات111))، (110) حيث أظهرت الفحوصات المجهرية هيئات هندسية على شكل مصفوفة مثلثات متتالية، مصفوفة مستطيلات متتالية في اتجاه واحد وعلى التوالي . يظهر التركيب السلالي بسبب تحرك الانخلاعات بشكل تسلقي مؤدية الى ازاحة الشبيكة البلورية بأتجاه متجه بركر. لقد تم اعتماد محلول CP-4 في اظهار التوأمية على شرائح السـليكون الأحادية للمستويات111))، (110). حيث اظهرت الفحوصات المجهرية الاختلاف في انعكاسية الضوء للسطح الواحد بسبب الاختلاف في الأتجاهية ولنفس المستوي البلوري، وتصنف تلك الاشكال الى انواع من التوأمة السطحية والتوأمة التماسية وذلك لتكوين أتجاهين متناظرين في المستوي الواحد. بينما أدى محلول CP-4 المضاف اليه ايونات النحاس الى اظهار التركيب المتعدد البلورات على سطوح بلورات السليكون، حيث تظهر الفحوصات المجهرية انعكاسات ضوئية مختلفة ومتعددة على شرائح البلورة.

Abstract

In this work CdO/Si heterojunction detector were fabricated by depositing CdO thin film on p-type single crystal silicon wafers by chemical bath deposition technique(CBD) . The effect of cadmium ion concentration on the structural properties of deposited film and optoelectronic characteristics of fabricated detector has been considered in this work . From the x-ray diffraction result, it is shown that the CdO film has a single crystalline in cubic structure with preferential orientation along the (311) crystal plane. The -voltage characteristics under dark result, it is shown that ideality factor of heterojunction has higher value(n˃1).From current-voltage characteristics under illuminations result, it is shown that photocurrent increase with increasing cadmium ion concentration in solution. The capacitance–voltage characteristic shows a typical abrupt heterojunction. The optoelectronic characteristics shows the CdO/Si detector has good spectral responsivity in visible and NIR with higher peak responsivity at 900 nm were found 0.38 A/W.

في هذا البحث تم تصنيع كاشف المفرق الهجين CdO/Si وذلك بترسيب غشاء CdO على شرائح سليكونية أحادية البلورة نوع(p-type) بتقنية ترسيب بالحمام الكيميائي. وتم دراسة تأثير تركيز ايونات الكادميوم على الخصائص التركيبية للغشاء المرسب والخصائص الكهروبصرية للكاشف المصنع. نتائج حيود الأشعة السينية بينت إن غشاء CdO يمتلك تركيب أحادي التبلور في الطور المكعب بأفضل اتجاه بلوري هو(311). وخواص تيار-جهد في حالة الظلام بينت عامل المثالية(n) للمفرق لمختلف ظروف الترسيب يأخذ قيم كبيرة (1>). نتائج تيار جهد تحت الإضاءة بينت أن التيار الضوئي يزداد مع زيادة تركيز ايونات الكادميوم في الحلول .وخصائص سعة -جهد بينت أن المفرق الهجين من نوع الحاد. والقياسات الكهروبصرية بينت إن الكاشف CdO/Si يمتلك استجابية طيفية جيدة في المنطقة المرئية وتحت الحمراء القريبة مع اعلي قمة للاستجابية عند طول موجي 900 nm بلغت 0.38 A/W.

Abstract

The present study aimed at examining the levels of antioxidants in pregnant women (in their 3rd trimester) in Ramadi city. It included collecting blood samples after a 12 hours fasting period from 25 pregnant women in week 36 of their pregnancy at Ramadi Hospital for Maternity and Childhood for the period extending from the 1st of December, 2010 to the 1st of May, 2011. The levels of Malondialdehyde (MDA), Glutathione (GSH), Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) and Vitamins A and C were measured. Results have shown a significant increase in the levels of Malondialdehyde (MDA) and Body mass index (BMI), which were 3.376 (µmol/l) and 29.504(Kg/m2), respectively in the experiment group in comparison with the control group which were 1.795(µmol/l) and 24.68(Kg/m2), respectively. Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) show significant decrease 0.013 in the experiment group in comparison with the control group which was 0.082. Nonenzymic antioxidants namely; Glutathione and vitamins A and C, on the other hand, revealed a significant decrease, 3.616(µmol ), 0.361(mg/l) and 0.457(mg/l), respectively in the experiment group in comparison with the control group, which were 10.591(µmol), 0.668(mg/l) and 1.283(mg/l), respectively.

هدف البحث دراسة مستوى مضادات الأكسدة لدى النساء الحوامل (في الشهر التاسع من الحمل)في مدينة الرمادي. شملت الدراسة جمع عينات الدم بعد فترة صيام 12 ساعة لــ 25 امرأة حامل في الأسبوع 36 من مستشفى النسائية والأطفال لمدينة الرمادي للفترة من (1/12/2010) ولغاية (1/5/2011). تم قياس مستوى المالون ثنائي الديهايد ومستوى الكلوتاثايون وفعالية أنزيم سوبر اوكسايد دسميوتيز وتركيز فيتامينا A وC. وقد أظهرت النتاج ارتفاعا معنويا في مستوى المالون ثنائي الديهايد ((µmol/l 3.376) بالمقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة (µmol/l)1.795 وانخفاض مستوى أنزيم سوبر اوكسايد دسميوتيز ) 0.013 ) بالمقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة, 0.082 ), في حين أظهرت مضادات الأكسدة غير الإنزيمية وهي الكلوتاثايون وفيتاميناC وAانخفاض معنوي(µmol/l)3.616 , (mg/l)0.361 , (mg/l)0.457) على التوالي بالمقارنة مع مستوياتها في مجموعة السيطرة (1.283(mg/l) ,0.668(mg/l) ,10.591(µmol/l).

Abstract

Degradation of oral health is often assumed to progress with aging. However, significantly higher total counts and greater varieties of Candida species can be detected in wearers of removable dentures compared with non denture wearers. Poorly fitting or unhygienic dentures leads to the presence of yeast like fungi (Candida albicans) attached to it, and cause inflammation. Although candidiasis is highly resistant to antifungal agents, systemic drugs usage are necessary. But the systemic use of these drugs can cause side effects like liver toxicity, drug interactions etc. Using propolse as antifungal by local application, found that it suppresses the Candida associated dry socket and denture stomatitis. The Propolis past was used in the following manner. It was applied to the fitting surface of denture, twice a day for 2 weeks. The Propolis putty was putted in dry socket after complete removal of inflammatory tissues from it. The results showed pain, redness area and inflammation related stomatitis were disappear gradually after 48 hours until 2 weeks that the denture stomatitis is healing by using a Propolis past. Propolis putty treat the fungal inflammation of dry socket that gradual decreases of the pain and inflammation. After the treatment, all patients with denture stomatitis were subjected to examination of the palatal mucosa and socket and quantitative culture of Candida from the palatal mucosa and denture fitting surface and diagnosed by three method :Germ tube. Gram Stain. and Chrom Agar media.

تشهد صحة الفم غالبا تدهورا مع تقدم العمر علاوة على ذلك زيادة اعداد من انواع كثيرة مختلفة من مستعمرات المبيضات البيضاء مع الاشخاص الذين يستخدمون طقوم الاسنان المتحركة مقارنة مع الذين لايستخدمونها. و المبيضات البيضاء (G+) قادرة على العيش كأحياء طبيعية في فم الاشخاص الاصحاء. عدم ثباتية الطقم او عدم نظافة الطقوم يؤدي الى وجود الفطريات Candida albicans والالتصاق بها وتؤدي الى الالتهابات الفموية. بالرغم من ان الميضات البيضاء عالية المقاومة لمضادات الفطريات السطحية فان النظام الدوائي يكون ضروريا ولكنه يؤدي الى مضاعفات جانبيه مثل تسمم الكبد والتداخل الدوائي والخ واستخدم البروبولس موضعيا كمضاد للفطريات لقمع المبيضات البيضاء المصاحبه (dry socket and stomatitis) . كما يلي : يوضع معجون البروبولس على السطح النسيجي للطقم مرتين في اليوم لمدة اسبوعين اما عجينة البروبولس فانها تستخدم في مكان قلع السن الملتهب بعد تنظيفه من الأنسجة الملتهبة. اظهرت النتائج اختفاء تدريجي للألم واحمرار المنطقة الملتهبة من سقف الفم ومكان قلع السن بعد يومين واختفائها نهائيا بعد اسبوعين من استخدام البروبولس. بعد العلاج تم فحص سقف الفم ومكان قلع السن واخذت عينات منها لفحصها مختبريا بثلاثة طرق وهي: Germ Germ tube . Gram stain and Chromo agar media.

Abstract

Lettuce is one of the most important edible plant worldwide. At the time that lettuce is the candidate plant to carry the foreign vaccine gene for human. The B subunits of toxin of Vibrio cholerae (CTB) are candidate vaccine antigens. This research was conduct to express CTB gene in lettuce chloroplast. Genes required in this study were obtained by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique using specific forward and reverse primers, and these genes were CTB, BADH, prrn promoter and many other regulatory genes. Some of these genes were isolated from their hosts and some were obtained from previous work available at Daniell laboratory. All these genes beside many techniques for ligation, extension, sequencing, orientation confirmation were used to construct the cassette vector pLS-BADH-LS-CTB which carries the gene of interest. In this work the CTB gene with BADH gene were transferred to the chloroplast of lettuce plant and selection of transgenic plant was performed on the MS medium containing BA and NaCl without any antibiotic selectable marker. Integration of an unmodified CTB-coding sequence into chloroplast genomes (up to 1000 copies per cell) resulted in the accumulation of up to 6.2% of total soluble lettuce leaves protein as functional oligomers (620-fold higher expression levels than that of the unmodified CTB gene expressed via the nuclear genome). PCR and Southern blot analyses confirmed stable integration of the CTB gene and BADH gene into the chloroplast genome in addition to the integration in the right orientation and in specific region between trnaI\trnA.Western blot analysis showed that the chloroplast synthesized CTB assembled into oligomers and were antigenically identical with purified native CTB.

يعد نبات الخس واحد من النباتات المأكولة المهمة في العالم , ويتعبر ايضا نبات مرشح لحمل الجينات الغريبة الى الانسان. يعد الجزءB من سم بكتريا Vibrio cholera من الانتجينات المرشحة للعل كلقاح للانسان. صممت هذه الدراسة لنقل جين المسؤول عن انتاج السم B الى البلاستيدات الخضراء لنبات الخس. عزلت الجينات المطلوبة لعمل هذه الدراسة باستخدام تقنية تفاعل استطالة السلسلة PCR والذي استخدم لعزل الجينات التنظيمية مع CTB, BADH and Prrn وقد تم عزل هذه الجينات من اماكن تواجدها باستخدام بادئات خاصة وقسم منها تم عزلها من نواقل كلونة مصممة سابقا لهذا الغرض في مختبرات الدكتور دانيل في جامعة سينترال فلوريدا. استخدمت عدد من التقنيات بجانب تفاعل استطالة السلسلة للحصول على ناقل كلونة يحمل جين السم B وهذا الناقل هو pLS-BADH-LS-CTB , واستخدمت طريقة حقن الجينات باستخدام مسدس الجينات لحقن الجين الى البلاستيدة الخضراء لورقة الخس وتم الانتخاب الوراثي للنباتات المهندسة وراثيا على اساس تحملها للملوحة ومادة البيتايين الديهايد بدلا عن مقاومة المضادات الحيوية وهذا ما جعل هذا العمل اول عمل يتم لانتخاب الكائنات المهندسة وراثيا على اساس تحمل الملوحة. حملت النباتات المهندسة وراثيا جين انتاج لقاح الكوليرا في البلاستيدات الخضراء البالغ عددها حوالي 1000 بلاستيدة وكانت نسبة التعبير الجيني حوالي 6.2% من البروتين الكلية المعزول من النبات. استخدمت تقنية تفاعل استطالة السلسلة وتقنية وصمة ساوثرن لتاكيد المكان الصحيح لدخول الجينات في حين استخدمت تقنية وصمة ويسترن للتاكدي على انتاجية النبات ودقة التعبير الجيني.

Abstract

HBV DNA quantitation is used extensively worldwide for the diagnosis and monitoring of treatment of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. The aim of this study was to quantitate HBV DNA by Real time – PCR technique in patients with hepatitis B infections. Also to compare the results with serological markers of HBV detection by dipstick assay and by ELISA test. One hundred plasma samples of Hepatitis B patients (positive for hepatitis B surface antigen) using dipstick assay confirmed by ELISA test) were categorized into different groups according to their serological profile and the subjects of study were conducted to detect the presence of HBV DNA in blood samples using RT-PCR. Twenty specimens were taken from apparently healthy persons served as a negative controls. The amplification detection was carried out by using Smart Cycler II analysis software version 2.0 -sequence detector. HBV DNA was detected upon amplification in 86/100 (47 males and 39 females) patients positive for HBsAg. HBsAg positive patients showed different viral load depending on the presence or absence of other serological marker (HBsAb, HBeAg, HBeAb and HBcAb) of HBV in their plasma samples. Detection of HBV DNA by Real-time PCR technique serves as an important tool besides serology in a number of clinical settings, especially in determining low levels of viremia in patients with non-replicative HBV disease and chronic hepatitis. HBeAg status did not necessarily reflect HBV-DNA level in the serum, as 76/90 of Hepatitis B group, were positive for HBV DNA but negative for HBeAg and three from ninety patients negative for HBeAg reported to have viral load of more than (100 million virion/ml).

التقدير الكمي للحامض النووي DNA لفايروس التهاب الكبد نمط ب HBV والذي يستخدم عالميا بشكل واسع في تشخيص الفايروس وكذلك تقدير فعالية العلاجات المستخدمة لعلاج الاصابة. الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو التقدير الكمي لفايروس HBV باستخدام تقنية RT-PCR في دم المرضى المصابين بهذا المرض ومقارنتها مع الفحوصات المصلية للفايروس والمقدرة باستخدام تقنية ELISA و الاختبار المناعي الكروماتوجرافي. شملت الدراسة 100 عينة بلازما لأشخاص مصابين (موجبة لاختبار المستضد السطحي الفايروسي HBsAg +ve) بالإضافة الى 20 عينة لأشخاص اصحاء (سالبة لاختبار المستضد السطحي الفايروسي HBsAg -ve). قسمت العينات الى مجموعات اعتمادا على الفحوص المصلية وكذلك اختبار الحامض النووي DNA للفايروس. عند اجراء الكشف عن الحامض النووي للفايروس تبين ان 86 (47 ذكور و 39 اناث) من عينات دم المصابين الئة كانت موجبة لهذا الفحص. لقد اظهرت الدراسة اختلاف اعداد الفايروسات (viral load) تبعا لنتائج الفحوصات المصلية الاخرى (HBsAb, HBeAg, HBeAb and HBcAb). كما اظهرت الدراسة اهمية استخدام تقنية RT-PCR الى جانب الفحوصات المصلية في تشخيص الاصابة كونها طريقة حساسة يمكنها الكشف عن النسب القليلة من الفايروس في دم المصابين. بينت الدراسة ان عدم وجود المستضد الغلافي HBeAg في دم الاشخاص لا يعكس بالضرورة (كما كان يعتقد سابقا) نسبة عدد الفايروسات في دم المصابين، حيث ان 76/90 من عينات دم المرضى كانت نتائج فحص الـ DNA لهم موجبة رغم ان اختبار المستضد الغلافي كان سالبا. كذلك فان 3 مرضى منهم كانت نسبة الحامض النووي الفايروسي لديهم اكثر من 100 مليون فايروس/مليلتر من الدم.

Abstract

This study was carried out to compare between recombinant immunoblot assay 3rd generation and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay for identify hepatitis C virus. Seventy six Iraqi patients undergo hepatitis C were involved in this study. The study was carried out from July 2010 to April 2011 were followed up in public health center- Baghdad. These patients included 54 males and 22 females as well as their ages ranged between (8-68) year with a mean age of 47.1±13.79, besides, the majority of patients are at the age between 31-60 year (54 %), while children elicit less frequency of infection (2 %). Additionally the ratio between male to female was 2.45:1. There are two methods which are used for HCV diagnosis. The first method by using ELISA technique for detection of anti HCV antibody. 61 out of 76 sera samples of hepatitis patients (i.e. 80.2%) were found to be positive for this test. Another advanced method such as recombinant immunoblot assay 3rd generation (RIBA) has been applied, all these specimens gave positive results (100 %) with significant difference was noticed between them (P<0.05), therefore the current results confirm that a RIBA 3rd generation is more sensitive manner to detect hepatitis C virus than ELISA.

أجريت هذه الدراسة للمقارنة بين التهجين المناعي البقعي الجيل الثالث و مقايسة الأنزيم المرتبط الممتز المناعي في التحري عن التهاب الكبد الفيروسي سي. أجريت الدراسة في مختبر الصحة المركزي- بغداد للفترة من حزيران 2010 ولغاية آب 2011. تضمنت الدراسة 76 مريض عراقي مصاب بالتهاب الكبد الفايروسي سي و مؤلفين من 54 ذكر و 22 أنثى و بعمر يتراوح من 8-68 سنة وبمعدل عمري قدره 47.1±13.79 وكذلك أوضحت الدراسة بان أكثر من نصف المرضى يقعون ضمن الفترة العمرية الممتدة من 31-60 سنة ( 54 % ) وبينما سجل الأطفال اقل إصابة وبنسبة (2%). وبالإضافة إلى ذلك كانت نسبة الذكور أعلى من الإناث 2.45:1. تم استخدام طريقتين لتشخيص التهاب الكبد الفايروسي سي ، الطريقة الأولى باستخدام مقايسة الأنزيم المرتبط الممتز المناعي في التحري عن التهاب الكبد الفيروسي سي ، حيث أوضحت النتائج بان 61 من مجموع 76 نموذج مصلي لمرضى التهاب الكبد الفيروسي اعطو نتيجة موجبة باستخدام هذه الطريقة وبنسبة (82%) وبينما أعطت جميع النماذج المصلية نتيجة موجبة باستخدام طريقة التهجين المناعي البقعي الجيل الثالث وبنسبة (100%) لذلك فان نتائج الدراسة اثبت بان طريقة التهجين المناعي البقعي الجيل الثالث أكثر حساسية من طريقة مقايسة الأنزيم المرتبط الممتز المناعي في التحري عن التهاب الكبد الفيروسي سي.

Abstract

Salinity is one of the major factors that limits geographical distribution of plants and adversely affects crop productivity and quality. Here high-level expression of betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase (BADH) was reported in cultured explants of lettuce via plastid genetic engineering. Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) plant was primarily experimented for tolerance of betaine aldehyde (BA) and soudium chloride (NaCl) by tissue culture technique and it was found that the wild type lettuce tolerated 10 and 75 mM from each substance respectively. Genes required in this study were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique using specific forward and reverse primers, and these genes were BADH, prrn promoter and many other regulatory genes. Some of these genes were isolated from their hosts and some were obtained from previous work available at Daniell laboratory. All these genes beside many techniques for ligation, extension, sequencing, orientation confirmation were used to construct the cassette vector pLS-BADH-LS which carries the gene of interest. Homoplasmic transgenic plants exhibiting high levels of salt tolerance were regenerated from bombarded cell cultures via somatic embryogenesis. Transgenic lettuce plants expressing BADH grew in the presence of high concentrations of NaCl (up to 150 mM), the highest level of salt tolerance reported so far among genetically modified lettuce, and the tolerance to betaine aldehyde was 30 mM.

تعد الملوحة التي تقلل الانتشار الجغرافي الجيد للنبات وتؤثر بشكل مباشر في الانتاج الكمي والنوعي للمحاصيل. تناولت هذه الدراسة التعبير الجيني لجين BADH في نبات الخس للحصول على نبات متحمل للملوحة العالية باستخدام طريقة مسدس الجينات من خلال تقنية الهندسة الوراثية للبلاستيدات الخضراء لنبات الخس. في البداية تم دراسة تحمل الزرع النسيجي للنبات لملح كلوريد الصوديوم ومادة البيتايين الديهايد NaCl, Betaine aldehyde ووجد ان النبات يتحمل 75mMو 10mM من كلا المادتين وبالتتابع. عزلت الجينات المطلوبة لهذا العمل باستخدام تقنية تفاعل استطالة السلسلة PCR لجين BADH والمعزول من نبات السبانغ المعروف بمقاومته لتراكيز ملحية عالية و Prrn وهو حفاز معروف لاستنساخ الجين وعدد من الجينات الاخرى. استخدمت تقنية تفاعل استطالة السلسلة بجانب عدد من التقنيات الاخرى مثل عملية اللحم وتحديد التتابعات الوراثية وتحديد اتجاه الجينات لصنع الناقل الوراثي المحتوي على الجين المطلوب pLs BADH Ls. عبرت النباتات المتحولة وراثيا والمتماثلة في الحصول على الجينات عن تحمل عالي لملح كلوريد الصوديوم بلغ 150mM اي ضعف تحمل النبات الاصلي وهو اعلى نسبة تحول مسجل لنبات خس مهندس وراثيا كما بلغ التحمل لمادة البيتايين الديهايد 30mM.

Abstract

Bacteria Pseudomonas aurginosa, E coli and Stapthylococcus aureus were exposure to different doses of ultraviolet radiation and survival curves drawn for each type, the results show that the bacteria Pseudomonas aurginosa more resistant by UV radiation than Ecoli and Stapthylococcus aureus bacteria. The bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa was irradiated with different doses of U.V light via wave length( 254 nm ) for different periods ( 50 , 100 , 150 , and 200 sec ) .It appear that part of irradiated bacterial culture was exposed to sun light and the other part was kept in the dark . The survivors of the cells exposed to the sun light was more than the dark and this ensure possessing the bacterium photoreactivating repair system investigate the excision repair system, the minimal inhibitory concentration ( MIC) of caffeine against bacteria was studied by exposing the bacterium to different concentrations of caffeine (10 , 15 , 20 and 25 mg/ml ) and the MIC was 20 mg/ml , Furthermore the bacterium was exposed to different times of U.V. light in the presence of caffeine and the studying ensure that the survivors of the cells in the medium with caffeine was less than the medium with absence of caffeine and this leads to possess the bacterium excision repair system. To detect the recombination repair system , the bacterium was exposed to the concentrations( 0.1 ,0.2 , 0.3 , 0.4 μg / ml) of acrivlavine and the MIC was 0.3 μg / ml , then the bacterium was exposed to different times of U.V. light in the presence of acrivlavine . The survivors of the cells in the medium with acrivlavine was less compared with the absence of acrivlavine. It would seem that possessing bacterium recombination repair system . sensitivity test of the bacterium against antibiotics was established and the results appeare that it was to the antibiotics Chloramphenicol, Carpencillin, Trimethoprim, Rifampicin The diameters of inhibition were (16,20,17,18) mm respectively and resistant to the antibiotics Amoxicillin, Ampicillin, Clindomycin, Cloxacillin , Nalidixic acid , Cephaloxin , Tetracyclin and Tobromycin. To study SOS repair system the bacterium was mutated with direct mutagens represented with nitrous acid and indirect mutagens represented with U.V. light to isolate Rifampicin and Chloramphenicol mutants. It is quite likely that the sensitivity of bacterium for mutagenesis then possessing SOS repair system.

عرضت بكتيريا Pseudomonas aurginosa, E coli and Stapthylococcus aureus الى جرعات مختلفة من الاشعة فوق البنفسجية ورسم منحني البقاء لكل منهما عند مقارنة النتائج المتحصلة ومن خلال منحني البقاء لوحظ ان البكتيريا قيد الدراسة كانت اكثر مقاومة للأشعة الفوق بنفسجية، وتمت دراسة نظام الاصلاح الضوئي للبكتيريا Pseudomonas aurginosa, بتعريض البكتيريا الى U.V Light بطول موجي nm 254 ولفترات مختلفة حفظ جزء من الخلايا المعرضة للإشعاع في الضوء اما القسم الاخر فحفظ في الظلام لوحظ ان نسبة بقاء الحلايا المعرضة لضوء الشمس اكثر من الخلايا التي حفظت في الظلام مما يدل على امتلاك البكتيريا نظام الاصلاح الضوئي. واستخدمت مادة caffeine لدراسة نظام excision حيث استخدمت تراكيز مختلفة لتحديد MIC حيث وجد ان التركيز المثبط الادنى كان 20mg/ml بعدها عرضت الخلايا البكتيرية الى الاشعة فوق البنفسجية بوجود وغياب مادة caffeine ولوحظ ان اعداد البكتيريا المعرضة للأشعة بوجود المادة اقل من الخلايا بغياب مادة caffeine وهذا يؤكد وجود نظامExcision repair system , ولتحديد وجود نظام Recombination repair system استخدمت مادة Acrivalvine وكان التركيز المثبط الادنى MIC هو 0.3 μg/ml واتبعت خطوات مادة Caffeine لتحديد وجود النظام وتم التصول الى وجود هذا النظام في البكتيريا ، واختبرت حساسية البكتيريا تجاه مجموعة من المضادات الحيوية ثم استخدمت ماة حامض النتروز ( مطفر مباشر) والأشعة فوق البنفسجية (مطفر غير مباشر) لإحداث طفرات تكون مقاومة للمضادات الحساسة لها وتم عزل خلايا بكتيرية كانت حساسة ثم تحولت بفعل المطفرات الى مقاومة والمضادات هي (Chloramphenical ,Rifampcin ) مما يدل على امتلاك البكتيريا لنظام الاصلاح SOS .

Abstract

Helicobacter pylori infection is common in the developing countries. The cagA gene is a marker of pathogenicity island (PAI) in H. pylori. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of cagA among gastroduodenal disease (peptic ulcer and non-ulcer dyspepsia) in patients of Ramadi-city. A total of 81 gastric biopsy samples, gastric ulcer 10 (12.30% ) , duodenal ulcer 18 (22.20% ) and non-ulcer dyspepsia 53 (65.40% ) by endoscopic examination . cagA gene of H. pylori was assessed using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The cagA gene was detected by PCR technique in 3 from 10 biopsy specimens culture positive, urease test was showed 7(8.64%) patients, 2(2.5%) patients and 48(59.26%)patients after (2 hr, 6hr and 20 hr) respectively, ELISA positive result was showed 12(14.8%) patients. Urease test is easy test , inexpensive and can be use in endoscopy unit, but non-specific, culture is gold stander for detection of H.pylori, ELISA technique use for detection of anti-H.pylori IgG , ELISA technique widly used for epidemiology studies. PCR assay used for detection of cagA gene. Using PCR to detect cagA gene from culture colony. The potential advantages of PCR include high specificity, quick results and the ability to type bacteria without the requirement for special transport conditions.

عدوى البكتريا الحلزونية هي مرض شائع في البلدان النامية. الcag جين هو مؤشر على PAI في البكتريا الحلزونية. الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تحديد انتشار الـcag ضمن مرضى القناة الهضمية (قرحة القناة الهضمية و عسر الهضم غير القرحي) في مرضى مدينة الرمادي. من مجموع 81 نموذج خزعة معدية, 10 لديهم قرحة معدية, 18 قرحة الاثني عشري و53 عسر هضم باستخدام فحص الناظور. Cag جين البتكريا الحلزونية يحدد باستخدام تفاعل البلمرة المتسلسل (PCR ). ويتم الكشف عنه باستخدام PCR في 3 من 10 نماذج خزعية موجبة الزرع, وفي اختبار اليوريز شوهد 7 مرضى, 2 مريض و48 مريض بعد (2 ساعة, 6 ساعة و20 ساعة ) بالتعاقب. نتائج الفحص السيرولوجي الموجبة هي 12 مريض. اختبار اليوريز هو فحص سهل, رخيص الثمن وبالامكان اجراءه داخل وحدة الناظور, لكنه فحص غير نوعي. الزرع هو الفحص الذهبي للكشف عن البكتريا الحلزونية. الفحص السيرولوجي يستخدم للكشف عن الاجسام المضادة للبكتريا IgG, الفحص السيرولوجي استخدامه واسع في الدراسات الوبائية. فحص PCR يستخدم للكشف عن cagA جين من المستعمرات الزرعية, وهو ذات فرص ممكنة وقوية ويكمن نوعية عالية, نتائج سريعة وقدرة الكشف عن اي نوع بكتيري بدون الحاجة اوضاع ونواقل خاصة.

Abstract

In the present work, compound 3-arylidene amino-5-methyl-1,2,4-triazole (IIIa-c), required as starting material obtained in one-pot reaction by condensing 5-methyl-3-amino-1,2,4-triazole with different aromatic aldehydes. The required 5-methyl-3-amino-1,2,4-triazole was prepared from treatment of acetyl urea (I) with hydrazine hydrate, the compounds (IIIa-c) were converted to the corresponding [3-[5-methyl-1,2,4-triazol-2-yl]-2-arylthiazolidine-4-one (Va1-a3) and imidazoleine-4-one (Vb1-b3) by reacted it with thioglycolic acid and Glycine in absolute ethanol. The compounds (IIa-c) were converted also to 2-methyl-5-arylamino-5,6,-dihydroimidozo[2,1-b]-1,2,4-triazole (VIIIa-VIIIc) reacted with TCA then with aniline derivatives. The linear pathway strategy of all these synthesized compounds can be summarized in scheme (1).

Abstract

The current study was designed to examine the effect of an aqueous extract of Cymbopogon citratus leaves on the level of total serum cholesterol for normal and hypercholesterolemic rabbits. The results showed that the treatment of rabbits with an aqueous extract of Cymbopogon citratus leaves in concentration of 100 mg / ml and therapeutic dose of 5 ml/ kg / day via oral administration and for ten days, reduced significantly (P ‹ 0.05) the total serum cholesterol ( TC) level in induced hypercholesterolemic rabbits ( group D ) from (501.67±28.81) mg/100ml to ( 441.59±29.78 ) mg/100ml ,While no significant reduction was observed in the level of total serum cholesterol for treated healthy( normal ) rabbits ( group B ) were about from ( 127. 33 ± 9.44 ) mg/100ml befor treated to(130.09±0.23 ) mg/100ml after treated with the aqueous extract for ten days.

صممت الدراسة الحالية لأختبار تأثير المستخلص المائي لاوراق نبات حشيشة الليمون Cymbopogon citratus في خفض مستويات الكوليسترول الكلي في الارانب السليمة والارانب التي أحدث بها مرض فرط الكوليسترول تجريبيا حيث اظهرت نتائج البحث ان معاملة الارانب بالمستخلص المائي لاوراق نبات حشيشة الليمون Cymbopogon citratus بتركيز 100ملغم/مل وبجرعة تجريبية 5 مل/كغم/يوم عن طريق التجريع الفموي لمدة عشرة ايام قد خفض معنويا0.05) >P ) من مستوى الكوليسترول الكلي ( TC) في الارانب التي أحدث بها مرض فرط الدهون تجريبيا ( مجموعة D ) حيث انخفضت مستويات الكوليسترول الكلي فيها من (501.67 ±28.81) ملغم / 100مل قبل المعالجة الى ( 441.59±29.78 ) ملغم / 100مل بعد المعالجة ولم يؤثر معنويا على مستوى الكوليسترول الكلي في الارانب السليمة والمعالجة بالمستخلص المائي لاوراق نبات حشيشة الليمون ( مجموعة B ) حيث سجلت مستويات الكوليسترول الكلي فيها من ( 127. 33± 9.44) ملغم / 100مل قبل المعالجة الى (130.09±0.23 ) ملغم / 100مل بعد المعالجة بالمستخلص المائي و لمدة عشرة ايام .

Abstract

The most serious problems encountered in polystyrene (PS) processing is due to a poisoning and pollution of environment because of the PS structure containing aromatic ring. This study suggests a clean and ecofriendly of (PS) degradation. To the PS film prepared [8-hydroxyquinoline nickel(II) complex added as inducing agent for degradation (PS) film exposed to the microwave radiation. A hand molding casting has been used for preparing specimens of the (PS) in percentages (0.0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4%) of the complex. The Degradation were carried out using commercial microwave oven at constant power of 400 W for all experiments. Specimens were exposed to microwave radiation with multiple time (0.0, 15, 30, 60 minute), A degradation were followed via of the decrease in molecular weights averages (Mw-, Mn-) and the increase of absorbancy of the carbonyl index ICO and hydroxyl index IOH at the total time of 60 minutes with microwave radiation.

بسبب المشاكل البيئية المتواصلة والناتجة من طرح الكميات الكبيرة من متعدد ستايرين كفضلات الى البيئة ولاحتوئه على الحلقة الأرماتية في تركيبه فإنه يشكل عامل تلوث وسمية للبيئة .هذه الدراسة تقترح طريقة نظيفة للتخلص من الفضلات البلاستيكية بطريقة التفكك للبولي ستايرين بأستخدام أشعة المايكروييف كمصدر للطاقة . ولكون الطرق التقليدية الحالية للتخلص من هذه الفضلات تتم بالحرق او الطمر وهي ملوثة للبيئة أيضا. تم في هذا العمل تحضير نماذج الدراسة على شكل أفلام منPS المضاف اليها المعقد الأنتقالي(Ni-HQ) كمادة محفزة للتفكك وبنسب وزنية0.4 , 0.2 ,0.1 ,0.05, 0.025 ,0.0) )% تحت تأثير أشعة المايكروويف بطاقة مقدارها400W ولفترات زمنية مختلفة (60, 30, 15, 0.0 دقيقة) . كطريقة كيميائية للتفكك , ولتجنب عمليات الحرق الملوثة للبيئة. تم متابعة نتائج التفكك للنماذج تحت الدراسة , من خلال نقصان معدل الوزن الجزيئي (Mw-, Mn-) ومعدل التوزيع له, وكذلك الزيادة الحاصلة في معاملات التفكك الى ICO, IOH, كنواتج عرضية من التفكك . بأستخدام مطيافية U.V, FT-IR و بزمن مقداره 60 دقيقة تحت أشعة المايكروويف.

Abstract

In this study the Ku ــband microwave with a frequencies of (12- 18) GHz propagation in dielectric materials InGaAsP (refractive index n1=3.39) with two different claddings, air(n2=1) and polyacrylate (n2=1.5), was investigated. Using the cladding polyacrylate gives better results. The graphical and numerical results of the behavior of electromagnetic wave propagation along Z - direction in dielectric slab waveguide in the two cases of cladding were investigated with the aid of MATLAB program. The graphical and numerical results coincide. The modes of propagation have been analyzed and all parameters have been given. The values of different parameters as cutoff wave number, cutoff frequency, cutoff thickness, propagation constant, and transmission of electromagnetic wave have been calculated. The transmission of the microwave depends on the slab thickness and the frequencies applied and it has been found to varied from 75% to 100%. The reflection amplitude inside the slab is not effected when the angle of the incident wave is less than the critical angle, while it increased rapidly as the angle increased higher than the critical angle.

في هذه الدراسة حزمة Ku- المايكرويه ذات الترددات (12-18) GHz والمنتشره في المادة العازلة InGaAsP (معامل الانكسار n1=3.39) مع طبقتين مختلفه, الهواء(n2=1) والبولي اكريليت(n2=1.5) تم تحليلها. استخدام الطبقة البولي اكريليت اعطت نتائج افضل. النتائج البيانية والحسابية لسلوك انتقال الموجه الكهرومغناطيسية على طول اتجاه محور Z-في دليل الموجه اللوحي العازل في كلا الحالتين من الطبقات تم البحث فيها من خلال برنامج MATLAB. النتائج البيانية والحسابية كانت متطابقة. انماط الانتشار تم تحليلها وتم اعطاء قيم جميع المعلمات. قيم المعاملات المختلفه مثل حد العدد الموجي وحد التردد وحد السمك وثوابت الانتشار ونصف قطر الدائره لكل نمط ونفاذية الموجات الكهرومغناطيسية تم حسابها. نفاذية الموجات المايكرويه تعتمد على سمك الشريحه وعلى تردد الموجه الساقطه وقد وجد بأنه يتغير بين 75% الى 100%. سعة الانعكاس في داخل الشريحه وجد بأنها لاتتأثر عندما تكون زاوية السقوط اقل من الزاوية الحرجة ولكنها تزداد بسرعة عندما تكون زاوية السقوط اكبر من الزاوية الحرجة.

Abstract

Nanostructures CdS films were prepared by chemical bath deposition technique on glass substrates, where the cadmium nitrate salt was used as a source of cadmium ions and thiourea (SC(NH2)2) as a source of sulphide ions(S-2). The deposition were carried out at different pH values. Structure of these films was characterized by X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscope (AFM). CdS films deposited have cubic(zinc blende) structure and the grain size of nanoclusters decreases with increasing pH value in solution. The optical properties study by transmission spectra and the films have highly transmittance in visible region of spectrum and reach to more than 86%. The CdS films have band gap increase from 2.42 to 2.58 eV with increasing pH value in solution.

تم ترسيب تراكيب نانوية (Nanostructure) من أغشية CdS على أرضيات زجاجية بتقنية ترسيب بالحمام الكيميائي، حيث استخدام ملح نترات الكادميوم كمصدر لايونات الكادميوم الموجبة والثيوريا كمصدر الايونات الكبريت.وأجريت عملية الترسيب عند قيم مختلفة للدالة الحامضية(pH).الخصائص التركيبية لهذه الأغشية شخصت بواسطة حيود الأشعة السينية(XRD) ومجهر القوة الذري(AFM)، حيث بينت إن أغشية CdS المرسبة تمتلك تركيب مكعب(مشبك الخارصين) ومعدل الحجم الحبيبي للعناقيد النانوية يقل مع زيادة قيمة الدالة الحامضية (pH) في المحلول. الخصائص البصرية درست باستخدام أطياف النفاذيه ، حيث بينت إن أغشية CdS لها نفاذيه عالية في المدى المرئي من الطيف وتصل إلى أكثر من 86 %. أغشية CdS تمتلك فجوة طاقة تزداد من 2.42 eVإلى2.58 eV مع زيادة قيمة الدالة الحامضية (pH) في المحلول.

Abstract

Cadmium Sulphide (CdS) thin films were grown on glass substrates by the vacuum evaporation technique. The effect of thermal annealing on the structural and optical properties of the as deposited samples was analyzed. Structure of these films was characterized by X-ray diffraction. CdS films deposited have polycrystalline structure cubic(zinc blende) and hexagonal (demand). The grain size increases with increasing annealing temperature. The optical properties of CdS films have highly transmittance in visible region of spectrum and reach to more than 84% . Band gap decreases from 2.55 to 2.33 eV with the increasing annealing temperature from 473K to 623 K.

أغشية رقيقة من مادة كبريتيد الكادميوم (CdS) رسبت على أرضيات زجاجية بطريقة التبخير الفراغي.وتم دراسة تأثير المعاملة الحرارية على الخصائص البصرية والتركيبية. الخواص التركيبة لهذه الأغشية شخصت باستخدام تقنية حيود الأشعة السينية(XRD) حيت بينت ان غشاء CdS يمتلك تركيبا" بلوريا" مكعبا" (خارصين) وسداسيا"(ماس) ومعدل الحجم الحبيبي يزداد مع زيادة درجة حرارة التلدين. الخصائص البصرية درست باستخدام طيف النفاذية،حيث وجد إن غشاء CdS المرسب يمتلك نفاذية عالية في المنطقة المرئية من الطيف وتصل إلى أكثر من 84% مع فجوة طاقة عريضة تقل من 2.55eV الى2.33eV مع زيادة درجة حرارة المعاملة الحرارية.

Abstract

In this work, The physical properties were studies for (supernova 2010jl)-which discovered on 2010 Nov. 3-depending on (Oort Model), optical spectrum curve and by applying special mathematical equations. The physical properties represented by explosion energy, initial velocity of ejecta, mass of ejecta, mass of 56Ni, distance from the earth, radius of ejecta, the momentum, expansion velocity and the age. Also, temperature of black body of SN2010jl during photospheric phase were calculated depending on data taken from optical spectrum curve and by applying special mathematical equation. The curve between temperature of black body and time in days were plotted, rang of temperature between (7300°k–9700°k) noticed.

في هذا البحث تم دراسة بعض الخواص الفيزيائية للمستعرة العظمى (SN2010jl) والمكتشفة بتاريخ (2010Nov.3) بالاعتماد على النموذج النظري المسمى (أورت موديل) والمنحني البصري ومعادلات رياضية خاصة. تمثلت الخواص بكل من طاقة الانفجار، السرعة الابتدائية للمقذ وفة، كتلة المقذوفة، كتلة النظير الاشعاعي (56Ni)، البعد عن الارض، نصف قطر المقذوفة، الزخم، سرعة التمدد اضافة الى العمر. كذلك تم حساب حرارة الجسم الاسود للمستعرة (SN2010jl) بالاعتماد على بيانات مستنتجة من المنحني الضوئي البصري وبتطبيق معادلة رياضة خاصة. بعدها تم رسم علاقة بيانية مابين حرارة الجسم الاسود والزمن بالايام وجد ان قيم الحرارة تقع في المدى مابين (°K 9700 -7300 °K).

Abstract

Polycrystalline samples of high temperature superconductivity of the type 2223, Bi2-xTlxSr2-yBayCa2Cu3O10+ have been prepared by using solid state reaction process. The influence of the substitution of Tl for Bi and Ba for Sr have been studed with different rates (x=0.1-0.4) and (y= 0.1-0.4) at variable sintering temperature, sinterinr time and annealing at 850ºC for 24 h, at average heating 2ºC/min. The best Tc value obtained for the compound is x=0.3,y=0.3. The x-ray data of all superconductor samples showed a tetragonal structure with a high ratio of Bi-2223 superconducting phase and the resistivity measurements were done using the electrical resistively instruments. The substitution of Tl by Bi and Ba by Sr increases the grain size of the superconductingphase and the density of the pellets. Also give a best value of Tc =133 K respectively.

حضرت عينات متعدد التبلور فائقة التوصيل عند درجات الحرارة العالية من نوع (2223)Bi2-xTlxSr2-yBayCa2Cu3O10+ باستخدام طريقة التفاعل الحالة الصلبة وتم دراسة تأثير التعويض Tl في Bi وBa في Sr بنسب مختلفة (x= 0.1-0.4), (y=0.1-0.4) عند درجات تلبيد مختلفة, زمن مختلف وتلدين عند 850 ºC لمدة 24 h بمعدل تسخين 2ºc/min. افضل قيمة Tc تم الحصول عليها للمركب عند x=0.3, y=0.3. بينت قيم فحص اشعة اكس للعينات ان التركيب البلوري هو من النوع الرباعي القائم, والعينات تحتوي على نسبة عالية من الطور Bi-2223 وكذلك ادى تعويض Tl بـ Bi وBa بـSr الى زيادة حجم الحبيبات طور التوصيل الفائق وكثافة العينات وكذلك تم الحصول على افضل Tc هي 133 K.

The aim of this paper is to design fast feed forward neural network to present a method to solve second order boundary value problem for ordinary differential equations. Abstract

The aim of this paper is to apply the boosting technique in different estimation methods in MLR model when multicollinearity present. We develop algorithms for these regression estimators. Boosting needs to be stopped after a suitable number of iterations to avoid over fitting. The computationally efficient AICC criterion is used. We illustrate the performance of these estimators using Hoerl and Kennard data, the prostate cancer (Tibshirani) data, the prostate cancer data with added multicollinearity, and the simulated data.

ان الهدف من هذا البحث هو تطبيق طريقة او اسلوب الدعم لمختلف طرق التقدير في نموذج الانحدار الخطي المتعدد عند وجود مشكلة التداخل الخطي في النموذج. وقد اقترحنا وطورنا خوارزمية لهذه الطرق مع توضيح لاداء كل طريقة وقارنا بينهم باستخدام اسلوب المحاكاة وكذلك بعض البيانات العددية مثل بيانات (Hoerl and Kennard) و بيانات سرطان البروستات (Tibshirani). أسلوب الدعم يحتاج الى التوقف لذلك استخدمنا معيار AICC. بعد المقارنة بين هذه الطرق باستخدام معيار مجموع مربعات الخطأ ( (SMSS، لوحظ ان طرق التقدير قيد الدراسة مع أسلوب الدعم لها أفضلية واستخداما في العمل من نفس الطرق بدون أسلوب الدعم.
