About the Journal

Description

Dhi Qar University Journal of Humanities is a peer-reviewed academic journal published electronically by Dhi Qar University since 2021. The journal aims to publish original and high-quality research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of humanities. The journal covers a wide range of humanities disciplines, including Geography, History, Sociology, Media Studies, Educational Sciences, and Psychology. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and scholarly quality. The journal is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December providing a regular and reliable platform for researchers and scholars.

Journal Scope

The journal specializes in publishing original research papers and scholarly studies in the field of human sciences, including but not limited to the following disciplines: Language and Linguistics Literature and Literary Criticism History Geography Sociology Psychology Philosophy Media and Communication Studies Related Educational and Humanistic Studies The journal also welcomes review articles, analytical studies, and scholarly translations relevant to its scope, in accordance with the journal’s publication guidelines.

Open Access Policy

Thi Qar Journal of Human Science (JEDH) is an open access journal, therefore there are no fees required for downloading any publication from the journal website by authors, readers, and institution. The journal applies the license of CC BY (a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International  license). This license allows authors  to keep ownership of the copyright of their papers. But this license permits any user to download , print out, extract, reuse, archive, and distribute the article, so long as appropriate credit is given to the authors and the source of the work. The license ensures that the article will be available as widely as possible and that the article can be included in any scientific archive. The journal adopted an open access policy on June 19, 2018, after archiving the first issue of the magazine on the Iraqi Scientific Journals website, which is affiliated with the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
