Summary
This study addresses the issue of the creation of the Qur’an by examining and analyzing the relevant section in the marginal commentary (ḥāshiyah) of ʿIṣām al-Dīn al-Isfarāyinī on al-Taftāzānī’s Sharḥ al-ʿAqāʾid al-Nasafiyyah. The aim of the research is to highlight the depth of theological discourse employed by Imam ʿIṣām al-Dīn in tackling this matter, presenting his methodology in refuting opposing views and affirming the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah—that the speech of Allah, Exalted is He, is an eternal attribute inherent to His essence and is not created. The study adopts a critical investigative approach by collecting manuscript copies, comparing them, and authenticating the text, alongside an analytical method to explain theological statements and terminologies. The significance of this research lies in reviving a valuable segment of theological heritage and providing a reliable scholarly edition, thereby enriching the doctrinal library and facilitating researchers’ access to this academic material.

تتناول هذه الدراسة مسألة خلق القرآن من خلال تحقيق ودراسة الجزء الخاص بها في كتاب حاشية عصام الدين الإسفراييني على شرح العقائد النسفية للإمام التفتازاني. تهدف الدراسة إلى إبراز عمق المعالجة الكلامية للإمام عصام الدين لهذه المسألة، وتقديم منهجه في الرد على المخالفين وتأييد مذهب أهل السنة والجماعة بأن كلام الله تعالى صفة قديمة قائمة بذاته، وهو غير مخلوق. يعتمد البحث على المنهج التحقيقي النقدي من خلال جمع النسخ الخطية، والمقارنة بينها، وتوثيق النص، مع استخدام المنهج التحليلي لشرح الأقوال والمصطلحات الكلامية. وتكمن أهمية هذه الدراسة في إحياء جزء نفيس من التراث الكلامي، وتقديم تحقيق علمي موثوق، مما يسهم في إثراء المكتبة العقائدية وتسهيل وصول الباحثين إلى هذه المادة العلمية
