Abstract
Under the shadow of his father, the sheikh of Islam in the Ottoman Empire, David Al-Haidari lived a comfortable life that overcame the difficulties of life and provided him with a good education and great influence, which helped him a lot in his administrative and political career later. His work on the era of the Ottoman Empire also helped him gain extensive administrative and legal experience, which enabled him to prove his worth upon his return to Iraq after the establishment of the Iraqi state, as he held high positions, especially in the Royal Court, and was selected among several committees formed by the Iraqi government, either as a member or as its chairman, which paved the way for him to run for the elections of the Iraqi Constituent Council, and win membership of the council for the Erbil brigade, and he had a great role and clear positions on the treaty and important political issues that faced the young Iraqi state, especially in addition to his support for the right of different Iraqi communities to establish schools to teach their children in their own language, al-Haidari and his fellow Kurdish deputies proved that they were supportive of British influence, through them a treaty was passed ١٩٢٢ um.

Abstract
عاش داوود الحيدري في ظل والده، شيخ الاسلام في الدولة العثمانية، حياة رغيدة ذللت له مصاعب الحياة ووفرت له تعليم جيد ونفوذ كبير، ساعده كثيراً في مسيرته الإدارية والسياسية فيما بعد, كما ساعده عمله على عهد الدولة العثمانية في اكتساب خبرات إدارية وقانونية واسعة، مكنته من اثبات جدارته عند عودته الى العراق بعد تأسيس الدولة العراقية، اذ تقلد مناصب رفيعة وخاصة في البلاط الملكي، واختير ضمن لجان عدة شكلتها الحكومة العراقية، أما عضواً كان فيها او رئيساً لها، مما مهد له الطريق الى الترشيح لانتخابات المجلس التأسيسي العراقي، والفوز بعضوية المجلس عن لواء أربيل، وكان له دوره الكبير ومواقفه الواضحة من المعاهدة والقضايا السياسية المهمة التي واجهت الدولة العراقية الفتية، وخصوصاً ما يمس القضايا الكردية، مثل قضية الموصل، واعتداء الليفي على بعض المواطنين في كركوك، إضافة إلى مساندته لحق الطوائف العراقية المختلفة في تأسيس مدارس لتعليم ابنائها بلغتها الخاصة، وأثبت الحيدري ورفاقه من النواب الكرد انهم كانوا داعمين للنفوذ البريطاني، فمن خلالهم تم تمرير معاهدة ١٩٢٢م.
