Abstract
The results of the study demonstrate that the governorate includes 1,211 industrial establishments, employing a total of 15,313 workers. These employees receive annual wages amounting to 120,735 million, while the aggregate value added reaches 123,718 million. In spatial terms, the district of Samarra occupies the first position with respect to the number of industrial recorded in Amirli, representing 2.4%. However, regarding the indicators of establishments, accounting for 19.7% of the total. By contrast, the lowest share is employment, annual wages, and value added, the district of Baiji emerges as the leading contributor, representing 51.2%, 68.2%, and 81%, respectively, of the three indicators. In relation to the industrial localization coefficient, the highest degree of concentration is found in Baiji, where it reaches 45.2%, followed by Samarra with a localization rate of 17.4%. In contrast, Amirli records the lowest level of industrial localization, accounting for only 1.2% of the overall industrial localization significance within the governorate.With regard to the impact of industrial localization on spatial development, the analysis based on economic, social, and general efficiency indicators reveals that Baiji District ranks first, achieving 66.9%, 59.9%, and 64%, respectively, of the total levels of these three efficiency measures. It is subsequently followed by the districts of Samarra, Tuz Khurmatu, Tikrit, and Balad, whereas the lowest efficiency level is observed in the district of Al-Duluiyah.Keywords: )Industrial Localization, Spatial Development, Saladin Governorate
