Abstract
This study examines Surah Yusuf as presented in a commentary by one of the early scholars—Imam al-Hufi, Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Sa’id, Abu al-Hasan al-Hufi (d. 430 AH; may Allah have mercy on him)—who made a significant contribution by introducing a new style of exegesis that avoided the inclusion of all weak narrations and erroneous opinions commonly found in traditional commentaries. He contributed to Islamic scholarship by presenting a well-organized exegesis containing much useful knowledge through an objective study of the verses. Among these subjects are the reasons for revelation, abrogating and abrogated verses, Meccan and Medinan revelations, recitations, linguistics, rhetoric, grammatical inflections, pauses, and completion, all presented in" an and orderly manner…"

تناول البحث هنا دراسة سورة يوسف من كتاب تفسيري لأحد العلماء المتقدمين-الإمام الحوفي- علي بن إبراهيم بن سعيد، أبو الحسن الحوفي ت430ه(رحمه الله) الذي كان له الأثر الكبير في إضافة نوع جديد من أنواع التفسير بصيغة بعيدة عن حشو جميع الروايات الضعيفة والآراء غير الصائبة في التفسير , وقدم للمكتبة الإسلامية تفسيراً مرتباً حوى كثير من العلوم النافعة بدراسة موضوعية للآيات ومن هذه العلوم أسباب النزول والناسخ والمنسوخ والمكي والمدني والقراءات وعلوم اللغة والبلاغة والتصاريف والوقف والتمام وغيرها بشكل مرتب ومنظم , لينتهي بعد كل مجموعة من الآيات برأيه التفسيري الخالي من التعقيد بقوله "وتضمنت الآيات".
