Histological study of pars tuberalis of the pituitary gland of rats in Iraq

Abstract

This study was carried out on the ten pituitary glands of rats, under light microscope; ten samples were collected from animal house in (college Veterinary. Medicine of Kerbala University). This work involves histological studies. The histological results revealed that the pars tuberalis contained four types of cells, not similar to any other cell types of the pars distalis. This finding and the location of the pars tuberalis at the gate of pars distalis which control the blood circulation give to the pars tuberalis a special functional importance.

اجريت هذه الدراسة النسيجية على عشرة غدد لنخامية الجرذان المختبرية في البيت الحيواني (كلية الطب البيطري جامعة كربلاء) اجريت الدراسة تحت المجهر الضوئي لدراسة الفص الحدبي للغدة النخامية. أظهرت الدراسة إن للفص ألحدبي أهمية خاصة بسبب احتواءه على أربعة أنواع من الخلايا التي لاتشبه أي نوع من أنواع خلايا الفص الأمامي. علاوة على وقوع هذا الفص عند مدخل الفص الأمامي والذي يسيطر على مجرى الدم الذاهب إليه وكذلك وجد لاول مرة نوع من الخلايا ذات شكل غير منتظم وساتيوبلازم يحتوي على حبيبات افرازية دقيقة

Abstract

The aim of this paper to introduce the concept of α̂g-kernel also we introduced the concept of the weakly ultra α̂g-separation of two sets in a topological space using α̂g-open sets. The α̂g-closure is defined in terms of this weakly ultra α̂g-separation. We also investigate some properties of weak separation axioms like α̂g-Ri-spaces, i = 0,1 and α̂g-Ti-spaces, i = 0,1,2.

Abstract

The ligand 1-Phenyl-3-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-thiourea (L) has been prepared from reaction of 2-(aminomethyl) pyridin with phenyl thiocyanate (1:1). The ligand(L) has been characterized by elemental analysis (C.H,N) ,'H,13C-NMR, IR and electronic spectra. The complexes of bivalent (Co,Ni,Cu,Cd and Hg) ions have been synthesized and characterized by IR, electronic spectra, molar conductivity, atomic absorption and molar ratio.The analytical studies for the complexes showed octahedral geometries.The study of biological activity of the ligand (L) and its complexes (Co,Ni,Cu,Cd,Hg) in two deferent concentration (1and5) mg/ml showed various activity toward staphylococcus aureus and E.coli

حضر الليكاند (L) 1-فنيل-3- بردين -2- يل مثيل-ثايويوريا من تفاعل 2 - أمينو مثيل بردين مع فنيل ايزوثايوسيانيت وبنسبة 1:1 وشخص الليكاند بواسطة التحليل الدقيق للعناصر (C,H,N), الأشعة تحت الحمراء ، الأشعة فوق البنفسجية –المرئية وطيف الرنين النووي المغناطيسي كما حضرت وشخصت معقدات أملاح بعض ايونات العناصر الثنائية التكافؤ (Co,Ni,Cu,Cd and Hg). استخدمت تقنية الأشعة تحت الحمراء ، الأشعه فوق البنفسجية-المرئية , التوصيلية الكهربائية و الامتصاصية الذرية وأستنتج من التحاليل ان المعقدات لها شكل ثماني السطوح

A Model for Removing Sediments from Open Channels

Abstract

The problems caused by suspended sediment overloading in open channels are of great importance to the hydraulic engineers. One of the important problems caused by the sediment overloading during flood seasons is the change in bed level and corresponding water level of rivers due to its deposition on the river bed. At the upstream reaches, the bed slope is high, velocity is high and hence the rivers carry large amount of sediment during flood seasons.
In this paper, eighty one experiments on the laboratory open-channel of cross-section dimensions (20*50) cm and (10) m long. The experiments include using sharp crested weir in the last third part of the channel. Three heights of weir are used; namely half width of channel (B), equal the width, and 1.5 times the width of channel . Also three bed slopes of the channel are used; namely 0.015, 0.0225, and 0.03). In all experiments, the values of discharge are limited between 100 and 300 l/min. The concentration of suspended sediment is measured upstream and downstream the weir through each experiment to calculate the sediment reduction ratio (SRR%)
The results of the laboratory experiments showed that the sediment reduction ratio increases with the increase of weir height and reaches about (63%) at channel bed slope of (0.015) and weir height 1.5B (where B is the width of channel). When the discharge is more than (100 l/min), the highest values of sediment reduction ratio are obtained for the three slopes used and at weir height (1.5B).

أن المشاكل التي تحدث في القنوات تلقى اهتماما كبيرا لدى المهنسين المختصين , ومن ابر ز هذه المشاكل , زيادة الحمل الرسوبي في فترات الفيضان الامر الذي يؤدي الى تغير منسوب قاع القناة والذي يسبب الى ارتفاع منسوب الماء فيها .اذ يكون الانحدار وسرعة جريان الماء في مقدم التيار عاليين الامر الذي يؤدي الى نقل كميات كلبرة من الرسوبيات خلال هذه الفترات.
تم في هذا البحث اجراء اجدى وثمانين تجربة على قناة مختبرية ذات مقطع أبعاده (20*50)سم وبطول (10)م . تضمنت التجارب استخدام سد غاطس حاد الحافة عند الثلث الاخير من القناة . كما تم استخدام ثلاثة ارتفاعات للسد الغاطس هي (نصف عرض القناة ,عرض القناة ,و 1.5 عرض القناة ) . واستخدمت ثلاثة قيم لانحدار القاع هي (0.015,0.0225 و0.03) , كما تم تحديد قيم التصريف بين (100- 300) لتر/ دقيقة لجميع التجارب . وتم قياس تركيز الرسوبيات العالقة عند .(SRR% مقدم ومؤخر السد الغاطس وخلال كل تجربة لحساب نسبة التقليل.
لقد بينت نتائج التجارب المختبرية أن نسبة تقليل نسبة الرسوبيات العالقة تزداد مع زيادة ارتفاع السد
الغاطس لتصل الى حوالي (63%) عندما يكون انحدار قاع القناة (0.015) وارتفاع السد الغاطس (1.5) مرة بقدر عرض القناة , وعند تصريف يزيد عن (100لتر/دقيقة) , أن أعلى قيمة لنسبة تقليل نسبة الرسوبيات سجلت عند الانحدارات الثلاثة المختارة في هذا البحث , وعند ارتفاع للسد الغاطس يعادل (1.5) مرة بقدر عرض القناة .

Abstract

In the present work ,steady two - dimensional laminar forced convection heat transfer with parallel flow on a horizontal tube has been analyzed numerically for a wide range of the Reynolds numbers of (Re.=.102, 103, 104, and 105) with Amplitude parameter (A) and vibrational angle in the range ( = and ). Two types of boundary conditions have been considered. The first, when the tube wall is heated with constant uniform temperatures, while the second when the wall is heated by applying a uniform heat flux. The results are presented in terms of isotherms and streamlines to show the behavior of the fluid flow and temperatures fields. In addition, some graphics are presented the relation between average Nusselt number and the various parameters.
This research demonstrated that the rate of heat transfer is increased due to increase of amplitude and vibration angle as well as Reynolds number increase. The results also show that the average Nusselt number is a strong function of Reynolds number, vibrational angle amplitude parameter and the boundary conditions. Two different correlations have been made to show the dependence of the average Nusselt number on the Reynolds numbers, vibrational angle and amplitude parameter.

في هذا البحث ، تم إجراء دراسة عددية لانتقال الحرارة بالحمل ألقسري الطباقي المستقر ثنائي البعد بجريان موازي لأنبوب أفقي ضمن مدى واسع لعدد رينولدزRe.= 102, 103, 104, 105) ) مع مقدار الإزاحة (A) ولمدى زاوية اهتزاز . لاجراء البحث تم اعتماد نوعان من الظروف الحدية. الأول عندما يكون جدار الأنبوب مسخن إلى درجات حرارة مختلفة ومنتظمة والثاني، عندما يكون الجدار مسخن بمصدر حراري . تم تمثيل نتائج الدراسة بدلالة خطوط درجات الحرارة الثابتة وخطوط الانسياب لبيان سلوك درجات الحرارة والجريان في الحيز. بالإضافة إلى رسومات بيانية أخرى تمثل علاقة معدل عدد نسلت مع المتغيرات المذكورة أعلاه . اوضحت نتائج البحث بان معدل انتقال الحرارة يزداد نتيجة لزيادة زاوية الاهتزاز ورقم رينولدز . كذلك بينت نتائج الدراسة بان معدل عدد نسلت هو دالة قوية لعدد رينولدز وزاوية الاهتزاز ومقدار الإزاحة(A) والظروف الحدية . ومن خلال النتائج تبين وجود علاقة قوية بين معدل عدد نسلت وعدد رينولدز.

Optimization of Photocatalytic Decolourization of Methyl Green Dye Using Commercial Zinc Oxide as catalyst

Abstract

This study describes the results for series of experiments on photocatalytic decolourization of methyl green dye from aqueous solution in the presence of commercial ZnO suspension. The photocatalytic decolourization has been studied as a function of initial dye concentration, best dose of ZnO, initial pH of aqueous solution, and temperature by regular intervals from experiments. The decolourization of methyl green dye process was found to follow pseudo-first order kinetics with the use of artificial UV (A) light sources.
The optimum dye and catalyst concentration was measured and found equal to be 50 ppm and 700 mg/ 200 mL-1 respectively. The best value of pH for the photocatalytic decolourization of methyl green dye in the presence of ZnO suspension is pH 5.4. The Photocatalytic decolourization reaction of dye was endothermic and found the rate of reaction increased with increasing temperature. Arrhenius plot obtains that the activation energy for this reaction is equal to 24. 914 kJ mol-1, this value is small that beyond to be associated with the transport of photoelectrons through the catalyst to the adsorbed oxygen on the surface

تصف هذه الدراسة النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها خلال سلسة من تجارب الازالة اللونية المحفزة ضوئياً للمحلول المائي لصبغة المثل الاخضر بوجود عالق من اوكسيد الخارصين ZnO التجاري. تم دراسة عملية الازالة اللونية المحفزة ضوئياً كدالة لـ تركيز الصبغة الابتدائي، و افضل جرعة من الـ ZnO ، والدالة الحامضية pH الابتدائية للمحلول، و درجة الحرارة عند تجارب ذات ازمنة متسلسلة.
حسب كل من تركيز الصبغة والعامل المساعد، وكانت تساوي 50 جزء من المليون و 700 ملغم \ مللتر على التوالي. كما وجدت افضل قيمة للدالة الحامضية لعملية الازالة اللونية المحفزة لصبغة المثل الاخضر بوجود عالق من الـ ZnO وكانت تساوي 5.4. وجد ان تفاعل الازالة اللونية المحفز ضوئيا ماص للحرارة وان سرعة التفاعل تزداد بزيادة درجة الحرارة. حسبت قيمة طاقة التنشيط من خلال معادلة ارينوس وكانت تساوي 24.914 كيلو جول\مول ، هذه القيمة تعتبر قليلة ويعود ذلك الى تجمع وانتقال الالكترونات الضوئية خلال العامل المساعد ولامتزاز الاوكسجين على سطحه.

The effect of Henna (Lawsonia inermis) on the wound healing of Local Arabian Horses

Abstract

This study was conducted on (15) local horses to assess the effect of henna extract on wound healing in horses , the horses divided randomly into five groups ( first four groups were regarded as henna extract solutions treatment 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% respectively and the fifth group was regarded as control group ) and (3) horses for each group.
All the horses were submitted to cutaneous incisions in the neck regions , the henna extract treatment groups were treated locally and daily for (21) days except the control group which treated with distal water only.
The clinical signs of each wound were recorded daily and swabs were taken for bacterial examinations at ( 7, 14, 21 ) days to diagnose the types of bacteria which grew in the wounds and study the effect of henna extract on their growth, at first they were cultured in nutrient broth and smears were done for gram stain evaluation then they transferred to special media for each type of them, red manitol agar for Staphylococcus aureus , blood agar and brain heart broth for Streptococcus equi and cetrimide agar for Pseudomonas erogenosa .
The results showed the superiority of the henna extract solution at 20% concentration according to the clinical signs of the wound ( swollen, bleeding, dryness, abscess formation, epithelization and scar tissue formation ) and the henna extract solution with its different concentrations showed gradually absence of wound edges swollen, no bleeding, dryness, intensive growth of epithelial tissue, no abscess formation and scar tissue since the first week of the treatment.

شملت الدراسة (15) خيلا عربية محلية لمعرفة تأثير مستخلص الحناء على التئام الجروح في الخيل , حيث قسمت الخيل الى خمسة مجاميع عشوائيا ( أربعة منها مجاميع معالجة بمحلول مستخلص الحناء بتركيز 5% , 10%, 15% , 20% ومجموعة خامسة اعتبرت مجموعة سيطرة ) بواقع ثلاثة خيول لكل مجموعة.
تم عمل شقوق جراحية في الجلد لمنطقة الرقبة لجميع حيوانات التجربة , ووضع مستخلص الحناء وحسب التراكيز المحددة لكل مجموعة معالجة موضعيا وبصورة يومية لمدة (21) يوما عدا مجموعة السيطرة حيث عولجت بمحلول الماء المقطر فقط طيلة فترة التجربة .
سجلت العلامات السريرية يوميا لكل جرح وأخذت مسحات لغرض الفحص البكتيري في يوم (7 , 14 , 21) ولغرض تشخيص انواع البكتيريا الموجودة في الجروح ودراسة مدى تأثرها بمستخلص الحناء تمت زراعتها على وسط زرعي مغذي عام ثم عملت منها شرائح زجاجية وصبغت بصبغة الكرام و نقلت في اوساط زرعية متخصصة لكل منها , حيث استخدم وسط المانتول الاحمر للمكورات العنقودية الذهبية , ووسط الدم ثم المرق الدماغي القلبي المغذي للمسبحيات الخيلية , ووسط السترامايد للمتقلبات ايروجينوزا .

Abstract

The ligand [ Di(1-phenyl propanaldehyde) Hydrazone ]was prepared from Schiff bases as symbol (Z) and complexes with ions (Co+3) as symbol (CZ1), and (Cr+3) as symbol (CZ2)as the following structure:

The legand and their complexes have been characterized by a spectrophotometer Infrared (IR), Ultra violet (UV), and polarizing microscope equipped with heating stage, this techniques were found all compounds have shown a nematic phase (Enantiotropic) by heating and cooling.The study thermal conductivity behavior of compounds as a function of temperaturesof the raising (298-323 K). It has been observed that the results obtained from these compoundspossess low thermal conductivityand increases with increasing temperatures. Calculated specific heat and thermal diffusivity values, as results show that the specific heat is increasing slightly with higher temperatures, and the thermal diffusivity of this compounds is decreasing slightly with the higher temperatures. The legand have high thermal stability, complexed less matter stability.

تم تحضير اليكاند [ Di(1-phenyl propanaldehyde) Hydrazone ]منقواعدشف(Z), وعقد هذا الليكاندمع ايون الكوبلت الثلاثي التكافؤ(CZ1) وايون الكروم الثلاثي التكافؤ (CZ2), وتكون الصيغة التركيبية لليكاند كالاتي:

تم تشخيص المركبات المحضرة بواسطة طيف الأشعة تحت ألحمراء (IR)،طيف الاشعة فوق البنفسجية (UV) و المجهر الضوئي المستقطب المجهز بلوح تسخين وقد تبين ان هذه المركبات المحضرة من قواعد شف ومعقداتها تمتلك الصفة البلورية السائلة ذات الطور النيماتي الاعتيادي (ثنائي الحالة الوسطية). وقد تم دراسة سلوك التوصيل الحراري كدالة لدرجات الحرارة بمدى من ((298 – 323oK، وقد لوحظ من النتائج المستحصلة ان المركبات المحضرة ذات توصيل حراري واطئ، إذ يزداد التوصيل الحراري لها بارتفاع درجات الحرارة، وحسبتقيم الحرارة النوعية والانتشار الحراري وتبين ان الحرارة النوعية لهذه المركباتواطئة إلا إنها تزداد زيادة طفيفة بارتفاع درجات الحرارة والانتشار الحرارييتناقصبشكل طفيف بارتفاع درجات الحرارة،وكذلك لوحظ إن الليكاند ذات استقرار حراري عاليوان التعقيد يقلل من استقراريةالليكاند.

Natural Radioactivity level and the measurement of soil gas Radon ,Thoron concentrations in Hilla city

Abstract

Examine the level of natural radioactivity of radon concentration and thoron in the soil for ten important sites in the city of Hilla, by spectrometer gamma Na (Tl) system, and a focus for radon and thoron in the soil was defined using the detector solid state (RAD7), this study aims to identify the difference in the concentration of radon and thoron as well as assess the health risks associated with radioactivity natural, if any, and by the results found that the concentration of radon gas soil in the study area ranged between 34-15200 Bq/m3, it was observed that the highest concentration of radon is in the depth and the lowest concentration measured in surface.The average concentration activity of uranium, thorium, and potassium found 14.079 ± 0.46, 12.326 ± 0.43 and 416.655 ± 2.86 Bq/m3 respectively. Thus, the annual affecting radionuclide dose identified and analyzed, and found the calculated dose values is not too high and not exceeding the proposed radio-protection standards by international agencies.

قياس مستوى النشاط الإشعاعي الطبيعي وتركيز الرادون والثورون في التربة لعشرة مواقع مهمة في مدينة الحلة، بواسطة منظومة مطياف كاما Na(Tl) ، والتركيز لرادون والثورون في التربة كان محدد باستخدام كاشف الحالة الصلبة (RAD7) ، تهدف هذه الدراسة التعرف على الاختلاف في تركيز الرادون والثورون وكذلك تقيم المخاطر الصحية المرتبطة بالنشاط الإشعاعي الطبيعي إن وجدت ، ومن خلال النتائج وجد إن تركيز الرادون لغاز التربة في منطقة الدراسة تراوحت بين 34-15200 بيكرل/م3 ،ولوحظ إن أعلى تركيز للرادون يكون في العمق وأدنى تركيز يقاس في السطح.أما متوسط تركيز النشاط لليورانيوم ،ثوريوم، والبوتاسيوم وجدت 14.079±0.46، 12.326±0.43و416.655±2.86 بيكرل/م3على التوالي. وهكذا فأن الجرعة المؤثرة السنوية للنويدات المشعة حددت وحللت، ووجدت قيم الجرعة المحسوبة ليست مرتفعة جدا ولا تتجاوز معايير الحماية

Abstract

Background: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a leading cause of chronic liver disease in the world. Interferon alpha (IFN alpha) has been widely used as therapy for chronic hepatitis C.
Objective :This study was amid to evaluate the efficacy of interferon alpha therapy in patients of chronic hepatitis C for 12 and 24 weeks .
Methods: This study was conducted at Marjan Hospital from May 2014 to December 2014. the patients of hepatitis C (24 males and 26 females) had age range 18-48 years were grouped into study group (n=50) and control group (n=16). Patients had injection monthly by interferon vial 18 mlu. At weeks 0, 12 and 24, blood samples were taken for assay Biochemical indices that include blood sugar, urea, creatinine, direct and indirect and total bilirubin, albumin, aspartate aminotranferases (AST), alanine aminotransferases (ALT), and alkaline phosphatase (ALP).
Results: There are no significant differences in blood sugar and Albumin levels in HCV patients as compare to normal individuals (control). significant decrease were observed in Blood urea ,serum creatinine direct bilirubin , indirect bilirubin, total bilirubin and significant increase in AST, ALT, ALP levels in HCV patients compare to control. Treatment with interferon alfa for 12 and 24 weeks cause significant increase (P< 0.001) in Blood sugar and Albumin levels and significant decrease in Blood urea ,serum creatinine direct and indirect and total bilirubin in HCV patients as compare to normal individuals (control). Also there were no significant differences in all studied parameters and the response to treatment between males and females Conclusions: After 24 weeks of Interferon alfa therapy, patients showed hopeful response to treatment manifested by improve the biochemical induces.

خلفية البحث : التهاب الكبد الفايروسي سي هو السبب الرئيسي لأمراض الكبد المزمنة في العالم. يستخدم الأنترفيرون ألفا على نطاق واسع كعلاج لالتهاب الكبد الفايروسي سي .
هدف الدراسة :هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تقييم فعالية العلاج بالانترفيرون الفا في المرضى الذين يعانون من التهاب الكبد الفايروسي سي لمدة 12 و 24 أسبوعا.
المواد وطرق العمل : أجريت هذه الدراسة في مستشفى مرجان للمدة من شهر ايار إلى كانون الاول 2014. شملت الدراسة مرضى التهاب الكبد الفايروسي سي (24 ذكور و 26 إناث) تراوحت اعمارهم من 18-48 سنة تم تقسيمها الى مجموعة الدراسة (ن = 50) والمجموعة السيطرة (ن = 16). تم حقن المرضى شهريا بالانترفيرون بجرعة 18 MLU. خلال الأسبوع 0، 12 و 24، وتم أخذ عينة دم لفحص المؤشرات الكيموحيوية التي شملت مستوى السكر في الدم، واليوريا، والكرياتينين، البيليروبين المباشر وغير المباشر والكلي، الالبومين وAST و ALT وALP.
النتائج : اظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق معنوية في نسبة السكر في الدم ومستوى الالبومين في المرضى المصابين بالتهاب الكبد الفايروسي c مقارنة بالأشخاص الطبيعيين (السيطرة). كما لوحظ انخفاض كبير في اليوريا في الدم، والكرياتينين ومستوى البيليروبين المباشر ، البيليروبين غير المباشر، البيليروبين الكلي وزيادة كبيرة في AST، ALT، ALP في مستويات مرضى HCV مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة . تسبب العلاج بالإنترفيرون ألفا لمدة 12 و 24 أسبوعا زيادة معنوية عاليه (P <0.001) في نسبة السكر في الدم ومستوى الالبومين وانخفاض معنوي في مستوى اليوريا والكرياتينين و البيليروبين المباشر وغير المباشر والكلي في المرضى مقارنة بالأشخاص الطبيعيين (السيطرة). كما لم تكن هناك فروق معنوية في جميع المعايير التي تم دراستها والاستجابة للعلاج بين الذكور والإناث.

Abstract

This study involved the adoption of the program (Gaussian 03) to use the method of calculating the total (Ab initio of method) according to the Hartree – Fock method (RHF), for the purpose of the expense of dimensional geometry (lengths and bond angles)when the geometry of a balanced, functions thermodynamic, some physical properties, charges for derivatives ring 4-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)benzene-1,3-diols.
Have shown calculation results that the compound (R-SiH3) has the highest value of thermodynamic functions (E0,H0,G0,S0,A0) but the compound (R-AlH2) has the highest value of heat capacity (CV,CP ). The results showed that both nitrogen atoms (N9,N8) had the highest negative charge when the compound (R-AlH2) , which makes it a strong legend when Linked to metal and the formation of the complex.
For ( R-AlH2 , R-SiH3 , R-PH2 , R- SH) molecules the calculated some of physical properties ( dipole moment μ in Debye ) , orbital energies (EHOMO , ELUMO in e V ), IP (in e V) , (measurement stability Δ ) , hardness ɳ and Electron Affinity EA ) . Also For these molecules the calculated (ΔHf 0 (in KJ/mole) by using (semi-empirical method AM1 model in MOPAC program). Calculation results have shown that the compound (R-SiH3) the lower value of the heat of formation (the more Stability) as well as has the highest value of ΔE and IP that means it’s the less active between the compounds. This difference in the results come according to the difference of substituted groups.

تضمنت هذه الدراسة اعتماد برنامج كاوس (Gaussian 03 ) لاستخدام طريقة الحساب التام على وفق طريقة هارتري فوك (6-31G\RHF ) , وذلك لغرض حساب الأبعاد الهندسية (أطوال و زوايا التاصر ) عند الشكل الهندسي المتوازن , الدوال الثرموديناميكية (G0,H0,S0,A0,E0 ) وكذلك تم حساب السعة الحرارية ) Cp ,CV ), بعض الخصائص الفيزيائية وكذلك الشحنات لمشتقات حلقة ((4-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)benzene-1,3-diol والتي يرمز لها اختصارًا ( R-AlH2 , R-SiH3 , R-PH2 , R- SH) , وقد أظهرت نتائج الحساب أن المركب(R-SiH3 يمتلك أعلى قيمة من قيم الدوال الثرموديناميكية ( G0,H0,S0,A0,E0) . كما أظهرت النتائج أن المركب ( R-AlH2) يمتلك أعلى قيمة سعة حرارية ) Cp ,CV ), كما أظهرت نتائج الحساب بان لكل من ذرات النتروجين (N8 ,N9 ) قيمة شحنة سالبة عالية في المركب( R-AlH2) مما يجعله ليكاند قوي عند ارتباطه بالفلز وتكوين المعقد.

Abstract

The present work studies the effect of calcination of the fly ash that added to the concrete to enhance its strength. The fly ash added to the concrete batch in different weight ratios 20, 25, and 30 %. The fly ash added in two groups, group1: Fly ash without firing (Calcination) with particle size ranging from 0.425-1.18 mm. while group 2: Fired (calcined) fly ash at 700 ºC for 4 hours. The X-ray diffraction for calcined fly ash shows that the organic compound shown in the non calcined fly ash was disappeared and the main compounds was silica and millite. Slump test was achieved for the fresh concrete with the addition of calcined fly ash, which shows a clear reduction. The absorption of water during curing was reduced by calination the added fly ash. Also the strength of concrete was enhanced in the case of calcination the added fly ash more than in the case of adding non calcined fly ash.

البحث الحالي يدرس تأثير حرق الرماد المتطاير المضاف الى الخرسانه لتحسين مقاومتها.الرماد المتطاير المضاف الى خلطات الخرسانه يكون بنسب مختلفة 20,25,و30%. ويكون الرماد المضاف بنوعين الاول بدون حرق ويكون الحجم الحبيبي يتراوح بين 0.425-1.18ملم بينما النوع الثاني يكون الرماد المحروق بدرجة حرارية 700درجة مئوية ولمدة 4 ساعات.فحص حيود الاشعه السينية للرماد بعد الحرق اوضح بزوال المركبات العضوية التي كانت موجودة بالرماد غير المحروق المركبات الاساسية الموجودة هي سليكا والملايت. اختبار الهطول اجري للخرسانه الطرية بأضافة الرماد المحروق تحسنت بشكل ملحوظ وقلت وكذلك الامتصاصيه خلال التخمير قلت بأستخدام الرماد المحروق. المقاومة ازدادت للخرسانة المضاف له رماد محروق اكثر من اضافة رماد غير محروق .

The process of finding the limits of the image (edge detection) means finding the boundary between the neighboring regions which differ from each other in gray levels value. The extraction of features such as edges and curves from an image is useful for many purposes. Features, such as edges and curves are useful in i) texture analysis ii) 3-D surface restructuring iii) segmentation iv) image matching. Edges are important features in an image since they represent significant local intensity changes. They provide important clues to illumination.
Due to the absence of specific suitable method to detect all types of edges, the present work try to find an optimal filter to define image edges and compare it with traditional filters, the GA algorithm used to do so.

ان عملية استخراج الحافات او المنحيات من الصور يكون مفيد في العديد من الاغراض. الخصائص مثل الحافات او المنحنيات يكون مفيد في 1) تحليلات الكتابة 2) اعادة هيكلة المساحات ذات الابعاد الثلاثي 3) التقطيع 4) مطابقة الصور. الحافات تكون من الخصائص المهمة للصور حيث تمثل التغير الواضح في الشدة.هي تعطي فكرة مهمة عن المناطق المضيئة للصور.
بسبب غياب الطرق المناسبة لاستخراج جميع انواع الحافات، فان العمل الحالي يحاول لايجاد مرشح مثالي لكي يتم التعرف على حافات الصورة ومقارنتها مع المرشحات العادية.الطريقة الخوارزمية الجينية استخدمت لذلك.

Abstract

This work include a theoretical analysis of an adsorption refrigerator, the adsorption refrigerator consist of unit generator in the form of shell and tube heat exchanger, the generator can be heated either by hot water from solar collector, or from waste heat. The adsprtion pair used was active carbon-methanol. A complete thermodynamics analysis was achieved on the unit, while the thermo physical properties of methanol were calculated using Dubinin and Astakhov equation. Many key parameters were examined to find the effect off the unit starting, evaporator, condensing and peak temperatures on the cycle COP. The results show that for a certain ambient temperature there is an optimum generator temperature at which COP reaches a maximum. as the ambient temperature increases the condensing temperature increases also, thus leads to reduce cycle COP, and finally heavy materials used in building the adsorption cycle leads to increase the consumed heat that used to heat up the generator.

يعنى البحث بأجراء تحليل نظري لثلاجة امتزازية، حيث تتكون الثلاجة الامتزازية من مولد البخار واذي هو على شكل مبادل حراري من نوع الغلاف والانابيب، حيث يمكن تسخين مولد البخار بعدة طرق منها الماء الساخن الناتج من المجمع الشمسي او الحرارة المطرودة من بعض العمليات الصناعية. وكان زوج الامتزاز المستعمل من نوع الميثانول - الكاربون المنشط. وتم اجراء تحليل حراري شامل للمنظومة، اما الخواص الحرارية للميثانول فقد حسبت باستخدام معادلة ديبن و اساكوف. تم دراسة العديد من المتغيرات لغرض ايجاد تأثير بداية عمل المنظومة و درجة حرارة المبخر والتكثيف ودرجة الحرارة العظمى على معامل اداء المنظومة. بينت النتائج ان عند درجة حرارة محيط معينة هنالك درجة حرارة مثلى للمولد من خلالها يمكن الوصول الى اعلى معامل اداء للمنظومة. وكذلك فان زيادة درجة حرارة المحيط الخارجي تؤدي الى زيادة درجة حرارة التكثيف وبالتالي تنعكس سلبيا على نعامل اداء المنظومة. اضافة الى ان زيادة كتلة المادة التي تصنع منها المنظومة تؤدي الى استهلاك كمية حرارة اكثر لرفع درجة حرارة المولد الى درجات الحرارة العاملة.

Abstract

Research experiments were performed in the Lath and laboratories of Faculty of Science / University of Babylon, to improve rooting response of White and pink oleander . Eighteen treatments were used depending on the best positive results that have been obtained from previous studies.The percentage of rooted cuttings of white oleander (7.41%) and pink oleander (22.59%) . Results also indicated that absolute difficulty in rooting of white oleander in the absence of supplied IBA ( 0.00%) ,while a limited difficulty rooting in pink oleander (6.76% ) .However the highest percentage of rooting for the two varieties white and pink with combination ( IBA + O-coumaric acid) were 33.33% and 60.00% respectively.
The bioassay of white and pink oleander exudates proved that , the exudate of white oleander contain inhibitors by reducing rooting response of mung bean to half ( 8.40 )roots compared to control (15.50) root . Whereas, the mung bean cuttings treatment with pink oleander exudate was developed( 16.80) roots which equal statistically to control .Moreover, to reduce or prevent inhibitors effects that present in cuttings exudate the later has been supplied with IBA within combination with exudate of pink and white oleander. The cuttings of mung bean that treated with (white oleander exudate + IBA) developed almost half the number of roots (37.50) compared to control with auxin alone (71.10) root,whereas with a combination (pink oleander exudate + IBA) developed( 58.50) roots which was somewhat equivalent to ( 82.2%) of the control.

اجريت تجارب هذا البحث في ظلة و مختبرات كليه العلوم /جامعة بابل , وذلك لتحسين استجابة تجذير صنفين من الدفله (دفله ابيض ودفله وردي) 0 حيث تمت دراسة ثمانية عشر معامله من افضل النتائج الايجابيه التي تم الحصول عليها من الدراسات السابقه وكانت معدلات النسبه المئويه للعقل المجذره في الصنف الابيض (%7.41) والصنف الوردي(%22.59) 0كما اشارت النتائج الى صعوبة مطلقه في تجذير الدفله صنف ابيض عندغياب الاوكسين المجهز من الخارج حيث كانت النسبه المئويه للعقل المجذره %0.00 وصعوبه محدوده في تجذير الصنف الوردي (% 6.76) ,وان اعلى نسبه مئويه للتجذير للصنفين الابيض والوردي كانت مع التوليفهIBA+O-coumaric acid حيث كانت %33.33 و 60.00% على التوالي 0
اثبت الفحص الحيوي Bioassay (الكشف الاحيائي لعقل الماش[1]) لمفرزات عقل الدفله الابيض والوردي ,ان مفرزات عقل الدفله الابيض تحتوي على المثبطات من خلال خفض استجابة تجذير عقل الماش الى النصف حيث كشفت (8.40) جذر مقارنة بالسيطره (15.50) جذر 0 اما عقل الماش المعامله بمفرزات عقل الدفله الوردي فقد كانت استجابتها 16.80) ) جذر مساويه تماما للسيطره من الناحيه الاحصائيه 0ولتقليل او منع تاثير المثبط الموجود في مفرزات العقل فقد تم تجهيز الاوكسين IBA ضمن توليفه مع مفرزات الدفله الوردي والابيض ,حيث كشفت عقل الماش المعامله بــ(مفرزات الدفله الابيض +IBA) تقريبا نصف عدد الجذور (37.50)مقارنة بالسيطره اي الاوكسين لوحده (71.10) جذر, بينما كشفت مع توليفة (مفرزات الدفله الوردي +IBA ) 58.50)) جذر وهو الى حد ما مساوي الى82.20 ) %) من السيطره0

CdS and copper doped Cd1-xSCux thin films have been prepared by the spray pyrolysis method. The optical band gaps of pure and doped CdS were found to be varied from 2.34 to 2.45 eV with increase x from 0 to 0.1. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that the films were polycrystalline and exhibited two phases cubic and hexagonal structure with increasing the hexagonal phase with increasing Cu ratio.

Abstract

Seventy five white male rats were used in the present study , these animals randomly divided into five groups (15 rat for each) , first group G1 was recive physiological saline daily for two months , while animal of the second group G2 had induced diabetes mellitus by intraperitoneal injection of 150 mg/kg/Bw of alloxan and considered as control positive group . Animal of third group were subjected to same protocole used in G2 in addition to that they were treated with 150 mg/kg/Bw of ethanolic extract of Vinca rosea after month of induction of diabetes mellitus for 30 days. Animals of fourth G4 and fifth G5 groups were apllied to the same treatment that used in the animals of G3 except that the dose of Vinca rosea were 200 and 250 mg/kg/Bw respectivly. Blood samples were collected from all groups of experiment before the induction of diabetes , a month after the induction of diabetes , and after a month of dosing ethanol extract of Vinca rosea ,the study of parameters which included, measurement Blood Hemoglobin(Hb) , Red blood cells count (R.B.C) , White blood cells count (W.B.C.), and Packed cell volum (PCV),the results of present study showed a significant decrease (p<0.05) in Hb levels, R.B.C count and PCV level and significant increase (p<0.05) in W.B.C count in all diabetes group compared with intact control group . There a significant increase (p<0.05) in the Hb level, R.B.C count and PCV level, and significant decrease (p<0.05) in the W.B.C count in treatment with ethanol leaves Vinca rosea compared to the infected control group.

تم استخدام ذكور الجرذ الأبيض عددها (75) ذكر وقسمت عشوائيا الى خمسة مجاميع (كل مجموعة تحتوي على 15حيوان) , المجموعة الأولى G1 مجموعة السيطرة وجرعت يوميا بمحلول الملح الفسيولوجي ولمدة شهرين وعدت مجموعة سيطرة سالبة ، المجموعة الثانية G2 تم استحداث داء السكري بحقنها بالالوكسان Alloxan وبجرعة 150 ملغم/ كغم من وزن الجسم تحت البريتون وعدت مجموعة سيطرة موجبة ، والمجموعة الثالثة G3 تم استحداث داء السكري بها بحقنها بالالوكسان Alloxan وجرعت فمويا بعد مرور شهر من استحداث داء السكري بالمستخلص الكحولي لاوراق عين البزون وبجرعة مقدارها 150 ملغم/ كغم من وزن الجسم ولكل يوم ولمدة شهر ، والمجموعة الرابعة G4 تم استحداث داء السكري بها بحقنها بالالوكسان Alloxan وجرعت فمويا بعد مرور شهر من استحداث داء السكري بالمستخلص الكحولي لاوراق عين البزون وبجرعة مقدارها 200 ملغم/ كغم من وزن الجسم ولكل يوم ولمدة شهر ،والمجموعة الخامسة G5 تم استحداث داء السكري بها بحقنها بالالوكسان Alloxan وجرعت فمويا بعد مرور شهر من استحداث داء السكري بالمستخلص الكحولي لاوراق عين البزون وبجرعة مقدارها 250 ملغم/ كغم من وزن الجسم ولكل يوم ولمدة شهر .
جمعت عينات الدم من كل المجاميع قبل استحداث داء السكري وبعد شهر من استحداث داء السكري وبعد شهر من التجريع بالمستخلص الكحولي لاوراق عين البزون لدراسة المعايير التالية : قياس مستوى الهيموكلوبين في الدم Hemoglobin (Hb)، قياس عدد كريات الدم الحمرRed blood cells count (R.B.C) ، قياس العدد الكلي لخلايا الدم البيض White blood cells count (W.B.C) ، قياس حجم خلايا الدم المرصوصة Packed Cell Volum (PCV) ، أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الحالية ان استحداث داء السكري في ذكور الجرذ الابيض أدى إلى انخفاض معنوي (P<0.05) في مستوى الهيموكلوبينHb ،وعدد كريات الدم الحمرR.B.C ، ومستوى حجم خلايا الدم المرصوصة PCV وارتفاع معنوي ( P<0.05) في عدد كريات الدم البيضW.B.C مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة السليمة. وحصول ارتفاع معنوي (P<0.05) في مستوىHb وعددR.B.C ومستوى PCV وانخفاض معنوي (P<0.05) في عدد W.B.C في المجاميع المعاملة بالمستخلص الكحولي لاوراق عين البزون مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة المصابة .

An experiment was conducted in a field of Crops Department in Abu Gharaq / Hilla / Babylon province during the growing season 2013 to determine the impact of four sowing dates (5/15, 15/6, 15.7 and 8/15) and four spraying treatments (salicylic acid 0.5 and 1 mM, humic acid, high phosphorus fertilizer as well as control treatment ) on some physiological characteristics of mung bean plant. Randomized complete block design under split plot arrangement in triplicate was used . The plants were sprayed twice after 30 and 45 days from sowing time. The results were showed superiority of second date in leaf content of nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium, and the superiority of the fourth sowing date in leaf potassium content . Spraying high phosphorus fertilizer was superior in increasing leaf phosphorus content. Spraying humus and High phosphorus fertilizer were superior compared to other treatments in the leaf content of chlorophyll, calcium, potassium and nitrogen. The interaction had a significant effect on the previous mentioned characteristics.

أجريت التجربة في حقل قسم المحاصيل في ناحية أبو غرق / قضاء الحلة/ محافظه بابل خلال الموسم الزراعي 2013 لمعرفة تأثير أربعة مواعيد للزراعة ( 5/15 ،6/15 ، 7/15 ، 8/15) وأربعة معاملات رش ( حامض السالسلك 0.5 و 1 mM ، حامض الدبال ، سماد عالي الفسفور إضافة إلى معاملة المقارنة( في بعض الصفات الفسيولوجية لنبات ألماش . استعمل تصميم القطاعات العشوائية بترتيب الألواح المنشقة بثلاث مكررات مثلت مواعيد الزراعة الألواح الرئيسية في حين احتلت مواد الرش الألواح الثانوية. تم رش النباتات مرتين بعد 30 و 45 يوم من البذار . بينت النتائج تفوق الموعد الثاني في محتوى الأوراق من النيتروجين والفسفور والكالسيوم وتفوق الموعد الرابع في صفه تركيز عنصر البوتاسيوم ، وتفوقت معامله رش سماد عالي الفسفور معنويا في زيادة محتوى الفسفور في ألأوراق. وتفوقت معاملتا رش الدبال وسماد عالي الفسفور معنويا على المعاملات الأخرى في محتوى الأوراق من الكلوروفيل والكالسيوم و البوتاسيوم والنتروجين . وكان للتداخل تأثير معنوي

Abstract

Most macroscopic parameters indicate accessory gland dysfunctions or congenital defects , which may also effect sperm chromatin status by increasing oxidative stress and apoptosis .
The current study aimed to find out the possible relationship between sperm chromatin status and the parameters of macroscopic semen examination .
This study was carried out between June 1st. 2014 and November 1st. 2014 including one hundred (100) selected infertile men who was treated at the Fertility Center in Al-Sadr Medical City in Al-Najaf Province . The study also included twenty (20) healthy fertile volunteers as a control .
Aniline blue (AB) staining was used to differentiate between normal condensed chromatin (unstained) and abnormal decondensed chromatin (blue), while toluidine blue (TB) was used to differentiate between normal intact sperm DNA (blue) and abnormal damaged sperm DNA (purple) .

إن أغلب الفحوصات العيانية للسائل المنوي تؤشر وجود اعتلال في عمل الغدد التكاثرية المساعدة أو عيوباً خلقية ، وهذه الأمور ربما تؤثر أيضاً على حالة كروماتين النطف من خلال زيادة الاجهاد التأكسدي والموت الخلوي .
هدفت الدراسة الحالية للبحث عن العلاقة المحتملة بين حالة كروماتين النطف والفحوصات العيانية للسائل المنوي . تم إجراء هذه الدراسة للمدة من الأول من حزيران 2014 إلى الأول من تشرين الأول 2014 ، إذ تضمنت الدراسة إجراء فحص السائل المنوي والفحوصات الوراثية لعينة مكونة من (100) من الرجال العقيمين الذين يعالجون في مركز الخصوبة في مدينة الصدر الطبية في محافظة النجف الأشرف ، كما شملت الدراسة (20) شخصاً من الرجال الخصبين (مجموعة السيطرة) .
تم استعمال صبغة أزرق أنيلين (AB) للتمييز بين الكروماتين المكثف (السوي غير المصطبغ) للخلايا النطفية وبين الكروماتين غير المكثف (غير السوي المصطبغ باللون الأزرق) ، كما تم استعمال صبغة أزرق تولويدين (TB) للتعرف على الحامض النووي الرايبوزي منقوص الأوكسجين DNA والتمييز بين حالته السوية (اللون الأزرق) وحالته المحطمة (اللون البنفسجي) .

Abstract

The study included isolation and identification of pathogenic bacterial which responsible for diarrheal infection to 39 stool samples were collected from children under five years of age suffering from diarrhea attending to education children hospital for of education in the Holy Karbala during the period from May to August 2013, as it was obtained on 39 bacterial isolates from these samples, which have been diagnosed by using differential mediums, biochemical tests and by using Api 20 kits, and appeared that isolates belonging to Escherichia coli (43.58%) and Enterobacter aerogenes (30.76%) are the most common isolates that have been selected to complete the rest of the steps of the study.
A total of ten Lactobacillus spp. isolates have been obtained from different sources such as (Yoghurt ,Whey and Raw milk( ,and only one of them belong to Lactobacillus brevis showed ability to produce the cell free supernatant (biosurfactant) and showed antimicrobial activity against all pathogenic bacterial strains tested .The MIC and Sub-MIC of the cell free supernatant (biosurfactant) extracted from Lactobacillus brevis isolate was determined against studied pathogenic bacteria and the results showed that the MIC of the biosurfactant was 70 mg/ml and Sub-MIC was 60 mg/ml respectively, these results indicates that biosurfactant must be used in high concentration to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria.

تضمنت الدراسة الحالية عزل وتشخيص البكتريا المرضية المسؤولة عن اصابات الأسهال لـ (39) عينة براز جمعت من أطفال دون سن الخامسة من العمر والراقدين في مستشفى الأطفال التعليمي في كربلاء المقدسة خلال الفترة من شهر مايو ولغاية شهر اغسطس لسنة 2013 . اذ تم الحصول على ٣٩ عزلة بكتيرية مرضية من هذه العينات والتي تم تشخيصها بأستخدام الأوساط التفريقية والاختبارات البايوكيميائية وعدة التشخيصApi 20 ، وظهرت ان العزلات العائدة لنوعي الـ (43.58%) Escherichia coli و Enterobacter aerogenes ) 30.76% ) هي العزلات الأكثر شيوعاً لذلك تم أختيارها لأكمال بقية خطوات الدراسة.
تم الحصول على (10) عزلات جرثومية تابعة لبكتريا Lactobacillus من مصادر مختلفة مثل (اللبن الخاثر (اليوگرت), الحليب الخام والشرش ) وقد اظهرت واحدة منها فقط والتي تعود للـ Lactobacillus brevis القابلية العالية على انتاج المشتتات الحيوية .وقد اظهر الراشح الحيوي المستخلص من عزلة Lactobacillus brevis فعالية تثبيطية واضحة ضد نمو العزلات المرضيه قيد الدراسة . كما حدد التركيز المثبط الأدنى MIC)) والتركيز الأدنى منه (Sub-MIC ( للمشتت الحيوي ضد البكتريا المدروسة والتي بلغت 70ملغرام/مللتر , 60 ملغرام/مللتر على التوالي , الشيء الذي يؤكد ضرورة أستخدام المشتت الحيوي لهذه البكتريا بتراكيز عالية لتثبيط نمو الجراثيم الممرضة .

Abstract

Implantation of blastocyst is considered as a sensitive process in the life of growing embryo. Thus this critical period could be under threat from the harmful effect of many drugs ,among them is the carbamazepine which is used by many women for a treatment of epilepsy .
The present experiment was designed to study the effect of this drug on the process of implantation; especially during the days 7 and 9 of pregnancy. For those purpose 169 pregnant albino mice, of 25 gm weight for each one, were used .The mice were divided into control group given orally normal saline, and treated group given orally carbamazepine with concentration of 15 mg\kg. Samples from pregnant uteri containing the embryos were used. They were first fixed in Boun's solution and 5-8 um paraffin sections were cut to be stained with H and E and one step trichrome stains.
The results from control group and treated group have demonstrated that there was no effect of the drug on the process of implantation and the formation of decidual tissue which accompanied the implantation. Both control group and treated groups were showing the same results.
In addition to that the blood vessels were well developed at the site of implantation. All these results were signs of success of early period of pregnancy.

يعد غرس الكيسة الاريمية واحدة من العمليات الحساسة فى حياة الجنين النامى.لذا فأن هذه المرحلة الحرجة ممكن ان تكون تحت التهديد من العديد من العقاقير ذات التأثير الضار ومنها عقار الكاربامازبين والذى تتناوله كثير من الامهات لعلاج حالات الصرع .لذلك تم عمل تلك الدراسة الحالية لمعرفة تأثير هذا العقار على عملية الغرس وخاصة فى اليومين السابع والتاسع من الحمل.وقد استخدم فى هذه التجربة 169 أنثى حامل من الفئران البيضاء وبمعدل اوزان25 غم .قسمت الفئران الى مجموعتين مجموعة تحكم جرعت وعن طريق الفم بمحلول الملح الفسيولوجى واخرى مجموعة معاملة جرعت وعن طريق الفم بعقار الكاربامازبين بتركيز 15 ملغم / كغم .تم عمل مقاطع نسجية من اجزاء ارحام الفئران الحاوية على الجنين بعد تثبيتها بمحلول بوين وقطعت مقاطع البارافين بسماكة تتراوح ما بين 8-5) ) مايكرون ولونت المقاطع بملون الهيموتوكسلين والايوسين وبملون الكروم الثلاثى.
أظهرت نتائج البحث عدم وجود تأثير لعقار الكاربامازبين على الغرس وتكوين النسيج الساقطى المصاحب لها . وكان ذلك بتطابق نتائج مجموعتى التحكم والمعاملة وكان ذلك جليا بغرس الكيسة الاريمية وتكوين النسيج الساقطى وبأنتشارغزيرللاوعية الدموية فى مكان الغرس . دللت هذه النتائج على حصول النجاح فى الحمل فى المرحلة الاولى منه .

شملت الدراسة الحالية حساب المساحة السطحية لغلاصم نوعين من الأسماك العظمية المحلية اللتان تعودان الى عائلتين مختلفتين وهما سمكة الشلك Aspius vorax التي تعود الى عائلة الشبوطيات Cyprinidae وسمكة الخشني Liza abu التي تعود الى عائلة البياح Mugilidae, إذ جُمعت عينات أسماك الدراسة الحالية من شط الهندية بأستخدام الشباك الغلصمية وشباك الرمي باليد .
أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أختلافاً واضحاً في قيم معدلاتها لمجاميع الطول المدروسة , إذ أمتلكت مجاميع الطول الصغيرة مساحة تنفسية مطلقة صغيرة مقارنة بمجاميع الطول الكبيرة التي أمتلكت مساحة تنفسية مطلقة كبيرة والتي كانت قيم معدلاتها (26446.20 - 36625.80 ملم2) في سمكة الشلك , أما قيم معدلات سمكة الخشني كانت ( 1620.28- 2397.80 ملم2) , إذ كان معدل الطول الكلي للخيوط الغلصمية له الأثر في زيادة قيم المساحة التنفسية المطلقة (ملم2) في حين لم يظهر العاملان الأخران عدد الصفائح الثانوية ومساحة الصفيحة الثانوية أية تأثير على قيم المساحة التنفسية ولكل النوعين المدروسين , وتبين إن سمكة الشلك تقع ضمن مستوى أسماك المدى المتوسط أو متوسطة النشاط الحركي , أما سمكة الخشني تقع ضمن مستوى الأسماك الخاملة أو قليلة النشاط .

في هذا البحث تم دراسة الخواص الطيفية وذلك بأستخدام الحسابات النظرية شبه التجريبية لدراسة التركيب الجزيئي لمنظومة جزيئية لاخطية ، وهي جزيئة (S2F2) في منطقة الاشعة تحت الحمراء، وذلك باستخدام برامج الكم الشبه تجريبية وبطريقة (MNDO/pm3).
ان هذه الدراسة تكون تحت شرط الحصول على التركيب المستقر للجزيئة والتي تحصل فيها الجزيئة على اقل قيمة للطاقة الكلية. ايضاً حسبت الترددات الاهتزاز الاساسية للجزيئة الواقعة ضمن منطقة الاشعة تحت الحمراء من الطيف الكهرومغناطيسي وقد تراوحت بين 1(852.83-81.58)cm-، كذلك تم حساب كثافة توزيع الشحنة الكلية، والجهد الكهروستاتيكي .

Study of Prevalence of intestinal parasites infection among children in & attending to Karbala teaching hospital for children.

Abstract

This study sought to determine the type of the intestinal parasites and the range of spread them among infected children in the Karbala teaching hospital for children from January- 31st December 2013 were investigate 2036 stool samples collected from less one year- 12 year (1149 males and 887 females) children who suffer from some of symptoms of disease such as abdominal pains, loss of appetite, bloody diarrhea, paleness and anal itching. Results showed that the intestinal parasites were isolated from 877 stool samples (43.07%) and the highest ratio of the intestinal parasites was Entamoeba histolytica (20.31%) followed by Giardia lamblia and Enterobius vermicularis (15.96% and 5.99%), respectively.The infection was varied according to the age, while the highest infection was recorded in the children (>3-6 year) represent (52.38%), the lowest infection was recorded in the children (9-12 year) represent (24.33%). The total infection between the males and females was no significantly different with infection rate (46.30% males) and (38.86% females). The results also showed that the highest infection rate was recorded during November (47.88%) and the lowest rate during February (36.36%).In spite of the variation in the rates of infection, no significant differences were found in the rates of infection (P < 0.05), among the study months.

تضمنت الدراسة الحالية معرفة مدى انتشار ونوعية الطفيليات المعوية لدى الاطفال الراقدين والمراجعين لمستشفى كربلاء التعليمي للأطفال للفترة من كانون الثاني ولغاية 31 كانون الاول 2013. اذ فحصت 2036 عينة براز من الاطفال الذي يعانون من اعراض مرضية ( آلام بطنيه ،فقدان الشهية،اسهال قد يكون شحمي او دموي،شحوب بالإضافة الى الحكة الشرجية) والذي تراوحت اعمارهم من دون السنة الى الاثنى عشر سنة (ذكور 1149 وإناث 887) ، وجد ان عدد الحالات المصابة بالطفيليات المعوية المختلفة كانت 877 حالة (43.07%) ، وان اعلى نسبة اصابة للأطفال كانت بطفيلي Entamoeba histolytica وبلغت (20.31%) وتلتها Giardia lamblia و Enterobius vermicularis (15.96% ،5.99) على التوالي . وتفاوتت نسب الاصابة بين الفئات العمرية اذ بلغت اعلى نسبة اصابة في الفئة العمرية ( 3-6 ˃) سنة وبنسبة (52.38%) وانخفضت الاصابة في الفئة العمرية9-12)) سنة (24.33%). بينما اظهرت الدراسة عدم وجود فروق معنوية في معدل الاصابة الكلية بين الذكور والإناث اذ بلغت نسبة الاصابة لدى الذكور (46.30%) والإناث (38.89%) . كما اظهرت الدراسة ان اعلى نسبة اصابة في شهر تشرين الثاني (47.88%) واقل نسبة اصابة في شباط (36.36%)، ولم تظهر فروقا معنوية في معدلات الاصابة اثناء اشهر الدراسة المختلفة على مستوى 0.05˂p على الرغم من وجود التباين في نسب الاصابة .

Abstract

The present study was undertaken to study sex chromatin (SC) traits in white blood cells (Neutrophiles) and relationship with some blood traits and prolificacy in Shammi (Damascus) and local does. Blood sample were collected, prepared and examined to determine presence of SC and it's figures and measurements. The results showed that the percentage of drum stick (D), Sessile nodule (SN), Tear drop (T), and small club (SM) figures were 25.30, 30.60, 14.30 , and 26.60% in Shammi does respectively, while in local does reach to 29.00, 32.00, 31.00 and 26.00% respectively. High significant (P<0.01) effect of SC figures on total protein and significant on cholesterol in Shammi does, while the effect was significant (P<0.05) on some traits in local does . The regression of glucose concentration on number of lobes were highly significant in Shammi does and significant on other traits of SC. The regression of total protein on vertical axes, number of lobes and area SC to area of nucleus in Shammi does, While the regression was significant on the other traits of SC. The regression of cholesterol on vertical axes area of SC, and lobes and area SC to area of nucleus was highly significant in Shammi does and area of SC to area of nucleus in local does and significant on other traits of SC. The regression of blood hemoglobin on horizontal axes and area of SC to area of nucleus in Shammi does and on vertical axes in local does and significant on other traits of SC. The regression of packed corpuscular volume was significant on some traits of SC in Shammi and local does. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between measurement of SC and the blood traits were significant and non-significant, while with prolificacy were significant and highly significant.

أجري البحث لدراسة صفات الصبغين الجنسي في خلايا الدم البيض (العدلات) وعلاقتها بعدد من صفات الدم والخصب في المَعْز الشامي والمحلي. سُحبت عينات الدم وحُضرت وفُحصت لتحديد وجود الصبغين الجنسي وأشكاله وقياساته. بينت النتائج أن النسبة المئوية لشكل الصبغين الجنسي من عصا الطبال وبروز بدون ساق ودمعة العين والهراوي بلغت 25.75 و 30.60 و 14.30 و 29.35 % في المَعْز الشامي بالتتابع و 29.00 و 32.00 و 13.00 و 26.00% في المَعْز المحلي بالتتابع. وجود تأثير عالي المعنوية (P<0.01)لشكل الصبغين الجنسي على البروتين الكلي ومعنوياً على الكوليستيرول في المَعْز الشامي، بينما كان التأثير معنوياً (P<0.05) على نفس الصفات على المَعْز المحلي . وجود تأثير معنوي لأشكال الصبغين الجنسي على الخصب للمعز الشامي والمحلي. بيّن أنحدار الكلوكوز تأثيراً عالي المعنوية على عدد الفصوص في المَعْز الشامي ومعنوياً على باقي صفات الصبغين الجنسي. بيّن أنحدار البروتين الكلي تأثيراً عالي المعنوية على البعد العمودي وعدد الفصوص ومساحة الصبغين/مساحة النواة في المَعْز الشامي ، بينما كان الأنحدار معنوي على باقي الصفات. أوضح أنحدار الكوليستيرول تأثيراً عالي المعنوية على البعد العمودي ومساحة الصبغين ومساحة الصبغين/مساحة النواة في المَعْز الشامي ومساحة الصبغين/مساحة النواة في المَعْز المحلي ومعنوياً على باقي صفات الصبغين الجنسي. بين انحدار خضاب الدم تأثيراً عالي المعنوية على البعد الأفقي ومساحة الصبغين/مساحة النواة في المَعْز الشامي وعلى البعد العمودي في المَعْز المحلي ومعنوياً على باقي صفات الصبغين. بيّن أنحدار حجم خلايا الدم المرصوصة تأثيراً معنوياً على بعض صفات الصبغين الجنسين للمعز الشامي والمحلي. كما أظهرت النتائج أن معاملات الأرتباط بين قياسات الصبغين الجنسي وصفات الدم المدروسة كانت معنوية وغير معنوية، بينما كانت بين المعنوية وعالية المعنوية مع الخصب .

Abstract

Epilepsy is considered as one of the common neurological disorders.
About 50 million persons have affected by epilepsy .Carbamazepine is one of the common drugs used by pregnant women with epilepsy. The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of carbamazepine on the process of brain development during day 13 of pregnancy.
Fifty pregnant albino mice have been used. They were divided into two groups. The control group that had been orally drenched with normal saline. The other group was treated group that had been given 15 mg\Kg of Carbamazepine orally. The fetuses have been collected after killing of the mice. Boun’s solution was selected as fixative. 5-8 µm thick sections from the fetuses were cut to be stained with hematoxylin and eosin.
The results have demonstrated a differentiation for the tissue of the brain wall. The neuroepithelium was consisting of Ependymal, mantle and marginal layers . The mantle layer was representing the future grey matter, while the marginal layer will be differentiated to be the white matter.In the treated group the cells of the mantle layer were irregular with areas of degeneration and necrosis.The cells of the marginal layer were disarrayed with spaces between the cells. For the hindbrain there was considerable reduction in the size of the cells with patches of haemorrhage. As well as the chanches that occure in brain wall.

يعد الصرع epilepsy احد الاضطرابات العصبية الشائعة, اذ يوجد حوالي 50 مليون شخص بالعالم مصاب بالصرع, ويعدعقار الكاربامازبين احد العقاقير التي تتناولها الأم المصابة بالصرع والذي يعد من العقاقير الشائعة التي توصف للمرأة الحامل. تهدف الدراسة الحالية لمعرفة تأثير عقار الكاربامازبين في تكوين الدماغ في اليوم الثالث عشر من الحمل. استخدم فى هذه التجربة 50 أنثى حامل من الفأرالأبيض.قسمت الفئران الى مجموعتين مجموعة تحكم جرعت بمحلول الملح الفسيولوجى واخرى مجموعة معاملة جرعت بعقار الكاربامازبين بتركيز 15 ملغم / كغم . جمعت الاجنة من ارحام الاناث الحوامل بعد شقها لاستخراج الاجنة . ثبتت الاجنة فى محلول البوين . ولونت المقاطع النسجية المقطعة بسماكة 8-5 مايكرون بملون الهيموتوكسلين والايوسين .
اظهرت نتائج البحث تمايزا واضحا لنسيج جدار الدماغ اذ كانت الظهارة العصبية مكونة من طبقة البطانة العصبية والطبقة الغطائية والطبقة الحافية , تمثل الطبقة الغطائية المادة السنجابية المستقبلية , وتمثل المنطقة الحافية المادة البيضاء المستقبلية . كانت خلايا البطانة العصبية لمجموعة المعاملة غير نشطة انقساميا , اما الطبقة الغطائية فكانت خلاياها متباينة الشكل وغير منتظمة الترتيب مع وجود حالات تنكس وتنخر وتجميع للخلايا محدثا فراغات في المنطقة اضافة الى وجود خلايا ميتة , اما الطبقة الحافية فلوحظ تبعثر للخلايا فيها معفقدان حالة التنظيم , اما في الدماغ المتوسط فقد ظهرت حالات من نقص التنسج في الطبقة الغطائية اضافة الى التنكس والتنخر وتجميع للخلايا وظهور فراغات في الطبقة الحافية مع فقدان تنظيم خلاياها , اما الدماغ الخلفي فقد لوحظ بالاضافة الى الحالات السابقة الذكر في الدماغ الامامي والدماغ المتوسط اضمحلال في الخلايا وحدوث نزف دموي خفيف .
الاستنتاجات :ادى استخدام عقار الكاربامازبين تركيز 15 ملغم/كغم في جنين عمر 13 يوما من الحمل الى ظهور اضرار نسجية في طبقات الدماغ .

Abstract

This study included the influence of some environmental factors, temperature, pH, type of culture media, light and dark on the growth of A. alternata and production Alternariol AOH. The results showed that temperature had a significant effect (p<0.05) on the A. alternata growth and the optimum temperature was 25 ºC (8.5 cm for colony diameter) and the maximum temperature was 35ºC, minimum temperature was 20ºC.
The results showed that ,temperature had a significant effect (p<0.05) on the on AOH production and the optimum temperature was 30 ºC (141.5 microgram/ml).
pH effected growth where the best growth of A. alternate was at pH 6 giving 8.5 cm for colony diameter and a difference was significant at the p< 0.05 for other pH when the pH was 8 less than the growth rate 4.3 cm for colony diameter as well as pH affected production of AOH by significant differences at pH was the highest production 116.1 micrograms/ml and less production was at pH 8 giving 57.8 microgram/ml.
This results also showed that, there are significant differences in the rate of growth of A. alternata depending on the type of culture media, PSA showed significant differences among others of growth 8.5 cm for colony diameter and decreased rate growth in other types of media lower growth rate of 4.0 cm for colony diameter for Sabourd agar. PAS gave best amount of production of toxin 112.8 microgram/ml.
Dark condition showed a significant increase in growth of A. alternata 8.2 cm for colony diameter while 6.5 cm under light conditions, So a significant increase for AOH production was in dark 182.8 microgram/ml, while in light was 74.5 microgram/ml.

تضمنت الدراسة تاثير بعض العوامل البيئية كدرجة الحرارة ودالة الحموضة pH ونوع الوسط الغذائي والضوء والظلام في نمو الفطر A. alternataوانتاجه سم الالترناريول AOH. اوضحت النتائج ان لدرجة الحرارة تاثير معنوي في نمو الفطر A. alternata اذ كانت درجة الحرارة المثلى لنموه هي 25مْ, اذ بلغ معدل قطر مستعمرة النمو 8.5سم وقد اختلف معنوياً على مستوى احتماليه 0.05 عن معاملة درجات الحرارة الاخرى, كما أوضحت النتائج ان درجة الحرارة أثرت ايضاً وبفارق معنوي على عمليه انتاج سم AOH وسجلت درجة حرارة 30مْ اعلى قيمه لانتاج السم بلغت 141.5 مايكروغم/مل في حين انخفض معدل الإنتاج بفارق معنوي مع ارتفاع درجة الحرارة وصولا الى 74.5مايكرو غرام/مل عند درجة حرارة 35مْ.
كان لدالة الحموضة تاثيراً على النمو اذ مثل pH عند القيمة 6افضل حالة نمو للفطر A. alternata وصل فيها قطر مستعمرة النمو الى 8.5 سم وبفارق معنوي عند مستوى احتمالية 0.05عن بقية المعاملات الاخرى وقد مثل pH عند القيمه 8 اقل معدل نمو وصل الى 4.3 سم كذلك اثرت دالة الحموضة على انتاج سم AOH واختلفت معنوياً مع تغير قيمه الــــpH فقد مثل5 pH اعلى انتاج بلغ 116.1 مايكروغرام/مل اما اقل قيمة انتاج فكانت عندpH 8 حيث بلغت 57.8مايكروغرام/مل.
اوضحت النتائج ايضاً ان هناك فروق معنوية في معدل نمو الفطر A. alternata تبعاً لنوع الوسط الزرعي حيث اظهر وسط PSA تفوقاً معنوياً على الأوساط الأخرى إذ بلغ قطر مستعمرة النمو 8.5 سم, فيما انخفض معدل النمو في انواع الاوساط الاخرى وصولا الى 4.0سم على وسط الــــــ Sabouraud agar. واظهر الوسط الزرعي Potato Sucrose Agar PSAافضل كمية انتاج للسم بلغت 112.8 مايكروغرام/مل وبفارق معنوي عن بقية الاوساط الاخرى كذلك وسط الزابك اكار معنوياً على كل من وسطي خلاصة الخميرة Yeast extract agar والسابرويد Sabouraud agar
واظهر نمو الفطر A. alternata تحت ظروف الظلام تفوقاً معنوياً على نموه تحت ظروف الضوء فقد وصل قطر مستعمره النمو الى 8.2سم تحت ظروف الظلام فيما بلغ 6.5 سم تحت ظروف الضوء. وتفوقت معاملة الظلام وبفارق معنوي كبير عن معاملات الضوء اذ بلغت كميه الانتاج 182.8 مايكروغرام/مل, بينما بلغ معدل الانتاج تحت ظروف الضوء 74.5 مايكروغرام/مل.

• the result revetled is A significant increase of chemical parameter (P<0.05) in the mean concentration of potassium, calcium ,Total protein and creatinine in Summer and a significant decrease (P<0.05) of mean concentration in potassium, calcium ,Total protein and creatinine in Winter.

اجريت الدراسة الحالية في مختبرات قسم علوم الحياة/ جامعة كربلاء بالتعاون مع مختبر الكيمياء السريرية في مدينة الحسين الطبية (ع) للفترة من 5/1/2011ولغاية 15/8/2012 واستخدم في التجربة (20) من ذكور الارانب النيوزلندية والتي معدل اعمارها (12-10) شهرا ومعدل اوزانها (2.85-3.01) كغم . قسمت الارانب الى مجموعتين الاولى شملت(10) أرانب لعينات الشتاء و(10) و الثانية شملت ارانب لعينات الصيف , وتم قياس الحرارة والرطوبة في فصل الشتاء وكانت على التوالي (%70,12 oC ) بواسطة جهاز قياس الحرارة والرطوبة Thermometer & Hydrometer لشهري كانون الثاني وشباط. اما في فصل الصيف فقد قيست الحرارة والرطوبة وكانت على التوالي 10,25 oC)%) لشهري نيسان ومايس. وتضمنت الدراسة تقييما لمدى وكيفية الحفاظ على حالة التوازن المائي في الارانب من ناحية وظيفية في فصلي الشتاء والصيف, وتم قياس المعايير الكيموحيوية والتي شملت قياس مستوى البروتين الكلي Total Protein, واليورياUrea ، وحامض اليوريك Uric Acid, والسكر Suger, والكرياتنين Creatinine, والصوديوم Sodium, والبوتاسيوم Potassium في فصل الشتاء والصيف وأظهرت نتائج التحليل الاحصائي ما يأتي :-
• هناك ارتفاع معنوي في المعايير الكيموحيوية بمستوى P<0.05)) في متوسط تراكيز البوتاسيوم والكالسيوم والبروتين الكلي والكرياتنين في فصل الصيف وانخفاض معنوي بمستوى P<0.05)) في متوسط تراكيز البوتاسيوم والكالسيوم والبروتين الكلي والكرياتنين فصل الشتاء.
• هناك ارتفاع معنوي بمستوى P<0.05)) في متوسط تراكيز الصوديوم واليوريا والسكر في فصل الشتاء وانخفاض معنوي بمستوى P<0.05)) في متوسط تراكيز الصوديوم واليوريا والسكر في فصل الصيف.

Abstract

A field experiment was performed during the autumn season of 2011 year in the (Abi Garaq) 10km west Hilla city. To study the effects of two cultivars ( Engath ، Kaffer) and cutting stages ( booting stage , half bloom ,soft dough stage) on chemical characteristics . the experiment was Applied by using split –plots according to (R.C.B.D) with three replicates. Cultivars were assigned as a main-plots. and cutting stages as sub- plots. The results indicated that using kaffer cultivar significantly increased the percentage of dry matter and protein percent while using (Engath) cultivar significantly increased the total ash percent .the cutting stages was significantly different in all the studied charecteristics .soft dough stage was given higher percent of dry matter yield and protein percent and crude fiber percent , While booting stage was given higher protin percent and total ash percent .Soft dough stage was also given higher dry matter percent was ( 13.17) ton.ha. the results indicated significant interactions between cultivars and cutting stages in dry matter percnt and total ash percent .

نفذت تجربة حقلية خلال الموسم الخريفي لعام 2013في منطقة (أبي غرق)10 كم غرب مدينة الحلة بهدف دراسة تأثير الأصناف (إنقاذ , كافيير) ومراحل القطع (الرأس المغلف ، 50% تزهير، الطورالعجيني) في حاصل العلف والمكونات الكيميائية ،طبقت تجربة بأستخدام القطع المنشقة (split- plots ) وتصميم القطاعات العشوائية الكاملة وبثلاثة مكررات اذ تضمنت القطع الرئيسية صنفين هما انقاذ كافير والقطع الثانوية مراحل القطع( الرأس المغلف ، 50 % تزهير ،الطور العجيني) . أظهرت النتائج تفوق الصنف ( كافيير ) معنوياً في نسبة المادة الجافة ونسبة البروتين ونسبة الالياف ، في حين تفوف الصنف ( إنقاذ) في متوسط نسبة الرماد الكلي ، ولم تختلف الأصناف معنويا في متوسط حاصل المادة الجافة وحاصل البروتين وحاصل الالياف . كما اختلفت مراحل القطع معنويا في جميع الصفات المدروسة ، اذ أعطت مرحلة الطور العجيني اعلى متوسط لنسبة وحاصل المادة الجافة وحاصل البروتين ونسبة وحاصل الالياف ، في حين اعطت مرحلة الرأس المغلف اعلى متوسط لنسبة البروتين ونسبة الرماد الكلي ، وأحرزت مرحلة الطور العجيني أعلى حاصل مادة جافة بلغ (13.17) طن.هـ-1 . أظهرت النتائج وجود تداخل معنوي بين الأصناف ومراحل القطع في متوسط نسبة المادة الجافة والرماد الكلي

Abstract

The light weigh concrete (Thermiston) have wide uses in the recent building and structures . Mixing (Cement , lime , Sand) together with Aluminum powder have been create the thermiston material.
This paper study to find out the impact of the fineness of sand on both of the density and the compressive strength for the thermiston material . this study was used six degree of sand (48 , 52 , 58 , 60 , 64 , 68) to get (36) samples which crated a cubical shape (100×100×100) mm3 ، six samples from each degree.
The laboratory examination indicated that the density is between (0.69 - 0.75) g /cm3 and the compressive strength is between (0.40 - 8.21) N /mm2 .
The final results ensured that There is no effect for the finesse of sand on thermistons density , but there is effect on compressive strength , whenever more finesse degree of sand more compressive strength

تعتبر الخرسانة الخفيفة (الثرمستون) من المواد الشائعة الاستخدام في بناء القواطع في مختلف أنواع الأبنية والمنشآت الحديثة. يتكون هذا النوع من الخرسانة من خلط نسب مختلفة من السمنت والنورة والرمل ومسحوق الألمنيوم.
تضمن البحث دراسة تأثير درجة نعومة الرمل المستخدم كماده أولية في انتاج الثرمستون على كثافته ومقاومته للانضغاط ، حيث تم استخدام ستة درجات نعومة للرمل هي (48,52,58,60,64,68)% لتكوين ستة خلطات ثرمستونية ، ومنها تم تحضير (36) نموذج على شكل مكعب بأبعاد (100×100×100) ملم3، ستة نماذج لكل درجة نعومة.
فحوصات مختبرية خاصة اجريت على المكعبات الثرمستونية فأعطت كثافه تراوحت ما بين(0.759–0.692) غم/سم3 ومقاومته انضغاط تراوحت بين(8.21– 0.40) نيوتن/ملم2 .
بينت النتائج بان كثافة الثرمستون لا تتأثر بدرجة نعومة الرمل ولكن كان التأثير كبير على مقاومة الانضغاط ، حيث كانت العلاقة طردية ، كلما زادة درجة نعومة الرمل زادت مقاومة الانضغاط.

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during 2007 and 2008 rice seasons at Al-Mishkhab Rice Research Station at Al-Najaf province. The objective was to know the effect of different seedlings age on growth plant dynamic and yield and component of yield of two rice cultivars (Anber33 , Jasmine). The design was used split plots with RCBD arrangement in three replications. Cultivation practices managed according to System of Rice Intensification(SRI) methods. The results of experiment showed that the young seedlings (8 , 10 , 12) days old gave highest average grain yield than the late transplanting of seedlings (30 days old) for both seasons (2007,2008). In the first season, the results indicated that the highest average grain yield was 7161 kg.ha-1 for 12 days of seedlings old for both cultivars , and the lowest average grain yield was 4749 kg.ha-1 for 30 days of seedlings old. In the second season, the highest average grain yield was 6827 kg.ha-1 for 8 days of seedlings old , and the lowest average grain yield was 4625 kg.ha-1 for 30 days of seedlings old for both cultivars. The plants growth and essential activities performance of younger seedlings were the best for both seasons, the early transplanting of seedlings with(8, 10, 12) days old gave highest of plant height, the plant gave biggest ability with (12, 15) days seedling old, and the highest leaves number with(12, 15) days old.

نفذت تجربة حقلية في محطة أبحاث الرز في المشخاب في محافظة النجف خلال موسمين زراعيين متتاليين (2007 و 2008) بهدف معرفة تأثير عمر الشتلات في نمو النبات وحاصل الحبوب ومكوناته لصنفين من الرز هما ( عنبر33 و الياسمين). تجربة عاملية بتصميم القطاعات الكاملة المعشاة RCBD وبثلاثة مكررات. إدارة العمليات الزراعية للمحصول بطريقة نظام SRI. بينت النتائج إن عمر الشتلات المبكرة (8 ، 10، 12) يوم أعطت أعلى معدل حاصل للحبوب وللصنفين ولكلا الموسمين، إذ أشارت التجربة إلى انه في الموسم الأول كان أعلى معدل حاصل للصنفين 7161 كغم.هـ-1 في عمر الشتلة (12 يوم)، وأقل معدل حاصل حبوب للصنفين كان 4749كغم.هـ-1 في عمر الشتلة 30 يوم. في الموسم الثاني كان أعلى معدل حاصل للحبوب للصنفان 6827 كغم.هـ-1 في عمر الشتلة 8 يوم، وأقل معدل حاصل للحبوب للصنفان 4625 كغم.هـ-1 في عمر الشتلة (30يوم). في العمر المبكر للشتلات كان نمو النباتات وأداء المحصول لفعالياته الحيوية هي الأفضل للصنفين ولكلا الموسمين، إذ حقق الشتال المبكر في عمر الشتلات (8،10،12) يوم أعلى معدل ارتفاع للنبات، وحقق النبات قابلية تفريع عالية في عمر الشتلات (12،15) يوم، وأعطى عمر الشتلات (12،15) يوم أعلى عدد للأوراق في النبات.

Abstract

The study include isolate and diagnosis the Coagulase Positive Staphylococci bacteria from (120) clinical sample of hospitals holy city of Karbala (General Al Hussein Hospital٫Karbala Children Hospital) included Nasal swabs, Ear swabs, skin swabs, Burn swabs, Wound swabs, Operation swabs and Urine sample as well as food samples which included samples of cheese, Dairy Yoghurt sample, samples of meat and ice cream sample for the period (April 15 to Jule 30 , 2014).
CPS formed ratio ((٪39.13 , ٪60.0 )) of clinical and food samples respectively, Also been diagnosed tow species of CPS (S. aureus and S. hyicus ) , and studying the different condition for the production of Coagulase enzyme for both species it was noted that is a great similarity in those circumstances except for some difference the results indicate that the chemical defined medium led to an increase in the production of the enzyme in both types under study it was noted t temperature (37) C, pH (7.5), incubation time (24 hrs.) & incubator shaking (100 rpm) which led to increased production of the enzyme for both types.

(Coagulase Positive Staphylococci,CPS) من عينات سريرية بلغت (102) عينة من مستشفيات مدينة كربلاء المقدسة (مستشفى الحسين(ع) العام ومستشفى كربلاء للأطفال ) وشملت المسحات الأنفية ، المسحات الأذنية ، المسحات الجلدية ،مسحات الحروق ، مسحات الجروح ، مسحات صالات العمليات وعينات الإدرار وكذلك العينات الغذائية والتي بلغت (35) عينة وشملت عينات الأجبان ، عينات الألبــــان ، عينات اللحــــوم وعينات البوظــــة للفترة بين (15 نيسان- 15 تموز2014) 0شكلت المكورات العنقودية الموجبة لانزيم مخثر البلازما (CPS) المتحصل عليها نسبة (%39.13 ،%60.86) للعينات السريرية والعينات الغذائية على التوالي وتم تشخيص نوعين من المكورات العنقودية الموجبة لانزيم مخثر البلازما CPS)) وهما S. aureus وS. hyicus وتم دراسة الظروف المختلفة لإنتاج انزيم مخثر البلازما ((Coagulase لكل النوعين المدروسين ولوحظ أن هنالك تشابهاً كبيراً في تلك الظروف ما عدا بعض الاختلافات 0أشارت النتائج أن وسط Chemical defined medium أدى إلى زيادة في إنتاج الانزيم في كلا النوعين قيد الدراســـــة ولوحظ أن درجة الحرارة37) ) م والأس الهيدروجيني (7.5) وفترة حضن (24hrs.) واستخدام حاضنة هزازة بسرعة (100) هزة أدت كلها إلى زيادة إنتاج الانزيم في كلا النوعين المدروسين0 حيث جاءت هذه الدراسة لتحقيق الأهداف التالية:-
1- عزل وتشخيص المكـــورات العنقوديـــة الموجبـــــــة لأنزيم مخثر البلازما CPS من مصادر سريرية وغذائية مختلفة0

This study was conducted in private farm in Karbala ,fifteen does were randomly divided into three groups (5 each),animal of first group (control ) free from any addition only concentrated diet, the 2nd group (T1) feeded on 90 gm of Trigonella fenum seed add to each Kg diet as afood addivites , while the 3rd group (T2) feeded on 9 gm of Nigella sativa seed add to each Kg diet as Afood addivites , weekly milk yield and milk chemical composition (fat %,protein %, lactose%, soild non fat (snf)% ) was investigated , milk yield checked for 6 week ,and samples of milk were taken for laboratory analysis , the result show significant increase (P< 0.05) in milk yield in 2nd group(T1) and 3rd group (T2) in compared with control group (C ) , no significant difference were abserved in Fat%, milk protein %, lactose %and Snf % among all groups.

اجريت الدراسة في حقل اهلي في محافظة كربلاء اذ اخذت 15 من اناث الماعز المحلي بعد وضعها للمواليد و قسمت الى ثلاثة مجاميع متساوية و ضمت كل مجموعة 5 حيوانات . غذيت مجموعة السيطرة (C) على عليقة مركزة حيث قدمت العليقة المركزة بنسبة 2.5% من وزن الجسم مع اعطاء العلف الاخضر بكميات كافية والرعي الحر لمدة ساعتين يوميا ,وغذيت مجموعة المعاملة الاولى (T1) على نفس العليقة السابقة مع اضافة بذور الحلبة بمقدار 90 غم /كغم علف , وغذيت مجموعة المعاملة الثانية (T2) على نفس العليقة الاصلية مع اضافة بذور الحبة السوداء بواقع 9 غم /كغم علف ,و لمدة 90 يوما وقيست كمية الحليب المنتجة اسبوعيا من الحيوانات وكذلك تم تحليل تركيب الحليب الكيمياوي (نسبة الدهن و والبروتين و سكر الحليب (اللاكتوز) و المواد الصلبة اللادهنية ) اسبوعيا , واظهرت النتائج تفوق معنوي 0.05) >p ) لمجموعة (T1) ومجموعة (T2) على مجموعة السيطرة في معدل كمية الحليب المنتجة اثناء مدة التجربة , بينما لم يكن هناك فروق معنوية بين مجموعات التجربة في نسبة الدهن بروتين الحليب واللاكتوز والمواد الصلبة اللادهنية ,وتبين من هذه الدراسة ان اضافة بذور الحلبة او بذور الحبة السوداء الى علائق اناث الماعز المحلي الاسود قد ادت الى رفع كمية الحليب المنتجة من هذه الحيوانات مقارنة مع الحيوانات التي لم تضاف الى علائقها بذور الحلبة او بذور الحبة السوداء .

The macrocycle ligand type N2S2 have been prepared through two steps.the first Included the reaction between two equivalent of mercapto acetic acid and one eq- Univalent of 1,4-phenylene di amine , the second included the reaction of first step precursor with penta erythritol tetra bromide,to obtainted the target ligand .the Co+2 with metal from there action of the ligand Complexes were prepared Ni+2 , Cu+2 ions 1:2 ratio , the prepousd compounds were characterized by FT-IR , UV-Vis , NMR , C.H.N spectoscopies , mass spectra as well as the molar conductivity and magnetic
successptibility, stability constant and mole ratio was corried out of prepared complexes these measurements shows the suggested geometry around the cobalt ion is distorted octahydral and squar planer around nickel ion and tetrahydral around cupper ion .

تضمن البحث تحضير وتشخيص ليكاندحلقة كبيرة جديد من نوع (N2S2) ومعقدات ثنائية النواة مع بعض الايونات للعناصرالانتقالية الثنائية ذات الصيغة العامة :

حيث M= Ni+2 , Cu +2 M= Co+2
حضرالليكاند بخطوتين تضمنت الخطوة الاولى مفاعلة مكافئين من حامض الخليك الكبريتي مع مكافئ واحد من4,1- فنيلين ثنائي امين . وبعد اتمام تحضير هذا المشتق تم تحضير الليكاند النهائي من خلال مفاعلة مكافئين من المشتق مع مكافئ واحد فقط من المركب (بنتا ارثريتول تترابرومايد) وبعد ذلك تم تحضير المعقدات من خلال مفاعلة الليكاند الناتج مع مكافئين من الايونات الفلزية ( Cu+2, Ni+2, Co+2 ) .شخص الليكاند والمعقدات المحضرة بواسطة مطيافية الاشعة تحت الحمراء والاشعة فوق البنفسجية – المرئية وطيف الرنين النووي المغناطيسي وطيف الكتلة لليكاند والتحليل الكمي الدقيق للعناصر .اضافة الى قياسات التوصيلية المولارية و وقياسات درجات الانصهار والحساسية المغناطيسية. بينت الدراسات ان الاشكال الفراغية المقترحة للمعقدات المحضرة هي ثمانية السطوح المشوهة) distorted octahydral ) للكوبلت والمربع المستوي للنيكل(Squar planer ) ) ورباعي السطوح للنحاس (tetrahydral) .كما تم ايجاد نسبة الايون الى الليكاند (M:L) بطريقة النسب المولية فكانت (2:1) لكل المعقدات المحضرة وحسبت ثوابت الاستقرارية (Ksta) والدوال الثرموديناميكية (ΔG , ΔS , ΔH) اذ بينت ان المعقدات ذات استقرارية عالية والتفاعلات ماصة للحرارة وتحصل بصورة تلقائية.

Abstract

The study was conducted on natural forest in northern Iraq of Atroosh district, located 36˚ 31̄ - 36˚ 51̄ latitude and between 43˚ 20̄ - 43˚ 21̄ longitude and 782 – 1036 m above the sea surface , Pinus brutia Ten. which is the famous of forest trees and other speics represented by different ratio.
Some variables of seedling were measured in this study using of location four, which location included five of samples, , the sample shape was determined as a Circle with 35 m in diameter, with a total area of 3846.5 m² per Grid, these variables height and diameter were adopted of seedling (about 2m height), these information were recorded in special forms then analyzed.
The local and Depending on GPS type of Etrex in determing natural distribution of forest trees in atroosh location, the purpose of this study is the search for information about the forests like diversity, natural regeneration, distribution of plant communities for the pine forest in the Atroosh District, such information are essential for sustainable productive for the natural resourcesn.
The results showed that the samples located between north and northeast had the greatest significant in regeneration because of their location in the wet area, with few cover crown when compared with the samples located in the south and west, with best elevation in regeneration between 782- 931m above the sea surface also with average 890.15m and average slope between 3.75%-7.22%.

أجريت هذه الدراسة على غابات الصنوبر الطبيعية شمال العراق في منطقة أتروش الواقعة على دائرة عرض تتراوح بين ̄ 31 ˚ 36 - ̄51 ˚36 شمالا وخـــط طول يتراوح بين ̄20 ˚ 43 - ̄21 ˚ 43 شرقا ضمن حدود محافظة دهوك وارتفاع عن مستوى سطح البحر بين ( 782- 1036) متر ، وتتمثل هذه الغابات بالصنوبر البروتي Pinus brutia Ten وبعض الأنواع الأخرى .
تم قياس بعض المتغيرات للبادرة من خلال دراسة أربعة مواقع , كل موقع يحتوي على خمسة عينات لمنطقة البحث مع مساحة للعينة الواحدة تبلغ 3846.5م2 بنصف قطر مقداره 35م ، هذه المتغيرات هي الارتفاع ، القطر والتي قيست للبادرات (ارتفاع أقل من 2م ) والتي تمثل المرحلة الأولى من عمر الشجرة وكذلك قيس عرض المجموعة الخضرية للأشجار الأمهات المتمثل بالتاج نقلت المعلومات بعد ذلك إلى جهاز الحاسوب وأجريت لها التحاليل اللازمة.
تم الاعتماد على تحديد نظام المواقع العالمي(GPS) لقياس الإحداثيات من خلال جهاز نوع Etrex في تحديد التوزيع الطبيعي والمكاني لأشجار الغابات في منطقة أتروش ، وإن الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو البحث عن المعلومات التي تتعلق بالغابة من حيث التنويع والتجديد الطبيعي وطرق التوزيع للمجتمعات النباتية لأشجار الصنوبر البروتي في منطقة أتروش والتي تعد بيانات أساسية للإنتاج المستدام للموارد الطبيعية الغاباتية المتجددة .
أظهرت النتائج أن العينات الواقعة في الواجهات الشمالية والشمالية الشرقية ذات فرق معنوي بالتجديد لوفرة المحتوى الرطوبي مع تغطية تاجية قليلة لهذه العينات قياسا إلى العينات في الواجهات الأخرى ( الجنوبية والغربية) ، مع أفضل ارتفاع يمكن ملاحظته بالنسبة للتجديد هو بين 782- 931م عن مستوى سطح البحر ومعدل ارتفاع هو 890.15م ، ومعدل نسبة انحدار بين 3.75% - 7.22% .

Abstract

The study was conducted at laboratories of department of animal technical production ,Al-MusaibTechnicalCollege from 1/2/2011 to 1/2/2012 to investigate some biochemical composition of ovine follicular fluid in relation to season and follicle size. The female reproductive organs were collected from slaughter house of province of Karbala .A total of 240 samples of genital tract. The samples were transported to the laboratory within 2-3 hours post slaughter. The follicular fluid was aspirated from small (>4mm),medium (4-6mm)and large (≤ 7mm) follicle .The follicular fluid was stored at -4C° prior to assay. Follicular fluid sample were analyzed for estrogen hormone, follicle stimulating hormone ,glucose ,cholesterol ,total protein ,potassium and calcium .The results showed that the mean of estrogen hormone level at different seasons of the year were highly significant (p<0.01)with an increased follicular size(diameter) ,while the mean follicle stimulating hormone level decreased highly significant (p<0.01) with difference in follicular diameter.The mean of cholesterol level at different seasons of the year wasshowed highly significant increased (p<0.01) in follicular fluid with increased in follicular size. The mean of glucose level at different seasons of the year increased significantly (p<0.01) with increased follicular size , while the mean total protein level at different seasons of the year decreased in highly significant (p<0.01) with enlargement of follicular size.The mean of potassium level at different seasons of the year decreased highly significant (p<0.01) with increased follicular size, rather the mean of calcium level at different seasons of the year increased significantly (p<0.01) with increased follicular size.

أﹸجريت الدراسة في مختبرات قسم تقنيات الإنتاج الحيواني/الكلية التقنية/ المسيب للمُدة من1/2/2011لغاية1/2/2012 بهدف دراسة بعض المكونات الكيموحيوية للسائل الجُريبي المبيضي للنعاج وعلاقتها بالموسم وحجم الجُريبه. جمعت الأعضاء التناسُلية الإنثوية من مجزرة محافظة كربلاء، بلغ المجموع الكلي للقناة التناسُلية240عينة ,نقلت العينات إلى المختبر خلال 2-3ساعات بعدالذبح. سحب السائل الجُريبي من الجُريبات الصغيرة (أقل من4ملم) والمتوسطة(4-6ملم) والكبيرة(تساوي أو أكثر من7 ملم) , ثم خزﻥ ﹶالسائل الجُريبي بدرجة 4مئوية تحت الصفر لحين التحليل تم تحليل عينات السائل الجُريبي لبيان مُستوى هرمون المُودق((Estrogenوهرمون مُحفز الجُريباتFollicleStimulating Hormone- FSH)) والكلوكوز والكوليستيرول والبروتين الكلي والبوتاسيوم والكالسيوم. أظهرت النتائج إرتفاع مُعدل مُستوى هرمون المُـودق للفصـول الأربعة بصورة عالية المعنوية(0.01>p) مع زيادة حجم الجُـريبة، بينما إنخفض وبشكل عالي المعنوية(0.01>p) مُعدل مُستوى هرمون مُحفز الجُريبات مع إختلاف حجم الجُريبة.إزداد معنوياﹰ(0.01>p) مُعدل مُستوى الكوليستيرول للفصول الأربعة في السائل الجُريبي مع زيادة حجم الجُريبة، إرتفع وبشكل عالي المعنوية(0.01>p) مُعدل مُستوى الكلوكوز للفصول الأربعة مع زيادة حجم الجُريبة، بينما إنخفض مُعدل مُستوى البروتين الكلي للفصول الأربعة بمعنوية عالية(0.01>p) مع كبر حجم الجُريبة. إنخفض بشكل عالي المعنوية(0.01>p) مُعدل مُستوى البوتاسيوم ولجميع الفصول مع زيادة حجم الجُريبة. وعلى العكس إزداد وبشكل عالي المعنوية(0.01>p) مُعدل مُستوى الكالسيوم وللفصول الأربعة مع كبر حجم الجريبة .

Abstract

This study was conducted at the poultry farm for department of Animal Resource, College of Agriculture at University of Baghdad during the period from 20/10/2013 to 28/3/2014. The aim of this study was investigator the effect of dietary supplementation with different level of lycopene on some semen traits for ganders. A total of 24 male of local geese, two years old were used in this study. The geese were randomly distributed in to four treatments groups, each group consisted of 6 birds. Birds were fed during the whole period on diet contain 15.2 % crude protein and 2927.3 Kcal metabolic energy / kg. Lycopene was added to the diets of birds at the beginning till the end of experiment period. The birds were reared in single separated cages during the experiment period. groups were as following: Treatment 1 (T0) birds fed diet without any addition of lycopene (control group) , Treatment 2 (T300) birds fed diet supplemented with 300 mg lycopene / Kg of diet, Treatment 3(T600) birds fed diet supplemented with 600 mg lycopene / Kg of diet, Treatment 4(T900) birds fed diet supplemented with 900mg lycopene / Kg of diet.
Results revealed that dietary supplementation with different levels of lycopene resulted in:
Significant improvement regarding semen traits like ejaculate volume, individual motility, mass motility, sperm concentrations, percentage of dead spermatozoa, deformation spermatozoa ratio and spermatocrit .

اجريت هذه الدراسة في حقل الطيور الداجنة التابع لقسم الثروه الحيوانية في كلية الزراعة / جامعة بغداد واستمرت التجربة الحقلية للمدة من 20 / 10 /2013 ولغاية 28 / 3 / 2014. لدراسة تاثير اضافة مستويات مختلفة من الليكوبين (Lycopene) الى العليقة على بعض الصفات السائل المنوي لذكور الوز المحلي. استعمل في التجربة 24 ذكر من الوز المحلي وبعمرسنتان. وزعت الذكور عشوائيا على اربع معاملات, وبواقع 6 ذكور لكل معاملة. غذيت الطيور تغذية حرة على عليقة موحدة طوال مدة التربية تحتوي على 15.2% بروتين خام و 2927.3 كيلو سعرة طاقة ممثلة /لكل كغم علف. اضيف الليكوبين الى العليقة بثلاث تراكيز هي 300 و 600 و 900 ملغم / كغم علف لتمثل المعاملات T300 و T600 و T900على التوالي, بينما بقيت معاملة السيطرة (T0) بدون اي اضافة اذ اعتبرت معاملة سيطرة.
اشارت النتائج الى ان اضافة الليكوبين الى علائق الوز ادت الى :
تحسن معنوي في صفات السائل المنوي للمعاملات المضاف اليها الليكوبين والتي شملت T300و T600 و T900 في حجم القذفة والحركة الفردية والجماعية للنطف و النسبة المئوية للنطف الميتة والمشوهة وتركيز النطف وعامل نوعية السائل المنوي,مقارنةً بمعاملة السيطرة وحققت المعاملة T900 افضل نتيجة مقارنةً بمعاملات الليكوبين الاخرى.

Abstract

The importance of the present study was in the haematological and biochemical evaluation of haemoglobin in beta - thalassemia patients in holy Kerbala Governorate , A total of 36 blood samples were collected from beta - thalassemia major patients and 20 samples from beta - thalassemia intermedia patients from Al-Hussein medical city in Kerbala and compared with 20 samples from apparently healthy control group.
The blood groups for all studied samples were determined , and the correlation between the blood groups and the phenotypic pattern of the disease was studied . The results revealed that there was significant statistical correlation between beta - thalassemia major and blood groups B&O; and between beta- thalassemia intermedia & blood group A.
The complete blood picture for all samples were determined including (RBC count ,WBC count ,blood platelet count, hematocrit (HCT), Mean cell volume(MCV) , Mean cell hemoglobin(MCH) and Mean cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) .
The results revealed significant statistical differences between patients groups and apparently healthy individuals for all studied parameters except WBC counts.
The concentrations of Hb were determined,and the quantative and qualitative analyses of Hb using Hb electrophoresis were adopted to determine the Hb types (HbA, HbA2 and HbF) and their percentages,the results showed significant differences between studied groups for these three types of haemoglobin.In thalassemia major HbF (76.06% ± 25.70),HbA (23.55%±19.83) and HbA2 (3.90% ± 2.98) Whereas the results in thalassemia intermedia showed the percentage of HbF (7.16% ± 1.52), HbA(56.58% ± 17.9) and HbA2(7.45% ± 5.48)

تكمن اهمية الدراسة الحالية في تقييم النواحي الدموية المتمثلة بالتقدير الكمي والنوعي لخضاب الدم في مرضى فقر الدم البحري بيتا في محافظة كربلاء المقدسة. جمعت عينات الدم من (36) مريضاʺ مصاباʺ بالإصابة الكبرى و(20) مصاباʺ بالإصابة الوسطى لفقر الدم البحري بيتا من مركز فقر الدم البحري - مدينة الحسين (ع) الطبية في محافظة كربلاء المقدسة و(20) شخصاʺ من الاصحاء ظاهرياʺ , تم تحديد فصائل الدم للعينات المشمولة بالدراسة وتم دراسة العلاقة بين فصائل الدم والنمط المظهري للمرض ووجد ان هناك علاقة دالة احصائيا بين الاصابة الكبرى وفصائل الدم (B,O) وكذلك بين الاصابة الوسطى وفصيلة الدم (A).
درس تحليل مكونات الدم الشامل (Complete blood picture) للعينات المدروسة حيث شمل التحليل (تعداد خلايا الدم الحمراء ,تعداد خلايا الدم البيض , تعداد الصفائح الدموية , Hb, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC) حيث اظهرت النتائج فروق احصائية معنوية بين مجاميع المرضى مقارنة بالأصحاء مظهريا لجميع المعايير المدروسة ماعدا تعداد خلايا الدم البيض.
تم حساب تراكيز خضاب الدم(Hb) , التحليل الكمي والنوعي لخضاب الدم باستخدام الترحيل الكهربائي لخضاب الدم لتحديد انواعه (HbF,HbA2 , HbA ) والنسب المئوية لها وتم الكشف عن فروق معنوية بين المجاميع المدروسة في الانواع الثلاثة المذكورة أنفا لخضاب الدم وكانت :- في الاصابة الكبرى HbF (76.06% ± 25.70) وHbA (19.83% ± 23.55) و HbA2 (3.90% ± 2.98) بينما اظهرت النتائج في الاصابة الوسطى ان نسبة HbF (7.16% ± 1.52) وHbA ((56.58% ± 17.9 وHbA2 ((7.45% ± 5.48.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of dust air in some physiological parameters (Red blood cell counts RBC, Hemoglobin determination Hb, Packet cell PCV, Platelets PLT, Mean corpuscles volume MCV, Mean corpuscles hemoglobin MCH, Mean corpuscles hemoglobin concentration MCHC, White blood cell counts WBC, Lymphocyte , Granulocyte, Monocyte ,Free Iron Fe, Copper Cu, Lead Pb,Cadmium Cd) and estimated the concentration of heavy metals in sample of soil particles which collected from street dust from services and dwelling street in the second municipal sector in Karbala city.
Twenty adult males rats were randomly divided into two groups (10/group) for one and two months, the first group was served as control group , second group was exposed to dust air pollution , and killed five animals randomly after thirty days ,and other five animals continued until the end of the experiment after sixty days .The results of this study were:-
Showed significant increase(P≤0.05)in RBC,Hb,PCV,PLT.when compared with control group.
Showed significant decrease(P≤0.05) in MCV and non significant decrease was observed in MCH in one and two months exposure ,and Showed significant increase (P≤0.05)in MCHC after sixty days. when compared with control group.
Significant increase (P≤0.05) was observed in WBC, Lymphocyte, Granulocyte, Monocyte, after thirty days and Showed significant decrease(P≤0.05) WBC, Lymphocyte, and non significant decrease was observed in Granulocyte, Monocyte. In compare with control group.
significant decrease(P≤0.05) in Fe, Cu, levels and significant increase(P≤0.05) in Pb, Cd levels in blood serum for one and two months exposure when compared with control group.
After dust sample analysed find (Pb, Fe, Cd,Cu) and other elements determined by X-Ray Fulorescence .

أجريت الدراسة الحالية لمعرفة تأثير غبار الهواء في بعض المعايير الفسلجية : أعداد كريات الدم الحمراء, وتركيز الهيموكلوبين , وحجم مكداس الدم , وأعداد الصفائح الدموية , ومعدل حجم كرية الدم الحمراء ومعدل محتوى هيموكلوبين كرية الدم الحمراء , ومعدل تركيز هيموكلوبين كرية الدم الحمراء , وأعداد كريات الدم البيض , والخلايا اللمفاوية , والوحيدة والحبيبية, ومستوى الرصاص , والكادميوم والحديد والنحاس في مصل الدم . وقدر مستوى تواجد العناصر الثقيلة في عينة غبار الأرصفة التي جمعت من أرصفة الشوارع الخدمية والسكنية ضمن القطاع البلدي الثاني في محافظة كربلاء .
قسم عشوائيا 20 ذكر من الجرذان البيضاء , تراوحت أعمارها بين 5- 6أشهر ، و أوزانها بين 250-300 غرام , إلى مجموعتين بواقع 10/ مجموعة ولمدتي شهر وشهرين , اعتبرت المجموعة الأولى كمجموعة سيطرة والمجموعة الثانية عرضة للغبار تم تشريح 5 حيوانات منها عشوائيا بعد مضي 30 يوما على التجربة , و 5 حيوانات استمر تعريضها للغبار لحين نهاية التجربة بعد مضي 60 يوما .
وجاءت نتائج الدراسة كما يلي :-
حصول ارتفاع معنوي (p≤0.05) في (أعداد كريات الدم الحمراء وتركيز الهيموكلوبين وحجم مكداس الدم وأعداد الصفائح الدموية) ولكلا مدتي الدراسة مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة .
وجود انخفاض معنوي (p≤0.05) في (معدل حجم كرية الدم الحمراء), و انخفاض غير معنوي في (معدل محتوى هيموكلوبين كرية الدم الحمراء) لكلا مدتي الدراسة , وارتفاع معنوي (p≤0.05) في (معدل تركيز هيموكلوبين كرية الدم الحمراء) بعد تعريض الحيوانات للغبار لمدة 60 يوم مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة .

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of dust air in some physiological parameters (Red blood cell counts RBC, Hemoglobin determination Hb, Packet cell PCV, Platelets PLT, Mean corpuscles volume MCV, Mean corpuscles hemoglobin MCH, Mean corpuscles hemoglobin concentration MCHC, White blood cell counts WBC, Lymphocyte , Granulocyte, Monocyte ,Free Iron Fe, Copper Cu, Lead Pb,Cadmium Cd) and estimated the concentration of heavy metals in sample of soil particles which collected from street dust from services and dwelling street in the second municipal sector in Karbala city.
Twenty adult males rats were randomly divided into two groups (10/group) for one and two months, the first group was served as control group , second group was exposed to dust air pollution , and killed five animals randomly after thirty days ,and other five animals continued until the end of the experiment after sixty days .The results of this study were:-
Showed significant increase(P≤0.05)in RBC,Hb,PCV,PLT.when compared with control group.
Showed significant decrease(P≤0.05) in MCV and non significant decrease was observed in MCH in one and two months exposure ,and Showed significant increase (P≤0.05)in MCHC after sixty days. when compared with control group.
Significant increase (P≤0.05) was observed in WBC, Lymphocyte, Granulocyte, Monocyte, after thirty days and Showed significant decrease(P≤0.05) WBC, Lymphocyte, and non significant decrease was observed in Granulocyte, Monocyte. In compare with control group.
significant decrease(P≤0.05) in Fe, Cu, levels and significant increase(P≤0.05) in Pb, Cd levels in blood serum for one and two months exposure when compared with control group.

أجريت الدراسة الحالية لمعرفة تأثير غبار الهواء في بعض المعايير الفسلجية : أعداد كريات الدم الحمراء, وتركيز الهيموكلوبين , وحجم مكداس الدم , وأعداد الصفائح الدموية , ومعدل حجم كرية الدم الحمراء ومعدل محتوى هيموكلوبين كرية الدم الحمراء , ومعدل تركيز هيموكلوبين كرية الدم الحمراء , وأعداد كريات الدم البيض , والخلايا اللمفاوية , والوحيدة والحبيبية, ومستوى الرصاص , والكادميوم والحديد والنحاس في مصل الدم . وقدر مستوى تواجد العناصر الثقيلة في عينة غبار الأرصفة التي جمعت من أرصفة الشوارع الخدمية والسكنية ضمن القطاع البلدي الثاني في محافظة كربلاء .
قسم عشوائيا 20 ذكر من الجرذان البيضاء , تراوحت أعمارها بين 5- 6أشهر ، و أوزانها بين 250-300 غرام , إلى مجموعتين بواقع 10/ مجموعة ولمدتي شهر وشهرين , اعتبرت المجموعة الأولى كمجموعة سيطرة والمجموعة الثانية عرضة للغبار تم تشريح 5 حيوانات منها عشوائيا بعد مضي 30 يوما على التجربة , و 5 حيوانات استمر تعريضها للغبار لحين نهاية التجربة بعد مضي 60 يوما .
وجاءت نتائج الدراسة كما يلي :-

Abstract

The aim of this study was to estimate the some metabolites composition of ovarian follicular fluid from different sized follicles and it's relationship with follicular size in local buffaloes. Ovaries were collected (80 ovary) from 40 non-pregnant female buffaloes which slaughtered at abattoirs of province of Babylon during the period from March to August 2014. The ovaries were transported to the laboratory within 2 hours post slaughter. Follicular fluid was aspirited from small (3-5mm), medium (6-10mm) and large (11-20mm) follicles and stored at -5ºC prior to assay. The follicular fluid samples were analyzed for glucose, total protein, triglycerides and total cholesterol, , and, using commercially available kits. The result showed that the mean concentration of cholesterol and glucose in follicular fluid of large follicles were significantly higher (P<0.05) than the follicular fluid in small follicles. While the mean concentration of triglycerides and total protein in ovarian follicular fluid of large follicles were significantly lower (P<0.05) than follicular fluid in small follicles.

هدف هذه الدراسة لتقدير بعض المركبات الأيضية للسائل الجريبي المبيضي من جريبات مختلفة الأحجام وعلاقتها بحجم الجريبة في الجاموس المحلي . جُمعت المبايض (80) مبيض من (40) أنثى جاموس غير حامل والتي ذبحت في مجازر محافظة بابل للفترة من آذار إلى آب 2014. نُقلت المبايض إلى المختبر خلال ساعتين بعد الذبح. سُحب السائل الجريبي من الجريبات الصغيرة (5-3 ملم) ، الجريبات المتوسطة (10-6 ملم) والجريبات الكبيرة (20-11 ملم)، وخُزن بدرجة (5-) درجة مئوية قبل التحليل. حُللت عينات السائل الجريبي لتقدير الكلوكوز و البروتين الكلي والدهون الثلاثية والكوليستيرول الكلي ، و باستعمال العدة التجارية الجاهزة. بينت النتائج أرتفاع معدل تركيز الكوليستيرول الكلي والكلوكوز معنوياً (P<0.05) في السائل الجريبي المبيضي للجريبات الكبيرة عن السائل الجريبي الموجود في الجريبات الصغيرة، بينما أنخفض معنوياً (P<0.05) معدل تركيز الدهون الثلاثية والبروتين الكلي في السائل الجريبي المبيضي للجريبات الكبيرة عن الموجود في الجريبات الصغيرة.

الملخص:
اجريت هذه الدراسة في حقل الطيور الداجنة التابع لقسم الثروه الحيوانية في كلية الزراعة / جامعة بغداد واستمرت التجربة الحقلية للمدة من 20 / 10 /2013 ولغاية 28 / 3 / 2014. لدراسة تاثير اضافة مستويات مختلفة من الليكوبين Lycopene الى العليقة على بعض الصفات الكيموحيوية في مصل دم ذكورالوز المحلي. استعمل في التجربة 24 ذكر من الوز المحلي وبعمر 2 سنه. اسكنت الطيور في قاعة التجربة المتضمنة اقفاص سلكية شبكية. وزعت االذكور عشوائيا على اربع معاملات, وبواقع 6 ذكور لكل معاملة. غذيت الطيور تغذية حرة على عليقة موحدة طوال مدة التربية تحتوي على %15.2 بروتين خام و 2927.3 كيلو سعرة طاقة ممثلة /لكل كغم علف. اضيف الليكوبين الى العليقة بثلاث تراكيز هي 900 و 600 و 300 ملغم / كغم علف لتمثل المعاملات T900 و T600 و T300على التتالي, بينما بقيت المعاملة T0 بدون اي اضافة اذ اعتبرت معاملة سيطرة.
اشارت النتائج الى ان اضافة الليكوبين الى علائق الوز ادت الى :
تحسن معنوي في الصفات الكيميائية لمصل الدم في ذكور الوز المحلي والتي شملت تركيز الكلوكوز والبروتين والكولسترول والكليسيريدات الثلاثية.

Abstract:
This study was conducted at the poultry farm for department of Animal Resource, College of Agriculture at University of Baghdad during the period from 20/10/2013 to 28/3/2014. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation with different level of lycopene on some serum biochemical traits for males of local geese. A total of 24 local geese males in two years old were used in this study. The geese were randomly distributed in to four treatments groups, each group consisted of 6 birds. Birds were fed during the whole period on diet contain 15.2 % crude protein and 2927.3 Kcal metabolic energy / kg. Lycopene was added to the diets of birds at the beginning till the end of experiment period. The birds were reared in single separated cages during the experiment period. groups were as following: Treatment 1(T0) birds fed diet without any addition of lycopene (control group) , Treatment 2 (T300) birds fed diet supplemented with 300 mg lycopene / Kg of diet ,Treatment 3(T600) birds fed diet supplemented with 600 mg lycopene / Kg of diet, Treatment 4(T900) birds fed diet supplemented with 900mg lycopene/Kg of diet.
Results revealed that dietary supplementation with different levels of lycopene resulted in:
Significant improvement regarding blood serum traits like concentrations of glucose, protein, cholesterol and triglycerides (TG).

Abstract

The laboratory Study on different concentrations of Beauveria bassiana preparations (bio-formulation ) ,Soap and summer oil on the2nd nymphal instar of mealybug P.citri showed that the percentage of cumulative mortality treated with highest concentrations (6g,4g,3ml/L) were reached 46.0, 37.3, 65.7 % respectively. While the percentage were 14.3, 26.7 , 58.7. when the law concentrations ( 4g,2g,2ml /L) were used after 24 days of treatment respectively.However, summer oil used in two concentrations showed significant differences among treatments . The results also show the presence of significant differences between the high and law concentration to each substance was used. The percentage of cumulative mortalitiy of adult treatments with highest conc. ( 6g ,4g ,3ml / L ) were reached 31.0 , 46.7 , 68.0 % respectively. While it was 12.3 , 25.0 , 55.3 % when the law conc.were used after 24 days of treatment respectively .Also the summer oil showed significant differences among the three substances with both conc.When the 2nd nymphal instar and adult treated with mixture of three substances of high conc.were significantly higher than other treatments,where the percentage of cumulative mortalitiy were 91.3, 73.3 % after24days of treatment respectively.

اوضحت الدراسة المختبرية تأثيرالتراكيز المختلفة للمستحضر الحيوي للفطرBeauveria bassiana ومسحوق الغسيل واالزيت الصيفي في الطور الحوري الثاني لبق الحمضيات الدقيقي Planococcus citri . أذ بلغت نسب القتل التراكمي 46.0 ، 37.3 , % 65.7 للتراكيز العالية (6 غم,4 غم و3 مل/ لتر) وعلى التوالي ، بينما بلغت نسب القتل التراكمي 14.3 ، 26.7 ، 58.7 % للتراكيز الواطئة ( 4 غم,2 غم و2 مل / لتر ) على التوالي بعد 24 يوماً من المعاملة ، أذ تفوق الزيت الصيفي بفروق أحصائية واضحة بين المواد الثلاثة المستخدمة وبكلا التركيزين العالي والواطئ،كما بينت النتائج وجود فروق أحصائية بين التركيزين لكل من المواد المستخدمة . أما تأثيرها في دور البالغات فقد بلغت نسب القتل التراكمي للتراكيز العالية 31.0 ، 46.7 , 68.0% على التوالي ، فيما بلغت نسب القتل التراكمي 12.3 ، 25.0 ، 55.3 % للتراكيز الواطئة منها وعلى التوالي بعد 24 يوماً من المعاملة ، كذلك تفوق الزيت الصيفي بفروق أحصائية واضحة عن المواد الاخرى المستخدمة وبكلا التركيزين ،كما بينت النتائج وجود فروق أحصائية في نسب قتل التركيز العالي والواطئ لكل مادة من المواد الثلاثة. وتفوقت معاملة خليط المواد الثلاثة بتراكيزها العالية وبفروق أحصائية واضحة على بقية المعاملات في معاملة الطور الحوري الثاني والبالغات وبنسب قتل بلغت 91.3, 73.3% وعلى التوالي بعد 24 يوماً من المعاملة

Abstract

This study was conducted in private nursery in Baghdad governorate during the growing season of 2013 –2014 to study the effect of three concentrations of GA3 ( 0 , 100 and 200 mg.l-1 ) and three concentrations of liquorices extract ( 0 , 2 and 4 g.l-1 ) and their interactions on growth of fenugreek plant ( Indian Varity ).
This experiment was conducted in as a factorial experiment , Complete Randomized Block Design ( R.C.B.D.) with three replicates. Results indicated that plants treated with concentrations of 100 mg.l-1 GA3 and 4 g.l-1 liquorices extract and their interactions showed the highest values of all measured parameters. Significantly increased dry weight, pod number and length , fresh weight of pods , number of seeds / pod and number of seeds in plant compared with control plants .

نفذت تجربة أصص في احد المشاتل الخاصة في محافظة بغداد ( مدينة الحرية ) في موسم النمو 2014 / 2013 لدراسة تأثير الرش بثلاثة تراكيز من حامض الجبرليك هي ( 0 و 100 و200 ملغم . لتر¬-1 ) وثلاثة تراكيز من مستخلص عرق السوس هي ( 0 و 2 و 4 غم . لتر¬-1 ) والتداخل بينهما في نمو نبات الحلبة ( الصنف الهندي ) . نفذت التجربة باعتبارها تجربة عاملية ضمن التصميم العشوائي الكامل بثلاث مكررات .
أشارت النتائج إلى تفوق النباتات المعاملة بـ 100 ملغم . لتر¬-1 حامض الجبرليك مع 4 غم . لتر¬-1 مستخلص عرق السوس والتداخلات بينهما في إعطائها أعلى القيم للصفات المدروسة ، إذ ازداد الوزن الجاف للمجموع الخضري وعدد القرنات وطولها والوزن الطري للقرنة وعدد البذور في القرنة وفي النبات معنويا مقارنة مع النباتات غير المعاملة التي أعطت اقل القيم .

Abstract

The light weigh concrete (Thermiston) have wide uses in the recent building and structures . Mixing (Cement , lime , Sand) together with Aluminum powder have been create the thermiston material.
This paper study to find out the impact of the fineness of sand on both of the density and the compressive strength for the thermiston material . this study was used six degree of sand (48 , 52 , 58 , 60 , 64 , 68) to get (36) samples which crated a cubical shape (100×100×100) mm3 ، six samples from each degree.
The laboratory examination indicated that the density is between (0.69 - 0.75) g /cm3 and the compressive strength is between (0.40 - 8.21) N /mm2 .
The final results ensured that There is no effect for the finesse of sand on thermistons density , but there is effect on compressive strength , whenever more finesse degree of sand more compressive strength.

تعتبر الخرسانة الخفيفة (الثرمستون) من المواد الشائعة الاستخدام في بناء القواطع في مختلف أنواع الأبنية والمنشآت الحديثة. يتكون هذا النوع من الخرسانة من خلط نسب مختلفة من السمنت والنورة والرمل ومسحوق الألمنيوم.
تضمن البحث دراسة تأثير درجة نعومة الرمل المستخدم كماده أولية في انتاج الثرمستون على كثافته ومقاومته للانضغاط ، حيث تم استخدام ستة درجات نعومة للرمل هي (48,52,58,60,64,68)% لتكوين ستة خلطات ثرمستونية ، ومنها تم تحضير (36) نموذج على شكل مكعب بأبعاد (100×100×100) ملم3، ستة نماذج لكل درجة نعومة.
فحوصات مختبرية خاصة اجريت على المكعبات الثرمستونية فأعطت كثافه تراوحت ما بين(0.759–0.692) غم/سم3 ومقاومته انضغاط تراوحت بين(8.21– 0.40) نيوتن/ملم2 .
بينت النتائج بان كثافة الثرمستون لا تتأثر بدرجة نعومة الرمل ولكن كان التأثير كبير على مقاومة الانضغاط ، حيث كانت العلاقة طردية ، كلما زادة درجة نعومة الرمل زادت مقاومة الانضغاط.

The study aimed to isolate and to diagnose the cause of pathological root rot eggplant from different regions in the province of Karbala and disclosure of its Isolates nurse using cress seeds . and evaluate the efficiency of the chemical pesticide Beltanol factor forcing SA bio fungus T.harzianum to combat the pathogen under conditions of the plastic house and showed insulation results laboratory and the presence of pathogens Rhizoctonia solani and Fusarium solani in the roots of eggplant plants. have fungus F. solani was repeated in all regions surveyed either fungus R.solani has appeared in isolates regions Albahadria and Sharia and showed the estimated test pathogenicity results beyond isolated Albahadria area in the events of the highest percentage reduction of germination in cress seeds, amounting to 24.44% compared to the treatment of the comparison, which was the percentage of germination by 93.33%, followed by isolation of Sharia area and isolation Alaboubiat area as the results showed that the use of chemical pesticide Beltanol concentration of 1 ml / to lie led to the inhibition of the entire fungus F.solani the medium PDA also achieved bio-fungus T.harzianum high ability Tdhadah against fungus F. solani on the medium PDA . The results showed that the plastic house Beltanol pesticide treatment achieved the highest percentage reduction in the severity of the injury as root amounted to 16.66%, followed by treatment of the use of bio-fungus T.harzianum Alsalcelik acid with which the severity of the injury which amounted to 25% and then the treatment of bio fungus which was T. harzianum rate the severity of the injury, then the treatment of 33.33% SA concentration of 1 mmol and the severity of the injury, which was 41.66% compared to the treatment of fungus F. solani alone that the severity of injury was 75%.

هدفت الدراسة الى عزل وتشخيص مسبب مرض تعفن جذور الباذنجان من مناطق مختلفة في محافظة كربلاء والكشف عن عزلاته الممرضة باستعمال بذور الرشاد وتقييم كفاءة المبيد الكيميائي Beltanol وعامل الاستحثاث SA والفطر الاحيائي T.harzianum لمكافحة المسبب المرضي تحت ظروف البيت البلاستيكي واظهرت نتائج العزل المختبري وجود الفطرين Rhizoctonia solani و Fusarium solani في جذور نباتات الباذنجان وقد تكرر الفطر F. solaniفي جميع المناطق التي شملتها الدراسة اما الفطر R.solani فقد ظهر في عزلات منطقتي البهادرية والشريعة وبينت نتائج اختبار المقدرة الامراضية تفوق عزلة منطقة البهادرية في احداث اعلى نسبة خفض انبات في بذور الرشاد اذ بلغت 24.44% قياسا بمعاملة المقارنة التي كانت نسبة الانبات فيها 93.33% تلتها عزلة منطقة الشريعة ثم عزلة منطقة البوبيات كما واوضحت النتائج ان استعمال المبيد الكيميائي Beltanol بتركيز 1مل/لترقد ادى الى تثبيط الفطر F.solani بالكامل على الوسط PDA كما وحقق الفطر الاحيائي T.harzianum مقدرة تضادية عالية ضد الفطر F. solani على الوسط الزرعي PDA. وبينت نتائج البيت البلاستيكي ان معاملة مبيد Beltanol حققت اعلى نسبة خفض في شدة اصابة المجموع الجذري اذ بلغت 16.66% تلتها معاملة استخدام الفطر الاحيائي T.harzianum مع حامض السالسليك رشاً التي بلغت شدة الاصابة فيها 25% ثم معاملة الفطر الاحيائي harzianum T. التي كان معدل شدة الاصابة فيها 33.33 % ثم معاملة SA بتركيز 1مليمول رشاً والتي كانت شدة الاصابة فيها 41.66% قياسا بمعاملة الفطر F. solani لوحدهُ التي بلغت شدة الاصابة فيها75 %.

Abstract

Stydy in this research some of physical characterristics (bulk density , volume shrinkage , apparent porosity , water absorption , absorption , transmission , absorbance coefficient, extinct coefficient, refractive index , real and imaginary part of dielectric constant) for different percentages from Iraqi bentonite clay as a filler material for polystyrene polymer . Bentonite clay was prepared as a powder for partical size (75µm) after that surfactant of bentonite have been done on them by using poly vinyl alcohol and hybrid by adding quarternary ammonium compound to contract (hybrid clay) able to react with dissolved polystyrene in toluene.
Experimentally, it was found through the measurement for samples , increasing of bentonite percentage lead to increasing of (bulk density , volume shrinkage) . also increasing of bentonite percentage lead to decreasing of (apparent porosity , water absorption) .
The optical properties it was found that the values of the transmission and absorption coefficient for the prepared samples hare increased where as values the other optical properties hare decreased for polymer composite .

تم في هذا البحث دراسة بعض الخصائص الفيزيائية (الكثافة الحجمية , التقلص الحجمي , المسامية المفتوحة , امتصاصية الماء,الامتصاصية , النفاذية , معامل الامتصاص , معامل انكسار , معامل خمود والجزء الحقيقي والخيالي لثابت العزل) لتراكيز مختلفة من دقائق البنتونايت العراقي كمادة عضوية لبوليمر البولي ستايرين حيث حضر مسحوق البنتونايت ذو حجم حبيبي (75 µm) ثم عولج بمادة بولي فاينيل الكحول ومن ثم تم تهجينها باضافة مركب الامونيوم الرباعي لتكوين (طين مهجن) قادر على التفاعل مع البولي ستايرين المذاب في التلوين .
وجد عمليا من خلال القياسات ان قيم (الكثافة الحجمية , التقلص الحجمي) للنماذج تزداد مع زيادة نسبة البنتونايت المضافة . وقيست قيم (امتصاصية الماء , المسامية المفتوحة) فقد قلت بزيادة نسبة البنتونايت المضاف . اما الخواص البصرية فتزداد قيمتها كالنفاذية ومعامل الامتصاص للعينات المحضرة اما بعض الخواص البصرية المتبقية فتقل قيمها للمتراكب البوليمري .

Abstract

The research aims to scan and diagnose parasites that infect pupa houseflies Musca domestica L. in some areas of the province of Karbala Governorate for the duration of the first of December 2013 until the end of June 2014 in each of the Husseiniya region , Al-Hur, Khan Al-Robaa , Alsoadh and Sharia.The samples were collected from pupa houseflies from poultry waste and piles of accumulated waste and was putting all pupa within the gelatin capsule until the its emergence for adult parasites, and classified as a external parasite (ectoparaste), taxonomic keys will designed to diagnosis.A completely adult parasites were described in this study to all parts of the body morphometric through figure and illustrations. Four Species from within three Genous were recorded during this study and they were: Muscidifurax raptor, Nasonia vitripennis, Spalangia endius, Spalangia nigroaenea belonging to the family pteromalidae: Hymenoptera Order. The results showed that the highest value of the degree distribution of species members (Evenness) was Spalangia endius, and amounting to (0.60), while the lowest value reached to (0.13) in the Nasonia vitripennis, and the total percentage of parasitism was 7%. The results showed that the highest value for the ratio of the availability of the species (Richness) reached at 1.6% in the Khan Al-Robaa region. The lowest value 0.83% was recorded in Husseiniay and Alsoadh regions.

هدف البحث الى مسح وتشخيص الطفيليات التي تصيب عذارى الذباب المنزلي Musca domestica L. في بعض مناطق محافظة كربلاء للمدة من الاول من كانون الاول 2013 وحتى نهاية حزيران 2014 في كل من ناحية الحسينية و الحر ومنطقة خان الربع والسوادة والشريعة. جمعت عينات من عذارى الذباب المنزلي من فضلات الدواجن واكوام النفايات المتراكمة وتم وضع كل عذراء داخل كبسولة جيلاتينية لحين بزوغها للحصول على بالغات الطفيليات اذ تعد خارجية التطفل ectoparaste)), صممت مفاتيح تصنيفية للتشخيص, وفي هذه الدراسة تم وصف بالغات الطفيليات بشكل كامل لجميع اجزاء الجسم المظهرية من خلال الاشكال والصور التوضيحية. وتم خلال هذه الدراسة تسجيل اربع انواع تقع ضمن ثلاثة اجناس وهي:Muscidifurax raptor, Nasonia vitripennis, Spalangia endius, Spalangia nigroaenea تعود الى عائلة pteromalidae ورتبة غشائية الاجنحة. بينت النتائج ان اعلى قيمة لدرجة توزيع أفراد الأنواع الـ Evenness) ) كانت للنوع Spalangia endius اذ بلغت 0.60)) في حين اقل قيمة بلغت 0.13) ) كانت للنوع Nasonia vitripennis , وان النسبة المئوية الكلية للتطفل كانت %7 . كما اوضحت النتائج ان اعلى قيمة لنسبة توافر الانواع (Richness) بلغ 1.6% في منطقة خان الربع اما اقل قيمة فكانت متساوية بين منطقتي الحسينية والسوادة والتي بلغت 0.83 % .

Abstract

A study was conducted at the Department of Plant Protection-University of Karbala to isolate and identify of the fungi associated with house fly (Musca domestica L). Results showed that six fungi belonged to four genera. The Aspergillus niger fungus gave the highest presence that was reached to 39.06% and 55.55%, among the other fungi, in Karbala and Thi-qar provinces, respectively, followed by the other fungi Aspergillus flavus ، Penicillium sp، Entomophthora sp ، Mucor sp ،and Aspergillus terreus was 23.43,14.06,9.37,7.18,6.25%,respectively in the isolates obtained from Karbala province. While, the isolates obtained from Thi-qar province gave the percentages of the Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus (55.55,44.44%) respectively .The study showed that the percentage of mortality of the adults house fly reached to 82.4% when spraied with fungal filterate of Aspergillus niger and Entomophthora sp in Karbala province , and there was no different after 72 hours from the treatment , while Aspergillus niger that isolated from Thi-qar provinces caused mortality of the adults house fly 77.3% after 72 hours from the treatment.

اجريت هذه الدراسة في كلية الزراعة جامعة كربلاء، وتضمنت عزل و تشخيص الفطريات المرافقة للذبابة المنزلية اذ شخصت ست فطريات تعود الى اربعة اجناس ، اظهرت الدراسة تفوق الفطر Aspergillus niger اذا بلغت نسبة الظهور39.06, 55.55% في محافظتي كربلاء وذي قار على التوالي تلتها الفطريات Aspergillus flavus ، Penicillium sp ، Entomophthora sp ، Mucor sp ، Aspergillus terreus اذا بلغت النسب المئوية للظهور 23.43 و14.06 و 9.37 و 7.81 و 6.25% على التوالي في محافظة كربلاء اما في محافظة ذي قار فكانت النسبة المئوية للظهور لكلا الفطرين Aspergillus niger وAspergillus flavusهي55.55 و 44.44 % على التوالي . اما عن امراضية الفطريات Aspergillus niger و Entomophthora sp اعلى نسبة قتل من الفطريات المعزولة من الذباب المنزلي في كربلاء المقدسة اذا بلغت 82.4 % لكلا الفطرين اذا لم يختلفا عن بعضهما بعد 72 ساعة من المعاملة وان نسبة القتل تزداد بزيادة المدة الزمنية ، اما الفطريات المعزولة من الذباب المنزلي في محافظة ذي قار فحقق الفطر Aspergillus niger نسبة قتل عالية 77.3 % وبنفس المدة الزمنية .

Abstract

The study was conducted in the animal house of Education college,University of Al-Qadisiyah during the month of October in order to study the effect of sodium benzoate on the levels of certain biochemical parameters in adult albino male rats with three months old, The results of the orally treatment of mature albino male rats with three different concentrations of sodium benzoate (50, 100, 200) mg/kg for three different durations( one, two and three)week were showed a significant decrease (P<0.05) in the levels of the thyroid stimulating hormone and thyroxine in both 100 mg/kg (G2) and 200 mg/kg (G3) groups during two weeks duration of treatment also in the 50 mg/kg (G1),G2,and G3 groups during three weeks duration of treatment in comparison with control groups. The comparison between durations of each treatment was shown that the levels of both thyroid stimulating hormone and thyroxine were significantly decreased (P<0.05) during three weeks duration in comparison with one weak duration of treatment in G3 group .

أجريت الدراسة في البيت الحيواني التابع لكلية التربية-جامعة القادسية خلال شهر تشرين الأول لغرض دراسة تأثير بنزوات الصوديوم على مستويات بعض المعايير الكيموحيوية في ذكور الجرذان الألبينو البالغة بعمر ثلاثة أشهر ، بينت النتائج أن معاملة ذكور الجرذان الألبينو البالغة فموياً بثلاث تراكيز مختلفة من بنزوات الصوديوم (50 و 100 و 200 ) ملغم/كغم ولثلاث مدد تجريع هي أسبوع و أسبوعان و ثلاث اسابيع قد أدت الى حصول انخفاض معنوي (P<0.05) في مستوى كل من الهرمون المحفز للدرقية والثايروكسين في كل من مجموعة التجريع بتركيز 100 ملغم/كغم(G2) و مجموعة التجريع بتركيز 200 ملغم/كغم(G3) خلال مدة أسبوعين للمعاملة وكذلك في مجاميع التجريع بتركيز 50ملغم/كغم (G1 ) و G2 وG3 خلال مدة ثلاثة أسابيع للمعاملة مقارنة مع مجاميع السيطرة . وبالمقارنة بين مدد كل معاملة فقد أظهرت مستويات الهرمون المحفز للدرقية والثايروكسين انخفاضاً معنويا(P<0.05) خلال مدة ثلاثة أسابيع للمعاملة بالمقارنة مع مدة أسبوع في المجموعة G3 .

Abstract

The comparison between durations for each treatment was showed that the level of ALT was significantly increased (P<0.05) during two and three weeks of treatment in comparison with on week in the G1,G2 and G3 groups, the level of AST was also increased significantly (P<0.05) during three weeks of treatment in G1and during two and three weeks of treatment in both G2 and G3.The results was also showed a significant increase (P<0.05) in the level of total bilirubin in G1group during one week of treatment and in the G1,G2 and G3 groups during two and three weeks of treatment in comparison with control groups. The comparison between durations was showed that the level of total bilirubin was significantly increased (P<0.05) during three weeks of treatment in G1and during two and three weeks of treatment in both G2 and G3.

أجريت الدراسة في البيت الحيواني التابع لكلية التربية-جامعة القادسية خلال شهر تشرين الأول لغرض دراسة تأثير بنزوات الصوديوم على مستويات بعض المعايير الكيموحيوية في ذكور الجرذان الألبينو البالغة بعمر ثلاثة أشهر ، و أن معاملة ذكور الجرذان الألبينو البالغة فموياً بثلاث تراكيز من بنزوات الصوديوم (50 و 100 و 200 ) ملغم/كغم ولثلاث مدد تجريع هي أسبوع و أسبوعان و ثلاث اسابيع قد أدت إلى حصول ارتفاع معنوي(P<0.05) في مستويات أنزيمي ALT وAST في مجاميع التجريع الثلاثة 50 ملغم/كغم(G1 ) و 100 ملغم/كغم(G2 ) و 200 ملغم/كغم(G3 ) خلال كل مدة من مدد التجربة بالمقارنة مع مجاميع السيطرة. وبالمقارنة بين المدد لكل معاملة فقد أظهر مستوى أنزيم ALT ارتفاعا معنوياَ(P<0.05) خلال المدتين أسبوعين وثلاثة أسابيع للمعاملة مقارنة بمدة أسبوع في المجاميع G1 ،G2 وG3. كما أظهر مستوى أنزيم AST ارتفاعا معنوياَ (P<0.05) خلال المدة ثلاثة أسابيع للمعاملة في G1 وكذلك خلال المدتين أسبوعين وثلاثة أسابيع في كل من G2 وG3 . كما أظهرت النتائج حصول ارتفاع معنوي(P<0.05) في مستوى البيليروبين الكلي في G1 خلال مدة أسبوع للمعاملة وكذلك في المجاميع G1 ،G2 وG3 خلال المدتين أسبوعين وثلاثة أسابيع للمعاملة .وبالمقارنة بين المدد لكل معاملة فقد أظهر مستوى البيليروبين الكلي ارتفاعا َ معنوياَ(P<0.05) خلال مدة ثلاثة أسابيع للمعاملة في G1 وخلال المدتين أسبوعين وثلاثة أسابيع في كل من G2 وG3.

Abstract

The research was conducted to investigate the effect of black seeds powder and oil extracted propoils with their synergestic effect on the level of the antibody titers of Avian influenza (AI) , Infections bronchitis (IB), Newcastle Disease (ND)GD) in broilers.A total of 320 , one day old chicks were used )and Gumobro Diseasein the experiment , those chicks were randomly allocated in to 8 equal treatment and each treatment included 2 equal replicates . chickens in all treatments were fed on different rations . the first treatment were fed on an ordinary ration with out any addition ( control ) where as , T2, T3 and T4 were fed on the same ordinary ration aften addition of oil extracted propoils 100 ,200 and 300 mg/ kg for each respectively. T5 were fed on the same ordinary diet after addition of black seeds powder 1% T6 , T7 and T8 were fed on the same diet of T2 ,T3 and T4 respectively after addition of black seeds powder 1% for each of them . Results indicated that synergestic effect of black seeds powder with oil extracted propoils led to a high significant effect (P<0.01) on antibody titers against AI , IB , ND , and GD at 21 and 42 days of chicks ages .

أجري البحث بهدف دراسة تأثير مسحوق الحبة السوداء والمستخلص الزيتي للبروبولس وتأثيرهما التآزري في مستوى المعيار الحجمي للأجسام المضاده الموجهه ضد مرض انفلونزا الطيور ومرض التهاب الشعب الهوائية المعدي ومرض النيوكاسل ومرض الكمبورو في فروج اللحم .
استخدم في البحث 320 فرخاً من افراخ اللحم سلالة روز بعمر يوم واحد غير مجنسة، وزعت الافراخ على ثمان معاملات متساوية وبشكل عشوائي، كل معاملة أحتوت على 40 فرخاً وكل معامله احتوت على مكريين متساويين بعدد الافراخ. غذيت الافراخ في المعاملات الثمانية على علائق مختلفة منذ اليوم الاول من عمر الافراخ فالمعاملة الاولى غذيت على عليقة اعتيادية بدون أي أضافة وعدت كمعاملة سيطرة أما المعاملات الثانية والثالثة والرابعة فقد غذيت على نفس عليقة السيطرة بعد أضافة المستخلص الزيتي للبروبولس لها وبنسب 100، 200و300 ملغم / كغم علف على التوالي . وغذيت الافراخ في المعاملة الخامسة على نفس عليقة المعاملة الاولى ولكن أضيف اليها مسحوق الحبة السوداء بنسبة 1% في حين غذيت الافراخ في المعاملة السادسة والسابعة والثامنة على نفس علائق المعاملات الثانية والثالثة والرابعة على التوالي بعد أضافة مسحوق الحبة السوداء لكل منهما وبنسبة 1% . نتائج البحث اشارت الى التأثير التآزري لمسحوق الحبة السوداء والمستخلص الزيتي للبروبولس وبشكل عالي المعنوية P<0.01)) في مستوى المعيار الحجمي للأجسام المضاده الموجهه ضد مرض انفلونزا الطيور ومرض التهاب الشعب الهوائي المعدي ومرض النيوكاسل ومرض الكمبورو عند 21 و 42 يوماً من عمر الفروج .

Abstract

The current variables of the study has been Interacted , in order to represent the intellectually framework that can be expressed through the following terms (Internal marketing, service quality and their impact on the achievement of customer satisfaction ). The first independent variable "internal marketing"is Included the following variables( the policy of selection and appointment, training and development , publishing marketing information , enabling employees ) , and it has been expressed about the second independent variable " service quality " , through the following dimensions (dependability , responsiveness, the assurance , the confidence , tangibility , Eligibility , understanding the customer , ease to access and the contacts ) , It also has been adopted five indicators for the dependable variable " customer satisfaction " as following (the safety , the obtain information , the choices , listen to the opinion , differentiation in products and services).
Therefore , as a result of the importance of private banks in the process of support and development the national economy , the author performed the practical aspect of study in these banks, and was obtained on the necessary information via questionnaire, which has been used for this purpose and been distributed to the sample which divided into (74) director , workers and (65) customers .

In order to achieve the study goals , has been placed hypothetically scheme , determine the nature of the relationship between the dimensions of independent variables and the dependent variable. Hence , to detect the nature of this relationships , has been suggested several hypotheses , as a form of initial answers , which the study seek to investigate of its validity , The most important as following :
1. There is statistical correlation relationship amongst internal marketing and service quality together with customer satisfaction ;
2. There is significant effect for internal marketing and service quality in customer satisfaction .
This study has reached for a set of conclusions , The most important conclusion is " there is effect of internal marketing and service quality in customer satisfaction for the banks under research " .
Finally , this study ended in a set of recommendations , that related to its current variables , and future studies .

تفاعلت متغيرات البحث الحالية لتمثل اطارا فكريا معبرا عنها ب( التسويق الداخلي وجودة الخدمة وتاثيرهما في تحقيق رضا الزبون) ,واشتمل التسويق الداخلي (المتغير المستقل الاول) على المتغيرات الاتيه (سياسة الاختيار والتعين , التدريب والتطوير ,الحوافز والمكافاءات, نشرالمعلومات التسويقية , تمكين العاملين), وتم التعبير عن جودة الخدمة (المتغير المستقل الثاني)بالابعاد (الاعتمادية, الاستجابة, الثقة والتوكيد, الملموسية, الاهلية, فهم الزبون, سهولة الوصول , الاتصال),وتم اعتماد خمسة مؤشرات لرضا الزبون (المتغير المعتمد) (الامان,الحصول على المعلومات, الاختيار , سماع الرأي, تميز المنتج او الخدمة).
ونظرا لاهمية المصارف الاهلية في دعم وتطوير الاقتصاد الوطني , فقد اجري البحث في هذه المصارف اذ تم الحصول على المعلومات اللازمة للجانب العملي من خلال الاستبانه التي اعتدت لهذا الغرض وزعت على عينة انقسمت الى (74) مدير وعامل و (65) زبون .
ولغرض تحقيق اهداف البحث تم وضع مخططا فرضيا يحدد طبيعة العلاقة بين ابعاد المتغيرين المستقلين والمتغير المعتمد , ومن اجل الكشف عن طبيعة هذه العلاقات فقد تم طرح عدة فرضيات بوصفها اجابات اولية يسعى البحث الى التحقق من مدى صحتها أهمها:-
1- توجد علاقة ارتباط ذات دلالة احصائية بين التسويق الداخلي وجودة الخدمة مجتمعا ورضا الزبون.
2- يوجد تاثير ذو دلالة معنوية للتسويق الداخلي وجودة الخدمة في ورضا الزبون.
وصل البحث الى مجموعة من الاستنتاجات ابرزها يوجد تأثير للتسويق الداخلي وجودة الخدمة في تحقيق رضا الزبون في المصارف المبحوثة.
ثم اختتمت البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات المتعلقة بمتغيراتها الثلاثة, واخرى تتعلق بالدراسات المستقبليه.

Abstract

The study included isolation and identification of pathogenic bacterial which responsible for diarrheal infection to 39 stool samples were collected from children under five years of age suffering from diarrhea attending to education children hospital for of education in the Holy Karbala during the period from May to August 2013, as it was obtained on 39 bacterial isolates from these samples, which have been diagnosed by using differential mediums, biochemical tests and by using Api 20 kits, and appeared that isolates belonging to Escherichia coli (43.58%) and Enterobacter aerogenes (30.76%) are the most common isolates that have been selected to complete the rest of the steps of the study.
A total of ten Lactobacillus spp. isolates have been obtained from different sources such as (Yoghurt ,Whey and Raw milk( ,and only one of them belong to Lactobacillus brevis showed ability to produce the cell free supernatant (biosurfactant) and showed antimicrobial activity against all pathogenic bacterial strains tested .The MIC and Sub-MIC of the cell free supernatant (biosurfactant) extracted from Lactobacillus brevis isolate was determined against studied pathogenic bacteria and the results showed that the MIC of the biosurfactant was 70 mg/ml and Sub-MIC was 60 mg/ml respectively, these results indicates that biosurfactant must be used in high concentration to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria.

تضمنت الدراسة الحالية عزل وتشخيص البكتريا المرضية المسؤولة عن اصابات الأسهال لـ (39) عينة براز جمعت من أطفال دون سن الخامسة من العمر والراقدين في مستشفى الأطفال التعليمي في كربلاء المقدسة خلال الفترة من شهر مايو ولغاية شهر اغسطس لسنة 2013 . اذ تم الحصول على ٣٩ عزلة بكتيرية مرضية من هذه العينات والتي تم تشخيصها بأستخدام الأوساط التفريقية والاختبارات البايوكيميائية وعدة التشخيصApi 20 ، وظهرت ان العزلات العائدة لنوعي الـ (43.58%) Escherichia coli و Enterobacter aerogenes ) 30.76% ) هي العزلات الأكثر شيوعاً لذلك تم أختيارها لأكمال بقية خطوات الدراسة.
تم الحصول على (10) عزلات جرثومية تابعة لبكتريا Lactobacillus من مصادر مختلفة مثل (اللبن الخاثر (اليوگرت), الحليب الخام والشرش ) وقد اظهرت واحدة منها فقط والتي تعود للـ Lactobacillus brevis القابلية العالية على انتاج المشتتات الحيوية .وقد اظهر الراشح الحيوي المستخلص من عزلة Lactobacillus brevis فعالية تثبيطية واضحة ضد نمو العزلات المرضيه قيد الدراسة . كما حدد التركيز المثبط الأدنى MIC)) والتركيز الأدنى منه (Sub-MIC ( للمشتت الحيوي ضد البكتريا المدروسة والتي بلغت 70ملغرام/مللتر , 60 ملغرام/مللتر على التوالي , الشيء الذي يؤكد ضرورة أستخدام المشتت الحيوي لهذه البكتريا بتراكيز عالية لتثبيط نمو الجراثيم الممرضة .

Abstract

The study included isolation and identification of pathogenic bacterial which responsible for diarrheal infection to 39 stool samples were collected from children under five years of age suffering from diarrhea attending to education children hospital for of education in the Holy Karbala during the period from May to August 2013, as it was obtained on 39 bacterial isolates from these samples, which have been diagnosed by using differential mediums, biochemical tests and by using Api 20 kits, and appeared that isolates belonging to Escherichia coli (43.58%) and Enterobacter aerogenes (30.76%) are the most common isolates that have been selected to complete the rest of the steps of the study.
A total of ten Lactobacillus spp. isolates have been obtained from different sources such as (Yoghurt ,Whey and Raw milk( ,and only one of them belong to Lactobacillus brevis showed ability to produce the cell free supernatant (biosurfactant) and showed antimicrobial activity against all pathogenic bacterial strains tested .The MIC and Sub-MIC of the cell free supernatant (biosurfactant) extracted from Lactobacillus brevis isolate was determined against studied pathogenic bacteria and the results showed that the MIC of the biosurfactant was 70 mg/ml and Sub-MIC was 60 mg/ml respectively, these results indicates that biosurfactant must be used in high concentration to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria.

تضمنت الدراسة الحالية عزل وتشخيص البكتريا المرضية المسؤولة عن اصابات الأسهال لـ (39) عينة براز جمعت من أطفال دون سن الخامسة من العمر والراقدين في مستشفى الأطفال التعليمي في كربلاء المقدسة خلال الفترة من شهر مايو ولغاية شهر اغسطس لسنة 2013 . اذ تم الحصول على ٣٩ عزلة بكتيرية مرضية من هذه العينات والتي تم تشخيصها بأستخدام الأوساط التفريقية والاختبارات البايوكيميائية وعدة التشخيصApi 20 ، وظهرت ان العزلات العائدة لنوعي الـ (43.58%) Escherichia coli و Enterobacter aerogenes ) 30.76% ) هي العزلات الأكثر شيوعاً لذلك تم أختيارها لأكمال بقية خطوات الدراسة.

Performance Evaluation of Modified Concrete Layer by Sodium Silicate in Rigid Highway Pavement

Abstract

The using of conventional concrete mix in rigid pavement causes costly layer with high maintenance requirement . It is necessary to use additive materials in pavement construction as modifiers which could improves the performance of concrete layer .
The major objective of this research is to evaluate the mixing a locally additive on performance of concrete layer in rigid pavement by using sulfate-resisting cement (type V) produced in Iraq . The additive represented by soluble Sodium Silicate also known as " water glass " .
Concrete mixture specimen have been prepared with coarse aggregate of maximum size (50)mm and fine aggregate of maximum size (9.5)mm . Soluble Sodium Silicate has been used as an additive with the percentages (5 , 10 , 15) % by weight of cement . The performance of concrete mixture is evaluated using strength tests i.e (compressive and flexural) as well as thermal test (coefficient of thermal expansion) .
Results of using such modified concrete mixture show that compressive strength and modulus of rupture are decreased by (1.14 , 1.06) time at 7 days and increased by (1.17 , 1.16) time at 28 days respectively as compared with control mix . The results of coefficient of thermal expansion are decreased by (1.12) times at 28 days when compared with control mix . However, percent of 10% soluble Sodium Silicate in concrete mix shows better performance of concrete pavement corresponding for both strength and thermal properties . This percentage was adopted for all above mentioned comparison . The use of modified concrete mix has significant effect on the thickness design and joint spacing of main layer in rigid pavement .

Abstract

This Research presents a new study suggesting photonic laser applications. The material which is used olive oil that can be classified as an organic compound having non- linear properties. Such properties are not found in the other materials only by storing the material; it has become possible to be used in the photonic applications where high resolution sample was used of olive oil has wavelength (632 nm) with apower of (2 mw). After taking sample of pure olive oil, the linear optic,a properties such as penetration absorption, emission energies gapanddielectric constant real and imaginary partially (r)&(εi (and study liner refractory coefficient as well also studying property of fluorescence of olive oil and then studying the optic non- linear properties denoted by non- linear refractive coefficient and non- linear absorption coefficient. This is conducted Z-scan technology.

Abstract

This study was conducted at Poultry Farm of Animal Resources Dept. College of Agriculture ,University of Baghdad to investigate the effects of probiotic fermented supplementation on egg quality in Cotornix Japonica (No. 160 female, 24 wk old, period 1/1/2014 to 31/3/2014). The effect of four treatments (0, 25, 50 and75 % probioptic fermented ) , were evenly distributed to 4 groups with two replicates containing (20 birds in each replicate). Increase of egg yolk weight was not significant (P>0.05) in first , second and third week, had significant effect on egg yolk weight from fourth week to eight week (P<0.05). Although addition of probiotic had significant effect (P<0.05) on egg yolk high in 1 , 2 , 4 , 5 , 7 and 8 week, had no significant effect (P>0.05) in 3 , 4 and 6 week, although addition of probiotic had significant effect (P<0.05) on egg albumin weight, the increase of egg albumin weight with increase of probiotic, these were expected which have already been reported. Although addition of probiotic had significant effect (P<0.05) on egg albumin high, the increase of egg albumin high with increase of probiotic. Statistically not significant effect (P>0.05) addition of probiotic on shell weight. Although addition of probiotic had significant effect (P<0.05) on Haugh unit, the increase of Haugh unit with increase of probiotic. Supplementation of probiotic fermented to the diet of quail breeders improved egg quality (yolk , albumin and haugh unit).

Abstract

This study contributes to the understanding of the conjunctive use of surface water and groundwater models of the Jolak basin (in the northern part of Kirkuk city, north Iraq) ,with an area of 400 square-kilometers .
The first stage of this work was to collect a dataset to characterize the surface and groundwater .
Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) and the Groundwater Modeling System(GMS) were adjusted in an interactive manner. In SWAT, a basin to be modeled is divided into multiple sub basins that consist of a homogeneous land use, ground slope, and soil characteristics.
Land use map which was developed by Digital elevation model (DEM), that describes the elevation of any point in a given area at a specific spatial resolution, identifies the deferent classifications of land use. Soil Conservation Service (SCS) curve number method was chosen to estimate the surface runoff. The produced runoff volume was suggested to be stored in the several ponds and conveyed to the underground reservoir in order to use it with conjunction of ground water during drought seasons.
SWAT modeling of the groundwater is extremely simplified, so the Groundwater Model System(GMS) was employed to specifically describe the groundwater processes. This model interpreted the available groundwater levels, which is not possible with the used of SWAT. The study suggested using several wells (which already exist in the study area) to be operate at a constant rate in order to divert the stored surface water in to groundwater.
The annual average runoff overall the basin is estimated to be about 1.5×108 m3. This value is suggested to be conveyed to ground water through exiting pumping wells. The results showed that the ground water levels in basin can be raised with about 2m at the middle of the study area from its present level after the steady state condition is reached.

Abstract

In this paper the nonlinear and linear optical properties of castor oil have been found, using a highly sensitive method known as Z-scan technique, experiment was performed depending on He-Ne laser of wave length (632.8 nm). The first part has been done using a closed aperture placed in front of the detector to measure the nonlinear refractive index of castor oil which is found (-4.5×10-3cm2 /mw) at the employed wavelength. The second part also was done using an open aperture to measure the nonlinear absorption coefficient which was found its value (59.99 cm /mw) ,the linear refractive index was evaluated using a simple technique convergence lens and plane mirror.

Abstract

Due to intensive use of energy, with a decline in natural resources, view of the CFCs damage on ozone layers and an increase in fuel costs, it has become important to find methods of reducing energy consumption and finding alternative energy sources.
Radiant cooling system is a tool used to achieve these benefits, while maintaining acceptable thermal comfort conditions.
The main aim of the present study is to test radiant cooling ceiling system in Iraq climate established in a typical office focusing on occupant’s thermal comfort.
A theoretical model has been developed to predict the panel temperature, the interior surface temperatures of the office and heat output for radiant cooling panel systems.
To validate the theoretical model, an experimental work was performed on radiant panels of, (6.2X4.6X3)m full-scale office room was utilized in Technical Institute of Karbala.
The systems are constructed from 77 plates at a 0.05-mm-thick aluminum sheet with dimensions of (60×60) cm, in which the plates cover whole the ceiling and are cooled with water circulating through (1/2) inch copper tube.
The cooled water achieved from the well that manually drilling near the test room at dimensions are (15) cm in diameter and at (6) m depth.
Ventilation fan with two cooling coils that was used to maintains acceptable indoor air quality by supplying fresh, filtered air.
The study shows, the radiant cooling system can be applied for Iraqi buildings under the tropical climate and that approximately 71% energy saving can be obtained.
As the inside temperature of the walls surface has a great effect on the thermal comfort of persons in the conditioned space, the radiant system succeeded in making the differences between the mean radiant temperature and room air temperature is 2oC and between the room air temperature and radiant surface temperature is 5oC and the values of PMV-PPD were used to examine thermal comfort and found that the use of radiant cooling system is appropriate for creating comfortable indoor conditions.
The study shows also that effective usage of renewable energy sources that provides economic and environmental benefits.
