The present study aimed to evaluate the histopathological lesions in white mice kidneys that appear when
infected with Escherichia coli bacteria orally treatedment in the laboratory and to use Zamzam water for two
terms in two different time periods. This study has been shown that the bacteria E. coli cause major histological
changes .These changes represented by rupture tubules , urinary hemorrhage , and Infelteration of Lymphocyte .
While histological changes in the kidneys of mice treated with Zamzam water showed improvement well where
it was noted that tubules urinary distinct by the thickness of the basement membrane, which is based upon the
epithelial cells of cubic shape and low infelteration lymphocytes and the disappearance of hemorrhage . the
results of the treatment groups for 10 days treated better than for 5 days in both treatment groups

The current study addressed with hormone anti molarin AMH concentration and stimulated follicles FSH
hormones and other reproductive hormones in serum healthy women according to weight blood samples from
women healthy single and married women, were collected. The study is set at Al-Alam Healthy Center and
healthy center of Tikrit for the period from May 2012 to December 2012. The total samples is 200 woman mass
index between of 18.5 Kg/m2
to more than 40 Kg/m2
.
The results showed a significant rise of follicle stimulating hormone FSH concentration for healthy women
according to weight compared with the first mass unit of b (5.18 to 9.24) at the P <0.01 level. The concentration
of ovulation LH hormone showed a significant increase in the last mass unit which is represented with
(40˃Kg/m2
as compared with the other units at P˂0.01 level. The results showed significant differences for
prolactin concentration for healthy women in different mass units at the P <0.01 level . The results showed no
significant differences for the concentration of the hormone anti Molarin AMH for healthy women during
different levels of weight. The results showed no significant differences for the concentration of estrogen for
healthy women during different levels of weight. The results showed a little drop in progesterone concentration
for healthy women during recent mass unit compared with other mass units at the P <0.01 level. The results
showed significant decrease of the ratio of blood cell size and blood Heamoglobin for healthy women during
recent mass unit compared with other mass units at the P <0.01level. We conclude from this research , a
decrease in the concentration of the FSH hormone in the first mass unit and the ratio of the volume of blood
cells and blood hemoglobin in the recent mass unit as compared with the rest mass units and an increase in
the concentration of the hormone LH in the recent mass unit as compared with the rest of the mass units ,while
the concentration of the prolactin hormone is different according to the different weight levels .The
concentration of AMH , estrogen and progesterone hormones has not changed during different weight levels

The present study aimed to evaluate the histopathological lesions in the liver of white mice that appear when

liver had been occurred Separation of endothelial cells from the lining of the central vein , Hemorrhage as well
as bloody congestion, infelteration of inflammatory cells between cells and hepatic necrosis and hepatic cell
degeneration. While histologic changes in the liver of mice treated with Zamzam water showed significant
improvement in terms of the arrangement tapes hepatic and few cases of necrosis , hemorrhage .the results of
treatment totals for the treatment for 10 days better than treated for 5 days in both groups therapeutic

Isolations and identifications of (55) samples from patients with burns infections , of both sexes which their ages
were between (1-60) years in TTH during the period from 1/9/2011 to 1/3/2012 . The results were indicated that
(45) samples showed positive growth with percentage (%81.81) . It was clear according to the diagnosis results
that bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa had the highest proportion of isolation (%37.78), Staphylococcus aureus
(%17.77), Proteus miribilis (%11.11), Escherichia coli (%8.89), each of Serratia marcescens, Klebsiella
pneumoniae and Staphylococcus epidermidis (6.67%), while the least percentage (%4.44) was to Citrobacter
freundii. The effect of cold and phenolic extracts of wheat germinating with the ages (36-48) hour were tested
on some of the bacterial kinds for knowing its activity, after completing several quantitative and qualitative tests
which included carbohydrates proportion (%67.408) ,The proteins (%8.16) , The lipids (%1.5) . Some of mineral
elements were estimated in the wheat germinating extracts. The qualitative tests showed that the germinating
contained terpeniods, Phenolic compounds and glycosides while lacking alkaloids, tannins and resins . All the
extracts prepared in concentration (25, 50, 100, 200) mg/ ml . It was clear that the phenolic extract had high
effect on the bacterial kinds in comparison with the cold water extract at (200) mg/ ml concentration .

The isolates of Sulfolobus were identified depending on Microbiological characteristics as colour , consistency
of colonies , in addition to biochemical characteristics of growing colonies . also the susceptibility of antibiotic
tests, moreover to physiological and molecular characteristics. So two species were obtained : Sulfolobus
acidocaldarius , Sulfolobus solfataricus . The result of antibiotic sensitivity of the species was in dictated their
high resistance to all antibiotics under study , except Sulfolobus acidocaldarius which gave high sensitivity to
Gentamicin . The isolates were indicated good growth at optimum temperature between (37-40)co
, also isolates
of SulfolobusSPP.gave growth at rang of temperature between (35-70) Co
. When we cultivated the isolates at
different level of PH the SulfolobusSPP. Were grown at PH between (3-7). And the best at (3-4). And when the
isolates were cultivated at different level of sodium chloride , the species of SulfolobusSPP. Gave best growth at
(2-3%) of NaCL. The PCR technique were done based on amplification of genomic DNA using special primer
for Archaeal species which indicated distinct bands with molecular weight of 930-950 bp when they
electrophrized on agaros gel .

The study included collection of 80 blood samples from aborted women , aged between 16-54 years attended the
general Fallujah hospital for the prevalence of the parasite Toxoplasma gondii in Fallujah city-AL-Anbar
province by two methods: direct latex agglutination (LAT) and Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
and measurement of antibodies concentration of IgM, IgG, IgE, IgA, Complements C3, C4, some immunological
features of cells The results showed that the percentage of total infection in accordance with age groups in the
study (16-25),(26-35),(36-45) by LAT were 43.75%, 40.90%, 46.15% 42.11% respectively and with ELISA test
32.50%, 31.82%, 35.90%, 32.50% respectively, the percentage of total, acute infection by ELISA-IgM in
accordance with age groups were 10%, 13.64%, 12.82%, 0% whereas total, chronic infection by ELISA-IgG
were 22.50%, 18.18%, 23.08%, 26.31% respectively. The measurement of antibodies levels of IgG, IgM, IgE by
ELISA, IgA and complements C3, C4 by single radial immuno diffusion showed a significant increase in the
average antibodies levels of specific IgM, IgG against T. gondii whereas no significant increase in the average
antibody level of IgE, IgA and complement C3,C4 in the aborted women in comparison to control . The
infection with T. gondii showed significant difference in the activity of Polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs)
in the phagocytosis of candida yeast and reduction of Nitroblue tetrazolium, whereas little effect on viability of
PMNs isolated from aborted women of all age groups in comparison to control

The study was conducted to isolate and identify Lactic acid bacteria from dairy products, which were later used
as probiotic and determination its oral adminstration with isolated bacteria for 7 days as a challenge to
Salmonella enterica serovar typhimurium (STM) infection and compairing that with ciprofloxacin as an
antibiotic . Ten isolate were isolated which belongs to Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus.
Two species of isolated Lactobacillus L. bulgaricaus and L. delbrueckii were used as a probiotics , feeding
single oral dose of one daily numbers of 1.3 × 108
cells / ml, while rat pathogenic isolates bacteria (STM) and the
same numbers, and compared with antibiotic with two concentration 0.5 and 1.0 mg / ml.
The results showed after first day from feeding the positive impact of the two types of bacteria effective in the
treatment of Salmonella infection, butter than the antibiotic suggestion the efficiency of the using of these types
as probiotic

The objective of this study was to evaluate the activity of the liver enzymes and other Biochemical changes in
the Blood serum of patients with renal failure , and hepatitis virus infection B,C,and (C&B) in the Al-kadhimyah
teaching hospital . (300) blood samples collected (50) sample for each groups: renal failure patients (28 male
and 22 female) , hepatitis B patients (35 male and 15 female) , hepatitis C patients ( 26 male and 24 female) ,
with renal failure and hepatitis C&B patients (31 male and 19 female), with renal failure and hepatitis B patients
(30 male and 20 female) , and with renal failure and hepatitis C patients (33 male and 17 female) , compared
with (50) a control (count) (25 male and 25 female) . the results showed significant rise in the alkaline
phosphatase in patients (renal failure, renal failure and hepatitis B, and renal failure and hepatitis C) , and there
was significant increased in the liver enzymes activity AST, ALT, in all patients Hepatitis infection C,B, and
(C&B) when compared with the control group , but albumin concentration decreased In patients with (renal
failure, , renal failure and hepatitis B , hepatitis B, hepatitis C , and renal failure and hepatitis C&B) compared
with the control group , also blood urea concentration increased the in patients (renal failure, renal failure and
hepatitis B, and renal failure and hepatitis C) compared with the control group

The research was conducted on 70 employees working in a power plant Mullah Abdullah gas in the city of
Kirkuk for the duration from November 2012 to the end of December 2012, aged of workers varied between
(20 – 60) years and compared the samples studied with 25 blood samples taken from professors and students at
technical Institute Hawija group control. The samples were divided into two groups according to length of
service at the station, the first group included working in the service more than 10 years (20) samples while
second group included working in the service less than 10 years (50) sample. All samples workers in studied
turbine operates within a site with high intensity electromagnetic flux.The results of this study showed
significantly increase at the level (P ≤ 0.01) for each of the Hb and PCV and Pletelet in both group of study
compared with the control group, also the study showed a significant decrease at the level (P ≤ 0.01) of WBC
level in both group of study compared with the control group, also showed no significant difference in the level
of ESR of the two categories studied, compared with the control group

The research was conducted using 50 white male rats (Rattus Norvigicas)of dynasty of Sprague dawely. Their
ages were between ( 3-4 months), and weights (250-350g) during the period from 1 NOV 2011 till 1 JUN 2012.
The rats were divided into 5 groups (10/group). The first group contains healthy rats, the second group contains
the experimentally infected rats that by diabetes – Not treated, the third group contains the rats that infected by
diabetes and treated with aqueous extract of Cinchona officinalis plant, the fourth group contains the rats that
infected by diabetes and treated with Vanadyl sulfate and the last group contains the rats that infected and treated
by Cinchona officinalis plant and Vanadyl sulfate. The results were compared with the control healthy rats (G1). The level of glucose, insulin, total protein, albumin and globulin were measured in the blood serum of all
samples. The results showed that there is a moral increasing in the level of insulin for all treated groups (3,4,5)
and the level of the total protein for (3 and 4) and albumin level for (3) compared with the group (2), and there
was no moral difference in the level of the total protein for group (5) and the level of albumin and globulin for
the group (4) compared with the group (2) and moral decrease in the level of glucose and albumin for the groups
(5) and globulin level for (3،5) compared with group (2).Key words (Cinchona officinalis , Vanadyl sulfate ,

healthy women at P <0.01 level. The results of the estrogen drop high significantly in the third age stage
compared with the two stages: first and second for healthy women at P <0.01 level. The results of progesterone
showed significant increase during the second age stage compared with the first and third phases of age for
healthy women at P <0.01 level .
The results showed high significantly increase the concentration of follicle stimulating hormone FSH during the
three stages of life for healthy women P <0.01 level. It also showed significant decrease for ovulation hormone
LH concentration during the three stages of life for healthy women at P <0.01 level. The hormone prolactin has
showed a significant increase in the second phases of age (30-39) years, and the third of (40-49) years compared
with the first age group. We conclude from this research , an increase in the concentration of FSH and prolactin
and progesterone hormones during the three age groups (20-29 years), (30-39) years (40-49 years) and a
decrease in the concentration of LH and AMH estrogen hormones through the age groups above 45 years old

The objective of this study is to find the relationship of the rate of tooth brushing of intermediate school children,
with their gender, age, rate of sweets consumption, and their parents’ educational level and job in Tikrit and AlDour cities . The study sample was 400 males and 400 female whom their ages range between 13-18 years . The
study shown a significantly (p<0.01) higher rate for females to use toothbrush more than males. A direct relation
for rate of tooth brushing among females with their ages, and a significant inversed relation for males use of
tooth brushing and their ages . Males consume sweets more than females (71.02%, 23.53% respectively and do
not brush their teeth with a significant difference (p<0.01), and 83.92%, 33.33% respectively consume sweets 3
or more times daily with brushing their teeth occasionally). It has been found that there is a significant (p<0.01)
direct relationship between educational level of parents (especially fathers) and rate of use of toothbrush.
Another significant (p<0.01) direct relationship between parents’ job and rate of use of toothbrush has been
found by the study

Prolonged and repeatedly exposure to electromagnetic field from relay stations and cellular telephone energy
induce physiological changes in the head tissue and brain which lead to a disturbances in the work of some
organs and tissues in head , eye , ear and some parts of the brain near contact to cellular telephone during used .
A survey study using a questionnaire conducted on 100 Mosul Institute students , their ages arranged from 20 to
22 year using cellular telephone for more than 8 years for studying of eight non specific health symptoms with
relation of daily repeated use as calls or playing games . The present study pointed out that the long term and
repeatedly exposure to the cellular telephone energy during usage induce increase in the percentage of some
physical symptoms like sleeplessness, anxiety, headache, difficulties in concentration and visual disruption

One hundred fourti samples were collected from hospitalized patients for three days or more in the Tikrit
Teaching Hospital during the period from 1/8/2009 until 1/12/2009 to determine the most commonly isolated
bacterial from nosocomial infections in Tikrit Teaching Hospital and their resistance to antibiotics and to study
the relationship between antibiotics resistance and plasmid content in the most commonly isolated bacteria and
to evaluate the prevalence of these plasmids in the hospital environment . These samples include : (75) Urine ,
(28) stool , (28) of wound swabs and (9) sputum samples .The incidence of nosocomial infection was (45.7%) of
them, urinary tract infections were (50.7%) from (75) samples, followed by wound infections (42.9%) from (28)
samples , gastrointestinal infections (39.3%) from (28) samples then pneumonia (33.3%) from (9) samples the
nosocomial infections were more common in age group 51-89 years.Different bacterial species were isolated in
this study and the results showed that the most commonly isolated type was Citrobacter koseri in a proporation
(21%) of urinary tract infections, followed by the following bacterial species: Escherichia coli (15.7%),
Staphylococcus schleiferi (10.5%) , Staphylococcus epidermidis (7,8%), Proteus vulgaris, Staphylococcus
saprophytica, Klebsiella ozaenae , Klebsiella ornithindytica in aproportion (5.2%) for each, Enterobacter
aerogenes , Providencia stuartii , Staphylococcus warneri, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus mirabilis in
aproportion (2.6%) for each .Citro. koseri were also the most common in wound infections (25%), followed by
the following bacterial species: E.coli (16.6%), P.mirabilis (16.6%), Staph.schleiferi , P.vulgaris, Prov.stuartii
and Prov.rettgeri in aproportion (8.3%) for each.Citro.koseri were also the most common in the gastrointestinal
tract infections in a proporation (36.3%) , followed by E.coli (18.1%), S.flexneri (18.1%), P.mirabilisc,
Prov.stuartii, Prov.alcalifaciens in a proporation (9%) for each.. While Strept.pneumoniae was the most
common (66.7%) in penemonia cases followed by K.pneumoniae (33.3%). The isolated bacteria were tested for
antibiotics susceptibility and it has been found that most of these isolates showed high resistance to the studied
antibiotics other than Agenus Staph.scleiferi was sensitive to Amikacin.Eleven of most commonly isolated
bacteria which were multidrug resistant were chosen for the curing experiments using SDS to study the
relationship of their plasmids with resistant to antibiotics. The results showed that the cured cells of E.coli lost
their resistance to Tetracycline Ciprofloxacin and Cefotaxime which Citro.koseri lost their resistance to
Tetracycline while K. ornithinolytica lost resistance to both antibiotics Tetracycline and Ciprofloxacin either
P.mirabilis lost resistance only to Tetracyclin as well as Strept.pneumoniae lost their resistance to Cefotaxime ,
tracycline and Ampicillin. Which may mean that the genes responsible for resistance to these antibiotics are
located on plasmids as proven by the results of electrophoresis. Electrophoresis results also showed that all
studied bacterial isolates had the same plasmid profile which may regarded as an epidemiological pointer that
plasmids are conjugative which have the ability to transfer antibiotic resistance to other bacterial strains of the
same species or to other different bacterial species

This study aims to possibility of create means to protect the grains stores from infestation with Tribolium
castaneum through test for the efficiency of some biological treatments (fungus Beauveria bassiana and
bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis ) and chemical treatments (Dichlorvos and Diazinon). The study results showed
the fungus B. bassiana was more effective than the bacterium B. thuringiensis from where mortality rate Its
caused 33.90 % compare with 27.41 % in the bacterium B. thuringiensis after 72 hours of the treatment. As well
as the study revealed the Dichlorvos is superiority on Diazinon. which caused mortality rate reached to 38.14 % ,
compare with 31.79 % in chemicides Diazinon after 72 hours of the treatment

The study recorded 36 fungal species belonging to 17 genera , most of them ( 94.4%) from Deuteromycete and
the rest (5.6%) from Zygomycetes where Aspergillus , Fusarium , Penicillium , Cladosporium . and Trichoderma
were the most dominant and frequent genera in soils studied. Among these genera Aspergillus. Was the most
dominant genus with highest frequency (32%) and occurrence (100%) and among Aspergillus. Species, A. niger
showed (100%) occurrence and (9.5%) frequency followed by A. terreus with occurrence of (87.5%) and
frequency of (7.8%) compared with other Aspergillus. Species isolated . CUF for rhizospheric soils was ranged

(23 species) and summer (27 species) .It was revealed that the frequency and number of fungal species , were
different in different sites studied, where site 2 showed the highest number of fungal species (31 , 17 , 25
species in autumn ., winter .and summer respectively) while site 3 showed the lowest number of fungal species
(22, 16 and 19 species in autumn , wined and summer respectively). However , rhizospheric soils of Phragmitis
(Polluted or not) were found to contain more fungal species (28 species) than those of Typha (24 species) and
Juncus (14 species)

The present study is showed that the present of few heavy metals (copper, chromium, zinc, nickel, cobalt,
cadmium and lead) as evidence of water pollution Iraqi heavy elements beyond 2003. The study area was a
cross-section of the Tigris River north of Tikrit and distance 48 km during the measuring period of ten months ,
from November 2007 until July 2008 and six stations selected on the Tigris River in the province of Salahdin,
where it came concentrations copper between (imperceptible-.053) mg /l. The chrome was recorded
(imperceptible-0.757) mg/L and nickel values ranged from (imperceptible-0.079) mg/L and cobalt
(imperceptible -0.096) mg/ L and cadmium (imperceptible -0.026) mg/ L record zinc (imperceptible -0.9429 mg
/ L), with increased values lead to more ranged between (0.01-0.27 mg/ L) and this record lead higher values
followed by nickel, cadmium, cobalt and chromium, copper with came zinc lowest values for of the seven
elements. It is the present study emphasize pollution of the waters of the Tigris River heavy elements

Abstract
Efficacy of concentrations of Metarhizium anisopliae were evaluated against eggs, larval instar, pupae and
adults of house fly Musca domestica under laboratory conditions , the results showed that all insect stages
were sensitive to the fungal concentrations 2.3×106

Treating eggs with 2.3 × 108
conidia/ml caused reduction its hatching percentage up to 66.64 and treating first,
second and third instar larvae by direct spraying and food spraying led to increase percentage mortalities up to
26.66, 18.14 and 51.66 respectively, various malformations were depicted.
Treating house fly pupae with 2.3 × 107
conidia/ml of Metarhizium anisopliae had an average of 83.33%
mortality.
Adult stage showed high sensitivity against fungal conidia, mortality percentages were directly propotional with
the concentration used, after 8 days of exposure mortality percentages were 72.50, 82.50 and 92.50% when adult

The study carried out to investigate the effect of orally providing for eight days from each Citrus aurantifolia
fruit aquatic and alcoholic extracts at 25, 50 and 100mg/g concentration of animal body weight on some
physiological and biochemical parameters in male rats. The results showed asignificant increase (p≤ 0.05) in
Total Leucocyte (WBC) , Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concetration (MCHC), with increasing concentration
of extract , and increasing in Hemoglobin (Hb), Red Blood Corpuscular Count (RBC), Packed Cell Volume
(PCV), Monocyte, Neutrophil, Eosinophil Count, HDL-C, at 50 and 100 mg/g concentration. Also the a
significantly decreased in cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL-C, VLDL-C, Glucose, Urea, and activity of ALT, AST
and AP. Whereas it did not show significant in the Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), Mean Corpuscular
Hemoglobin (MCH), Lymphocyte, and Albumin, with the increased concentration of extract. Also it did not
shows significant in total protein and globulin at 25, 50 concentration, but increased at concentration 100, in
aquatic extract , When compared with the same values in control group. The alcoholic extract showed same
values of aquatic extract except asignificant increasing obtained in Monocyte, Neutrophil, Lymphocyte. It did
not show significant in Hb, RBC, PCV, Eosinophil, total protein and globulin, with increasing concentration of
extract. When compared with aprovided value of control group Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) alone. The study
conclution is the Citrus aurantifolia fruit aqueous and alcoholic extracts improved the blood and biochemical
changes of albino male rats.

This study included estimation of some biochemical parameters, antioxidants and lipid peroxidation in the serum
of diabetic patients type 2, who are treated with polyherbal mixture containing (Nigella sativa, Trigonella
Foenum gracum, Cyperus rotundus, Teucrium polium) and effect of this mixture in patients to knowing the
relationship of the following parameters (Total protein, albumin, globulin, urea, Alkaline phosphatase
ALP,Glutathione GSH and Malondialdehyde MDA).Samples of (70) diabetic patients type 2 were taken
including (44) samples for group one who used herbs and chemical treatment (drugs) ,(26) samples for group
two who are used herbs only. These groups were compared with (60) samples obtained from healthy persons as a
control group. The results were shown that there is an increase the value of the following parameters (ALP,
MDA) in the serum diabetic patients then the results decreased after treatment of these patients with polyherbs
mixture for one, two, and three months in both groups. On the other hand, the results showed a significant
increase of free radicals during the measurement of malondioldehyde level and a decrease of antioxidants such
as glutathione of diabetic type 2 patients compared to the control group (Healthy persons) . At the same time, the
results were shown a decrease in total protein, albumin and glutathione values before treatment of these patients
with a polyherbs mixture but an increasing in these values after treatment whereas, decreasing was observed at
stopping of the treatment with these polyherbs mixture. At the same time also, the result were indicated no
significant was present for the concentration of urea before and after treatment in three months one, two and
three .

This study has been done to determine the relationship between chronic renal failure and the level of some
biochemical parameters (Rennin enzyme, Total Fucose TF, Protein bound Fucose PBF , protein bound Hexose
PBHex, and some other biochemical parameters including glucose , Urea, createnine, Uric acid, High density
lipoproteins Cholestrol HDL-Chol. , low density lipoproteins Cholestrol LDLChol. and electrolytes (Na+
, K+
and
Ca+2) . Case study included (80) patients with chronic renal failure,Who admitted the Kirkuk General Hospital
Department of Dialysis , the ages were (31- 60 years) of both sexes before dialysis, and severity compared with
(45) normal persons as control with same ages, the results was as follows :
1-Results showed a significant increase (P≤0.01) in the level of rennin enzyme , total fucose TF and fucose

In chronic renal disability group before dialysis compared with the control groups and there was no a significant
correlation between age groups or sex .
2-There was a significant decrease (P≤0.01) in the level of protein bound hexose PBHex, Na+
, Ca++ and high
density lipoprotein cholesterol -HDL in the serum of patients before dialysis compared with the control groups
and there was no a significant correlation between age groups or sex .
3-These Study, which showed that the hemodialysis process may play an important role in improving kidney
function for some biochemical variables for patients with chronic renal deficit and a very short period and by the
patient's health status

Chemical analysis was performed for different resources of drinking water supplied to Zintan city in Libya these
resources are , rain water, undergound water and municipal water.
Some chemical elements that may be found at high concentrations were determined and compared with WHO
estimations .
It was confirmed in this research that the chemical properties of rain water were much better compared to
underground water and the latter due to chemical properties also better than municipal water.
Therefore , rain water could be used for drinking without treatment. Other resources could be used for other
purposes except drinking unless pretreatment to remove the high concentrations of calcium , magnesium which
form the water hardness

This Study was performed on 50 blood serum specimence of chronic renal patients , in addition to 100 healthy
blood serum specimens which investigate as control group . The results showed asignificant decrease (P ˂ 0.005)
in phenylalanine hydroxylase (PAH)activity in sera of patients with CRF as compared with healthy control. The
study also included estimultion of catecholamine hormone (Adrenaline , Noradrenaline , Dopamine) , Which
showed a signifant decreasd in the levels of these hormones (P ˂ 0.005) in patients compared to healthy control.
In addition, correlations between (PAH) activity and levels of catecholamine hormone (Adrenaline
Noradrenaline , Dopamine) were studied . The results showed a negative correlation in wiche the levels of
catecholamine hormone were decreased with the decrement of PAH activity (r= 0.471 , 0.55, 0.466) compared
to healthy (r=-0.139 , -0.15 , -0.086) respectively

This research is concerned with studying the vibration frequencies of the (C N and O H) groups in eight of
Schiff bases using the HF method as one of the ab initio methods of quantum mechanics. The gas phase is
compared with the situation of dissolving with the presence of the solvent such as methanol and tetrachloride
carbon to find out the features and energy variables that result from the structural variables for the (8) bases and
the various temperature , The results showed value by HF method in addition to agreement between the
experimental values and the calculated chemical behavior of these rules . The relations among each variables
has been evaluated .The extent and nature of the effect and impact of each variables upon the others is estimated
by the values of correlation coefficient and standard deviation. The result of the simple and multi parametric
correlation analysis showed good consistency between the experimental and Theoretical results

This study was aimed to prepare Palladium pillared γ-alumina catalyst obtained from Iraqi bauxite Ore in
ALhassainiat district near al-Anbar Government that has high aluminum metals. The prepared catalyst was
studied using I.R and TG, which used in the catalytic treatment of heavy naphtha b.p. (100-200°C) derived from
Kirkuk crude oil at reaction temperature ranged from (150-300°C) using autoclave reactor.
The hydrocarbon compositions of the treated naphtha and the Main feedstock were studied in order to determine
the amounts of n-paraffins , aromatic content in addition to the unsaturated compounds .
The results showed that the activity of the catalyst prepared can be used for dehydrogenation and catalytic
reforming processes

In this search study hourly and monthly repetitions of rising dust that has code number (07) in weather code to
selected stations in Iraq (Mosul, Baghdad, Basrah) for period ranged (1995 to 2005) by using data from Iraqi
Meteorological Organization and Seismology. The results appears that Summer months (June , July , August) ,
and Spring months (March , April , May) recorded maximum value of occurrence number for rising dust , while
the minimum of occurrence number recorded in Winter months (December , January , February) and Autumn
months (September, October, November ) in all three study stations . The results also appears that daily weather
observations (

The present study measures the radon concentration and the annual effective dose in greenhouses in Mosul city
during winter season (2012) . Long term measurements of radon concentration have been taken , using
previously calibrated passive diffusion dosimeters containing CR-39 solid state nuclear track detectors which are
very sensitive to alpha particles . The measurements of radon concentration obtained at winter season in
greenhouses ranged between 85.8 Bq.m-3 in glass greenhouse in Mosul technical institute and 101.8 Bq.m-3 in
plasic greenhouse in Al- khadhraa nursery. Also the annual effective dos ranged between 2.16 mSvy-1
in class
greenhouse in Mosul technical institute and 2.56 mSvy-1
in plasic greenhouse in Al- khadhraa nursery

Iron oxide thin films had been deposited on glass substrate by spin coating. Spectrum of x-ray diffraction for
films of Fe2O3 prepared by concentration (0.3M) has been studied. Also the spectrum shows that the films are
polycrystalline structure in the wurtzite phase and by orientation (104) at angle (2θ=33.1023°
) .The AFM
measurements show that the increase in rotation velocity decreasing the grain size. From optical properties, the
transparency of films reach 65-90 % for different velocities. The absorption coefficient and urbach energy
decrease with increase velocity, while the energy gap decrease with velocity

Bulk samples of high temperature superconductivity Tl1.7Ag0.3Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+δ have been prepared by a
two- step solid state reaction process at annealing temperature 850 ºC & pressure at 8ton/cm2 .
The study showed that the Oxygen rate (δ) plays a major role to increase (Tc) , the best rate of Oxygen in the
prepared compounds was (10.27( .
The influence of annealing time have been investigated to obtain the optimum conditions for the formation and
stabilization of the high-Tc phase (Tl-2223). The result have shown that the optimum annealing time was 140h ,
The x-ray data of all superconductor samples showed a tetragonal structure .
The micro structure of the superconductor have been investigated using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
,to determine the elements ratios in the compounds and the range of the annealing influence

Agamma-gamma fast-slow coincidence spectrometer is installed composed of two 3″ X 3″ NaI(TI) scintillation
detectors and the related electronic units to investigate some effects that may occur for the photopeak after the
-ray penetration from certain thicknesses of different materials and comparing this with the singles spectra and
using the obtained spectrum in calculating some parameters of spectroscopic measurements like attenuation
coefficient .
A 22Na source is used in the measurements with a relatively low activity (> 0.1 µCi) . The time spectrum is
measured without absorbing materials using the CFD to derive fast timing pulses with isolating slow rise time
pulses to improve time resolution that was found to be about 7ns . Coincidence spectra are measured using 22Na
located between the face-to-face detectors. The 0.511 MeV gate is selected for the detector that register spectra
in air while the other detector registers the coincident spectrum with the former but after the gamma penetration
through the absorber . Also the latter detector registers the singles spectrum of the penetrating gamma without
using the whole coincidence spectrometer. Linear and mass attenuation coefficients measurements are carried
out for lead and iron materials locally available with different thicknesses and square sheets (10X10cm) . The
mass attenuation coefficient are measured from the coincidence spectra and found to be 0.1114 and 0.0686 cm2
/g
for Pb and Fe, respectively; while from the singles were spectra the coefficient found to be 0.14559 and
0.0976for Pb and Fe, respectively . These values are in good agreement with those published internationally (at
0.500 MeV) taking into consideration that the latter are measured for the three main interactions of ray .
These results and spectra shapes show the possibility of using the coincidence spectrum is measuring more
parameters than that are ordinary obtained from singles spectra. In addition to the reduction of background and
Compton distribution from coincidence spectra which are clearly simplified

SnO2 thin film has been prepared using vacuum thermal Evaporation technique on glass substrate at room temp .
(XRD) spectrum showed that the film was. Polycrystalline and tetragonal . (AFM) measurement showed that the
prepared film is nonstructural. It is found that the direct energy gap value is(2.99) eV. The transmittance
measurements through the wavelengths range ( 300-1100) nm showed a high value about (85%) due tp the thin
film thickens .

The paper investigates experimentally the effect of normal load and sliding velocity on wear rate of some
polymeric blends consists of Epoxy Resin (EP), unsaturated polyester (UP) and Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC),
prepared by Hand – lay up molding with different weight ratios, at room temperature . Experiments were carried
out under normal loads (5,10,15,20) N and sliding velocity (3.14,3.92,4.71) m/sec before and after the immersion
in (HCL) solution with normality (0.3 M) . Experimental results show that the wear rate increases with
increasing normal load and sliding velocity for all samples before and after immersion in (HCL) solution (21)
days. Also the results show that the wear rate for immersed samples in (HCL) solution higher than that of dry
samples

The aim of this work is studying the binary system (Fe1-xNix ) with two ratios (X = 35 , 80) by using Powder
metallurgy method. Magnetic properties have been studied at different heat treatment temperatures throw
Magnetic Hysteresis loop. Several properties have been found such as Magnetic Relative permeability (µr) ,
Magnetic Susceptibility (χm) ,Coercive force (Hc) and Remained force (Br) for all Samples. All the alloys were
found a ferromagnetic behavior and Sensitive to the heat treatment. The results were explained due to the change
on the degree of magnetic moment orders with the change of heat treatment degrees

In this work , ZnO thin films was prepared by Chemical spraying pyrolysis (CSP) method. these film were
prepared by deposition of (Zn(NO3) 2.6H2O) solution on glass slides , with molare concentration (0.1) M/L at
temperature 350°C, the inert gas (N2,O2,air) was used during the operation of preparation as carrier gas .Alse in
this work many tests have been .are done (ORM.UV) on the sample , and we have notched that the difference
between the value of the transmission energy gap , and absorption cofficent For deposition the film and we have
made comparison between them, some of these films have high transmission value reached to 90% .

Undoped and Cu-doped SnO2 with doping percentage of (1%,3%) have been prepared using chemical spray
pyrolysis method on glass substrate at (773K), with spray rate (5 ml/min). The absorbance and transmittance
spectra have been recorded in the wavelength range (300-900) nm. It was found that the transmittance decreased
with doping, while the optical band gap decreased for allowed direct transition with increasing Cu concentration.
Electrical Measurement showed that the conductivity decreased with cupper doping and Carrier concentration

This papar studies the optical feutures of the thin films of the pure CdO and that mixed with copper (3 ,5 , 7 ,10
%) which prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis were deposited on 500ºC glass substrates. and the amount of
thickness (115nm). This papar studies the optical feutures through the spectrum trasnsmission (T) of the pure
CdO films and that mixed with copper prepared in the range of wave lengh (290 – 1100). the stady finds that the
pure CdO film trasnsmissin is high ,ranging between (80 -72) % in the visible area, it is found also that using
mixing the trasnsmission of CdO film is reduced and the optical energy gap is also reduced the value the optical
energy gap is also know which is (2.6 ev ) of the pure CdO As for the mixed, the value of the energy gap is
reduced when the mixing in creasl (2.56 , 2.5 2.46 , 2.4 ev) for the percentages (3 ,5,7,10) % consequently. No
indirect trasnsmission , in all the prepared films is noticed .The rest of optical constant factors were calculated as
funactions the fotpn energy, which include (absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient)

Selected location in North, Center and South Tikrit city have been sampled for the purpose to determine the
heavy metals in soil. From grain size point that the soil mostly sandy loam soil with organic content in different
percentages. The identified heavy minerals are; biotite, epidote , muscovite, and opaque minerals in high
percentages .
The recognized minerals by (XRD) are; The clay minerals , Montmorilonite , Illite , Kaolinite , Palygorskite ,
and the non – clay minerals are; calcite, Gypsum and Quartz. The heavy metals including the determination of
(Co, Cd, Pb, Cu, Fe, Zn, and Ni) .
It is found that most of these elements have concentration higher than natural concentration in the earth crust or
soil, that may be due to the pollution from different sources .

Six gravely samples are studied in laboratory for specific assessment, according to Iraqi & American standards.
Grain distribution results indicaete , all samples are uniform graded , some particles diameter are absence .
Uniformity and Concavity coefficient values are (less than 4, less than 1) respectevly , Samples (1 , 4 , 5) are
suitable, while (2 ,3 ,6) are not suitable , total dissolved salts% ,gypsum cotent% , organic materials% are
acceptable . most gravel shapes are rounded , subronded , anguler , subanguler with percentage ( 76% - 81% ) ,
and flattening shapes about (19% - 24%) . Gravels uncoated with (salts , gypsum , organic materials , clays) ,
soft materials , noncrystallized silica minerals and mica , schist , gneiss minerals are absent. Sedimentary
gravels forming about (77%), igneous gravels (7%) ,metamorphic gravels (l6%) . From XRD the following
minerals identified Quartz mineral very dominate –dominate ,calcite ,dominate ,orthoclase moderate ,plagioclase
moderate-trace , ( aragonite ,gypsum. ,dolomite ,halite ,chlorite ,kaolinite , talc )very trace .

The study have been consist of executing the morphmetric analysis potentially for secondary hydro basins to
study area . by using geomorphology indicators equations for fluvial valleys that indicators of happening tectonic
activity ,were have used by number of researchers in modern geomorphology studies to different area in the
world. this was upon of digital elevation model (DEM) and by using program (ARC GIS) for extracting the

The aim of this paper is to generate a new shapes of Serpenski Carpet where this new shapes have fractal
dimensions just like Serpenski Carpet . At the beginning of our paper the idea of fractals and Serpenski Carpet
are introduced and then we made the new shapes for the first 10 iterations with given a name for each one of
them and then provide algorithms for a number of them which programmed in C + +

In this research, the neural network model was applied to estimate the soil temperatures on various depths and
with different times periods in terms of Air_temperature, sunshine and radiation for a given day of the year using
the BackPropagation Network (BPN). Different algorithms were used including; Gradient Descent algorithm
(GD) , Gradient Descent with Momentum algorithm (GDM) , Conjugate Gradient algorithm (CFG) , QuasiNewton algorithm (BFGS) and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm (LM) . Data was obtained from the soil and
water research department / Nineveh province for the period from 1980 –1983 was used, and date included daily
soil temperature on depths of (5, 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100) CM and for three time periods at (9, 12, and 15 hours)
for cultivated and uncultivated soils. The data of two years was used to develop the models and the data of 1983
was used to evaluate the models and comparing the outputs with the data measured. Also, the R2
scales and the
root of mean square error (RMSE) were used in determining the match of the measured data and the neural
network outputs to select the best predictive model out of the applied models. Results showed that the (LM)
algorithm proves to be highly efficiency in improving a good predictive model for temperature of various depths
of soil. In addition, this algorithm is also considered the best and fastest algorithm for constructing such models
for any daily cultivated and uncultivated soil at different depths if Air temperature , sunshine and radiation are
available at the three measuring periods for any day of the year
