About the Journal
Description
University of Thi-Qar Journal of Science, the official journal of the College of Science, University of Thi-Qar is devoted to the pure sciences of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Geology fields of knowledge.
The University of Thi-Qar Journal of Science (UTJSCI) is an international journal that founded in 2007 and it welcomes manuscripts presenting new information which is not previously published anywhere in fields of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geology. Manuscripts with novel ideas and particularly those have applications, research and developments in the mentioned aspects have the opportunity of publication in the journal. All submitted manuscripts are subject to reviews to assure value, accuracy, clarity, and the originality of the introduced research. Manuscripts of general interest are not preferable for the journal. UTJSCI has the vision to become a reputable journal. We aim to provide lecturers, researchers, both in academic and industrial aspects, and students worldwide with unlimited access to publish their works in our journal.
Journal publishing schedule
University of Thi-Qar Journal of Science publishes one volume of two issues per year, through May/June and November/December, respectively.
Journal Scope
University of Thi-Qar Journal of Science (UTJSCI) welcomes and publishes original research and review manuscripts starting from Volume 12, Issue 2, 2025, The UTJSCI is devoted to the manuscripts in pure sciences in fields of:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Geology
Open Access Policy
University of Thi-Qar Journal of Science is an open-access journal for all its scientific publications and articles, aiming to support the global exchange of knowledge and skills in its areas of scholarly interest. This means that all types of accepted articles will be immediately available with free review by research stakeholders on the journal\'s website and allied scientific sites.
