The Journal of Engineering is a scientific journal published by the College of Engineering – the University of Baghdad since 1986. Its papers are reviewed by efficient and highly qualified professors in various engineering fields. It was originally published quarterly but started monthly in 2011 due to the abundant research papers submitted. All issued are released on the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals website and the journal’s website. The Journal is edited and supervised by a multidisciplinary editorial board of specialized, experienced, and highly qualified professors in scientific research. Most of the scientists and researchers in Iraq, other Arabs and worldwide countries who specialize in engineering publish their research work in the Journal because of its outstanding position among other similar journals.

Journal Scope

The Journal of Engineering is a monthly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal. The journal publishes high-quality original articles and reviews with acceptable, professional, and significant background. It publishes articles in various engineering disciplines with the following specializations:

1. Mechanical and Energy Engineering

Acoustics, Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, HVAC, Manufacturing, Marine, Industrial Engineering, Railway, Tribology, Porous Media, Metal Foam, Phase Change Materials, Composite Materials, Nanofluids.

2. Civil and Architecture Engineering

Architectural, Coastal, Construction, Earthquake, Structural, Urban Planning, Transportation, Marine and Water Resources Engineering, Geomatics and Geospatial Engineering.

3. Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering

Broadcast, Computer Vision, Control, Electromechanics, Electronics, Avionics, Microwaves, Communications, Power, Radio frequency, Telecommunications, Robotics and AI.

4. Environmental and Chemical Engineering
