Midad AL-Adab Journal Description
Midad AL-Adab is a scientific referred quarterly journal in the field of humanities. Besides, the journal is an open access and its published papers are available for all readers. Its first issue was published in 2011 in two versions: (printed and electronic). It is issued by College of Arts/ AL-Iraqia University.

The journal has obtained accreditations from Arab Impact Factor in 2018 and also obtained Arab citation and Impact Factor (Arcif) in 2021 that are compatible with internationally recognized standards.
Open Access Policy
Medad Al-Adab Journal is an open access journal, therefore, there are no fees required to download any research published from the journal website, whether by authors, readers, or institutions. Medad Al-Adab Journal applies the license:….:
This license allows publishing authors to retain copyright of their research. This license also allows any user to download, print, reuse, and archive research, as long as credit is given to the authors.
The license ensures that the research will be as widely available as possible, and that the article can be included in any scholarly archive.

The scientific research accepted for publication in the journal is intended for academic promotion purposes. Midad al-Adab aims to be a reliable scientific reference for scholars, researchers, and faculty members in universities, institutes, and academic institutions.
In line with this vision, the journal welcomes the submission of research according to the following conditions:
- The researcher must ensure the correctness of the Arabic language and the clarity of the writing. The research should not have been previously published, and submitting it to the journal implies a commitment to this. It should not be an excerpt from a thesis or dissertation used to obtain an academic degree.
- The journal is not obliged to return submitted research, whether it is accepted for publication or not.
- All scientific sources should be cited both in the body of the text and at the end of the paper according to the established academic citation methods.
- The research should be submitted in three printed copies, adhering to the technical style for research papers. It should also be submitted on a CD in (Microsoft Word) format, following these requirements:
- a. The margins should be set automatically, not manually.
- b. The font used in the body of the text should be Simplified Arabic with a font size of 14.
- c. The font used for footnotes should also be Simplified Arabic with a font size of 12.
- d. Qur\'anic verses should be formatted according to the Mushaf al-Madina program.
